1. യഹോവേ, ചെവി ചായിക്കേണമേ; എനിക്കുത്തരമരുളേണമേ; ഞാന് എളിയവനും ദരിദ്രനും ആകുന്നു.

1. A Prayer. David's. Bow down, O Yahweh, thine ear answer me, For, oppressed and needy, am I;

2. എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ കാക്കേണമേ; ഞാന് നിന്റെ ഭക്തനാകുന്നു; എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, നിന്നില് ആശ്രയിക്കുന്ന അടിയനെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ.

2. O guard my life, For, a man of lovingkindness, am I, Save thy servant, O thou my God, Thy servant who trusteth in thee;

3. കര്ത്താവേ, എന്നോടു കൃപയുണ്ടാകേണമേ; ഇടവിടാതെ ഞാന് നിന്നോടു നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു.

3. Show me favour, O My Lord, For, unto thee, do I cry, all the day;

4. അടിയന്റെ ഉള്ളത്തെ സന്തോഷിപ്പിക്കേണമേ; യഹോവേ, നിങ്കലേക്കു ഞാന് എന്റെ ഉള്ളം ഉയര്ത്തുന്നു.

4. Rejoice the soul of thy servant, For, unto thee, O My Lord, my soul, do I lift.

5. കര്ത്താവേ, നീ നല്ലവനും ക്ഷമിക്കുന്നവനും നിന്നോടു അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നവരോടൊക്കെയും മഹാദയാലുവും ആകുന്നു.

5. For, thou, O My Lord, art good and forgiving, And abundant in lovingkindness, to all who call upon thee.

6. യഹോവേ, എന്റെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥനയെ ചെവിക്കൊള്ളേണമേ. എന്റെ യാചനകളെ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കേണമേ.

6. Give ear, O Yahweh, unto my prayer, And attend unto the voice of my supplications.

7. നീ എനിക്കുത്തരമരുളുകയാല് എന്റെ കഷ്ടദിവസത്തില് ഞാന് നിന്നെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.

7. In the day of my distress, will I call upon thee, For thou wilt answer me.

8. കര്ത്താവേ, ദേവന്മാരില് നിനക്കു തുല്യനായവനില്ല; നിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികള്ക്കു തുല്യമായ ഒരു പ്രവൃത്തിയുമില്ല.

8. There is none like unto thee, among the gods, O My Lord, And nothing like thy works.

9. കര്ത്താവേ, നീ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ സകലജാതികളും തിരുമുമ്പില് വന്നു നമസ്കരിക്കും; അവര് നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തും.

9. All nations whom thou hast made, Shall come in and bow down before thee, O My Lord, That they may glorify thy Name.

10. നീ വലിയവനും അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെ പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നവനുമല്ലോ; നീ മാത്രം ദൈവമാകുന്നു.

10. For great thou art, and doest wondrous things, Thou, O God, of thyself alone.

11. യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ വഴി എനിക്കു കാണിച്ചുതരേണമേ; എന്നാല് ഞാന് നിന്റെ സത്യത്തില് നടക്കും; നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടുവാന് എന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തെ ഏകാഗ്രമാക്കേണമേ.

11. Point out to me, O Yahweh, thy way, I will walk steadfastly in thy truth, My heart will rejoice to revere thy Name.

12. എന്റെ ദൈവമായ കര്ത്താവേ, ഞാന് പൂര്ണ്ണഹൃദയത്തോടെ നിന്നെ സ്തുതിക്കും; നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ എന്നേക്കും മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തും.

12. I will give thee thanks, Adonay, my God, with all my heart, And will glorify thy Name unto times age-abiding.

13. എന്നോടുള്ള നിന്റെ ദയ വലിയതല്ലോ; നീ എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ അധമപാതാളത്തില് നിന്നു രക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

13. For, thy lovingkindness, is great towards me, And thou hast rescued my soul from Hades beneath.

14. ദൈവമേ, അഹങ്കാരികള് എന്നോടു എതിര്ത്തിരിക്കുന്നു. ഘോരന്മാരുടെ കൂട്ടം എനിക്കു പ്രാണഹാനി വരുത്തുവാന് നോക്കുന്നു. അവര് നിന്നെ ലക്ഷ്യമാക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.

14. O God, the insolent, have arisen against me, And, the assembly of tyrants, have sought my life, And have not set thee before them.

15. നീയോ കര്ത്താവേ, കരുണയും കൃപയും നിറഞ്ഞ ദൈവമാകുന്നു; ദീര്ഘക്ഷമയും മഹാദയയും വിശ്വസ്തതയുമുള്ളവന് തന്നേ.

15. But, thou, O My Lord, art, A God of compassion and favour, Slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness a faithfulness.

16. എങ്കലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞു എന്നോടു കൃപയുണ്ടാകേണമേ; നിന്റെ ദാസന്നു നിന്റെ ശക്തി തന്നു, നിന്റെ ദാസിയുടെ പുത്രനെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ.

16. Turn thou unto me, and show me favour, Give thy strength to thy servant, And save the son of thy handmaid.

17. എന്നെ പകെക്കുന്നവര് കണ്ടു ലജ്ജിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നന്മെക്കായി ഒരു അടയാളം എനിക്കു തരേണമേ; യഹോവേ, നീ എന്നെ സഹായിച്ചു ആശ്വസിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ. (കോരഹ് പുത്രന്മാരുടെ ഒരു സങ്കീര്ത്തനം; ഒരു ഗീതം.)

17. Perform with me a token for good, That they who hate me may see and be ashamed, In that, thou, Yahweh, hast helped me and comforted me.
