1. ഇനി സഹോദരന്മാരേ, നമ്മുടെ കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ പ്രത്യക്ഷതയും അവന്റെ അടുക്കലുള്ള നമ്മുടെ സമാഗമനവും സംബന്ധിച്ചു ഞങ്ങള് നിങ്ങളോടു അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നതു

1. Now brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and of our gathering together to Him, we ask you

2. not to be quickly disturbed in mind or alarmed, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the Day of Christ has come.

8. And then the lawless one will be unveiled, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.

9. അധര്മ്മമൂര്ത്തിയുടെ പ്രത്യക്ഷത നശിച്ചുപോകുന്നവര്ക്കും സാത്താന്റെ വ്യാപാരശക്തിക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം വ്യാജമായ സകലശക്തിയോടും അടയാളങ്ങളോടും അത്ഭുതങ്ങളോടും അനീതിയുടെ സകല വഞ്ചനയോടും കൂടെ ആയിരിക്കും;

9. The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders,

10. അവര് രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുവാന്തക്കവണ്ണം സത്യത്തെ സ്നേഹിച്ചു കൈക്കൊള്ളായ്കയാല് തന്നേ അങ്ങനെ ഭവിക്കും.

10. and with all unrighteous deception among those who are perishing, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11. സത്യത്തെ വിശ്വസിക്കാതെ അനീതിയില് രസിക്കുന്ന ഏവര്ക്കും ന്യായവിധി വരേണ്ടതിന്നു

11. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,

12. ദൈവം അവര്ക്കും ഭോഷകു വിശ്വസിക്കുമാറു വ്യാജത്തിന്റെ വ്യാപാരശക്തി അയക്കുന്നു.

12. that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

13. ഞങ്ങളോ, കര്ത്താവിന്നു പ്രിയരായ സഹോദരന്മാരേ, ദൈവം നിങ്ങളെ ആദിമുതല് ആത്മാവിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധീകരണത്തിലും സത്യത്തിന്റെ വിശ്വാസത്തിലും രക്ഷെക്കായി തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തതുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങള് നിമിത്തം ദൈവത്തെ എപ്പോഴും സ്തുതിപ്പാന് കടമ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

13. But we owe thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief in the truth,

14. to which He called you through our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

15. Therefore, brethren, stand firm and hold on to the traditions which you were taught, whether by word or our epistle.

16. നമ്മുടെ കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുതാനും നമ്മെ സ്നേഹിച്ചു നിത്യാശ്വാസവും നല്ല പ്രത്യാശയും കൃപയാലെ നല്കിയിരിക്കുന്ന നമ്മുടെ പിതാവായ ദൈവവും

16. Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting comfort and good hope by grace,

17. നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിച്ചു എല്ലാ നല്ല പ്രവൃത്തിയിലും വാക്കിലും സ്ഥിരപ്പെടുത്തുമാറാകട്ടെ.

17. encourage your hearts and establish you in every good word and work.
