1. And this is the blessing with which Moses the man of God blessed the sons of Israel before his death.

2. And he said: Jehovah came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir for them; He shone forth from Mount Paran, and He came from the myriads of holy ones. At his right hand a law of fire went forth to them.

3. Yes, He loves the peoples; all His holy ones are in Your hand; and they sit down at Your feet; He lifts up each at Your Words.

4. Moses has commanded a Law to us, an inheritance for the congregation of Jacob.

5. ജനത്തിന്റെ തലവന്മാരും യിസ്രായേല്ഗോത്രങ്ങളും കൂടിയപ്പോള് അവന് യെശൂരുന്നു രാജാവായിരുന്നു.

5. And he was king in Jeshurun, when the heads of the people assembled, the tribes of Israel.

6. രൂബേന് മരിക്കാതെ ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കട്ടെ; അവന്റെ പുരുഷന്മാര് കുറയാതിരിക്കട്ടെ

6. Let Reuben live, and not die, and let his men be numbered.

7. And this for Judah: And he said, Hear the voice of Judah, O Jehovah, and bring him in to his people; his hands were much for him, and You shall be a help against his foes.

8. ലേവിയെക്കുറിച്ചു അവന് പറഞ്ഞതുനിന്റെ തുമ്മീമും ഊറീമും നിന് ഭക്തന്റെ പക്കല് ഇരിക്കുന്നു; നീ മസ്സയില്വെച്ചു പരീക്ഷിക്കയും കലഹജലത്തിങ്കല് നീ പൊരുകയും ചെയ്തവന്റെ പക്കല് തന്നേ.

8. And of Levi he said, Your Thummim and Your Urim are for Your devout man whom You tested at Massah; You contended with him at the Waters of Strife;

9. who said of his father and his mother, I have not seen him. And he has not acknowledged his brothers, and did not know his own son, for they have kept Your Word, and observed Your covenant.

10. അവര് യാക്കോബിന്നു നിന്റെ വിധികളും യിസ്രായേലിന്നു ന്യായപ്രമാണവും ഉപദേശിക്കും; അവര് നിന്റെ സന്നിധിയില് സുഗന്ധ ധൂപവും യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല് സര്വ്വാംഗഹോമവും അര്പ്പിക്കും.

10. They shall teach Your ordinances to Jacob, and Your Law to Israel. They shall put incense at Your nostrils, and whole burnt offering on Your altar.

11. യഹോവ, അവന്റെ ധനത്തെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കേണമേ; അവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിയില് പ്രസാദിക്കേണമേ. അവന്റെ എതിരികളും അവനെ ദ്വേഷിക്കുന്നവരും എഴുന്നേല്ക്കാതവണ്ണം അവരുടെ അരകളെ തകര്ത്തുകളയേണമേ.

11. O Jehovah, bless his strength, and accept the work of his hands. Dash the loins of those rising against him, those who hate him, that they may not rise!

12. ബെന്യാമിനെക്കുറിച്ചു അവന് പറഞ്ഞതുഅവന് യഹോവേക്കു പ്രിയന് ; തത്സന്നിധിയില് നിര്ഭയം വസിക്കും; താന് അവനെ എല്ലായ്പോഴും മറെച്ചുകൊള്ളുന്നു; അവന്റെ ഗിരികളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ അധിവസിക്കുന്നു.

12. Of Benjamin he said, The beloved of Jehovah shall dwell securely beside Him, covering him all the day long; yea he shall dwell between His shoulders.

14. and with the best of the produce of the sun, and with the best yield of the months;

15. പുരാതനപര്വ്വതങ്ങളുടെ ശ്രേഷ്ഠസാധനങ്ങള് കൊണ്ടും ശാശ്വതശൈലങ്ങളുടെ വിശിഷ്ടവസ്തുക്കള് കൊണ്ടും ഭൂമിയിലെ വിശേഷവസ്തുക്കളും സമൃദ്ധിയുംകൊണ്ടും അവന്റെ ദേശം യഹോവയാല് അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെടുമാറാകട്ടെ.

15. and with the first of the ancient mountains, and with the best of the everlasting hills;

16. മുള്പ്പടര്പ്പില് വസിച്ചവന്റെ പ്രസാദം യോസേഫിന്റെ ശിരസ്സിന്മേലും തന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരില് പ്രഭുവായവന്റെ നെറുകമേലും വരുമാറാകട്ടെ.

16. and with the best of the earth, and its fullness; and the good will of Him who dwelt in the Bush; let it come on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the consecrated one of his brothers.

17. അവന്റെ കടിഞ്ഞൂല്കൂറ്റന് അവന്റെ പ്രതാപം; അവന്റെ കൊമ്പുകള് കാട്ടുപോത്തിന്റെ കൊമ്പുകള്; അവയാല് അവന് സകലജാതികളെയും ഭൂസീമാവാസികളെയും വെട്ടി ഔടിക്കും; അവ എഫ്രയീമിന്റെ പതിനായിരങ്ങളും മനശ്ശെയുടെ ആയിരങ്ങളും തന്നേ.

17. His glory is as the first-born of his ox, and the horns of the wild ox are his horns; with them he shall butt the peoples together to the ends of the earth. And they are the myriads of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh.

18. സെബൂലൂനെക്കുറിച്ചു അവന് പറഞ്ഞതുസെബൂലൂനേ, നിന്റെ പ്രയാണത്തിലും, യിസ്സാഖാരേ, നിന്റെ കൂടാരങ്ങളിലും സന്തോഷിക്ക.

18. And of Zebulun he said, Rejoice, O Zebulun, in your going out, and O Issachar, in your tents;

19. അവര് ജാതികളെ പര്വ്വതത്തിലേക്കു വിളിക്കും; അവിടെ നീതിയാഗങ്ങളെ കഴിക്കും. അവര് സമുദ്രങ്ങളുടെ സമൃദ്ധിയും മണലിലെ നിക്ഷേപങ്ങളും വലിച്ചു കുടിക്കും.

19. to the mountains they call the peoples; there they shall offer righteous sacrifices for they shall suck the bounty of the seas, and treasures hidden in the sand.

20. ഗാദിനെക്കുറിച്ചു അവന് പറഞ്ഞതുഗാദിനെ വിസ്താരമാക്കുന്നവന് അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടവന് . ഒരു സിംഹിപോലെ അവന് പതുങ്ങിക്കിടന്നു ഭുജവും നെറുകയും പറിച്ചുകീറുന്നു.

20. And of Gad he said, Blessed is he who enlarges Gad; he shall live like a lioness, and shall tear the arm, also the top of the head.

21. അവന് ആദ്യഭാഗം തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു; അവിടെ നായകന്റെ ഔഹരി സംഗ്രഹിച്ചു വെച്ചിരുന്നു; അവന് ജനത്തിന്റെ തലവന്മാരോടുകൂടെ യഹോവയുടെ നീതിയും യിസ്രായേലുമായി അവന്റെ വിധികളും നടത്തി.

21. And he eyes the first part for himself, for there was the portion of the lawgiver hidden; and he came with the rulers of the people; he executed the justice of Jehovah, and His judgments with Israel.

22. ദാനെക്കുറിച്ചു അവന് പറഞ്ഞതുദാന് ബാലസിംഹം ആകുന്നു; അവന് ബാശാനില്നിന്നു ചാടുന്നു.

22. And of Dan he said, Dan is a lion's whelp; he shall leap from Bashan.

23. നഫ്താലിയെക്കുറിച്ചു അവന് പറഞ്ഞതുനഫ്താലിയേ, പ്രസാദംകൊണ്ടു തൃപ്തനും യഹോവയുടെ അനുഗ്രഹം നിറഞ്ഞവനുമായി പടിഞ്ഞാറും തെക്കും കൈവശമാക്കുക.

23. And of Naphtali he said, O Naphtali, satisfied with good will and full of the blessing of Jehovah; possess the west and the south.

24. ആശേരിനെക്കുറിച്ചു അവന് പറഞ്ഞതുആശേര് പുത്രസമ്പത്തുകൊണ്ടു അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടവന് ; അവന് സഹോദരന്മാര്ക്കും ഇഷ്ടനായിരിക്കട്ടെ; അവന് കാല് എണ്ണയില് മുക്കട്ടെ.

24. And of Asher he said, Asher shall be blessed with sons; let him be accepted by his brothers, and dip his foot in oil.

25. നിന്റെ ഔടാമ്പല് ഇരിമ്പും താമ്രവും ആയിരിക്കട്ടെ. നിന്റെ ബലം ജീവപര്യന്തം നില്ക്കട്ടെ.

25. May your shoe latches be iron and bronze, and your days as your strength.

26. യെശൂരൂന്റെ ദൈവത്തെപ്പോലെ ഒരുത്തനുമില്ല; നിന്റെ സഹായത്തിന്നായി അവന് ആകാശത്തുടെ തന്റെ മഹിമയില് മേഘാരൂഢനായി വരുന്നു.

26. None is like the God of Jeshurun, riding the heavens for your help, and the clouds in His majesty.

27. പുരാതനനായ ദൈവം നിന്റെ സങ്കേതം; കീഴെ ശാശ്വതഭുജങ്ങള് ഉണ്ടു; അവന് ശത്രുവിനെ നിന്റെ മുമ്പില്നിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു. സംഹരിക്ക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

27. The God of old is a refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. And He shall cast the enemy out from before you, and shall say, Destroy!

28. ധാന്യവും വീഞ്ഞുമുള്ള ദേശത്തു യിസ്രായേല് നിര്ഭയമായും യാക്കോബിന് ഉറവു തനിച്ചും വസിക്കുന്നു; ആകാശം അവന്നു മഞ്ഞു പൊഴിക്കുന്നു.

28. And Israel shall live alone in safety; the fountain of Jacob in a land of grain and wine; and his heavens drop down dew.

29. യിസ്രായേലേ, നീ ഭാഗ്യവാന് ; നിനക്കു തുല്യന് ആര്? യഹോവയാല് രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ട ജനമേ, അവന് നിന്റെ സഹായത്തിന് പരിചയും നിന്റെ മഹിമയുടെ വാളും ആകുന്നു. നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കള് നിന്നോടു അനുസരണം നടിക്കും. നീ അവരുടെ ഉന്നതങ്ങളിന്മേല് നടകൊള്ളും.

29. Blessed are you, O Israel! Who is like you? A people saved by Jehovah, the Shield of your help, and He who is the Sword of your excellency! And your enemies shall be found liars before you, and you shall tread on their high places.
