1. യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുമോവാബിന്റെ മൂന്നോ നാലോ അതിക്രമം നിമിത്തം അവന് എദോംരാജാവിന്റെ അസ്ഥികളെ ചുട്ടു കുമ്മായമാക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞിരിക്കയാല് തന്നെ, ഞാന് ശിക്ഷ മടക്കിക്കളകയില്ല.

1. Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Moab, and for four, I will not turn away [its punishment]; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime:

2. ഞാന് മോവാബില് ഒരു തീ അയക്കും; അതു കെരീയോത്തിന്റെ അരമനകളെ ദഹിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും; മോവാബ് കലഹത്തോടും ആര്പ്പോടും കാഹളനാദത്തോടും കൂടെ മരിക്കും.

2. But I will send a fire upon Moab, and it shall devour the palaces of Kerioth: and Moab shall die with tumult, with shouting, [and] with the sound of the trumpet:

3. ഞാന് ന്യായാധിപതിയെ അതിന്റെ നടുവില്നിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചു, അതിന്റെ സകലപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെയും അവനോടുകൂടെ കൊല്ലും എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

3. And I will cut off the judge from the midst of it and will slay all its princes with him, saith the LORD.

4. യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുയെഹൂദയുടെ മൂന്നോ നാലോ അതിക്രമംനിമിത്തം, അവര് യഹോവയുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തെ നിരസിക്കയും അവന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ പ്രമാണിക്കാതെയിരിക്കയും അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാര് പിന്തുടര്ന്നുപോന്ന അവരുടെ വ്യാജമൂര്ത്തികള് അവരെ തെറ്റിനടക്കുമാറാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കയാല് തന്നേ, ഞാന് ശിക്ഷ മടക്കിക്കളകയില്ല.

4. Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not turn away [their punishment]; because they have despised the law of the LORD, and have not kept his commandments, and their lies caused them to err, after which their fathers have walked:

5. ഞാന് യെഹൂദയില് ഒരു തീ അയക്കും; അതു യെരൂശലേമിലെ അരമനകളെ ദഹിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും.

5. But I will send a fire upon Judah, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem.

6. യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുയിസ്രായേലിന്റെ മൂന്നോ നാലോ അതിക്രമം നിമിത്തം, അവര് നീതിമാനെ പണത്തിന്നും ദരിദ്രനെ ഒരുകൂട്ടു ചെരിപ്പിന്നും വിറ്റുകളഞ്ഞിരിക്കയാല് തന്നേ, ഞാന് ശിക്ഷ മടക്കിക്കളകയില്ല.

6. Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not turn away [their punishment]; because they sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of shoes;

7. അവര് എളിയവരുടെ തലയില് മണ്പൊടി കാണ്മാന് കാംക്ഷിക്കയും സാധുക്കളുടെ വഴി മറിച്ചുകളകയും ചെയ്യുന്നുഎന്റെ വിശുദ്ധനാമത്തെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കുവാന് തക്കവണ്ണം ഒരു പുരുഷനും അവന്റെ അപ്പനും ഒരേ യുവതിയുടെ അടുക്കല് ചെല്ലുന്നു.

7. That pant after the dust of the earth on the head of the poor, and turn aside the way of the meek: and a man and his father will go in to the [same] maid, to profane my holy name:

8. അവര് ഏതു ബലിപീഠത്തിന്നരികത്തും പണയം വാങ്ങിയ വസ്ത്രം വിരിച്ചു കിടന്നുറങ്ങുകയും പിഴ അടെച്ചവരുടെ വീഞ്ഞു തങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആലയത്തില്വെച്ചു കുടിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

8. And they lay [themselves] down upon clothes laid to pledge by every altar, and they drink the wine of the condemned [in] the house of their god.

9. ഞാനോ അമോര്യ്യനെ അവരുടെ മുമ്പില്നിന്നു നശിപ്പിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു; അവന്റെ ഉയരം ദേവദാരുക്കളുടെ ഉയരംപോലെയായിരുന്നു; അവര് കരുവേലകങ്ങള്പോലെ ശക്തിയുള്ളവനുമായിരുന്നു; എങ്കിലും ഞാന് മീതെ അവന്റെ ഫലവും താഴെ അവന്റെ വേരും നശിപ്പിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

9. Yet I destroyed the Amorite before them, whose height [was] like the height of the cedars, and he [was] strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath.

10. ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു, അമോര്യ്യന്റെ ദേശത്തെ കൈവശമാക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങളെ നാല്പതു സംവത്സരം മരുഭൂമിയല്കൂടി നടത്തി.

10. Also I brought you from the land of Egypt, and led you forty years through the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite.

11. ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ പുത്രന്മാരില് ചിലരെ പ്രവാചകന്മാരായും നിങ്ങളുടെ യൌവനക്കാരില് ചിലരെ വ്രതസ്ഥന്മാരായും എഴുന്നേല്പിച്ചു; അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ അല്ലയോ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളേ, എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

11. And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazarites. [Is it] not even thus, O ye children of Israel? saith the LORD.

12. എന്നാല് നിങ്ങള് വ്രതസ്ഥന്മാര്ക്കും വീഞ്ഞു കുടിപ്പാന് കൊടുക്കയും പ്രവാചകന്മാരോടുപ്രവചിക്കരുതു എന്നു കല്പിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

12. But ye gave the Nazarites wine to drink; and commanded the prophets, saying, Prophesy not.

13. കറ്റ കയറ്റി വണ്ടി അമര്ത്തുന്നതുപോലെ ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ നിങ്ങള് ഇരിക്കുന്നിടത്തു അമര്ത്തിക്കളയും.

13. Behold, I am pressed under you, as a cart is pressed [that is] full of sheaves.

14. അങ്ങനെ വേഗവാന്മാര്ക്കും ശരണം നശിക്കും; ബലവാന്റെ ശക്തി നിലനില്ക്കയില്ല; വീരന് തന്റെ ജീവനെ രക്ഷിക്കയില്ല;

14. Therefore the flight shall perish from the swift, and the strong shall not strengthen his force, neither shall the mighty deliver himself:

15. വില്ലാളി ഉറെച്ചുനില്ക്കയില്ല; ശീഘ്രഗാമി തന്നെത്താന് വിടുവിക്കയില്ല; കുതിര കയറി ഔടുന്നവന് തന്റെ ജീവനെ രക്ഷിക്കയുമില്ല.

15. Neither shall he stand that handleth the bow; and [he that is] swift of foot shall not deliver [himself]: neither shall he that rideth the horse deliver himself.

16. വീരന്മാരില് ധൈര്യമേറിയവന് അന്നാളില് നഗ്നനായി ഔടിപ്പോകും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

16. And [he that is] courageous among the mighty shall flee away naked in that day, saith the LORD.
