1. എന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, നിന്നെ ഞാന് ശരണം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു; എന്നെ വേട്ടയാടുന്ന എല്ലാവരുടെയും കയ്യില് നിന്നു എന്നെ രക്ഷിച്ചു വിടുവിക്കേണമേ.

1. O LORD my God, in thee I have put my trust: save me from all those that persecute me, and deliver me

2. അവന് സിംഹം എന്നപോലെ എന്നെ കീറിക്കളയരുതേ; വിടുവിപ്പാന് ആരുമില്ലാതിരിക്കുമ്പോള് എന്നെ ചീന്തിക്കളയരുതേ.

2. Lest they take my soul, as a lion dismembers [his prey] when [there is] none to deliver.

3. എന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, ഞാന് ഇതു ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കില്, എന്റെ പക്കല് നീതികേടുണ്ടെങ്കില്,

3. O LORD my God, if I have done this: if there is iniquity in my hands,

4. എനിക്കു ബന്ധുവായിരുന്നവനോടു ഞാന് ദോഷം ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കില്, - ഹേതുകൂടാതെ എനിക്കു വൈരിയായിരുന്നവനെ ഞാന് വിടുവിച്ചുവല്ലോ -

4. if I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me, then let my persecutor escape without retribution.

5. ശത്രു എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ പിന്തുടര്ന്നു പിടിക്കട്ടെ; അവന് എന്റെ ജീവനെ നിലത്തിട്ടു ചവിട്ടട്ടെ; എന്റെ മാനത്തെ പൂഴിയില് തള്ളിയിടട്ടെ. സേലാ.

5. Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take [it]; let him tread down my life upon the earth and lay my honour in the dust. Selah.

6. യഹോവേ, കോപത്തോടെ എഴുന്നേല്ക്കേണമേ; എന്റെ വൈരികളുടെ ക്രോധത്തോടു എതിര്ത്തുനില്ക്കേണമേ; എനിക്കു വേണ്ടി ഉണരേണമേ; നീ ന്യായവിധി കല്പിച്ചുവല്ലോ.

6. Arise, O LORD, in thine anger; lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake the judgment in my favour [that] thou hast commanded.

7. ജാതികളുടെ സംഘം നിന്നെ ചുറ്റിനില്ക്കട്ടെ; നീ അവര്ക്കും മീതെ കൂടി ഉയരത്തിലേക്കു മടങ്ങേണമേ.

7. So shall the congregation of the people compass thee about, for their sakes therefore return thou on high.

8. യഹോവ ജാതികളെ ന്യായംവിധിക്കുന്നു; യഹോവേ, എന്റെ നീതിക്കും പരമാര്ത്ഥതെക്കും തക്കവണ്ണം എന്നെ വിധിക്കേണമേ;

8. The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness and according to the integrity [that is] in me.

9. ദുഷ്ടന്റെ ദുഷ്ടത തീര്ന്നുപോകട്ടെ; നീതിമാനെ നീ ഉറപ്പിക്കേണമേ. നീതിമാനായ ദൈവം ഹൃദയങ്ങളെയും അന്തരിന്ദ്രിയങ്ങളെയും ശോധനചെയ്യുന്നുവല്ലോ.

9. Let wickedness consume the wicked; but establish the just: for the righteous God is he who tries the hearts and kidneys.

10. എന്റെ പരിച ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പക്കല് ഉണ്ടു; അവന് ഹൃദയപരമാര്ത്ഥികളെ രക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.

10. My shield [is] in God, he who saves the upright in heart.

11. ദൈവം നീതിയുള്ള ന്യായാധിപതിയാകുന്നു; ദൈവം ദിവസംപ്രതി കോപിക്കുന്നു.

11. God is he who judges the righteous, and God is angry [with the wicked] every day.

12. മനം തിരിയുന്നില്ലെങ്കില് അവന് തന്റെ വാളിന്നു മൂര്ച്ചകൂട്ടും; അവന് തന്റെ വില്ലു കുലെച്ചു ഒരുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

12. If he does not turn, he will whet his sword; he has bent his bow and made it ready.

13. അവന് മരണാസ്ത്രങ്ങളെ അവന്റെ നേരെ തൊടുത്തു. തന്റെ ശരങ്ങളെ തീയമ്പുകളാക്കി തീര്ത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

13. He has also prepared for him the weapons of death; he ordains his arrows against the persecutors.

14. ഇതാ, അവന്നു നീതികേടിനെ നോവു കിട്ടുന്നു; അവന് കഷ്ടത്തെ ഗര്ഭം ധരിച്ചു വഞ്ചനയെ പ്രസവിക്കുന്നു.

14. Behold, he travails with iniquity and has conceived [of his own] work and brought forth falsehood.

15. അവന് ഒരു കുഴി കുഴിച്ചുണ്ടാക്കി, കുഴിച്ച കുഴിയില് താന് തന്നേ വീണു.

15. He made a pit and deepened it and shall fall into the ditch [which] he made.

16. അവന്റെ വേണ്ടാതനം അവന്റെ തലയിലേക്കു തിരിയും; അവന്റെ ബലാല്ക്കാരം അവന്റെ നെറുകയില് തന്നേ വീഴും.

16. His work shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate.

17. ഞാന് യഹോവയെ അവന്റെ നീതിക്കു തക്കവണ്ണം സ്തുതിക്കും; അത്യുന്നതനായ യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിന്നു സ്തോത്രം പാടും.

17. I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.:
