1. A Song of the Ascents. In Jehovah's turning back [to] the captivity of Zion, We have been as dreamers.

2. യഹോവ സീയോന്റെ പ്രവാസികളെ മടക്കിവരുത്തിയപ്പോള് ഞങ്ങള് സ്വപ്നം കാണുന്നവരെപ്പോലെ ആയിരുന്നു.

2. Then filled [with] laughter is our mouth, And our tongue [with] singing, Then do they say among nations, 'Jehovah did great things with these.'

3. അന്നു ഞങ്ങളുടെ വായില് ചിരിയും ഞങ്ങളുടെ നാവിന്മേല് ആര്പ്പും നിറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു. യഹോവ അവരില് വങ്കാര്യങ്ങളെ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില് അന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

3. Jehovah did great things with us, We have been joyful.

4. യഹോവ ഞങ്ങളില് വങ്കാര്യങ്ങളെ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞങ്ങള് സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നു.

4. Turn again, O Jehovah, [to] our captivity, As streams in the south.

5. യഹോവേ, തെക്കെനാട്ടിലെ തോടുകളെപ്പോലെ ഞങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവാസികളെ മടക്കിവരുത്തേണമേ.
