1. യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

1. The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as follows,

2. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ യെരൂശലേമിനോടു അതിന്റെ മ്ളേച്ഛതകളെ അറിയിച്ചു പറയേണ്ടതു;

2. 'Son of man, confront Jerusalem with her loathsome practices!

3. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു യെരൂശലേമിനോടു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുനിന്റെ ഉല്പത്തിയും നിന്റെ ജനനവും കനാന് ദേശത്താകുന്നു; നിന്റെ അപ്പന് അമോര്യ്യനും അമ്മ ഹിത്യസ്ത്രീയും അത്രേ.

3. Say, 'The Lord Yahweh says this: By origin and birth you belong to the land of Canaan. Your father was an Amorite and your mother a Hittite.

4. നിന്റെ ജനനവസ്തുതയോ--ജനിച്ചനാളില് നിന്റെ പൊക്കിള് മുറിച്ചില്ല; നിന്നെ വെള്ളത്തില് കുളിപ്പിച്ചു വെടിപ്പാക്കിയില്ല; ഉപ്പു തേച്ചില്ല, തുണി ചുറ്റിയതുമില്ല.

4. At birth, the very day you were born, there was no one to cut your navel-string, or wash you in water to clean you, or rub you with salt, or wrap you in swaddling clothes.

5. നിന്നോടു മനസ്സലിവു തോന്നീട്ടു ഇവയില് ഒന്നെങ്കിലും നിനക്കു ചെയ്തുതരുവാന് ഒരു കണ്ണിന്നും നിന്നോടു കനിവുണ്ടായില്ല; നീ ജനിച്ചനാളില് തന്നേ അവര്ക്കും നിന്നോടു വെറുപ്പുതോന്നിയതുകൊണ്ടു നിന്നെ വെളിന് പ്രദേശത്തു ഇട്ടുകളഞ്ഞു.

5. No one looked at you with pity enough to do any of these things out of sympathy for you. You were exposed in the open fields in your own dirt on the day you were born.

6. എന്നാല് ഞാന് നിന്റെ സമീപത്തു കൂടി കടന്നുപോകുമ്പോള് നീ രക്തത്തില് കിടന്നുരുളുന്നതു കണ്ടു നിന്നോടുനീ രക്തത്തില് കിടക്കുന്നു എങ്കിലും ജീവിക്ക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു; അതേ, നീ രക്തത്തില് കിടക്കുന്നു എങ്കിലും ജീവിക്ക എന്നു ഞാന് നിന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചു.

6. 'I saw you kicking on the ground in your blood as I was passing, and I said to you as you lay in your blood: Live!

7. വയലിലെ സസ്യംപോലെ ഞാന് നിന്നെ പെരുമാറാക്കി; നീ വളര്ന്നു വലിയ വളായി അതിസൌന്ദര്യം പ്രാപിച്ചു; നിനക്കു ഉന്നതസ്തനവും ദീര്ഘകേശവും ഉണ്ടായി; എങ്കിലും നീ നഗ്നയും അനാവൃതയും ആയിരുന്നു.

7. and I made you grow like the grass of the fields. You developed, you grew, you reached marriageable age. Your breasts became firm and your hair grew richly, but you were stark naked.

8. ഞാന് നിന്റെ അരികെ കൂടി കടന്നു നിന്നെ നോക്കിയപ്പോള് നിനക്കു പ്രേമത്തിന്റെ സമയമായി എന്നു കണ്ടിട്ടു എന്റെ വസ്ത്രം നിന്റെമേല് വിരിച്ചു നിന്റെ നഗ്നത മറെച്ചു; ഞാന് നിന്നോടു സത്യവും നിയമവും ചെയ്തു നീ എനിക്കുള്ളവള് ആയിത്തീര്ന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

8. Then I saw you as I was passing. Your time had come, the time for love. I spread my cloak over you and covered your nakedness; I gave you my oath, I made a covenant with you -- declares the Lord Yahweh -- and you became mine.

9. പിന്നെ ഞാന് നിന്നെ വെള്ളത്തില് കുളിപ്പിച്ചു രക്തം കഴുകിക്കളഞ്ഞു എണ്ണപൂശി.

9. I bathed you in water, I washed the blood off you, I anointed you with oil.

10. ഞാന് നിന്നെ വിചിത്രവസ്ത്രം ധരിപ്പിച്ചു, തഹശുതോല്കൊണ്ടുള്ള ചെരിപ്പിടുവിച്ചു, ശണപടംകൊണ്ടു ചുറ്റി പട്ടു പുതെപ്പിച്ചു.

10. I gave you embroidered dresses, fine leather shoes, a linen headband and a cloak of silk.

11. ഞാന് നിന്നെ ആഭരണം അണിയിച്ചു നിന്റെ കൈകൂ വളയും കഴുത്തില് മാലയും ഇട്ടു.

11. I loaded you with jewels, gave you bracelets for your wrists and a necklace for your throat.

12. ഞാന് നിന്റെ മൂക്കിന്നു മൂകൂത്തിയും കാതില് കുണുക്കും ഇട്ടു, തലയില് ഭംഗിയുള്ളോരു കിരീടവും വെച്ചു.

12. I gave you nose-ring and earrings; I put a beautiful diadem on your head.

13. ഇങ്ങനെ നീ പൊന്നും വെള്ളിയും അണിഞ്ഞു; നിന്റെ ഉടുപ്പു ശണപടവും പട്ടും വിചിത്രവസ്ത്രവും ആയിരുന്നു; നീ നേരിയ മാവം തേനും എണ്ണയും ഉപജീവിച്ചു ഏറ്റവും സൌന്ദര്യമുള്ളവളായിത്തീര്ന്നു; നിനക്കു രാജത്വവും സിദ്ധിച്ചു.

13. You were loaded with gold and silver and dressed in linen and silk and brocade. Your food was the finest flour, honey and oil. You grew more and more beautiful; and you rose to be queen.

14. ഞാന് നിന്നെ അണിയിച്ച അലങ്കാരംകൊണ്ടു നിന്റെ സൌന്ദര്യം പരിപൂര്ണ്ണമായതിനാല് നിന്റെ കീര്ത്തി ജാതികളില് പരന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

14. The fame of your beauty spread through the nations, since it was perfect, because I had clothed you with my own splendour -- declares the Lord Yahweh.

15. എന്നാല് നീ നിന്റെ സൌന്ദര്യത്തില് ആശ്രയിച്ചു, നിന്റെ കീര്ത്തിഹേതുവായി പരസംഗം ചെയ്തു, വഴിപോകുന്ന ഏവന്റെമേലും നിന്റെ പരസംഗം ചെലവഴിച്ചു; അതു അവന്നുള്ളതായിരുന്നു.

15. 'But you became infatuated with your own beauty and used your fame to play the whore, lavishing your debauchery on all comers.

16. നിന്റെ വസ്ത്രങ്ങളില് ചിലതു നീ എടുത്തു, പല നിറത്തില് പൂജാഗിരികളെ തീര്ത്തലങ്കരിച്ചു, അവയുടെമേല് പരസംഗം ചെയ്തു; ഈവക സംഭവിച്ചിട്ടില്ല, സംഭവിക്കയും ഇല്ല.

16. You took some of your clothes to make for yourself high places bright with colours and there you played the whore.

17. ഞാന് നിനക്കു തന്ന പൊന്നും വെള്ളിയുംകൊണ്ടുള്ള ആഭരണങ്ങളെ നീ എടുത്തു, പുരുഷരൂപങ്ങളെ ഉണ്ടാക്കി അവയോടു പരസംഗം ചെയ്തു.

17. You also took your jewellery, made with my gold and silver which I had given you, and made yourself male images to serve your whorings.

18. നിന്റെ വിചിത്രവസ്ത്രങ്ങളെ നീ എടുത്തു അവയെ പുതപ്പിച്ചു, എന്റെ എണ്ണയും കുന്തുരുക്കവും അവയുടെ മുമ്പില് വെച്ചു.

18. You took your embroidered clothes and used these to dress them up, and you offered them my oil and my incense.

19. ഞാന് നിനക്കു തന്ന ആഹാരമായി, നിന്റെ പോഷണത്തിന്നുള്ള നേരിയ മാവും എണ്ണയും തേനും നീ അവയുടെ മുമ്പില് സൌരഭ്യവാസനയായി നിവേദിച്ചു; കാര്യം ഇങ്ങനെയായി എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

19. And the bread I gave you, the finest flour, the oil and honey with which I fed you, you offered them as a pleasing smell. 'What is more -- declares the Lord Yahweh-

20. നീ എനിക്കു പ്രസവിച്ച നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും നീ എടുത്തു അവേക്കു ഭോജനബലിയായി അര്പ്പിച്ചു.

20. you took the sons and daughters you had borne me and sacrificed them as food to the images. Was not your whoring enough in itself,

21. നിന്റെ പരസംഗം പോരാഞ്ഞിട്ടോ നീ എന്റെ മക്കളെ അറുത്തു അഗ്നിപ്രവേശം ചെയ്യിച്ചു അവേക്കു ഏല്പിച്ചുകൊടുത്തതു?

21. for you to slaughter my children and hand them over to be burnt in their honour?

22. എന്നാല് നിന്റെ സകല മ്ളേച്ഛതകളിലും പരസംഗങ്ങളിലും നീ മുമ്പെ നഗ്നയും അനാവൃതയും ആയി രക്തത്തില് കിടന്നുരുണ്ട നിന്റെ യൌവനകാലം ഔര്ത്തില്ല.

22. And in all your loathsome practices and your whorings you never called your early days to mind, when you were stark naked, kicking on the ground in your own blood.

23. നിന്റെ ദുഷ്ടതയൊക്കെയും പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചശേഷമോ--നിനക്കുകഷ്ടം, കഷ്ടം! എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു--

23. 'To crown your wickedness -- disaster upon you, disaster! declares the Lord Yahweh-

24. നീ ഒരു കമാനം പണിതു, സകല വീഥിയിലും ഔരോ പൂജാഗിരി ഉണ്ടാക്കി.

24. you built yourself a mound and made yourself a high place in every open space.

25. എല്ലാ വഴിത്തലക്കലും പൂജാഗിരി പണിതു, നീ നിന്റെ സൌന്ദര്യത്തെ വഷളാക്കി, വഴി പോകുന്ന ഏവന്നും നിന്റെ കാലുകളെ അകത്തി നിന്റെ പരസംഗം വര്ദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചു.

25. At the entry to every alley you made yourself a high place, defiling your beauty and opening your legs to all comers in countless acts of fornication.

26. മാംസപുഷ്ടിയുള്ള മിസ്രയീമ്യരായ നിന്റെ അയല്ക്കാരോടും നീ പരസംഗംചെയ്തു, എന്നെ കോപിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിന്റെ പരസംഗം വര്ദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചു.

26. You have also fornicated with your big-membered neighbours, the Egyptians, provoking my anger with further acts of fornication.

27. അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് നിന്റെ നേരെ കൈ നീട്ടി, നിന്റെ നിത്യച്ചെലവു കുറെച്ചു, നിന്നെ ദ്വേഷിക്കയും നിന്റെ ദുര്മ്മാര്ഗ്ഗത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു ലജ്ജിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ഫെലിസ്ത്യ പുത്രിമാരുടെ ഇഷ്ടത്തിന്നു നിന്നെ ഏല്പിച്ചു.

27. So now I have raised my hand against you, I have cut down on your food, I have put you at the mercy of your enemies, the Philistine women, who blush at your lewd behaviour.

28. മതിവാരത്തവളാകയാല് നീ അശ്ശൂര്യ്യരോടും പരസംഗം ചെയ്തു; അവരുമായി പരസംഗം ചെയ്തിട്ടും നിനക്കു തൃപ്തിവന്നില്ല.

28. Still unsatisfied, you prostituted yourself to the Assyrians; you played the whore with them, but were not satisfied even then.

29. നീ കനാന് ദേശത്തും കല്ദയദേശംവരെയും നിന്റെ പരസംഗം വര്ദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചു; എന്നിട്ടും അതിനാലും നിനക്കു തൃപ്തിവന്നില്ല.

29. You committed further acts of fornication in the country of merchants, with the Chaldaeans, and these did not satisfy you either.

30. നാണം കെട്ട വേശ്യയുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിയായിരിക്കുന്ന ഇതൊക്കെയും ചെയ്തതില്, നീ എല്ലാവഴിത്തലെക്കലും കമാനം പണിതു, സമലവീഥിയിലും പൂജാഗിരി ഉണ്ടാക്കിയതില്,

30. 'How simple-minded you are!-declares the Lord Yahweh -- for although you do all the things that a professional prostitute would,

31. നിന്റെ ഹൃദയം എത്ര മാരമാല് പൂണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു; നീ കൂലി നിരസിക്കുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു വേശ്യയെപ്പോലെയല്ല.

31. in building a mound and making yourself a high place in every street, you do not act like a proper prostitute because you disdain to take a fee.

32. ഭര്ത്താവിന്നു പകരം അന്യന്മാരെ പരിഗ്രഹിച്ചു വ്യഭിചാരം ചെയ്യുന്ന സ്ത്രീയേ!

32. An adulteress welcomes strangers instead of her husband.

33. സകല വേശ്യാസ്ത്രീകളും സമ്മാനം വാങ്ങുന്നു; നീയോ നിന്റെ സകലജാരന്മാര്ക്കും സമ്മാനം നലകുകയും നീയുമായി പരസംഗം ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു നാലുപുറത്തുനിന്നും നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് വരുവാന് അവര്ക്കും കൈക്കൂലി കൊടുക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

33. All prostitutes accept presents, but you give presents to all your lovers, you bribe them to come from all over the place to fornicate with you!

34. നിന്റെ പരസംഗത്തില് നിനക്കു മറ്റു സ്ത്രീകളുമായി ഒരു വൈപരീത്യം ഉണ്ടു; നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് പരസംഗത്തിന്നു ആരും വരുന്നില്ല; നീ സമ്മാനം വാങ്ങുകയല്ല, സമ്മാനം കൊടുക്കുകയത്രേ ചെയ്യുന്നതു; അതിലാകുന്നു വൈപരീത്യം ഉള്ളതു.

34. In fornicating, you are the opposite of other women, since no one runs after you to fornicate with you; since you give the fee and do not get one, you are the very opposite!

35. ആകയാല് വേശ്യാസ്ത്രീയേ, യഹോവയുടെ വചനം കേള്ക്ക.

35. 'Very well, whore, hear the word of Yahweh!

36. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുജാരന്മാരുമായുള്ള നിന്റെ പരസംഗങ്ങളാല് നിന്റെ പണം ചെലവഴിക്കയും നിന്റെ നഗന്ത അനാവൃതമാകയും ചെയ്കകൊണ്ടു നിന്റെ സകലമ്ളേച്ഛ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളും നിമിത്തവും നീ അവേക്കു കൊടുത്ത നിന്റെ മക്കളുടെ രക്തംനിമിത്തവും

36. The Lord Yahweh says this: For having squandered your money and let yourself be seen naked while whoring with your lovers and all the foul idols of your loathsome practices and for giving them your children's blood-

37. നീ രമിച്ച നിന്റെ സകലജാരന്മാരെയും നീ സ്നേഹിച്ച ഏവരെയും നീ പകെച്ച ഏവരെയും ഞാന് കൂട്ടിവരുത്തും; ഞാന് അവരെ നിനക്കു വിരോധമായി ചുറ്റും കൂട്ടിവരുത്തി, അവര് നിന്റെ നഗ്നത ഒക്കെയും കാണത്തക്കവണ്ണം നിന്റെ നഗ്നത അവരുടെ മുമ്പില് അനാവൃതമാക്കും.

37. for all this, I shall assemble all the lovers to whom you have given pleasure, all the ones you liked and also all the ones you disliked; yes, I shall assemble them round you and strip you naked in front of them, and let them see you naked from head to foot.

38. വ്യഭിചരിക്കയും രക്തം ചിന്നുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന സ്ത്രീകളെ വിധിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ഞാന് നിന്നെ ന്യായം വിധിച്ചു ക്രോധത്തിന്റെയും ജാരശങ്കയുടെയും രക്തം നിന്റെ മേല് ചൊരിയും

38. I shall pass on you the sentence that adulteresses and murderesses receive; I shall hand you over to their jealous fury;

39. ഞാന് നിന്നെ അവരുടെ കയ്യില് ഏല്പിക്കും; അവര് നിന്റെ കമാനം പൊളിച്ചു, നിന്റെ പൂജാഗിരികളെ ഇടിച്ചുകളയും അവര് നിന്റെ വസ്ത്രം അഴിച്ചു ആഭരണങ്ങളെ എടുത്തു, നിന്നെ നഗ്നയും അനാവൃതയും ആക്കിവിടും.

39. I shall hand you over to them; they will destroy your mound and pull down your high place; they will tear off your clothes, take away your jewels and leave you stark naked.

40. അവര് നിനക്കു വിരോധമായി ഒരു സഭയെ കൂട്ടിവരുത്തി നിന്നെ കല്ലെറിഞ്ഞു വാള്കൊണ്ടു വെട്ടിക്കളയും.

40. Then they will call an assembly of citizens to deal with you, who will stone you to death and hack you to pieces with their swords,

41. അവര് നിന്റെ വീടുകളെ തീവെച്ചു ചുട്ടുകളയും; അനേകം സ്ത്രീകള് കാണ്കെ നിന്റെമേല് ന്യായവിധി നടത്തും; നിന്റെ പരസംഗം ഞാന് നിര്ത്തലാക്കും; നീ ഇനി ആര്ക്കും കൂലി കൊടുക്കയില്ല.

41. and burn down your premises and execute justice on you, while many other women look on; and I shall put an end to your whoring: no more paid lovers for you!

42. ഇങ്ങനെ ഞാന് എന്റെ ക്രോധം നിന്നില് നിവര്ത്തിച്ചിട്ടു എന്റെ തീക്ഷണത നിന്നെ വിട്ടുമാറും; പിന്നെ ഞാന് കോപിക്കാതെ അടങ്ങിയിരിക്കും.

42. Once my fury is exhausted with you, then my jealousy will leave you; I shall be calm and not angry any more.

43. നീ നിന്റെ യൌവനകാലം ഔര്ക്കാതെ ഇവയാല് ഒക്കെയും എന്നെ കോപിപ്പിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു, ഞാനും നിന്റെ നടപ്പിന്നു തക്കവണ്ണം നിനക്കു പകരം ചെയ്യും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു; നിന്റെ സകലമ്ളേച്ഛതകള്ക്കും പുറമെ നീ ഈ ദുഷ്കര്മ്മവും ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ലയോ.

43. Since you never called to mind your early days and have done nothing but provoke me, now I in my turn shall bring your conduct down on your own head -- declares the Lord Yahweh! 'Have you not added this lewd behaviour to your other loathsome practices?

44. പഴഞ്ചൊല്ലു പറയുന്നവനൊക്കെയുംയഥാമാതാതഥാപുത്രീ എന്നുള്ള പഴഞ്ചൊല്ലു നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു പറയും.

44. So now all dealers in proverbs will apply this one to you: Like mother, like daughter.

45. നീ ഭര്ത്താവിനെയും മക്കളെയും വെറുക്കുന്ന അമ്മയുടെ മകളും ഭര്ത്താക്കന്മാരെയും മക്കളെയും വെറുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന സഹോദരിമാര്ക്കും നീ സഹോദരിയുമാകുന്നു; നിങ്ങളുടെ അമ്മ ഹിത്യസ്ത്രീയും അപ്പന് അമോര്യ്യനും അത്രേ.

45. Yes; you are a true daughter of your mother, who hated her husband and her children; you are a true sister of your sisters, who hated their husbands and their children. Your mother was a Hittite and your father an Amorite.

46. നിന്റെ ജ്യേഷ്ഠത്തി നിന്റെ ഇടത്തുഭാഗത്തു തന്റെ പുത്രിമാരുമായി പാര്ക്കുംന്ന ശമര്യ്യ; നിന്റെ അനുജത്തി നിന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു തന്റെ പുത്രിമാരുമായി പാര്ക്കുംന്ന സൊദോം.

46. Your elder sister is Samaria, who lives to the north of you with her daughters. Your younger sister is Sodom, who lives to the south of you with her daughters.

47. നീ അവരുടെ വഴികളില് നടന്നില്ല; അവരുടെ മ്ളേച്ഛതകള്പോലെ ചെയ്തില്ല; അതു പോരാ എന്നുവെച്ചു നീ നിന്റെ എല്ലാവഴികളിലും അവരെക്കാള് അധികം വഷളത്വം പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചു.

47. You never failed to imitate their behaviour and copy their loathsome practices, and soon your behaviour was more corrupt than theirs was.

48. എന്നാണ, നീയും നിന്റെ പുത്രിമാരും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ നിന്റെ സഹോദരിയായ സൊദോമും അവളുടെ പുത്രിമാരും ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

48. As I live -- declares the Lord Yahweh -- your sister Sodom and her daughters never did what you and your daughters have done.

49. നിന്റെ സഹോദരിയായ സൊദോമിന്റെ അകൃത്യമോഗര്വ്വവും തീന് പുളെപ്പും നിര്ഭയസ്വൈരവും അവള്ക്കും അവളുടെ പുത്രിമാര്ക്കും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; എളിയവനെയും ദരിദ്രനെയും അവള് സഹായിച്ചതുമില്ല.

49. The crime of your sister Sodom was pride, gluttony, calm complacency; such were hers and her daughters' crimes. They never helped the poor and needy;

50. അവര് അഹങ്കാരികളായി എന്റെ മുമ്പില് മ്ളേച്ഛത ചെയ്തു; അതുകൊണ്ടു എനിക്കു ബോധിച്ചതുപോലെ ഞാന് അവരെ നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു.

50. they were proud, and engaged in loathsome practices before me, and so I swept them away as you have seen.

51. ശമര്യ്യയും നിന്റെ പാപങ്ങളില് പാതിയോളം ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല; നീ അവരെക്കാള് നിന്റെ മ്ളേച്ഛതകളെ വര്ദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചു, നീ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്ന സകലമ്ളേച്ഛതകളാലും നിന്റെ സഹോദരിമാരെ നീതീകരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

51. And yet Samaria never committed half the crimes that you have. 'You have done more loathsome things than they have. By all your loathsome practices you have made your sisters seem innocent,

52. സഹോദരിമാരെ ന്യായം വിധിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന നീയും നിന്റെ ലജ്ജ വഹിക്ക; നീ അവരെക്കാള് അധികം മ്ളേച്ഛതയായി പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചരിക്കുന്ന നിന്റെ പാപങ്ങളാല് അവര് നിന്നെക്കാള് നീതിയുള്ളവരല്ലോ; അതേ, നീ നിന്റെ സഹോദരിമാരെ നീതീകരിച്ചതില് നാണിച്ചു നിന്റെ ലജ്ജ വഹിച്ചുകൊള്ക.

52. and now you bear the shame of which you have freed your sisters; since the sins which you have committed are more revolting than theirs, they are more upright than you are. So now, bear the disgrace and shame of having put your sisters in the right.

53. നീ അവര്ക്കും ആശ്വാസമായി നിന്റെ ലജ്ജ വഹിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും നീ ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ള എല്ലാവറ്റെയും കുറിച്ചു ലജ്ജിക്കേണ്ടതിനും

53. 'I shall restore their fortunes, I shall restore Sodom and her daughters, I shall re- store Samaria and her daughters, and then I shall restore your fortune with theirs,

54. ഞാന് സൊദോമിന്റെയും അവളുടെ പുത്രിമാരുടെയും സ്ഥിതിയും ശമര്യ്യയുടെയും അവളുടെ പുത്രിമാരുടെയും സ്ഥിതിയും അവരുടെ നടുവില് ഉള്ള നിന്റെ പ്രവാസികളുടെ സ്ഥിതിയും മാറ്റും.

54. so that you can bear your shame and disgrace for all you have done, and so console them.

55. നിന്റെ സഹോദരിയായ സൊദോമും അവളുടെ പുത്രിമാരും തങ്ങളുടെ പൂര്വ്വാവസ്ഥയിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിവരും; ശമര്യ്യവും അവളുടെ പുത്രിമാരും തങ്ങളുടെ പൂര്വ്വാവസ്ഥയിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിവരും; നീയും നിന്റെ പുത്രിമാരും നിങ്ങളുടെ പൂര്വ്വാവസ്ഥയിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിവരും.

55. When your sisters, Sodom and her daughters, are restored to what they were, and Samaria and her daughters are restored to what they were, then you too and your daughters will be restored to what you were.

56. അരാമിന്റെ പുത്രിമാരും അവളുടെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ളവരൊക്കെയും നിന്റെ ചുറ്റും നിന്നു നിന്നെ നിന്ദിക്കുന്ന ഫെലിസ്ത്യപുത്രിമാരും നിന്നെ നിന്ദിച്ച കാലത്തു എന്നപോലെ നിന്റെ ദുഷ്ടത വെളിപ്പെടുന്നതിന്നു മുമ്പെ

56. Did you not gloat over your sister Sodom when you were so proud,

57. നിന്റെ ഗര്വ്വത്തിന്റെ നാളില് നിന്റെ സഹോദരിയായ സൊദോമിന്റെ പേരുപോലും നീ ഉച്ചരിച്ചിട്ടില്ല.

57. before you were stripped naked? Like her, you are now the laughing-stock of the women of Edom, of all the women round, of the women of Philistia, who pour out their contempt on you.

58. നിന്റെ ദുഷ്കര്മ്മവും നിന്റെ മ്ളേച്ഛതകളും നീ വഹിക്കുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

58. You have brought this on yourself, with your lewdness and your loathsome practices -- declares the Lord Yahweh.

59. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുനിയമം ലംഘിച്ചു സത്യം തുച്ഛീകരിക്കുന്ന നീ ചെയ്തതുപോലെ ഞാന് നിന്നോടും ചെയ്യും.

59. 'For the Lord Yahweh says this: I shall treat you as you have deserved for making light of an oath and breaking a covenant,

60. എങ്കിലും നിന്റെ യൌവനകാലത്തു നിന്നോടുള്ള എന്റെ നിയമം ഞാന് ഔര്ത്തു ഒരു ശാശ്വതനിയമം നിന്നോടു ചെയ്യും.

60. but I shall remember my covenant with you when you were a girl and shall conclude a covenant with you that will last for ever.

61. നിന്റെ ജ്യേഷ്ഠത്തിമാരും അനുജത്തിമാരുമായ സഹോദരിമാരെ നീ കൈക്കൊള്ളുമ്പോള്, അന്നു നീ നിന്റെ വഴികളെ ഔര്ത്തു നാണിക്കും; ഞാന് അവരെ നിനക്കു പുത്രിമാരായി തരും; നിന്റെ നിയമപ്രകാരമല്ലതാനും.
റോമർ 6:21

61. And you for your part will remember your behaviour and feel ashamed of it when you receive your elder and younger sisters and I make them your daughters, although this is not included in my covenant with you.

62. നീ ചെയ്തതൊക്കെയും ഞാന് നിന്നോടു ക്ഷമിക്കുമ്പോള് നീ ഔര്ത്തു ലജ്ജിച്ചു നാണംനിമിത്തം ഇനി ഒരിക്കലും വായ് തുറക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു

62. I shall renew my covenant with you; and you will know that I am Yahweh,

63. ഞാന് നിന്നോടു എന്റെ നിയമം ചെയ്യും; ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു നീ അറിയും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

63. and so remember and feel ashamed and in your confusion be reduced to silence, when I forgive you for everything you have done -- declares the Lord Yahweh.' '
