1. മോശെയും യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളും അന്നു യഹോവേക്കു സങ്കീര്ത്തനം പാടി ചൊല്ലിയതു എന്തെന്നാല്ഞാന് യഹോവേക്കു പാട്ടുപാടും, അവന് മഹോന്നതന് കുതിരയെയും അതിന്മേല് ഇരുന്നവനെയും അവന് കടലില് തള്ളിയിട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
വെളിപ്പാടു വെളിപാട് 15:3

1. Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song vnto the Lord, and sayd in this maner, I will sing vnto the Lord: for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and him that rode vpon him hath he ouerthrowen in the Sea.

2. എന്റെ ബലവും എന്റെ ഗീതവും യഹോവയത്രേ; അവന് എനിക്കു രക്ഷയായ്തീര്ന്നു. അവന് എന്റെ ദൈവം; ഞാന് അവനെ സ്തുതിക്കും; അവന് എന്റെ പിതാവിന് ദൈവം; ഞാന് അവനെ പുകഴ്ത്തും.

2. The Lord is my strength and praise, and he is become my saluation. He is my God, and I will prepare him a tabernacle. he is my fathers God, and I will exalt him.

3. യഹോവ യുദ്ധവീരന് ; യഹോവ എന്നു അവന്റെ നാമം.

3. The Lord is a man of warre, his Name is Iehouah.

4. ഫറവോന്റെ രഥങ്ങളെയും സൈന്യത്തെയും അവന് കടലില് തള്ളിയിട്ടു; അവന്റെ രഥിപ്രവരന്മാര് ചെങ്കടലില് മുങ്ങിപ്പോയി.

4. Pharaohs charets and his host hath he cast into the Sea: his chosen captaines also were drowned in the red Sea.

5. ആഴി അവരെ മൂടി; അവര് കല്ലുപോലെ ആഴത്തില് താണു.

5. The depths haue couered them, they sanke to the bottome as a stone.

6. യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ വലങ്കൈ ബലത്തില് മഹത്വപ്പെട്ടു; യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ വലങ്കൈ ശത്രുവിനെ തകര്ത്തുകളഞ്ഞു.

6. Thy right hande, O Lord, is glorious in power: thy right hand, O Lord, hath brused the enemie.

7. നീ എതിരാളികളെ മഹാപ്രഭാവത്താല് സംഹരിക്കുന്നു; നീ നിന്റെ ക്രോധം അയക്കുന്നു; അതു അവരെ താളടിയെപ്പോലെ ദഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

7. And in thy great glorie thou hast ouerthrowen them that rose against thee: thou sentest forth thy wrath, which consumed them as the stubble.

8. നിന്റെ മൂക്കിലെ ശ്വാസത്താല് വെള്ളം കുന്നിച്ചുകൂടി; പ്രവാഹങ്ങള് ചിറപോലെ നിന്നു; ആഴങ്ങള് കടലിന്റെ ഉള്ളില് ഉറെച്ചുപോയി.

8. And by the blast of thy nostrels the waters were gathered, the floods stoode still as an heape, the depthes congealed together in the heart of the Sea.

9. ഞാന് പിന്തുടരും, പിടിക്കും, കൊള്ള പങ്കിടും; എന്റെ ആശ അവരാല് പൂര്ത്തിയാകും; ഞാന് എന്റെ വാള് ഊരും; എന്റെ കൈ അവരെ നിഗ്രഹിക്കും എന്നു ശത്രു പറഞ്ഞു.

9. The enemie sayd, I wil pursue, I wil ouertake them, I will deuide the spoyle, my lust shall bee satisfied vpon them, I will drawe my sworde, mine hand shall destroy them.

10. നിന്റെ കാറ്റിനെ നീ ഊതിച്ചു, കടല് അവരെ മൂടി; അവര് ഈയംപോലെ പെരുവെള്ളത്തില് താണു.

10. Thou blewest with thy winde, the Sea couered them, they sanke as leade in the mightie waters.

11. യഹോവേ, ദേവന്മാരില് നിനക്കു തുല്യന് ആര്? വിശുദ്ധിയില് മഹിമയുള്ളവനേ, സ്തുതികളില് ഭയങ്കരനേ, അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെ പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നവനേ, നിനക്കു തുല്യന് ആര്?

11. Who is like vnto thee, O Lord, among the Gods! who is like thee so glorious in holinesse, fearefull in prayses, doing wonders!

12. നീ വലങ്കൈ നീട്ടി, ഭൂമി അവരെ വിഴുങ്ങി.

12. Thou stretchedst out thy right hande, the earth swallowed them.

13. നീ വീണ്ടെടുത്ത ജനത്തെ ദയയാല് നടത്തി; നിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധനിവാസത്തിലേക്കു നിന്റെ ബലത്താല് അവരെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.

13. Thou wilt by thy mercie cary this people, which thou deliueredst: thou wilt bring them in thy strength vnto thine holy habitation.

14. ജാതികള് കേട്ടു നടങ്ങുന്നു. ഫെലിസ്ത്യനിവാസികള്ക്കു ഭീതിപിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

14. The people shall heare and be afraide: sorow shall come vpon the inhabitants of Palestina.

15. എദോമ്യപ്രഭുക്കന്മാര് ഭ്രമിച്ചു; മോവാബ്യമുമ്പന്മാര്ക്കും കമ്പം പിടിച്ചു; കനാന്യ നിവാസികളെല്ലാം ഉരുകിപ്പോകുന്നു.

15. Then the dukes of Edom shalbe amased, and trembling shall come vpon the great men of Moab: all the inhabitantes of Canaan shall waxe faint hearted.

16. ഭയവും ഭീതിയും അവരുടെമേല് വീണു, നിന് ഭുജമാഹാത്മ്യത്താല് അവര് കല്ലുപോലെ ആയി; അങ്ങനെ, യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ ജനം കടന്നു, നീ സമ്പാദിച്ച ജനം കടന്നു പോയി.

16. Feare and dread shall fall vpon them: because of the greatnesse of thine arme, they shalbe stil as a stone, till thy people passe, O Lord: til this people passe, which thou hast purchased.

17. നീ അവരെ കൊണ്ടുചെന്നു തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്നൊരുക്കിയ സ്ഥാനത്തു, യഹോവേ, നിന്നവകാശപര്വ്വതത്തില് നീ അവരെ നട്ടു, കര്ത്താവേ, തൃക്കൈ സ്ഥാപിച്ച വിശുദ്ധ മന്ദിരത്തിങ്കല് തന്നേ.

17. Thou shalt bring them in, and plant them in the mountaine of thine inheritance, which is the place that thou hast prepared, O Lord, for to dwell in, euen the sanctuarie, O Lord, which thine hands shall establish.

18. യഹോവ എന്നും എന്നേക്കും രാജാവായി വാഴും.

18. The Lord shall reigne for euer and euer.

19. എന്നാല് ഫറവോന്റെ കുതിര അവന്റെ രഥവും കുതിരപ്പടയുമായി കടലിന്റെ നടുവില് ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെന്നപ്പോള് യഹോവ കടലിലെ വെള്ളം അവരുടെ മേല് മടക്കി വരുത്തി; യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോ കടലിന്റെ നടുവില് ഉണങ്ങിയ നിലത്തുകൂടി കടന്നു പോന്നു.

19. For Pharaohs horses went with his charets and horsemen into the Sea, and the Lord brought the waters of the Sea vpon them: but the children of Israel went on drie land in the middes of the Sea.

20. അഹരോന്റെ സഹോദരി മിര്യ്യാം എന്ന പ്രവാചകി കയ്യില് തപ്പു എടുത്തു, സ്ത്രീകള് എല്ലാവരും തപ്പുകളോടും നൃത്തങ്ങളോടും കൂടെ അവളുടെ പിന്നാലെ ചെന്നു.

20. And Miriam the prophetesse, sister of Aaron tooke a timbrell in her hande, and all the women came out after her with timbrels and daunces.

21. മിര്യ്യാം അവരോടും പ്രതിഗാനമായി ചൊല്ലിയതുയഹോവേക്കു പാട്ടുപാടുവിന് , അവന് മഹോന്നതന് കുതിരയെയും അതിന്മേല് ഇരുന്നവനെയും അവന് കടലില് തള്ളിയിട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

21. And Miriam answered the men, Sing yee vnto the Lord: for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath hee ouerthrowen in the Sea.

22. അനന്തരം മോശെ യിസ്രായേലിനെ ചെങ്കടലില്നിന്നു പ്രയാണം ചെയ്യിച്ചു; അവര് ശൂര്മരുഭൂമിയില് ചെന്നു, മൂന്നു ദിവസം മരുഭൂമിയില് വെള്ളം കിട്ടാതെ സഞ്ചരിച്ചു.

22. Then Moses brought Israel from the redde Sea, and they went out into the wildernesse of Shur: and they went three dayes in the wildernesse, and found no waters.

23. മാറയില് എത്തിയാറെ, മാറയിലെ വെള്ളം കുടിപ്പാന് അവര്ക്കും കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല; അതു കൈപ്പുള്ളതായിരുന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ടു അതിന്നു മാറാ എന്നു പേരിട്ടു.

23. And whe they came to Marah, they could not drinke of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of the place was called Marah.

24. അപ്പോള് ജനംഞങ്ങള് എന്തു കുടിക്കും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു മോശെയുടെ നേരെ പിറുപിറുത്തു.

24. Then the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drinke?

25. അവന് യഹോവയോടു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു; യഹോവ അവന്നു ഒരു വൃക്ഷം കാണിച്ചുകൊടുത്തു. അവന് അതു വെള്ളത്തില് ഇട്ടപ്പോള് വെള്ളം മധുരമായി തീര്ന്നു. അവിടെവെച്ചു അവന് അവര്ക്കും ഒരു ചട്ടവും പ്രമാണവും നിയമിച്ചു; അവിടെവെച്ചു അവന് അവരെ പരീക്ഷിച്ചു

25. And he cried vnto the Lord, and the Lord shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were sweete: there he made them an ordinance and a law, and there he proued them,

26. നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ വാക്കു നീ ശ്രദ്ധയോടെ കേട്ടു അവന്നു പ്രസാദമുള്ളതു ചെയ്കയും അവന്റെ കല്പനകളെ അനുസരിച്ചു അവന്റെ സകല വിധികളും പ്രമാണിക്കയും ചെയ്താല് ഞാന് മിസ്രയീമ്യര്ക്കും വരുത്തിയ വ്യാധികളില് ഒന്നും നിനക്കു വരുത്തുകയില്ല; ഞാന് നിന്നെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കുന്ന യഹോവ ആകുന്നു എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

26. And sayd, if thou wilt diligently hearken, O Israel, vnto the voyce of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that, which is right in his sight, and wilt giue eare vnto his commandements, and keepe all his ordinances, then will I put none of these diseases vpon thee, which I brought vpon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.

27. പിന്നെ അവര് ഏലീമില് എത്തി; അവിടെ പന്ത്രണ്ടു നീരുറവും എഴുപതു ഈത്തപ്പനയും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവര് അവിടെ വെള്ളത്തിന്നരികെ പാളയമിറങ്ങി.

27. And they came to Elim, where were twelue fountaines of water, and seuentie palme trees, and they camped thereby the waters.
