1. ആരോഹണഗീതം

1. The song of the stairs. Blessed are all they that fear the LORD, and walk in his ways.

2. യഹോവയെ ഭയപ്പെട്ടു, അവന്റെ വഴികളില് നടക്കുന്ന ഏവനും ഭാഗ്യവാന് ;

2. For thou shalt eat the labours of thine own hands: O well is thee, happy art thou.

3. നിന്റെ കൈകളുടെ അദ്ധ്വാനഫലം നീ തിന്നും; നീ ഭാഗ്യവാന് ; നിനക്കു നന്മ വരും.

3. Thy wife shall be as the(a) fruitful vine upon the walls of thy house. Thy children like the Olive branches, round about thy table.

4. നിന്റെ ഭാര്യ നിന്റെ വീട്ടിന്നകത്തു ഫലപ്രദമായ മുന്തിരിവള്ളിപോലെയും നിന്റെ മക്കള് നിന്റെ മേശെക്കു ചുറ്റും ഒലിവുതൈകള്പോലെയും ഇരിക്കും.

4. Lo, thus shall the man be blessed, that feareth the LORD.

5. യഹോവാഭക്തനായ പുരുഷന് ഇങ്ങനെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടവനാകും.

5. The LORD shall so bless thee out of Sion, that thou shalt see Jerusalem in prosperity all thy life long.

6. യഹോവ സീയോനില്നിന്നു നിന്നെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കും; നിന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലമൊക്കെയും നീ യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ നന്മയെ കാണും.
