1. ശെബാരാജ്ഞി യഹോവയുടെ നാമം സംബന്ധിച്ചു ശലോമോന്നുള്ള കീര്ത്തികേട്ടിട്ടു കടമൊഴികളാല് അവനെ പരീക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു വന്നു.
മത്തായി 6:29

1. And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the LORD, she came to try him with hard questions.

2. അവള് അതിമഹത്തായ പരിവാരത്തോടും സുഗന്ധവര്ഗ്ഗവും അനവധി പൊന്നും രത്നവും ചുമന്ന ഒട്ടകളങ്ങളോടുംകൂടെ യെരൂശലേമില്വന്നു; അവള് ശലോമോന്റെ അടുക്കല് വന്നശേഷം തന്റെ മനോരഥമൊക്കെയും അവനോടു പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു.

2. And she came to Jerusalem with a very great train, with camels that bore spices, and very much gold, and precious stones: and when she had come to Solomon, she talked with him of all that was in her heart.

3. അവളുടെ സകലചോദ്യങ്ങള്ക്കും ശലോമോന് സമാധാനം പറഞ്ഞു. സമാധാനം പറവാന് കഴിയാതെ ഒന്നും രാജാവിന്നു മറപൊരുളായിരുന്നില്ല.

3. And Solomon answered all her questions: there was not [any] thing hid from the king, which he told her not.

4. ശെബാരാജ്ഞി ശലോമോന്റെ സകലജ്ഞാനവും അവന് പണിത അരമനയും
ലൂക്കോസ് 12:27

4. And when the queen of Sheba had seen all Solomon's wisdom, and the house that he had built,

5. അവന്റെ മേശയിലെ ഭക്ഷണവും അവന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാരുടെ ഇരിപ്പും അവന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷകന്മാരുടെ നിലയും അവരുടെ ഉടുപ്പും അവന്റെ പാനപാത്രവാഹകന്മാരെയും യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലേക്കുള്ള അവന്റെ എഴുന്നെള്ളത്തും കണ്ടിട്ടു അമ്പരന്നുപോയി.

5. And the food of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel, and his cupbearers, and his ascent by which he went up to the house of the LORD; there was no more spirit in her.

6. അവള് രാജാവിനോടു പറഞ്ഞതു എന്തെന്നാല്നിന്റെ കാര്യങ്ങളെയും ജ്ഞാനത്തെയും കുറിച്ചു ഞാന് എന്റെ ദേശത്തുവെച്ചു കേട്ട വര്ത്തമാനം സത്യം തന്നേ.

6. And she said to the king, It was a true report that I heard in my own land of thy acts and of thy wisdom.

7. ഞാന് വന്നു എന്റെ കണ്ണുകൊണ്ടു കാണുന്നതുവരെ ആ വര്ത്തമാനം വിശ്വസിച്ചില്ല. എന്നാല് പാതിപോലും ഞാന് അറിഞ്ഞിരുന്നില്ല. ഞാന് കേട്ട കീര്ത്തിയെക്കാള് നിന്റെ ജ്ഞാനവും ധനവും അധികമാകുന്നു.

7. However I believed not the words, until I came, and my eyes had seen [it]: and, behold, the half was not told me: thy wisdom and prosperity exceed the fame which I heard.

8. നിന്റെ ഭാര്യമാര് ഭാഗ്യവതികള്; നിന്റെ മുമ്പില് എപ്പോഴും നിന്നു നിന്റെ ജ്ഞാനം കേള്ക്കുന്ന ഈ നിന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാരും ഭാഗ്യവാന്മാര്.

8. Happy [are] thy men, happy [are] these thy servants, who stand continually before thee, [and] that hear thy wisdom.

9. നിന്നെ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ രാജാസനത്തില് ഇരുത്തുവാന് നിന്നില് പ്രസാദിച്ച നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെട്ടവന് ; യഹോവ യിസ്രായേലിനെ എന്നേക്കും സ്നേഹിക്കകൊണ്ടു നീതിയും ന്യായവും നടത്തേണ്ടതിന്നു നിന്നെ രാജാവാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

9. Blessed be the LORD thy God, who delighted in thee, to set thee on the throne of Israel: because the LORD loved Israel for ever, therefore he made thee king, to do judgment and justice.

10. അവള് രാജാവിന്നു നൂറ്റിരുപതു താലന്ത് പൊന്നും അനവധി സുഗന്ധവര്ഗ്ഗവും രത്നവും കൊടുത്തു; ശെബാരാജ്ഞി ശലോമോന് രാജാവിന്നു കൊടുത്ത സുഗന്ധവര്ഗ്ഗംപോലെ അത്ര വളരെ പിന്നെ ഒരിക്കലും വന്നിട്ടില്ല.

10. And she gave the king an hundred and twenty talents of gold, and of spices a very great quantity, and precious stones: there came no more such abundance of spices as these which the queen of Sheba gave to king Solomon.

11. ഔഫീരില്നിന്നു പൊന്നു കൊണ്ടുവന്ന ഹീരാമിന്റെ കപ്പലുകള് ഔഫീരില്നിന്നു അനവധി ചന്ദനവും രത്നവും കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.

11. And the navy also of Hiram, that brought gold from Ophir, brought in from Ophir great plenty of almug trees, and precious stones.

12. രാജാവു ചന്ദനംകൊണ്ടു യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്നും രാജധാനിക്കും അഴികളും സംഗീതക്കാര്ക്കും കിന്നരങ്ങളും വീണകളും ഉണ്ടാക്കി; അങ്ങനെയുള്ള ചന്ദനമരം ഇന്നുവരെ വന്നിട്ടില്ല, കണ്ടിട്ടുമില്ല.

12. And the king made of the almug trees pillars for the house of the LORD, and for the king's house, harps also and psalteries for singers: there came no such almug trees, nor have they been seen to this day.

13. ശലോമോന് രാജാവു സ്വമേധയാ ശെബാരാജ്ഞിക്കു രാജൌചിത്യംപോലെ കൊടുത്തതുകൂടാതെ അവള് ആഗ്രഹിച്ചു ചോദിച്ചതുമെല്ലാം ശലോമോന് രാജാവു അവള്ക്കു കൊടുത്തു. അങ്ങനെ അവള് തന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാരുമായി സ്വദേശത്തേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോയി.

13. And king Solomon gave to the queen of Sheba all her desire, whatever she asked, besides [that] which Solomon gave her of his royal bounty. So she turned and went to her own country, she and her servants.

14. ശലോമോന്നു സഞ്ചാരവ്യാപാരികളാലും വര്ത്തകന്മാരുടെ കച്ചവടത്താലും സമ്മിശ്രജാതികളുടെ സകലരാജാക്കന്മാരാലും ദേശാധിപതിമാരാലും വന്നതു കൂടാതെ

14. Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred and sixty and six talents of gold,

15. ആണ്ടുതോറും വന്ന പൊന്നിന്റെ തൂക്കം അറുനൂറ്ററുപത്താറു താലന്തായിരുന്നു.

15. Besides [what he had] of the merchants, and of the trade of the spice merchants, and of all the kings of Arabia, and of the governors of the country.

16. ശലോമോന് രാജാവു, അടിച്ചുപരത്തിയ പൊന്നുകൊണ്ടു ഇരുനൂറു വന് പരിച ഉണ്ടാക്കി; ഔരോ പരിചെക്കു അറുനൂറുശേക്കല് പൊന്നു ചെലവായി.

16. And king Solomon made two hundred shields [of] beaten gold: six hundred [shekels] of gold went to one shield.

17. അടിച്ചുപരത്തിയ പൊന്നുകൊണ്ടു അവന് മുന്നൂറു ചെറുപരിചയും ഉണ്ടാക്കി; ഔരോ ചെറു പരിചെക്കു മൂന്നു മാനേ പൊന്നു ചെലവായി; അവയെ രാജാവു ലെബാനോന് വനഗൃഹത്തില് വെച്ചു.

17. And [he made] three hundred shields [of] beaten gold; three pounds of gold went to one shield: and the king put them in the house of the forest of Lebanon.

18. രാജാവു ദന്തംകൊണ്ടു ഒരു വലിയ സിംഹാസനം ഉണ്ടാക്കി തങ്കംകൊണ്ടു പൊതിഞ്ഞു.

18. Moreover the king made a great throne of ivory, and overlaid it with the best gold.

19. സിംഹാസനത്തിന്നു ആറു പതനം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. സിംഹാസനത്തിന്റെ തലപുറകോട്ടു വളഞ്ഞിരുന്നു; ഇരിപ്പിടത്തിന്റെ ഇരുഭാഗത്തും കൈത്താങ്ങലും കൈത്താങ്ങലിന്നരികെ നിലക്കുന്ന രണ്ടു സിംഹവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

19. The throne had six steps, and the top of the throne [was] round behind: and [there were] arms on either side on the place of the seat, and two lions stood beside the arms.

20. ആറു പതനത്തില് ഇപ്പുറത്തും അപ്പുറത്തുമായി പന്ത്രണ്ടു സിംഹം നിന്നിരുന്നു. ഒരു രാജ്യത്തും ഇങ്ങനെ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയിരുന്നില്ല.

20. And twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other upon the six steps: there was not the like made in any kingdom.

21. ശലോമോന് രാജാവിന്റെ സകലപാനപാത്രങ്ങളും പൊന്നുകൊണ്ടും ലെബാനോന് വനഗൃഹത്തിലെ ഉപകരണങ്ങളൊക്കെയും തങ്കംകൊണ്ടും ആയിരുന്നു; ഒന്നും വെള്ളികൊണ്ടല്ല; അതിന്നു ശലോമോന്റെ കാലത്തു വിലയില്ലായിരുന്നു.

21. And all king Solomon's drinking vessels [were of] gold, and all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon [were of] pure gold; none [were of] silver: it was not considered as any thing in the days of Solomon.

22. രാജാവിന്നു സമുദ്രത്തില് ഹീരാമിന്റെ കപ്പലുകളോടുകൂടെ തര്ശീശ് കപ്പലുകള് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; തര്ശീശ് കപ്പലുകള് മൂന്നു സംവത്സരത്തില് ഒരിക്കല് പൊന്നു, വെള്ളി, ആനക്കൊമ്പു, കുരങ്ങു, മയില് എന്നിവ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.

22. For the king had at sea a navy of Tharshish with the navy of Hiram: once in three years came the navy of Tharshish, bringing gold, and silver, ivory, and apes, and peacocks.

23. ഇങ്ങനെ ശലോമോന് രാജാവു ഭൂമിയിലെ സകലരാജാക്കന്മാരിലുംവെച്ചു ധനംകൊണ്ടും ജ്ഞാനംകൊണ്ടും മികെച്ചവനായിരുന്നു.

23. So king Solomon exceeded all the kings of the earth for riches and for wisdom.

24. ദൈവം ശലോമോന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തില് കൊടുത്ത ജ്ഞാനം കേള്ക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു സകലദേശക്കാരും അവന്റെ മുഖദര്ശനം അന്വേഷിച്ചുവന്നു.

24. And all the earth consulted Solomon, to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart.

25. അവരില് ഔരോരുത്തനും ആണ്ടുതോറും താന്താന്റെ കാഴ്ചയായി വെള്ളിപ്പാത്രം, പൊന് പാത്രം, വസ്ത്രം, ആയുധം, സുഗന്ധവര്ഗ്ഗം, കുതിര, കോവര്കഴുത എന്നിവ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.

25. And they brought every man his present, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and garments, and armour, and spices, horses, and mules, a rate year by year.

26. ശലോമോന് രഥങ്ങളെയും കുതിരച്ചേവകരെയും ശേഖരിച്ചുഅവന്നു ആയിരത്തിനാനൂറു രഥങ്ങളും പന്തീരായിരം കുതിരച്ചേവകരും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അവരെ അവന് രാജാവിന്റെ രഥനഗരങ്ങളിലും യെരൂശലേമില് രാജാവിന്റെ അടുക്കലും പാര്പ്പിച്ചിരുന്നു.

26. And Solomon gathered chariots and horsemen: and he had a thousand and four hundred chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen, whom he bestowed in the cities for chariots, and with the king at Jerusalem.

27. രാജാവു യെരൂശലേമില് വെള്ളിയെ പെരുപ്പംകൊണ്ടു കല്ലുപോലെയും ദേവദാരുവിനെ താഴ്വീതിയിലെ കാട്ടത്തിമരംപോലെയുമാക്കി.

27. And the king made silver [to be] in Jerusalem as stones, and cedars he made [to be] as the sycamore trees that [are] in the vale, for abundance.

28. ശലോമോന്നു കുതിരകളെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നതു മിസ്രയീമില്നിന്നായിരുന്നു; രാജാവിന്റെ കച്ചവടക്കാര് അവയെ കൂട്ടമായിട്ടു വിലെക്കു വാങ്ങിക്കൊണ്ടുവരും.

28. And Solomon had horses brought from Egypt, and linen yarn: the king's merchants received the linen yarn at a price.

29. അവര് മിസ്രയീമില്നിന്നു രഥം ഒന്നിന്നു അറുനൂറും കുതിര ഒന്നിന്നു നൂറ്റമ്പതും വെള്ളിശേക്കല് വില കൊടുത്തു വാങ്ങികൊണ്ടുവരും; അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ അവര് ഹിത്യരുടെ സകലരാജാക്കന്മാര്ക്കും അരാംരാജാക്കന്മാര്ക്കും കൊണ്ടുവന്നു കൊടുക്കും.

29. And a chariot came up and went out of Egypt for six hundred [shekels] of silver, and an horse for an hundred and fifty: and so for all the kings of the Hittites, and for the kings of Syria, did they bring [them] out by their means.
