1. ദൈവമേ, എന്റെ നിലവിളി കേള്ക്കേണമേ. എന്റെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥന ശ്രദ്ധിക്കേണമേ.

1. To the chanter upon Neginoth, of David. Hear my crying (O God) give heed unto my prayer.

2. എന്റെ ഹൃദയം ക്ഷീണിക്കുമ്പോള് ഞാന് ഭൂമിയുടെ അറ്റത്തുനിന്നു നിന്നെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കും; എനിക്കു അത്യുന്നതമായ പാറയിങ്കലേക്കു എന്നെ നടത്തേണമേ.

2. From the ends of the earth will I call unto thee, when my heart is in trouble:

3. നീ എനിക്കൊരു സങ്കേതവും ശത്രുവിന്റെ നേരെ ഉറപ്പുള്ള ഗോപുരവും ആയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

3. Oh set me up upon an high rock. For thou art my hope, a strong tower for me against the enemy.

4. ഞാന് നിന്റെ കൂടാരത്തില് എന്നേക്കും വസിക്കും; നിന്റെ ചിറകിന് മറവില് ഞാന് ശരണം പ്രാപിക്കും. സേലാ.

4. I will dwell in thy tabernacle for ever, that I may be safe under the covering of thy wings. Selah.

5. ദൈവമേ, നീ എന്റെ നേര്ച്ചകളെ കേട്ടു, നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നവരുടെ അവകാശം എനിക്കു തന്നുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

5. For thou, O Lord,(God) hast heard my desires, thou hast given an heritage unto those that fear thy name.

6. നീ രാജാവിന്റെ ആയുസ്സിനെ ദീര്ഘമാക്കും; അവന്റെ സംവത്സരങ്ങള് തലമുറതലമുറയോളം ഇരിക്കും.

6. Thou shalt grant the king a long life, that his years may endure thorowout all generations.

7. അവന് എന്നേക്കും ദൈവസന്നിധിയില് വസിക്കും; അവനെ പരിപാലിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ദയയും വിശ്വസ്തതയും കല്പിക്കേണമേ,

7. That he may dwell before God for ever: Oh let thy loving mercy and faithfulness preserve him.

8. അങ്ങനെ ഞാന് തിരുനാമത്തെ എന്നേക്കും കീര്ത്തിക്കയും എന്റെ നേര്ച്ചകളെ നാള്തോറും കഴിക്കയും ചെയ്യും. (സംഗീതപ്രമാണിക്കു; യെദൂഥൂന്യരാഗത്തില്; ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീര്ത്തനം.)

8. So will I allway sing praises unto thy name, that I may daily perform my vows.
