1. ദൈവമേ, നിന്റെ നാമത്താല് എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ ശക്തിയാല് എനിക്കു ന്യായം പാലിച്ചുതരേണമേ.

2. ദൈവമേ, എന്റെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥന കേള്ക്കേണമേ; എന്റെ വായിലെ വാക്കുകളെ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കേണമേ.

2. O God! Hear my prayer, Give ear to the sayings of my mouth;

3. അന്യജാതിക്കാര് എന്നോടു എതിര്ത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; ഘോരന്മാര് എനിക്കു ജീവഹാനി വരുത്തുവാന് നോക്കുന്നു; അവര് ദൈവത്തെ തങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പാകെ വെച്ചിട്ടുമില്ല.

3. For, aliens, have risen up against me, And, men of violence, have sought my life, They have not set God before them. Selah.

4. ഇതാ, ദൈവം എന്റെ സഹായകനാകുന്നു; കര്ത്താവു എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ താങ്ങുന്നവരോടു കൂടെ ഉണ്ടു.

4. Lo! God, is bringing me help, My Lord, is with the upholders of my life;

5. അവന് എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കള്ക്കു തിന്മ പകരം ചെയ്യും; നിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തതയാല് അവരെ സംഹരിച്ചുകളയേണമേ.

5. Let him turn back the mischief upon mine adversaries, In thy faithfulness, destroy them!

6. സ്വമേധാദാനത്തോടെ ഞാന് നിനക്കു ഹനനയാഗം കഴിക്കും; യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ നാമം നല്ലതു എന്നു ചൊല്ലി ഞാന് അതിന്നു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യും.

6. With a freewill-offering, will I sacrifice unto thee, I will praise thy Name, O Yahweh, for it is good;

7. അവന് എന്നെ സകലകഷ്ടത്തില്നിന്നും വിടുവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ കണ്ണു എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ കണ്ടു രസിക്കും. സംഗീതപ്രമാണിക്കു; തന്ത്രിനാദത്തോടെ ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു ധ്യാനം.

7. For, out of all distress, hath he rescued me, And, upon my foes, hath, mine own eye, looked.
