28. സീസെരയുടെ അമ്മ കിളിവാതിലൂടെ കുനിഞ്ഞുനിന്നു നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു. ജാലകത്തൂടെ വിളിച്ചുപറഞ്ഞിതുഅവന്റെ തേര് വരുവാന് വൈകുന്നതു എന്തു? രഥചക്രങ്ങള്ക്കു താമസം എന്തു?

28. 'Through the window peered Sisera's mother; behind the lattice she cried out,`Why is his chariot so long in coming? Why is the clatter of his chariots delayed?'

29. ജ്ഞാനമേറിയ നായകിമാര് അതിന്നുത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു; താനും തന്നോടു മറുപടി ആവര്ത്തിച്ചു

29. The wisest of her ladies answer her; indeed, she keeps saying to herself,

30. കിട്ടിയ കൊള്ള അവര് പങ്കിടുകയല്ലെയോ? ഔരോ പുരുഷന്നു ഒന്നും രണ്ടും പെണ്ണുങ്ങള്, സീസെരെക്കു കൊള്ള വിചിത്രവസ്ത്രം വിചിത്രത്തയ്യലായ കൊള്ളയും കൂടെ. കൊള്ളക്കാരുടെ കഴുത്തില് വിചിത്രശീല ഈരണ്ടു കാണും.

30. `Are they not finding and dividing the spoils: a girl or two for each man, colourful garments as plunder for Sisera, colourful garments embroidered, highly embroidered garments for my neck--all this as plunder?'

31. യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കള് ഒക്കെയും ഇവ്വണം നശിക്കട്ടെ. അവനെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവരോ സൂര്യന് പ്രതാപത്തോടെ ഉദിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ തന്നേ. പിന്നെ ദേശത്തിന്നു നാല്പതു സംവത്സരം സ്വസ്ഥത ഉണ്ടായി.
