1. അമ്മോന്യരെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള അരുളപ്പാടു. യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുയിസ്രായേലിന്നു പുത്രന്മാരില്ലയോ? അവന്നു അവകാശിയില്ലയോ? പിന്നെ മല്ക്കോം ഗാദിനെ കൈവശമാക്കി, അവന്റെ ജനം അതിലെ പട്ടണങ്ങളില് പാര്ക്കുംന്നതെന്തു?

1. Thus saieth ye LORDE off hoostes ye God of Israel against Moab: Wo be to ye cite of Nebo, for it shal be layed waist, brought to confucion and taken. Yee ye stroge cite of Cariatharim shalbe brought to shame, and afrayed:

2. ആകയാല് ഞാന് അമ്മോന്യരുടെ രബ്ബയില് യുദ്ധത്തിന്റെ ആര്പ്പുവിളി കേള്പ്പിക്കുന്ന കാലം വരുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു; അന്നു അതു ശൂന്യമായി കലക്കുന്നാകും; അതിന്റെ പുത്രീനഗരങ്ങളും തീ പിടിച്ചു വെന്തുപോകും; യിസ്രായേല് തന്നേ കൈവശമാക്കിയവരെ കൈവശമാക്കും എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

2. Moab shall nomore be had in honoure: Wicked councell shalbe taken vpon Hesebon. Come (shall they saye) let vs rote them out, that they maye be nomore amonge the nombre of the Gentiles, yee that they maye nomore be thought vpon: Thus the swearde shall persecute ye.

3. ഹെശ്ബോനേ, മുറയിടുക; ഹായി ശൂന്യമായ്പോയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ; രബ്ബയുടെ പുത്രീനഗരങ്ങളേ, നിലവിളിപ്പിന് ; രട്ടുടുത്തുകൊള്വിന് ; വിലപിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു വേലികള്ക്കരികെ ഉഴന്നുനടപ്പിന് ! മല്ക്കോമും അവന്റെ പുരോഹിതന്മാരും പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും എല്ലാം പ്രവാസത്തിലേക്കു പോകും.

3. A voyce shall crie from Horonaim: With greate waistinge and destruction,

4. ആര് എന്റെ നേരെ വരും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു തന്റെ ഭണ്ഡാരങ്ങളില് ആശ്രയിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന വിശ്വാസത്യാഗിനിയായ പുത്രീ, താഴ്വരകളില് നീ പ്രശംസിക്കുന്നതെന്തിന്നു? നിന്റെ താഴ്വരകള് ഒഴുകിപ്പോകുന്നു.

4. is Moab made desolate. And this crie shalbe herde in all hir cities.

5. ഇതാ നിന്റെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള എല്ലാവരാലും ഞാന് നിനക്കു ഭയം വരുത്തും എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു നിങ്ങള് ഔരോരുത്തന് താന്താന്റെ ചൊവ്വിന്നു ചിതറിപ്പോകും; ഉഴന്നുനടക്കുന്നവരെ കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്പ്പാന് ആരും ഉണ്ടാകയില്ല.

5. At the goinge vp vnto Luhtih there shall arise a lametacion: and downe towarde Horonaim, there shall be herde a cruell and a deedly crie:

6. എന്നാല് ഒടുക്കം ഞാന് അമ്മോന്യരുടെ പ്രവാസം മാറ്റും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

6. Get you awaye, saue youre lyues & be like vnto the heeth in ye wildernes

7. എദോമിനെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള അരുളപ്പാടു. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുതേമാനില് ഇനി ജ്ഞാനമില്ലയോ? ആലോചന വിവേകികളെ വിട്ടു നശിച്ചുപോയോ? അവരുടെ ജ്ഞാനം ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോയോ?

7. For, because thou hast trusted in thy stronge holdes and treasure, thou shalt be taken. Chamos with his prestes and prynces shall go awaye in to captiuyte.

8. ദെദാന് നിവാസികളേ, ഔടിപ്പോകുവിന് ; പിന്തിരിഞ്ഞു കുഴികളില് പാര്ത്തുകൊള്വിന് ; ഞാന് ഏശാവിന്റെ ആപത്തു, അവന്റെ ദര്ശനകാലം തന്നേ, അവന്നു വരുത്തും.

8. The destroyer shal come vpon all cities, none shall escape. The valleys shalbe destroyed, and the feldes shall be layed waist: like as the LORDE hath determed.

9. മുന്തിരിപ്പഴം പറിക്കുന്നവര് നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് വന്നാല് കാലാ പറിപ്പാന് ചിലതു ശേഷിപ്പിക്കയില്ലയോ? രാത്രിയില് കള്ളന്മാര് വന്നാല് തങ്ങള്ക്കു മതിയാകുവോളം മാത്രമല്ലോ നശിപ്പിക്കുന്നതു?

9. Make a token vnto Moab, that she get hir awaye spedely: for hir cities shalbe made so desolate, that no man shall dwell therin.

10. എന്നാല് ഏശാവിനെ ഞാന് നഗ്നമാക്കി അവന്റെ ഗൂഢസ്ഥലങ്ങളെ അനാവൃതമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അവന്നു ഒളിച്ചുകൊള്വാന് കഴികയില്ല; അവന്റെ സന്തതിയും സഹോദരന്മാരും അയല്ക്കാരും നശിച്ചുപോയി; അവനും ഇല്ലാതെ ആയിരിക്കുന്നു.

10. Cursed be he that doth the worke of the LORDE necligently, and cursed be he that kepeth backe his swearde from sheddynge off bloude.

11. നിന്റെ അനാഥന്മാരെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്ക; ഞാന് അവരെ ജീവനോടെ രക്ഷിക്കും; നിന്റെ വിധവമാര് എന്നില് ആശ്രയിക്കട്ടെ.

11. Moab hath euer bene rich and carlesse from hir youth vp, she hath sytten and take hir ease with hir treasure. She was neuer yet put out off one vessell in to another (yt is) she neuer wente awaye in to captyuyte, therfore hir taist remayneth, and hir sauoure is not yet chaunged.

12. യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുപാനപാത്രം കുടിപ്പാന് അര്ഹതയില്ലാത്തവര് കുടിക്കേണ്ടിവന്നു; പിന്നെ നിനക്കു ശിക്ഷ വരാതെ പോകുമോ? നിനക്കു ശിക്ഷ വരാതെ പോകയില്ല; നീയും കുടിക്കേണ്ടിവരും.

12. But lo, the tyme commeth (saieth the LORDE) that I shall sende hir trussers to trusse her vp, to prepare and season hir vessels: yee hir tankerdes rattell, and shake to & fro.

13. ബൊസ്രാ സ്തംഭനവും നിന്ദയും ശൂന്യവും ശാപവുമായി ഭവിക്കും; അതിന്റെ എല്ലാപട്ടണങ്ങളും നിത്യശൂന്യങ്ങളായ്തീരും എന്നു ഞാന് എന്നെക്കൊണ്ടു തന്നേ സത്യം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

13. And Moab shalbe ashamed off Chamos, like as Israel was ashamed off Bethel, wherin she put hir trust.

14. നിങ്ങള് ഒരുമിച്ചുകൂടി അതിന്റെ നേരെ ചെല്ലുവിന് ; യുദ്ധത്തിന്നായി എഴുന്നേല്പിന് ! എന്നിങ്ങനെ വിളിച്ചുപറവാന് ഒരു ദൂതനെ ജാതികളുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കു അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നൊരു വര്ത്തമാനം ഞാന് യഹോവയിങ്കല്നിന്നു കേട്ടു.

14. Wherfore do ye thinke thus: we are mightie, and stronge men off warre?

15. ഞാന് നിന്നെ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില് ചെറിയവനും മനുഷ്യരുടെ ഇടയില് നിന്ദിതനും ആക്കും.

15. Moab shalbe destroyed, and hir cities brente vp: hir chosen yonge men shall be slayne, saieth the kinge, whose name is the LORDE off hoostes.

16. പാറപ്പിളര്പ്പുകളില് പാര്ത്തു കുന്നുകളുടെ മുകള് പിടിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നവനേ, നിന്റെ ഭയങ്കരത്വം വിചാരിച്ചാല് നിന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിലെ അഹങ്കാരം നിന്നെ ചതിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ കഴുകനെപ്പോലെ നിന്റെ കൂടു ഉയരത്തില് വെച്ചാലും അവിടെനിന്നു ഞാന് നിന്നെ താഴെ ഇറങ്ങുമാറാക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

16. The destruction off Moab commeth on a pace, and hir fall is at honde.

17. എദോം സ്തംഭനവിഷയമായ്തീരും; അതിന്നരികത്തുകൂടി കടന്നുപോകുന്ന ഏവരും സ്തംഭിച്ചു അതിന്റെ സകലബാധകളും നിമിത്തം ചൂളകുത്തും.

17. All hir neghbours shall mourne for her, and all they that knowe hir name, shal saye: O how happeneth it, that the stronge staff and the goodly rod is thus broken?

18. സൊദോമിന്റെയും ഗൊമോരയുടെയും അവയുടെ അയല്പട്ടണങ്ങളുടെയും ഉന്മൂലനാശശേഷം എന്നപോലെ അവിടെയും ആരും പാര്ക്കയില്ല; ഒരു മനുഷ്യനും അവിടെ വസിക്കയില്ല എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

18. And thou doughter Dibo, come downe from thy glory, and syt in pouerte. For he that destroyeth Moab, shall come vp to the also, and breake downe thy stronge holdes.

19. യോര്ദ്ദാന്റെ വന് കാട്ടില്നിന്നു ഒരു സിംഹം എന്നപോലെ അവന് എപ്പോഴും പച്ചയായിരിക്കുന്ന മേച്ചല്പുറങ്ങളിലേക്കു കയറിവരുന്നു; ഞാന് അവരെ പെട്ടന്നു അതില്നിന്നു ഔടിച്ചുകളയും; ഞാന് തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുന്ന ഒരാളെ അതിന്നു നിയമിക്കും; എനിക്കു സമനായവന് ആര്? എനിക്കു നേരം കുറിക്കുന്നവന് ആര്? എന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നില്ക്കാകുന്ന ഇടയന് ആര്?

19. And thou that dwellest in Aroer, get the to ye strete, & loke aboute the: axe them that are fled and escaped, and saye: what thynge is happened?

20. അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവ എദോമിനെക്കുറിച്ചു ആലോചിച്ച ആലോചനയും തേമാന് നിവാസികളെക്കുറിച്ചു നിരൂപിച്ച നിരൂപണങ്ങളും കേള്പ്പിന് ; ആട്ടിന് കൂട്ടത്തില് ചെറിയവരെ അവര് ഇഴെച്ചുകൊണ്ടുപോകും; അവന് അവരുടെ മേച്ചല്പുറങ്ങളെ അവരോടുകൂടെ ശൂന്യമാക്കും.

20. O, Moab is confounded and ouercome. Mourne and crie, tell it out at Arnon, that Moab is destroyed.

21. അവരുടെ വീഴ്ചയുടെ മുഴക്കത്തിങ്കല് ഭൂമി നടുങ്ങുന്നു; ഒരു നിലവിളി; അതിന്റെ ഒച്ച ചെങ്കടലില് കേള്ക്കുന്നു!

21. And mysery shall come vpon the playne londe: Namely, vpo holon, and Iaza: vpon Mephat

22. അവന് കഴുകനെപ്പോലെ പൊങ്ങി പറന്നു വന്നു ബൊസ്രയുടെമേല് ചിറകു വിടര്ക്കും; അന്നാളില് എദോമിലെ വീരന്മാരുടെ ഹൃദയം നോവുകിട്ടിയ സ്ത്രീയുടെ ഹൃദയം പോലെയാകും.

22. and Dibo, vpon Nebo and the house of Diplathaim,

23. ദമ്മേശെക്കിനെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള അരുളപ്പാടു. ഹമാത്തും അര്പ്പാദും ദോഷവര്ത്തമാനം കേട്ടതു കൊണ്ടു ലജ്ജിച്ചു ഉരുകിപ്പോയിരിക്കുന്നു; കടല്വരെ ദുഃഖം വ്യാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അതിന്നു അടങ്ങിയിരിപ്പാന് കഴിവില്ല.

23. vpon Cariatharim and Bethgamul, vpon Bethmaon

24. ദമ്മേശെക് ക്ഷീണിച്ചു ഔടിപ്പോകുവാന് തിരിയുന്നു; നടുക്കം അതിന്നു പിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; നോവു കിട്ടിയ സ്ത്രീക്കു എന്നപോലെ അതിന്നു അതിവ്യസനവും വേദനയും പിടിപെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

24. and Carioth, vpon Bosra and all the cities in the lode off Moab, whether they lye farre or neare.

25. കീര്ത്തിയുള്ള പട്ടണം എന്റെ ആനന്ദപുരം ഉപേക്ഷിക്കാതിരിക്കുന്നതെങ്ങനെ?

25. The horne of Moab shal be smytte downe, & hir arme broken, saieth the LORDE.

26. അതുകൊണ്ടു അതിലെ യൌവനക്കാര് അതിന്റെ വീഥികളില് വീഴുകയും സകലയോദ്ധാക്കളും അന്നു നശിച്ചുപോകയും ചെയ്യും എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

26. Make hir dronken (for she magnified hirself aboue the LORDE:) that men maye clappe their hondes at hir vomyte, and that she also maye be laughed to scorne.

27. ഞാന് ദമ്മേശെക്കിന്റെ മതിലുകള്ക്കു തീവേക്കും; അതു ബെന് -ഹദദിന്റെ അരമനകളെ ദഹിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും.

27. O Israell, shalt thou not laugh him to scorne, when he is taken amoge theues? Yee because off thy wordes that thou hast spoken agaynst him, thou shalt be dryuen awaye.

28. ബാബേല്രാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ്നേസര് ജയിച്ചടക്കിയ കേദാരിനെയും ഹാസോര്രാജ്യങ്ങളെയും കുറിച്ചുള്ള അരുളപ്പാടു. യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുനിങ്ങള് പുറപ്പെട്ടു കേദാരില് ചെന്നു കിഴക്കരെ നശിപ്പിച്ചുകളവിന് .

28. Ye Moabites shal leaue the cities, and dwell in rockes off stone, and become like doues, that make their nestes in holes.

29. അവരുടെ കൂടാരങ്ങളെയും ആട്ടിന് കൂട്ടങ്ങളെയും അവര് അപഹരിക്കും; അവരുടെ തിരശ്ശീലകളെയും സകലഉപകരണങ്ങളെയും ഒട്ടകങ്ങളെയും അവര് കൊണ്ടുപോകും; സര്വ്വത്രഭീതി എന്നു അവര് അവരോടു വിളിച്ചുപറയും.

29. As for Moabs pryde, we haue herde off it, she is very hie mynded. I knowe hir stoutnesse, hir boostinge, hir arogacy and the pryde off hir stomack, saieth the LORDE.

30. ഹാസോര്നിവാസികളേ, ഔടിപ്പോകുവിന് ; അതിദൂരത്തു ചെന്നു കുഴിയില് പാര്ത്തുകൊള്വിന് എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു; ബാബേല്രാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ്നേസര് നിങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു ഒരു ആലേചന ആലോചിച്ചു ഒരു നിരൂപണം നിരൂപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

30. For hir furiousnes maye nether vpholde her wt strength, ner dede.

31. വാതിലുകളും ഔടാമ്പലുകളും എല്ലാതെ തനിച്ചു പാര്ക്കുംന്നവരും സ്വൈരവും നിര്ഭയവുമായി വസിക്കുന്നവരുമായ ജാതിയുടെ അടുക്കല് പുറപ്പെട്ടു ചെല്ലുവിന് എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

31. Therfore shal there mournynge be made for Moab, and euery ma shal crie for Moabs sake: a lamentacion shalbe made, to the men that stonde vpon the wall.

32. അവരുടെ ഒട്ടകങ്ങള് കവര്ച്ചയും അവരുടെ കന്നുകാലിക്കൂട്ടങ്ങള് കൊള്ളയും ആയിത്തീരും; തലയുടെ അരികു വടിച്ചുവരെ ഞാന് എല്ലാകാറ്റുകളിലേക്കും ചിന്നിച്ചുകളകയും നാലു പുറത്തുനിന്നും അവര്ക്കും ആപത്തു വരുത്തുകയും ചെയ്യും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

32. So will I mourne for the also (o Iazer) and for the, O thou vynyarde off Sybma. Thy wyne brauches shal come ouer ye see, and the braunches off Iazer but vnto the see: the destroyer shall breake in to thy haruest and grape gatheringe.

33. ഹാസോര് കുറുനരികളുടെ പാര്പ്പിടവും നിത്യശൂന്യവും ആയിത്തീരും; ആരും അവിടെ പാര്ക്കയില്ല; ഒരു മനുഷ്യനും അവിടെ വസിക്കയുമില്ല.

33. Myrth and cheare shalbe taken awaye from the tymbre felde, and from the whole londe off Moab. There shall be no swete wyne in the presse, the treader shall haue no stomacke to crie, yee there shall be none to crie vnto him:

34. യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ സിദെക്കീയാവിന്റെ വാഴ്ചയുടെ ആരംഭത്തിങ്കല് ഏലാമിനെക്കുറിച്ചു യിരെമ്യാപ്രവാചകന്നുണ്ടായ അരുളപ്പാടു എന്തെന്നാല്

34. which afore tyme were herde from hesebon to Eleale and Ioaz, which lifted vp their voyce from Zoar vnto Horonaim, that bullock off thre yeare olde. The waters also off Nemrim shalbe dried vp.

35. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന് ഏലാമിന്റെ മുഖ്യബലമായ അവരുടെ വില്ലു ഒടിച്ചുകളയും.

35. Morouer I will make Moab ceasse (saieth the LORDE) from the offringes and censinge that she hath made vnto hir goddes in hie places.

36. ഞാന് ഏലാമിന്റെ നേരെ ആകാശത്തിന്റെ നാലു ദിക്കില്നിന്നും നാലു കാറ്റുവരുത്തി ഈ എല്ലാകാറ്റുകളിലേക്കും അവരെ ചിന്നിച്ചുകളയും; ഏലാമിന്റെ ഭ്രഷ്ടന്മാര് ചെല്ലാത്ത ഒരു ജാതികയും ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കയില്ല.

36. Wherfore my herte mourneth for Moab, like a crowde playenge an heuy songe: and for the mens sake off the bricke wall my herte mourneth also, euen as a pype, that pipeth a dolefull songe: for they shalbe very fewe, and destroyed.

37. ഞാന് ഏലാമ്യരെ അവരുടെ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ മുമ്പിലും അവര്ക്കും പ്രാണഹാനി വരുത്തുവാന് നോക്കുന്നവരുടെ മുമ്പിലും ഭ്രമിപ്പിക്കും; ഞാന് അവര്ക്കും അനര്ത്ഥം, എന്റെ ഉഗ്രകോപം തന്നേ, വരുത്തും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു ഞാന് അവരുടെ പിന്നാലെ വാള് അയച്ചു അവരെ മുടിച്ചുകളയും.

37. All heades shall be shauen, and all beerdes clipped off: all hondes bounde, and all loynes gyrded aboute with sack cloth.

38. ഞാന് എന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തെ ഏലാമില് സ്ഥാപിച്ചു അവിടെ നിന്നു രാജാവിനെയും പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെയും നശിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

38. Vpo all the house toppes and stretes off Moab, there shalbe mournynge: For I will breake Moab like an vnprofitable vessell saieh the LORDE

39. എന്നാല് ഒടുക്കം ഞാന് ഏലാമിന്റെ പ്രവാസം മാറ്റും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

39. O how fearfull is she? O how mourneth she? O how doth Moab hange downe hir heade, and is ashamed? Thus shall Moab be a laughinge stocke, and had in derision off all them, that be rounde aboute her.
