1. യഹോവേക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യുന്നതും അത്യുന്നതനായുള്ളോവേ, നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ കീര്ത്തിക്കുന്നതും

1. i1 [A Psalm or Song for the sabbath day.] i0 par It is good to give thanks to Jehovah, and to make music to Your name, O Most High;

2. പത്തു കമ്പിയുള്ള വാദിത്രംകൊണ്ടും വീണകൊണ്ടും ഗംഭീരസ്വരമുള്ള കിന്നരംകൊണ്ടും

2. to declare Your lovingkindness in the morning, and Your faithfulness every night,

3. രാവിലെ നിന്റെ ദയയേയും രാത്രിതോറും നിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തതയേയും വര്ണ്ണിക്കുന്നതും നല്ലതു.

3. on an instrument of ten strings, on the lute, and on the harp, with resounding music.

4. യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികൊണ്ടു നീ എന്നെ സന്തോഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് നിന്റെ കൈകളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ കുറിച്ചു ഘോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിക്കുന്നു.

4. For You, Jehovah, have made me glad through Your work; I will triumph in the works of Your hands.

5. യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികള് എത്ര വലിയവയാകുന്നു; നിന്റെ വിചാരങ്ങള് അത്യന്തം അഗാധമായവ തന്നേ.

5. O Jehovah, how great are Your works! Your thoughts are very deep.

6. മൃഗപ്രായനായ മനുഷ്യന് അതു അറിയുന്നില്ല; മൂഢന് അതു ഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.

6. A brutish man does not know, nor does a fool understand this.

7. ദുഷ്ടന്മാര് പുല്ലുപോലെ മുളെക്കുന്നതും നീതികേടു പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നവരൊക്കെയും തഴെക്കുന്നതും എന്നേക്കും നശിച്ചുപോകേണ്ടതിന്നാകുന്നു.

7. When the wicked spring up like grass, and when all the workers of iniquity blossom, it is that they may be destroyed forever.

8. നീയോ, യഹോവേ, എന്നേക്കും അത്യുന്നതനാകുന്നു.

8. But You, Jehovah, are on high forever.

9. യഹോവേ, ഇതാ, നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കള്, ഇതാ, നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കള് നശിച്ചുപോകുന്നു; നീതികേടു പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്ന ഏവരും ചിതറിപ്പോകും.

9. For lo, Your enemies, O Jehovah, for lo, Your enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.

10. എങ്കിലും എന്റെ കൊമ്പു നീ കാട്ടുപോത്തിന്റെ കൊമ്പുപോലെ ഉയര്ത്തും; പുതിയ എണ്ണ എന്നെ തേപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

10. But my horn You have exalted like an oryx; I have been anointed with fresh oil.

11. എന്റെ കണ്ണു എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ കണ്ടും എന്റെ ചെവി എന്നോടു എതിര്ക്കുംന്ന ദുഷ്കര്മ്മികളെക്കുറിച്ചു കേട്ടും രസിക്കും.

11. My eye also shall see my desire upon my enemies; my ears shall hear my desire upon the wicked who rise up against me.

12. നീതിമാന് പനപോലെ തഴെക്കും; ലെബാനോനിലെ ദേവദാരുപോലെ വളരും.

12. The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

13. യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തില് നടുതലയായവര് നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പ്രാകാരങ്ങളില് തഴെക്കും.

13. Those who are planted in the house of Jehovah shall flourish in the courts of our God.

14. വാര്ദ്ധക്യത്തിലും അവര് ഫലം കായിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കും; അവര് പുഷ്ടിവെച്ചും പച്ചപിടിച്ചും ഇരിക്കും.

14. They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fat and luxuriant;

15. യഹോവ നേരുള്ളവന് , അവന് എന്റെ പാറ, അവനില് നീതികേടില്ല എന്നു കാണിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നെ.

15. to declare that Jehovah is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.
