1. അനന്തരം ലേവ്യരുടെ കുടുംബത്തലവന്മാര് പുരോഹിതനായ എലെയാസാരിന്റെയും നൂന്റെ മകനായ യോശുവയുടെയും യിസ്രായേല്ഗോത്രങ്ങളിലെ കുടുംബത്തലവന്മാരുടെയും അടുക്കല് വന്നു.

1. Then came the principall fathers of the Leuites vnto Eleazar the Priest, and vnto Ioshua the sonne of Nun, and vnto the chiefe fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel,

2. കനാന് ദേശത്തു ശീലോവില്വെച്ചു അവരോടുയഹോവ ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു പാര്പ്പാന് പട്ടണങ്ങളും ഞങ്ങളുടെ കന്നുകാലികള്ക്കു പുല്പുറങ്ങളും തരുവാന് മോശെമുഖാന്തരം കല്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

2. And spake vnto them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, The Lord commanded by the hande of Moses, to giue vs cities to dwell in, with the suburbes thereof for our cattell.

3. എന്നാറെ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് തങ്ങളുടെ അവകാശത്തില്നിന്നു യഹോവയുടെ കല്പനപ്രകാരം ഈ പട്ടണങ്ങളും അവയുടെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ലേവ്യര്ക്കും കൊടുത്തു.

3. So the children of Israel gaue vnto the Leuites, out of their inheritance at the commandement of the Lord these cities with their suburbes.

4. കെഹാത്യരുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങള്ക്കു വന്ന നറുകൂപ്രകാരം ലേവ്യരില് പുരോഹിതനായ അഹരോന്റെ മക്കള്ക്കു യെഹൂദാഗോത്രത്തിലും ശിമെയോന് ഗോത്രത്തിലും ബെന്യാമീന് ഗോത്രത്തിലും കൂടെ പതിമ്മൂന്നു പട്ടണം കിട്ടി.

4. And the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites: and the children of Aaron ye Priest, which were of the Leuites, had by lot, out of the tribe of Iudah, and out of the tribe of Simeon, and out of the tribe of Beniamin thirteene cities.

5. കെഹാത്തിന്റെ ശേഷംമക്കള്ക്കു എഫ്രയീംഗോത്രത്തിലും ദാന് ഗോത്രത്തിലും മനശ്ശെയുടെ പാതിഗോത്രത്തിലും നറുകൂപ്രകാരം പത്തുപട്ടണം കിട്ടി.

5. And the rest of the children of Kohath had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh, tenne cities.

6. ഗേര്ശോന്റെ മക്കള്ക്കു യിസ്സാഖാര് ഗോത്രത്തിലും ബാശാനിലെ മനശ്ശെയുടെ പാതിഗോത്രത്തിലും നറുകൂപ്രകാരം പതിമ്മൂന്നു പട്ടണംകിട്ടി.

6. Also the children of Gershon had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of ye tribe of Naphtali, and out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteene cities.

7. മെരാരിയുടെ മക്കള്ക്കു കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായി രൂബേന് ഗോത്രത്തിലും ഗാദ് ഗോത്രത്തിലും സെബൂലൂന് ഗോത്രത്തിലും കൂടെ പന്ത്രണ്ടു പട്ടണം കിട്ടി.

7. The children of Merari according to their families had out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelue cities.

8. യഹോവ മോശെമുഖാന്തരം കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് ലേവ്യര്ക്കും ഈ പട്ടണങ്ങളും അവയുടെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും നറുകൂ പ്രകാരം കൊടുത്തു.

8. So the children of Israel gaue by lot vnto the Leuites these cities with their suburbes, as the Lord had commanded by the hand of Moses.

9. അവര് യെഹൂദാമക്കളുടെ ഗോത്രത്തിലും ശിമെയോന് മക്കളുടെ ഗോത്രത്തിലും താഴെ പേര് പറയുന്ന പട്ടണങ്ങളെ കൊടുത്തു.

9. And they gaue out of the tribe of the children of Iudah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeo, these cities which are here named.

10. അവ ലേവിമക്കളില് കെഹാത്യരുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങളില് അഹരോന്റെ മക്കള്ക്കു കിട്ടി. അവര്ക്കായിരുന്നു ഒന്നാമത്തെ നറുകൂ വന്നതു.

10. And they were the childrens of Aaron being of the families of the Kohathites, and of the sonnes of Leui, (for theirs was the first lot)

11. യെഹൂദാമലനാട്ടില് അവര് അനാക്കിന്റെ അപ്പനായ അര്ബ്ബയുടെ പട്ടണമായ ഹെബ്രോനും അതിന്നുചുറ്റുമുള്ള പുല്പുറങ്ങളും അവര്ക്കും കൊടുത്തു.

11. So they gaue them Kiriath-arba of the father of Anok (which is Hebron) in the mountaine of Iudah, with the suburbes of the same round about it.

12. എന്നാല് പട്ടണത്തോടു ചേര്ന്ന നിലങ്ങളും ഗ്രാമങ്ങളും അവര് യെഫുന്നെയുടെ മകനായ കാലേബിന്നു അവകാശമായി കൊടുത്തു.

12. (But the lande of the citie, and the villages thereof, gaue they to Caleb the sonne of Iephunneh to be his possession)

13. ഇങ്ങനെ അവര് പുരോഹിതനായ അഹരോന്റെ മക്കള്ക്കു, കുലചെയ്തവന്നു സങ്കേതനഗരമായ ഹെബ്രോനും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ലിബ്നയും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും

13. Thus they gaue to the children of Aaron the Priest, a citie of refuge for the slaier, euen Hebron with her suburbes, and Libnah with her suburbes,

14. യത്ഥീരും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും

14. And Iattir with her suburbes, and Eshtemoa, and her suburbes,

15. എസ്തെമോവയും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഹോലോനും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ദെബീരും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും

15. And Holon with her suburbes, and Debir with her suburbes,

16. അയീനും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും യുത്തയും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ബേത്ത്-ശേമെശും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഇങ്ങനെ ആ രണ്ടു ഗോത്രങ്ങളില് ഒമ്പതു പട്ടണവും,

16. And Ain with her suburbes, and Iuttah with her suburbes, Beth-shemesh with her suburbes: nine cities out of those two tribes.

17. ബെന്യാമീന് ഗോത്രത്തില് ഗിബെയോനും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും

17. And out of the tribe of Beniamin they gaue Gibeon with her suburbes, Geba with her suburbes,

18. ഗേബയും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും അനാഥോത്തും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും അല്മോനും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഇങ്ങനെ നാലു പട്ടണവും കൊടുത്തു.

18. Anathoth with her suburbes, and Almon with her suburbes: foure cities.

19. അഹരോന്റെ മക്കളായ പുരോഹിതന്മാര്ക്കും എല്ലാംകൂടി പതിമ്മൂന്നു പട്ടണവും അവയുടെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും കിട്ടി.

19. All the cities of the children of Aaron Priests, were thirteene cities with their suburbes.

20. കെഹാത്തിന്റെ ശേഷം മക്കളായ ലേവ്യര്ക്കും, കെഹാത്യ കുടുംബങ്ങള്ക്കു തന്നേ, നറുക്കു പ്രകാരം കിട്ടിയ പട്ടണങ്ങള് എഫ്രയീംഗോത്രത്തില് ആയിരുന്നു.

20. But to the families of the children of Kohath of the Leuites, which were the rest of the children of Kohath (for the cities of their lot were out of the tribe of Ephraim)

21. എഫ്രയീംനാട്ടില്, കുലചെയ്തവന്നു സങ്കേതനഗരമായ ശെഖേമും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഗേസെരും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും

21. They gaue them the citie of refuge for the slaier, Shechem with her suburbes in mount Ephraim, and Gezer with her suburbes,

22. കിബ്സയീം അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ബേത്ത്-ഹോരോനും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഇങ്ങനെ നാലു പട്ടണവും,

22. And Kibzaim with her suburbs, and Bethhoron with her suburbes: foure cities.

23. ദാന് ഗോത്രത്തില് എല്തെക്കേയും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഗിബ്ബെഥോനും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും

23. And out of the tribe of Dan, Eltekeh with her suburbes, Gibethon with her suburbes,

24. അയ്യാലോനും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഗത്ത്-രിമ്മോനും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഇങ്ങനെ നാലു പട്ടണവും,

24. Aiialon with her suburbes, Gath-rimmon with her suburbes: foure cities.

25. മനശ്ശെയുടെ പാതിഗോത്രത്തില് താനാക്കും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഗത്ത്-രിമ്മോനും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഇങ്ങനെ രണ്ടു പട്ടണവും അവര്ക്കും കൊടുത്തു.

25. And out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh, Tanach with her suburbes, and Gath-rimmon with her suburbes: two cities.

26. ഇങ്ങനെ കെഹാത്തിന്റെ ശേഷം മക്കളുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങള്ക്കു എല്ലാംകൂടി പത്തു പട്ടണവും അവയുടെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും കിട്ടി.

26. All the cities for the other families of the children of Kohath were ten with their suburbes.

27. ലേവ്യരുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങളില് ഗേര്ശോന്റെ മക്കള്ക്കു മനശ്ശെയുടെ പാതിഗോത്രത്തില്, കുലചെയ്തവന്നു സങ്കേതനഗരമായ ബാശാനിലെ ഗോലാനും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ബെയെസ്തെരയും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും

27. Also vnto the children of Gershon of the families of the Leuites, they gaue out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh, the citie of refuge for the slaier, Golan in Bashan with her suburbes, and Beeshterah with her suburbes: two cities.

28. ഇങ്ങനെ രണ്ടു പട്ടണവും യിസ്സാഖാര്ഗോത്രത്തില് കിശ്യോനും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും

28. And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kishon with her suburbes, Dabereh with her suburbes,

29. ദാബെരത്തും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും യര്മ്മൂത്തും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഏന് -ഗന്നീമും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഇങ്ങനെ നാലു പട്ടണവും,

29. Iarmuth with her suburbes, En-gannim with her suburbes: foure cities.

30. ആശേര്ഗോത്രത്തില് മിശാലും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും അബ്ദോനും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും

30. And out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal with her suburbes, Abdon with her suburbes,

31. ഹെല്ക്കത്തും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും രെഹോബും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഇങ്ങനെ നാലു പട്ടണവും,

31. Helkah with her suburbs, and Rehob with her suburbes: foure cities.

32. നഫ്താലിഗോത്രത്തില്, കുലചെയ്തവന്നു സങ്കേതനഗരമായ ഗലീലയിലെ കേദെശും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഹമ്മോത്ത്-ദോരും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും കര്ത്ഥാനും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഇങ്ങനെ മൂന്നു പട്ടണവും കൊടുത്തു.

32. And out of the tribe of Naphtali, the citie of refuge for the slaier, Kedesh in Galil with her suburbes, and Hammoth-dor with her suburbes, and Kartan with her suburbes: three cities.

33. ഗേര്ശോന്യര്ക്കും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായി എല്ലാംകൂടി പതിമ്മൂന്നു പട്ടണവും അവയുടെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും കിട്ടി.

33. Al the cities of the Gershonites according to their families, were thirteene cities with their suburbes.

34. ശേഷം ലേവ്യരില് മെരാര്യ്യകുടുംബങ്ങള്ക്കു സെബൂലൂന് ഗോത്രത്തില് യൊക്നെയാമും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും കര്ത്ഥയും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും

34. Also vnto the families of the children of Merari the rest of the Leuites, they gaue out of the tribe of Zebulun, Iokneam with her suburbs, and Kartah with her suburbes,

35. ദിമ്നിയും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും നഹലാലും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഇങ്ങനെ നാലു പട്ടണവും

35. Dimnah with her suburbes, Nahalal, with her suburbes: foure cities.

36. രൂബേന് ഗോത്രത്തില് ബേസെരും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും

36. And out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer with her suburbs, and Iahazah with her suburbs,

37. യഹ്സയും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും കെദേമോത്തും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും മേഫാത്തും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഇങ്ങനെ നാലു പട്ടണവും,

37. Kedemoth with her suburbes, and Mephaath with her suburbes: foure cities.

38. ഗാദ് ഗോത്രത്തില്, കുലചെയ്തവന്നു സങ്കേതനഗരമായ ഗിലെയാദിലെ രാമോത്തും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും മഹനയീമും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും

38. And out of the tribe of Gad they gaue for a citie of refuge for the slaier, Ramoth in Gilead with her suburbes, and Mahanaim with her suburbes,

39. ഹെശ്ബോനും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും യസേരും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഇങ്ങനെ എല്ലാംകൂടി നാലു പട്ടണവും കൊടുത്തു.

39. Heshbon with her suburbs, and Iazer with her suburbes: foure cities in all.

40. അങ്ങനെ ശേഷം ലേവ്യ കുടുംബങ്ങളായ മെരാര്യ്യര്ക്കും നറുക്കു പ്രകാരം കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായി കിട്ടിയ പട്ടണങ്ങള് എല്ലാംകൂടി പന്ത്രണ്ടു ആയിരുന്നു.

40. So all the cities of the children of Merari according to their families (which were the rest of the families of the Leuites) were by their lot, twelue cities.

41. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ അവകാശത്തില് ലേവ്യര്ക്കും എല്ലാംകൂടി നാല്പത്തെട്ടു പട്ടണവും അവയുടെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും കിട്ടി.

41. And all the cities of the Leuites within the possession of the children of Israel, were eight and fourtie with their suburbes.

42. ഈ പട്ടണങ്ങളില് ഔരോന്നിന്നു ചുറ്റും പുല്പുറങ്ങള് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; ഈ പട്ടണങ്ങള്ക്കൊക്കെയും അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

42. These cities lay euery one seuerallie with their suburbes round about them: so were all these cities.

43. യഹോവ യിസ്രായേലിന്നു താന് അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാര്ക്കും കൊടുക്കുമെന്നു സത്യം ചെയ്ത ദേശമെല്ലാം കൊടുത്തു; അവര് അതു കൈവശമാക്കി അവിടെ കുടിപാര്ത്തു.

43. So the Lord gaue vnto Israel all ye land, which hee had sworne to giue vnto their fathers: and they possessed it, and dwelt therein.

44. യഹോവ അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരോടു സത്യം ചെയ്തതുപോലെ ഒക്കെയും ചുറ്റും അവര്ക്കും സ്വസ്ഥത നല്കി ശത്രുക്കളില് ഒരുത്തനും അവരുടെ മുമ്പില് നിന്നിട്ടില്ല; യഹോവ സകല ശത്രുക്കളെയും അവരുടെ കയ്യില് ഏല്പിച്ചു.

44. Also the Lord gaue them rest rounde about according to all that hee had sworne vnto their fathers: and there stoode not a man of all their enemies before them: for the Lord deliuered all their enemies into their hand.

45. യഹോവ യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹത്തോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത വാഗ്ദാനങ്ങളില് ഒന്നും വൃഥാവാകാതെ സകലവും നിവൃത്തിയായി.

45. There failed nothing of all the good things, which the Lord hath sayde vnto the house of Israel, but all came to passe.
