1. യഹോവേ, ന്യായത്തെ കേള്ക്കേണമേ, എന്റെ നിലവിളിയെ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കേണമേ. കപടമില്ലാത്ത അധരങ്ങളില്നിന്നുള്ള എന്റെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥനയെ ചെവിക്കൊള്ളേണമേ.

1. The prayer of Dauid. Heare the right, O Lord, consider my crye: hearken vnto my prayer of lips vnfained.

2. എനിക്കുള്ള വിധി നിന്റെ സന്നിധിയില് നിന്നു പുറപ്പെടട്ടെ; നിന്റെ കണ്ണു നേര് കാണുമാറാകട്ടെ.

2. Let my sentence come forth from thy presence, and let thine eyes beholde equitie.

3. നീ എന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തെ ശോധനചെയ്തു രാത്രിയില് എന്നെ സന്ദര്ശിച്ചു; നീ എന്നെ പരീക്ഷിച്ചു ദുരുദ്ദേശമൊന്നും കണ്ടെത്തുന്നില്ല; എന്റെ വായ് ലംഘനം ചെയ്കയില്ല എന്നു ഞാന് ഉറെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

3. Thou hast prooued and visited mine heart in the night: thou hast tryed me, and foundest nothing: for I was purposed that my mouth should not offend.

4. മനുഷ്യരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ കണ്ടിട്ടു ഞാന് നിന്റെ അധരങ്ങളുടെ വചനത്താല് നിഷ്ഠൂരന്റെ പാതകളെ സൂക്ഷിച്ചൊഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

4. Concerning the workes of men, by the wordes of thy lips I kept mee from the paths of the cruell man.

5. എന്റെ നടപ്പു നിന്റെ ചുവടുകളില് തന്നേ ആയിരുന്നു; എന്റെ കാല് വഴുതിയതുമില്ല.

5. Stay my steps in thy paths, that my feete doe not slide.

6. ദൈവമേ, ഞാന് നിന്നോടു അപേക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ എനിക്കുത്തരമരുളുമല്ലോ; നിന്റെ ചെവി എങ്കലേക്കു ചായിച്ചു എന്റെ അപേക്ഷ കേള്ക്കേണമേ.

6. I haue called vpon thee: surely thou wilt heare me, O God: incline thine eare to me, and hearken vnto my wordes.

7. നിന്നെ ശരണമാക്കുന്നവരെ അവരോടു എതിര്ക്കുംന്നവരുടെ കയ്യില്നിന്നു നിന്റെ വലങ്കയ്യാല് രക്ഷിക്കുന്നവനായുള്ളോവേ, നിന്റെ അത്ഭുതകാരുണ്യം കാണിക്കേണമേ.

7. Shewe thy marueilous mercies, thou that art the Sauiour of them that trust in thee, from such as resist thy right hand.

8. കണ്ണിന്റെ കൃഷ്ണമണിപോലെ എന്നെ കാക്കേണമേ; എന്നെ കൊള്ളയിടുന്ന ദുഷ്ടന്മാരും

8. Keepe me as the apple of the eye: hide me vnder the shadowe of thy wings,

9. എന്നെ ചുറ്റിവളയുന്ന പ്രാണശത്രുക്കളും എന്നെ പിടിക്കാതവണ്ണം നിന്റെ ചിറകിന്റെ നിഴലില് എന്നെ മറെച്ചുകൊള്ളേണമേ.

9. From the wicked that oppresse mee, from mine enemies, which compasse me round about for my soule.

10. അവര് തങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയത്തെ അടെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; വായികൊണ്ടു വമ്പു പറയുന്നു.

10. They are inclosed in their owne fat, and they haue spoken proudely with their mouth.

11. അവര് ഇപ്പോള് ഞങ്ങളുടെ കാലടി തുടര്ന്നു ഞങ്ങളെ വളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞങ്ങളെ നിലത്തു തള്ളിയിടുവാന് ദൃഷ്ടിവെക്കുന്നു.

11. They haue compassed vs now in our steps: they haue set their eyes to bring downe to the ground:

12. കടിച്ചുകീറുവാന് കൊതിക്കുന്ന സിംഹംപോലെയും മറവിടങ്ങളില് പതിയിരിക്കുന്ന ബാലസിംഹംപോലെയും തന്നേ.

12. Like as a lyon that is greedy of pray, and as it were a lyons whelp lurking in secret places.

13. യഹോവേ, എഴുന്നേറ്റു അവനോടെതിര്ത്തു അവനെ തള്ളിയിടേണമേ. യഹോവേ, എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ നിന്റെ വാള്കൊണ്ടു ദുഷ്ടന്റെ കയ്യില്നിന്നും

13. Vp Lord, disappoint him: cast him downe: deliuer my soule from the wicked with thy sworde,

14. തൃക്കൈകൊണ്ടു ലൌകികപുരുഷന്മാരുടെ വശത്തുനിന്നും വിടുവിക്കേണമേ; അവരുടെ ഔഹരി ഈ ആയുസ്സില് അത്രേ; നിന്റെ സമ്പത്തുകൊണ്ടു നീ അവരുടെ വയറു നിറെക്കുന്നു; അവര്ക്കും പുത്രസമ്പത്തു ധാരാളം ഉണ്ടു; തങ്ങളുടെ ധനശിഷ്ടം അവര് കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങള്ക്കു വെച്ചേക്കുന്നു.

14. From men by thine hand, O Lord, from men of the world, who haue their portion in this life, whose bellies thou fillest with thine hid treasure: their children haue ynough, and leaue the rest of their substance for their children.

15. ഞാനോ, നീതിയില് നിന്റെ മുഖത്തെ കാണും; ഞാന് ഉണരുമ്പോള് നിന്റെ രൂപം കണ്ടു തൃപ്തനാകും.

15. But I will beholde thy face in righteousnes, and when I awake, I shalbe satisfied with thine image.
