1. ദൈവമേ, മിണ്ടാതെയിരിക്കരുതേ; ദൈവമേ, മൌനമായും സ്വസ്ഥമായും ഇരിക്കരുതേ.

1. i1 [A Song or Psalm of Asaph.] i0 par Do not keep silent, O God! Do not hold Your peace, and do not be still, O Mighty God!

2. ഇതാ, നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കള് കലഹിക്കുന്നു; നിന്നെ പകെക്കുന്നവര് തല ഉയര്ത്തുന്നു.

2. For lo, Your enemies roar; and those who hate You have lifted up their head.

6. The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab and the Hagrites;

7. Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;

9. Deal with them as with Midian, as with Sisera, as with Jabin at the Brook Kishon,

10. who perished at En Dor, who became as dung upon the land.

11. അവരുടെ കുലീനന്മാരെ ഔരേബ്, സേബ് എന്നവരെപ്പോലെയും അവരുടെ സകലപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെയും സേബഹ്, സല്മൂന്നാ എന്നവരെപ്പോലെയും ആക്കേണമേ.

11. Make their nobles like Oreb and like Zeeb, yea, all their anointed like Zebah and Zalmunna,

12. നാം ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നിവാസങ്ങളെ നമുക്കു അവകാശമാക്കിക്കൊള്ളുക എന്നു അവര് പറഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ.

12. who have said, Let us take for ourselves the pastures of God for a possession.

13. എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, അവരെ ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റത്തെ പൊടിപോലെയും കാറ്റത്തു പാറുന്ന പതിര്പോലെയും ആക്കേണമേ.

13. O my God, make them like the whirling dust, like the chaff before the wind!

14. വനത്തെ ദഹിപ്പിക്കുന്ന തീപോലെയും പര്വ്വതങ്ങളെ ചുട്ടുകളയുന്ന അഗ്നിജ്വാലപോലെയും

14. As the fire burns the forest, and as the flame sets the mountains on fire,

15. നിന്റെ കൊടുങ്കാറ്റുകൊണ്ടു അവരെ പിന്തുടരേണമേ; നിന്റെ ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റുകൊണ്ടു അവരെ ഭ്രമിപ്പിക്കേണമേ.

15. so pursue them with Your tempest, and terrify them with Your storm.

16. യഹോവേ, അവര് തിരുനാമത്തെ അന്വേഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ അവരുടെ മുഖത്തെ ലജ്ജാപൂര്ണ്ണമാക്കേണമേ.

16. Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek Your name, O Jehovah.

17. Let them be ashamed and dismayed forever; yea, let them be abashed and perish,

18. that they may know that You, whose name alone is Jehovah, are the Most High over all the earth.
