1. ഇതൊക്കെയും തീര്ന്നശേഷം വന്നുകൂടിയിരുന്ന എല്ലായിസ്രായേലും യെഹൂദാനഗരങ്ങളിലേക്കു ചെന്നു സ്തംഭവിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ തകര്ത്തു എല്ലായെഹൂദയിലും ബെന്യാമീനിലും എഫ്രയീമിലും മനശ്ശെയിലും ഉള്ള അശേരാപ്രതിഷ്ഠകളെ വെട്ടി പുജാഗിരികളെയും ബലിപീഠങ്ങളെയും ഇടിച്ചു നശിപ്പിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു. പിന്നെ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് എല്ലാവരും ഔരോരുത്തന് താന്താന്റെ പട്ടണത്തിലേക്കും അവകാശത്തിലേക്കും മടങ്ങിപ്പോയി.

1. And when all these thinges were finished, all Israel that were found in the cities of Iudah, went out and brake the images, and cut downe the groues, and brake downe the hie places, and the altars thorowout all Iudah and Beniamin, in Ephraim also and Manasseh, vntil they had made an ende: afterwarde all the children of Israel returned euery man to his possession, into their owne cities.

2. അനന്തരം യെഹിസ്കീയാവു പുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെയും ലേവ്യരുടെയും ക്കുറുകളെ ക്കുറുക്കുറായി ഔരോരുത്തനെ അവനവന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷപ്രകാരം പുരോഹിതന്മാരെയും ലേവ്യരെയും ഹോമയാഗങ്ങളും സമാധാനയാഗങ്ങളും കഴിപ്പാനും യഹോവയുടെ പാളയത്തിന്റെ വാതിലുകളില് ശുശ്രൂഷിപ്പാനും സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്തു വാഴ്ത്തുവാനും നിയമിച്ചു.

2. And Hezekiah appoynted the courses of the Priests and Leuites by their turnes, euery man according to his office, both Priestes and Leuites, for the burnt offring and peace offrings, to minister and to giue thankes, and to prayse in the gates of the tentes of the Lord.

3. രാജാവു ഹോമയാഗങ്ങള്ക്കായിട്ടു, യഹോവയുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തില് എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ കാലത്തെയും വൈകുന്നേരത്തെയും ഹോമയാഗങ്ങള്ക്കായിട്ടും ശബ്ബത്തുകളിലും അമാവാസ്യകളിലും ഉത്സവങ്ങളിലും ഉള്ള ഹോമയാഗങ്ങള്ക്കായിട്ടും തന്നേ സ്വന്തവകയില്നിന്നു ഒരു ഔഹരി നിശ്ചയിച്ചു.

3. (And the Kings portion was of his owne substance for the burnt offrings, euen for ye burnt offrings of the morning and of the euening, and the burnt offrings for the Sabbaths, and for the new moones, and for the solemne feastes, as it is written in the Law of the Lord)

4. യെരൂശലേമില് പാര്ത്ത ജനത്തോടു അവന് പുരോഹിതന്മാരും ലേവ്യരും യഹോവയുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തില് ഉറ്റിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവരുടെ ഔഹരി കൊടുപ്പാന് കല്പിച്ചു.

4. He commanded also the people that dwelt in Ierusalem, to giue a part to the Priestes, and Leuites, that they might be encouraged in the Law of the Lord.

5. ഈ കല്പന പ്രസിദ്ധമായ ഉടനെ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് ധാന്യം, വീഞ്ഞ്, എണ്ണ, തേന് , വയലിലെ എല്ലാവിളവും എന്നിവയുടെ ആദ്യഫലം വളരെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; എല്ലാറ്റിന്റെയും ദശാംശവും അനവധി കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.

5. And when the commandement was spread, the children of Israel brought abundance of first fruites, of corne, wine, and oyle, and honie, and of all the increase of the fielde, and the tithes of all things brought they abundantly.

6. യെഹൂദാനഗരങ്ങളില് പാര്ത്ത യിസ്രായേല്യരും യെഹൂദ്യരും കൂടെ കാളകളിലും ആടുകളിലും ദശാംശവും തങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേക്കു നിവേദിച്ചിരുന്ന നിവേദിതവസ്തുക്കളില് ദശാംശവും കൊണ്ടുവന്നു കൂമ്പാരമായി കൂട്ടി.

6. And the children of Israel and Iudah that dwelt in ye cities of Iudah, they also brought the tithes of bullockes and sheepe, and the holy tithes which were consecrate vnto the Lord their God, and laide them on many heapes.

7. മൂന്നാം മാസത്തില് അവര് കൂമ്പാരം കൂട്ടിത്തുടങ്ങി ഏഴാം മാസത്തില് തീര്ത്തു.

7. In the thirde moneth they beganne to lay the foundation of the heapes, and finished them in the seuenth moneth.

8. യെഹിസ്കീയാവും പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും വന്നു കൂമ്പാരങ്ങളെ കണ്ടപ്പോള് അവര് യഹോവയെയും അവന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേലിനെയും വാഴ്ത്തി.

8. And when Hezekiah and the princes came, and saw the heapes, they blessed the Lord and his people Israel.

9. യെഹിസ്കീയാവു കൂമ്പാരങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു പുരോഹിതന്മാരോടും ലേവ്യരോടും ചോദിച്ചു.

9. And Hezekiah questioned with the Priests and the Leuites concerning the heapes.

10. അതിന്നു സാദോക്കിന്റെ ഗൃഹത്തില് മഹാപുരോഹിതനായ അസര്യ്യാവു അവനോടുജനം ഈ വഴിപാടുകളെ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു തുടങ്ങിയതുമുതല് ഞങ്ങള് തിന്നു തൃപ്തരായി വളരെ ശേഷിപ്പിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു; യഹോവ തന്റെ ജനത്തെ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ശേഷിച്ചതാകുന്നു ഈ വലിയ കൂമ്പാരം എന്നുത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

10. And Azariah the chiefe Priest of the house of Zadok answered him, and sayde, Since the people beganne to bring the offrings into the house of the Lord, we haue eaten and haue bene satisfied, and there is left in abundance: for the Lord hath blessed his people, and this abundance that is left.

11. അപ്പോള് യെഹിസ്കീയാവു യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തില് അറകള് ഒരുക്കുവാന് കല്പിച്ചു;

11. And Hezekiah commanded to prepare chambers in the house of the Lord: and they prepared them,

12. അങ്ങനെ അവര് ഒരുക്കിയശേഷം വഴിപാടുകളും ദശാംശങ്ങളും നിവേദിതവസ്തുക്കളും വിശ്വസ്തതയോടെ അകത്തുകൊണ്ടുവന്നുലേവ്യനായ കോനന്യാവു അവേക്കു മേല്വിചാരകനും അവന്റെ അനുജന് ശിമെയി രണ്ടാമനും ആയിരുന്നു.

12. And caryed in the first fruites, and the tithes, and the dedicate things faithfully: and ouer them was Conaniah the Leuite, the chiefe, and Shimei his brother the seconde.

13. യെഹിസ്കീയാരാജാവിന്റെയും ദൈവാലയപ്രമാണിയായ അസര്യ്യാവിന്റെയും ആജ്ഞപ്രകാരം യെഹീയേല്, അസസ്യാവു, നഹത്ത്, അസാഹേല്, യെരീമോത്ത്, യോസാബാദ്, എലീയേല്, യിസ്മഖ്യാവു, മഹത്ത്, ബെനായാവു എന്നിവര് കോനന്യാവിന്റെയും അവന്റെ അനുജന് ശിമെയിയുടെയും കീഴില് വിചാരകന്മാരായിരുന്നു.

13. And Iehiel, and Azariah, and Nahath, and Asahel, and Ierimoth, and Iozabad, and Eliel, and Ismachiah, and Mahath, and Benaiah were ouerseers by the appointment of Conaniah, and Shimei his brother, and by the commandement of Hezekiah the King, and of Azariah the chiefe of the house of God.

14. കിഴക്കെ വാതില് കാവല്ക്കാരനായി ലേവ്യനായ യിമ്നയുടെ മകനായ കോരേ യഹോവയുടെ വഴിപാടുകളെയും അതിവിശുദ്ധവസ്തുക്കളെയും വിഭാഗിച്ചുകൊടുപ്പാന് ദൈവത്തിന്നുള്ള ഔദാര്യദാനങ്ങള്ക്കു മേല്വിചാരകനായിരുന്നു.

14. And Kore the sonne of Imnah the Leuite porter towarde the East, was ouer the things that were willingly offred vnto God, to distribute the oblations of the Lord, and the holy things that were consecrate.

15. അവന്റെ കീഴില് തങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാര്ക്കും, വലിയവര്ക്കും ചെറിയവര്ക്കും ക്കുറുക്കുറായി കൊടുപ്പാന് ഏദെന് , മിന്യാമീന് , യേശുവ, ശെമയ്യാവു, അമര്യ്യാവു, ശെഖന്യാവു എന്നിവര് പുരോഹിതനഗരങ്ങളില് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥന്മാരായിരുന്നു.

15. And at his hande were Eden, and Miniamin, and Ieshua, and Shemaiah, Amariah, and Shechaniah, in the cities of the Priestes, to distribute with fidelitie to their brethren by courses, both to the great and small,

16. മൂന്നു വയസ്സുമുതല് മേലോട്ടു വംശാവലിയില് ചാര്ത്തപ്പെട്ടിരുന്ന ആണുങ്ങളായി ഔരോ ദിവസത്തിന്റെ ആവശ്യംപോലെ ക്കുറുക്കുറായി താന്താങ്ങളുടെ തവണെക്കു ശുശ്രൂഷെക്കായിട്ടു

16. Their daily portion: beside their generation being males from three yeere olde and aboue, euen to all that entred into the house of the Lord to their office in their charge, according to their courses:

17. ആലയത്തില് വരുന്നവരെയും പുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെ വംശാവലിയില് പിതൃഭവനംപിതൃഭവനമായി ചാര്ത്തപ്പെട്ടവരെയും ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതല് മേലോട്ടു ക്കുറുക്കുറായി താന്താങ്ങളുടെ തവണമുറെക്കു ചാര്ത്തപ്പെട്ട ലേവ്യരെയും ഒഴിച്ചിരുന്നു.

17. Both to the generation of the Priestes after the house of their fathers, and to the Leuites from twentie yeere olde and aboue, according to their charge in their courses:

18. സര്വ്വസഭയിലും അവരുടെ എല്ലാകുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളും ഭാര്യമാരും പുത്രന്മാരും പുത്രിമാരുമായി വംശാവലിയില് ചാര്ത്തപ്പെട്ടവര്ക്കുംകൂടെ ഔഹരി കൊടുക്കേണ്ടതായിരുന്നു. അവര് തങ്ങളുടെ ഉദ്യോഗങ്ങള്ക്കൊത്തവണ്ണം തങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ വിശുദ്ധിയില് വിശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചുപോന്നു.

18. And to the generation of all their children, their wiues, and their sonnes and their daughters throughout all ye Congregation: for by their fidelitie are they partakers of the holy things.

19. പുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെ സകലപുരുഷപ്രജെക്കും ലേവ്യരില് വംശാവലിയായി ചാര്ത്തപ്പെട്ട എല്ലാവര്ക്കും ഔഹരികൊടുക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവരുടെ പട്ടണങ്ങളുടെ പുല്പുറപ്രദേശങ്ങളിലെ അഹരോന്യരായ പുരോഹിതന്മാര്ക്കും ഔരോ പട്ടണത്തില് പേര്വിവരം പറഞ്ഞിരുന്ന പുരുഷന്മാരുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

19. Also to the sonnes of Aaron, the Priestes, which were in the fieldes and suburbes of their cities, in euery citie the men that were appointed by names, shoulde giue portions to all the males of the Priestes, and to all the generation of the Leuites.

20. യെഹിസ്കീയാവു യെഹൂദയില് ഒക്കെയും ഇവ്വണ്ണം ചെയ്തു; തന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് നന്മയും ന്യായവും സത്യവും ആയുള്ളതു പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചു.

20. And thus did Hezekiah throughout al Iudah, and did well, and vprightly, and truely before the Lord his God.

21. അവന് ദൈവാലയത്തിലെ ശുശ്രൂഷ സംബന്ധിച്ചും ന്യായപ്രമാണവും കല്പനയും സംബന്ധിച്ചും തന്റെ ദൈവത്തെ അന്വേഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ആരംഭിച്ച സകലപ്രവൃത്തിയിലും പൂര്ണ്ണഹൃദയത്തോടെ പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചു കൃതാര്ത്ഥനായിരുന്നു.

21. And in all the workes that he began for the seruice of the house of God, both in the Law and in the commandements, to seeke his God, he did it with all his heart, and prospered.
