1. യഹോവേ, ചെവി ചായിക്കേണമേ; എനിക്കുത്തരമരുളേണമേ; ഞാന് എളിയവനും ദരിദ്രനും ആകുന്നു.

1. A prayer of David Bow down thine ear, O LORD, and hear me, for I am comfortless and poor.

2. എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ കാക്കേണമേ; ഞാന് നിന്റെ ഭക്തനാകുന്നു; എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, നിന്നില് ആശ്രയിക്കുന്ന അടിയനെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ.

2. O keep my soul, for I am holy: my God, help thy servant that putteth his trust in thee.

3. കര്ത്താവേ, എന്നോടു കൃപയുണ്ടാകേണമേ; ഇടവിടാതെ ഞാന് നിന്നോടു നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു.

3. Be merciful unto me, O Lord,(LORDE) for I call daily upon thee.

4. അടിയന്റെ ഉള്ളത്തെ സന്തോഷിപ്പിക്കേണമേ; യഹോവേ, നിങ്കലേക്കു ഞാന് എന്റെ ഉള്ളം ഉയര്ത്തുന്നു.

4. Comfort the soul of thy servant, for unto thee, O Lord,(LORDE) do I lift up my soul.

5. കര്ത്താവേ, നീ നല്ലവനും ക്ഷമിക്കുന്നവനും നിന്നോടു അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നവരോടൊക്കെയും മഹാദയാലുവും ആകുന്നു.

5. For thou Lord,(LORDE) art good and gracious, and of great mercy unto all them that call upon thee.

6. യഹോവേ, എന്റെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥനയെ ചെവിക്കൊള്ളേണമേ. എന്റെ യാചനകളെ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കേണമേ.

6. Give ear, O LORD unto my prayer, and ponder my humble desire.

7. നീ എനിക്കുത്തരമരുളുകയാല് എന്റെ കഷ്ടദിവസത്തില് ഞാന് നിന്നെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.

7. In the time of my trouble I call upon thee, for thou hearest me.

8. കര്ത്താവേ, ദേവന്മാരില് നിനക്കു തുല്യനായവനില്ല; നിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികള്ക്കു തുല്യമായ ഒരു പ്രവൃത്തിയുമില്ല.

8. Among the Gods(goddes) there is none like unto thee O Lord, there is not one that can do as thou doest.

9. കര്ത്താവേ, നീ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ സകലജാതികളും തിരുമുമ്പില് വന്നു നമസ്കരിക്കും; അവര് നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തും.

9. All nations whom thou hast made, shall come and worship before thee, O Lord, and shall glorify thy name.

10. നീ വലിയവനും അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെ പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നവനുമല്ലോ; നീ മാത്രം ദൈവമാകുന്നു.

10. For thou art great, thou doest wonderous things, thou art God alone.

11. യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ വഴി എനിക്കു കാണിച്ചുതരേണമേ; എന്നാല് ഞാന് നിന്റെ സത്യത്തില് നടക്കും; നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടുവാന് എന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തെ ഏകാഗ്രമാക്കേണമേ.

11. Lead me in thy way, O LORD, that I may walk in thy truth: O let my heart delight in fearing thy name.

12. എന്റെ ദൈവമായ കര്ത്താവേ, ഞാന് പൂര്ണ്ണഹൃദയത്തോടെ നിന്നെ സ്തുതിക്കും; നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ എന്നേക്കും മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തും.

12. I thank thee, O Lord(LORDE) my God, and will praise thy name for ever.

13. എന്നോടുള്ള നിന്റെ ദയ വലിയതല്ലോ; നീ എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ അധമപാതാളത്തില് നിന്നു രക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

13. For great is thy mercy toward me, thou hast delivered my soul from the nethermost hell.

14. ദൈവമേ, അഹങ്കാരികള് എന്നോടു എതിര്ത്തിരിക്കുന്നു. ഘോരന്മാരുടെ കൂട്ടം എനിക്കു പ്രാണഹാനി വരുത്തുവാന് നോക്കുന്നു. അവര് നിന്നെ ലക്ഷ്യമാക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.

14. O God, the proud are risen against me, and the congregation of the mighty seeketh after my soul, and set not thee before their eyes.

15. നീയോ കര്ത്താവേ, കരുണയും കൃപയും നിറഞ്ഞ ദൈവമാകുന്നു; ദീര്ഘക്ഷമയും മഹാദയയും വിശ്വസ്തതയുമുള്ളവന് തന്നേ.

15. But thou, O Lord God,(o LORDE God) art full of compassion and mercy, longsuffering, great in goodness and truth.

16. എങ്കലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞു എന്നോടു കൃപയുണ്ടാകേണമേ; നിന്റെ ദാസന്നു നിന്റെ ശക്തി തന്നു, നിന്റെ ദാസിയുടെ പുത്രനെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ.

16. O turn thee then unto me, have mercy upon me: give thy strength unto thy servant, and help the son of thine handmaid.

17. എന്നെ പകെക്കുന്നവര് കണ്ടു ലജ്ജിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നന്മെക്കായി ഒരു അടയാളം എനിക്കു തരേണമേ; യഹോവേ, നീ എന്നെ സഹായിച്ചു ആശ്വസിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ. (കോരഹ് പുത്രന്മാരുടെ ഒരു സങ്കീര്ത്തനം; ഒരു ഗീതം.)

17. Shew some token upon me for good, that they which hate me, may see it, and be ashamed: because thou, LORD, hast helped me, and comforted me.
