1. ദൈവം ഇല്ല എന്നു മൂഢന് തന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തില് പറയന്നു; അവര് വഷളന്മാരായി, മ്ളേച്ഛമായ നീതികേടു പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നു; നന്മ ചെയ്യുന്നവന് ആരുമില്ല.
റോമർ 3:10-12

1. To the chief Musician upon Mahalath, Maschil, {A Psalm} of David. The fool hath said in his heart, {There is} no God. They are corrupt, and have done abominable iniquity: {there is} none that doeth good.

2. ദൈവത്തെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്ന ബുദ്ധിമാന് ഉണ്ടോ എന്നു കാണ്മാന് ദൈവം സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരെ നോക്കുന്നു.

2. God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were {any} that did understand, that did seek God.

3. എല്ലാവരും പിന് വാങ്ങി ഒരുപോലെ കൊള്ളരുതാത്തവരായിത്തീര്ന്നു; നന്മചെയ്യുന്നവനില്ല; ഒരുത്തന് പോലും ഇല്ല.

3. Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; {there is} none that doeth good, no, not one.

4. നീതികേടു പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നവര് അറിയുന്നില്ലയോ? അപ്പം തിന്നുന്നതുപോലെ അവര് എന്റെ ജനത്തെ തിന്നുകളയുന്നു; ദൈവത്തോടു അവര് പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കുന്നില്ല.

4. Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people {as} they eat bread! they have not called upon God.

5. ഭയമില്ലാതിരുന്നേടത്തു അവര്ക്കും മഹാഭയമുണ്ടായി; നിന്റെ നേരെ പാളയമിറങ്ങിയവന്റെ അസ്ഥികളെ ദൈവം ചിതറിച്ചുവല്ലോ. ദൈവം അവരെ തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞതുകൊണ്ടു നീ അവരെ ലജ്ജിപ്പിച്ചു.

5. There they were in great fear, {where} no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth {against} thee: thou hast put {them} to shame, because God hath despised them.

6. സീയോനില്നിന്നു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ രക്ഷവന്നെങ്കില്! ദൈവം തന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ സ്ഥിതി മാറ്റുമ്പോള് യാക്കോബ് സന്തോഷിക്കയും യിസ്രായേല് ആനന്ദിക്കയും ചെയ്യും. 6. O that the salvation of Israel {were come} out of Zion! when God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, {and} Israel shall be glad.
