1. പിന്നെ യഹോവ അഹരോനോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതെന്തെന്നാല്നീയും നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും നിന്റെ പിതൃഭവനവും വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരം സംബന്ധിച്ചുണ്ടാകുന്ന അകൃത്യം വഹിക്കേണം; നീയും നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും നിങ്ങളുടെ പൌരോഹിത്യം സംബന്ധിച്ചുണ്ടാകുന്ന അകൃത്യവും വഹിക്കേണം.

1. And the LORD said unto Aaron: Thou and thy sons and thy father's house with thee, shall bear the fault of that which is done amiss in the holy place. And thou and thy sons with thee, shall bear the fault of that which is done amiss in your priesthood.

2. നിന്റെ പിതൃഗോത്രമായ ലേവിഗോത്രത്തിലുള്ള നിന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരെയും നിന്നോടുകൂടെ അടുത്തുവരുമാറാക്കേണം. അവര് നിന്നോടു ചേര്ന്നു നിനക്കു ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യേണം; നീയും നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരുമോ സാക്ഷ്യകൂടാരത്തിങ്കല് ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യേണം.

2. And thy brethren also the tribe of Levi, the tribe of thy father take with thee, and let them be joined unto thee and minister unto thee. And thou and thy sons with thee shall minister before the tabernacle of witness.

3. അവര് നിനക്കും കൂടാരത്തിന്നൊക്കെയും ആവശ്യമുള്ള കാര്യം നോക്കേണം; എന്നാല് അവരും നിങ്ങളും കൂടെ മരിക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവര് വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിലെ ഉപകരണങ്ങളോടും യാഗപീഠത്തോടും അടുക്കരുതു.

3. And let them wait upon thee and upon all the tabernacle: only let them not come nigh the holy vessels and the altar, that both they and ye also die not.

4. അവര് നിന്നോടു ചേര്ന്നു സമാഗമനക്കുടാരം സംബന്ധിച്ചുള്ള സകലവേലെക്കുമായി കൂടാരത്തിന്റെ കാര്യം നോക്കേണം; ഒരു അന്യനും നിങ്ങളോടു അടുക്കരുതു.

4. And let them be by thee and wait on the tabernacle of witness, and on all the service of the tabernacle, and let no stranger come nigh unto you.

5. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ മേല് ഇനി ക്രോധം വരാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിന്റെയും യാഗപീഠത്തിന്റെയും കാര്യം നിങ്ങള് നോക്കേണം.

5. Wait therefore upon the holy place and upon the altar, that there fall no more wrath upon the children of Israel:

6. ലേവ്യരായ നിങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരെയോ ഞാന് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ ഇടയില്നിന്നു എടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; യഹോവേക്കു ദാനമായിരിക്കുന്ന അവരെ സമാഗമനക്കുടാരം സംബന്ധിച്ചുള്ള വേല ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ദാനം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

6. behold, I have taken your brethren the Levites from among children of Israel, to be yours, as gifts given unto the LORD to do the service of the tabernacle of witness.

7. ആകയാല് നീയും നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും യാഗപീഠത്തിങ്കലും തിരശ്ശീലെക്കകത്തും ഉള്ള സകലകാര്യത്തിലും നിങ്ങളുടെ പൌരോഹിത്യം അനുഷ്ഠിച്ചു ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യേണം; പൌരോഹിത്യം ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ദാനം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അന്യന് അടുത്തുവന്നാല് മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം.

7. And see that both thou and thy sons with thee take heed unto your priests' office, in all things that pertain unto the altar and within the vail. And see that ye serve, for I have given your priests' office unto you for a gift to do service: and the stranger that cometh nigh, shall die.

8. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും അഹരോനോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതുഇതാ, എന്റെ ഉദര്ച്ചാര്പ്പണങ്ങളുടെ കാര്യം ഞാന് നിന്നെ ഭരമേല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ സകലവസ്തുക്കളിലും അവയെ ഞാന് നിനക്കും നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്ക്കും ഔഹരിയായും ശാശ്വതവാകാശമായും തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

8. And the LORD spake unto Aaron: behold, I have given thee the keeping of mine heave offerings in all the hallowed things of the children of Israel. And unto thee I have given them unto anointing and to thy sons: to be a duty for ever.

9. തീയില് ദഹിപ്പിക്കാത്തതായി അതിവിശുദ്ധവസ്തുക്കളില്വെച്ചു ഇതു നിനക്കുള്ളതായിരിക്കേണം; അവര് എനിക്കു അര്പ്പിക്കുന്ന അവരുടെ എല്ലാവഴിപാടും സകലഭോജനയാഗവും സകലപാപയാഗവും സകലഅകൃത്യയാഗവും അതിവിശുദ്ധമായി നിനക്കും നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്ക്കും ഇരിക്കേണം.

9. This shall be thine of most holy sacrifices: All their gifts, thorowout all their meatofferings, sinofferings and trespassofferings which they bring unto me. They shall be most holy unto thee and unto thy sons.

10. അതി വിശുദ്ധവസ്തുവായിട്ടു അതു ഭക്ഷിക്കേണം; ആണുങ്ങളെല്ലാം അതു ഭക്ഷിക്കേണം. അതു നിനക്കുവേണ്ടി വിശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കേണം.

10. And ye shall eat it in the most holy place: all that are males shall eat of it, for it shall be holy unto thee.

11. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ ദാനമായുള്ള ഉദര്ച്ചാര്പ്പണമായ ഇതു അവരുടെ സകലനീരാജനയാഗങ്ങളോടുംകൂടെ നിനക്കുള്ളതാകുന്നു; ഇവയെ ഞാന് നിനക്കും നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്ക്കും പുത്രിമാര്ക്കും ശാശ്വതാവകാശമായി തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ വീട്ടില് ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവന്നെല്ലാം അതു ഭക്ഷിക്കാം.

11. And this shall be thine: the heaveoffering of their gifts, thorowout all the waveofferings of the children of Israel, for I have given them unto thee and thy sons, and thy daughters with thee, to be a duty for ever: and all that are clean in thy house, shall eat of it,

12. എണ്ണയില് വിശേഷമായതൊക്കെയും പുതുവീഞ്ഞിലും ധാന്യത്തിലും വിശേഷമായതൊക്കെയും ഇങ്ങനെ അവര് യഹോവേക്കു അര്പ്പിക്കുന്ന ആദ്യഫലമൊക്കെയും ഞാന് നിനക്കു തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

12. all the fat of the oil, of the wine and of the corn: their first fruits which they give unto the LORD that have I given unto thee.

13. അവര് തങ്ങളുടെ ദേശത്തുള്ള എല്ലാറ്റിലും യഹോവേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവരുന്ന ആദ്യഫലങ്ങള് നിനക്കു ആയിരിക്കേണം; നിന്റെ വീട്ടില് ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവന്നെല്ലാം അതു ഭക്ഷിക്കാം.

13. The first fruits of all that is in their lands which they bring unto the LORD, shall be thine: and all that are clean in thine house, shall eat of it.

14. യിസ്രായേലില് ശപഥാര്പ്പിതമായതു ഒക്കെയും നിനക്കു ഇരിക്കേണം.

14. All dedicate things in Israel, shall be thine.

15. മനുഷ്യരില് ആകട്ടെ മൃഗങ്ങളില് ആകട്ടെ സകല ജഡത്തിലും അവര് യഹോവേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവരുന്ന കടിഞ്ഞൂല് ഒക്കെയും നിനക്കു ഇരിക്കേണം; മനുഷ്യന്റെ കടിഞ്ഞൂലിനെയോ വീണ്ടെടുക്കേണം; അശുദ്ധമൃഗങ്ങളുടെ കടിഞ്ഞൂലിനെയും വീണ്ടെടുക്കേണം.

15. All that breaketh the matrice of all flesh that men bring unto the LORD, both of man and beast, shall be thine. Neverthelater the firstborn of man shall be redeemed, and the firstborn of unclean beasts shall be redeemed.

16. വീണ്ടെടുപ്പു വിലയോഒരു മാസംമുതല് മേലോട്ടു പ്രായമുള്ളതിനെ നിന്റെ മതിപ്പുപ്രകാരം അഞ്ചു ശേക്കെല് ദ്രവ്യംകൊടുത്തു വീണ്ടെടുക്കേണം. ശേക്കെല് ഒന്നിന്നു ഇരുപതു ഗേരപ്രകാരം വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിലെ തൂക്കം തന്നേ.

16. And their redemptions shall be at a month old, valued at five sicles of silver, of the holy sicle. A sicle maketh twenty Geras.

17. എന്നാല് പശു, ആടു, കോലാടു എന്നിവയുടെ കടിഞ്ഞൂലിനെ വീണ്ടെടുക്കരുതു; അവ വിശുദ്ധമാകുന്നു; അവയുടെ രക്തം യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല് തളിച്ചു മേദസ്സു യഹോവേക്കു സൌരഭ്യവാസനയായ ദഹനയാഗമായി ദഹിപ്പിക്കേണം.

17. But the firstborn of oxen, sheep and goats shall not be redeemed. For they are holy, and thou shalt sprinkle their blood upon the altar, and shalt burn their fat to be a sacrifice of a sweet savour unto the LORD.

18. നീരാജനം ചെയ്ത നെഞ്ചും വലത്തെ കൈക്കുറകും നിനക്കുള്ളതായിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ തന്നേ അവയുടെ മാംസവും നിനക്കു ഇരിക്കേണം.

18. And the flesh of them shall be thine, as the wavebreast and all the right shoulder is thine.

19. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് യഹോവേക്കു അര്പ്പിക്കുന്ന വിശുദ്ധവസ്തുക്കളില് ഉദര്ച്ചാര്പ്പണങ്ങളെല്ലാം ഞാന് നിനക്കും നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്ക്കും പുത്രിമാര്ക്കും ശാശ്വതാവകാശമായി തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് നിനക്കും നിന്റെ സന്തതിക്കും ഇതു എന്നേക്കും ഒരു ലവണനിയമം ആകുന്നു.

19. All the holy heave offerings which the children of Israel heave unto the LORD, I give thee and thy sons and thy daughters with thee to be a duty for ever. And it shall be a salted covenant for ever, before the LORD: unto thee and to thy seed with thee.

20. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും അഹരോനോടുനിനക്കു അവരുടെ ഭൂമിയില് ഒരു അവകാശവും ഉണ്ടാകരുതു; അവരുടെ ഇടയില് നിനക്കു ഒരു ഔഹരിയും അരുതു; യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ ഇടയില് ഞാന് തന്നേ നിന്റെ ഔഹരിയും അവകാശവും ആകുന്നു എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

20. And the LORD spake unto Aaron: thou shalt have none inheritance in their land, nor part among them. For I am thy part and thy inheritance among the children of Israel.

21. ലേവ്യര്ക്കോ ഞാന് സാമഗമനക്കുടാരം സംബന്ധിച്ചു അവര് ചെയ്യുന്ന വേലെക്കു യിസ്രായേലില് ഉള്ള ദശാംശം എല്ലാം അവകാശമായി കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
എബ്രായർ 7:5

21. And behold I have given the children of Levi, the tenth in Israel to inherit, for the service which they serve in the tabernacle of witness,

22. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് പാപം വഹിച്ചു മരിക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു മേലാല് സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തോടു അടുക്കരുതു.

22. that the children of Israel henceforth come not nigh the tabernacle of witness, and bear sin and die.

23. ലേവ്യര് സമാഗമനക്കുടാരം സംബന്ധിച്ചുള്ള വേല ചെയ്കയും അവരുടെ അകൃത്യം വഹിക്കയും വേണം; അതു തലമുറതലമുറയായി എന്നേക്കുമുള്ള ചട്ടമായിരിക്കേണം; അവര്ക്കും യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ ഇടയില് അവകാശം ഉണ്ടാകരുതു.

23. And the Levites shall do the service in the tabernacle of witness and bear their sin, and it shall be a law for ever unto your children after you: But among the children of Israel they shall inherit none inheritance.

24. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് യഹോവേക്കു ഉദര്ച്ചാര്പ്പണമായി അര്പ്പിക്കുന്ന ദശാംശം ഞാന് ലേവ്യര്ക്കും അവകാശമായി കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു അവര്ക്കും യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ ഇടയില് അവകാശം അരുതു എന്നു ഞാന് അവരോടു കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

24. For the tithes of the children of Israel which they heave unto the LORD, I have given the Levites to inherit. Wherefore I have said unto them: Among the children of Israel ye shall inherit none inheritance.

25. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു

25. And the LORD spake unto Moses saying:

26. നീ ലേവ്യരോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ പക്കല്നിന്നു ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ അവകാശമായി നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തന്നിരിക്കുന്ന ദശാംശം അവരോടു വാങ്ങുമ്പോള് ദശാംശത്തിന്റെ പത്തിലൊന്നു നിങ്ങള് യഹോവേക്കു ഉദര്ച്ചാര്പ്പണമായി അര്പ്പിക്കേണം.

26. speak unto the Levites and say unto them: when ye take of the children of Israel the tithes which I have given you of them to your inheritance, ye shall take an heaveoffering of that same for the LORD: even the tenth of that tithe.

27. നിങ്ങളുടെ ഈ ഉദര്ച്ചാര്പ്പണം കളത്തിലെ ധാന്യംപോലെയും മുന്തിരിച്ചക്കിലെ നിറവുപോലെയും നിങ്ങളുടെ പേര്ക്കും എണ്ണും.

27. And it shall be reckoned unto you for your heaveoffering, even as though ye gave corn out of the barn or a full offering from the wine press.

28. ഇങ്ങനെ യിസ്രായേല് മക്കളോടു നിങ്ങള് വാങ്ങുന്ന സകലദശാംശത്തില്നിന്നും യഹോവേക്കു ഒരു ഉദര്ച്ചാര്പ്പണം അര്പ്പിക്കേണം; യഹോവേക്കുള്ള ആ ഉദര്ച്ചാര്പ്പണം നിങ്ങള് പുരോഹിതനായ അഹരോന്നു കൊടുക്കേണം.

28. And of this manner ye shall heave an heaveoffering unto the LORD, of all your tithes which ye receive of the children of Israel, and ye shall give there of the LORD's heave offering unto Aaron the priest.

29. നിങ്ങള്ക്കുള്ള സകലദാനങ്ങളിലും ഉത്തമമായ എല്ലാറ്റിന്റെയും വിശുദ്ധഭാഗം നിങ്ങള് യഹോവേക്കു ഉദര്ച്ചാര്പ്പണമായി അര്പ്പിക്കേണം.

29. Of all your gifts, ye shall take out the LORD's heaveoffering: even the fat of all their hallowed things.

30. ആകയാല് നീ അവരോടു പറയേണ്ടതെന്തെന്നാല്നിങ്ങള് അതിന്റെ ഉത്തമഭാഗം ഉദര്ച്ചാര്പ്പണമായി അര്പ്പിക്കുമ്പോള് അതു കളത്തിലെ അനുഭവം പോലെയും മുന്തിരിച്ചക്കിലെ അനുഭവംപോലെയും ലേവ്യര്ക്കും എണ്ണും.

30. And thou shalt say unto them: when ye have taken away the fat of it from it, it shall be counted unto the Levites, as the increase of corn and wine.

31. അതു നിങ്ങള്ക്കും നിങ്ങളുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങള്ക്കും എല്ലാടത്തുവെച്ചും ഭക്ഷിക്കാം; അതു സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിങ്കല് നിങ്ങള് ചെയ്യുന്ന വേലെക്കുള്ള ശമ്പളം ആകുന്നു.

31. And ye shall eat it in all places both ye and your households, for it is your rewards for your service in the tabernacle of witness.

32. അതിന്റെ ഉത്തമഭാഗം ഉദര്ച്ചചെയ്താല് പിന്നെ നിങ്ങള് അതു നിമിത്തം പാപം വഹിക്കയില്ല; നിങ്ങള് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ വിശുദ്ധവസ്തുക്കള് അശുദ്ധമാക്കുകയും അതിനാല് മരിച്ചു പോവാന് ഇടവരികയുമില്ല.

32. And ye shall bear no sin by the reason of it, when ye have taken from it the fat of it: neither shall ye unhallow the hallowed things of the children of Israel, and so shall ye not die.
