1. യിരെമ്യാമുഖാന്തരം ഉണ്ടായ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു നിവൃത്തിയാകേണ്ടതിന്നു പാര്സിരാജാവായ കോരെശിന്റെ ഒന്നാം ആണ്ടില് യഹോവ പാര്സിരാജാവായ കോരെശിന്റെ മനസ്സിനെ ഉണര്ത്തീട്ടു അവന് തന്റെ രാജ്യത്തു എല്ലാടവും ഒരു വിളംബരം പ്രസിദ്ധമാക്കി രേഖാമൂലവും പരസ്യം ചെയ്തതെന്തെന്നാല്

1. Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, in order to fulfill the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he sent a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and also [put it] in writing, saying:

2. പാര്സിരാജാവായ കോരെശ് ഇപ്രകാരം കല്പിക്കുന്നുസ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തിലെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഭൂമിയിലെ സകലരാജ്യങ്ങളെയും എനിക്കു തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; യെഹൂദയിലെ യെരൂശലേമില് അവന്നു ഒരു ആലയം പണിവാന് എന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

2. 'Thus says Cyrus king of Persia, 'The LORD, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and He has appointed me to build Him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah.

3. നിങ്ങളില് അവന്റെ ജനമായിട്ടു ആരെങ്കിലും ഉണ്ടെങ്കില് അവന്റെ ദൈവം അവനോടു കൂടെ ഇരിക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ; അവന് യെഹൂദയിലെ യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു യാത്രപുറപ്പെട്ടു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേക്കു ആലയം പണിയട്ടെ; അവനല്ലോ യെരൂശലേമിലെ ദൈവം.

3. 'Whoever there is among you of all His people, may his God be with him! Let him go up to Jerusalem which is in Judah and rebuild the house of the LORD, the God of Israel; He is the God who is in Jerusalem.

4. ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ഏവന്നും അവന് പ്രവാസിയായി പാര്ക്കുംന്ന ഇടത്തൊക്കെയും അതതു സ്ഥലത്തിലെ സ്വദേശികള് പൊന്നു, വെള്ളി, മറ്റു സാധനങ്ങള്, കന്നുകാലി എന്നിവയാലും യെരൂശലേമിലെ ദൈവാലയം വകെക്കായി ഔദാര്യദാനങ്ങളാലും സഹായം ചെയ്യേണം.

4. 'Every survivor, at whatever place he may live, let the men of that place support him with silver and gold, with goods and cattle, together with a freewill offering for the house of God which is in Jerusalem.''

5. അങ്ങനെ യെഹൂദയുടെയും ബെന്യാമീന്റെയും പിതൃഭവനത്തലവന്മാരും പുരോഹിതന്മാരും ലേവ്യരും ദൈവം ഉണര്ത്തിയ ഏവനും യെരൂശലേമില് യഹോവയുടെ ആലയം പണിവാന് പോകേണ്ടതിന്നു യാത്രപുറപ്പെട്ടു.

5. Then the heads of fathers' [households] of Judah and Benjamin and the priests and the Levites arose, even everyone whose spirit God had stirred to go up and rebuild the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem.

6. അവരുടെ ചുറ്റും പാര്ത്തവര് എല്ലാവരും കൊടുത്ത ഔദാര്യദാനങ്ങളൊക്കെയും കൂടാതെ വെള്ളികൊണ്ടുള്ള ഉപകരണങ്ങള്, പൊന്നു മറ്റുസാധനങ്ങള്, കന്നുകാലികള്, വിശേഷവസ്തുക്കള് എന്നിവകൊണ്ടും അവരെ സഹായിച്ചു.

6. All those about them encouraged them with articles of silver, with gold, with goods, with cattle and with valuables, aside from all that was given as a freewill offering.

7. നെബൂഖദ് നേസര് യെരൂശലേമില്നിന്നു കൊണ്ടുപോയി തന്റെ ദേവന്മാരുടെ ക്ഷേത്രത്തില് വെച്ചിരുന്ന യഹോവാലയംവക ഉപകരണങ്ങളും കോരെശ് രാജാവു പുറത്തേക്കു എടുപ്പിച്ചു.

7. Also King Cyrus brought out the articles of the house of the LORD, which Nebuchadnezzar had carried away from Jerusalem and put in the house of his gods;

8. പാര്സിരാജാവായ കോരെശ് ഭണ്ഡാരവിചാരകനായ മിത്രെദാത്ത് മുഖാന്തരം അവ പുറത്തേക്കു എടുപ്പിച്ചു യെഹൂദാപ്രഭുവായ ശേശ്ബസ്സരിന്നു എണ്ണിക്കൊടുപ്പിച്ചു. അവയുടെ എണ്ണം ആവിതുപൊന് താലം മുപ്പതു, വെള്ളിത്താലം ആയിരം, കത്തി ഇരുപത്തൊമ്പതു, പൊന് പാത്രം മുപ്പതു,

8. and Cyrus, king of Persia, had them brought out by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and he counted them out to Sheshbazzar, the prince of Judah.

9. രണ്ടാം തരത്തില് വെള്ളിപ്പാത്രം നാനൂറ്റിപ്പത്തു, മറ്റുള്ള ഉപകരണങ്ങള് ആയിരം.

9. Now this [was] their number: 30 gold dishes, 1,000 silver dishes, 29 duplicates;

10. പൊന്നും വെള്ളിയും കൊണ്ടുള്ള ഉപകരണങ്ങള് ആകെ അയ്യായിരത്തിനാനൂറു ആയിരുന്നു; പ്രവാസികളെ ബാബേലില്നിന്നു യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോകുമ്പോള് ഇവയൊക്കെയും ശേശ്ബസ്സര് കൊണ്ടുപോയി.

10. 30 gold bowls, 410 silver bowls of a second [kind and] 1,000 other articles.
