1. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു എന്തെന്നാല്മുമ്പിലത്തേവ പോലെ രണ്ടു കല്പലക ചെത്തിക്കൊള്ക; എന്നാല് നീ പൊട്ടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞ മുമ്പിലത്തെ പലകയില് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന വചനങ്ങളെ ഞാന് ആ പലകയില് എഴുതും.
2 കൊരിന്ത്യർ 3:3

1. And the Lord said to Moses, Hew for yourself two tablets of stone, like the first [ones] were, and come up to Me on the mountain; and I will write upon the tablets the words which were on the first tablets, which you broke.

2. നീ രാവിലേ ഒരുങ്ങി രാവിലേ തന്നേ സീനായിപര്വ്വതത്തില് കയറി; പര്വ്വതത്തിന്റെ മുകളില് എന്റെ സന്നിധിയില് വരേണം.

2. And be ready by the morning, and you shall go up to Mount Sinai, and you shall stand there before Me on the top of the mountain.

3. നിന്നോടു കൂടെ ആരും കയറരുതു. പര്വ്വതത്തിലെങ്ങും ആരെയും കാണരുതു. പര്വ്വതത്തിന് അരികെ ആടുകളോ കന്നുകാലികളോ മേയുകയും അരുതു.

3. And let no one go up with you, nor be seen in all the mountain; and let not the sheep and oxen feed near that mountain.

4. അങ്ങനെ മോശെ മുമ്പിലത്തേവ പോലെ രണ്ടു കല്പലക ചെത്തി, അതികാലത്തു എഴുന്നേറ്റു യഹോവ തന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോല സീനായിപര്വ്വതത്തില് കയറി; കാല്പലക രണ്ടും കയ്യില് എടുത്തുകൊണ്ടു പോയി

4. And [Moses] cut out two tablets of stone, as also the first [ones] were; and Moses, having arisen early, went up to Mount Sinai, as the Lord appointed him; and Moses took the two tablets of stone.

5. അപ്പോള് യഹോവ മേഘത്തില് ഇറങ്ങി അവിടെ അവന്റെ അടുക്കല് നിന്നു യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തെ ഘോഷിച്ചു.

5. And the Lord descended in a cloud, and stood near him there, and called by the name of the Lord.

6. യഹോവ അവന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ കടന്നു ഘോഷിച്ചതു എന്തെന്നാല്യഹോവ, യഹോവയായ ദൈവം, കരുണയും കൃപയുമുള്ളവന് ; ദീര്ഘക്ഷമയും മഹാദയയും വിശ്വസ്തതയുമുള്ളവന് .
യാക്കോബ് 5:11

6. And the Lord passed by before his face, and proclaimed, The Lord God, gracious and merciful, longsuffering and very compassionate, and true,

7. ആയിരം ആയിരത്തിന്നു ദയ പാലിക്കുന്നവന് ; അകൃത്യവും അതിക്രമവും പാപവും ക്ഷമിക്കുന്നവന് ; കുറ്റമുള്ളവനെ വെറുതെ വിടാതെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ അകൃത്യം മക്കളുടെമേലും മക്കളുടെ മക്കളുടെമേലും മൂന്നാമത്തെയും നാലാമത്തെയും തലമുറയോളം സന്ദര്ശിക്കുന്നവന് .

7. and keeping justice and mercy for thousands, taking away iniquity and unrighteousness and sins; and He will not clear the guilty; bringing the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and to the children's children, to the third and fourth generation.

8. എന്നാറെ മോശെ ബദ്ധപ്പെട്ടു സാഷ്ടാംഗം വീണു നമസ്കരിച്ചു

8. An Moses hastened, and bowed to the earth and worshipped;

9. കര്ത്താവേ, നിനക്കു എന്നോടു കൃപയുണ്ടെങ്കില് കര്ത്താവു ഞങ്ങളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ നടക്കേണമേ. ഇതു ദുശ്ശാഠ്യമുള്ള ജനം തന്നേ എങ്കിലും ഞങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യവും പാപവും ക്ഷമിച്ചു ഞങ്ങളെ നിന്റെ അവകാശമാക്കേണമേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

9. and said, If I have found grace in Your sight, let my Lord go with us; for the people are stiff-necked: and You shall take away our sins and our iniquities, and we will be Yours.

10. അതിന്നു അവന് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതെന്തെന്നാല്ഞാന് ഒരു നിയമം ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നു. ഭൂമിയിലെങ്ങും ഒരു ജാതിയിലും സംഭവിച്ചിട്ടില്ലാത്ത അത്ഭുതങ്ങള് നിന്റെ സര്വ്വജനത്തിന്നും മുമ്പാകെ ഞാന് ചെയ്യും; നീ സഹവാസം ചെയ്തുപോരുന്ന ജനം ഒക്കെയും യഹോവയുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിയെ കാണും; ഞാന് നിന്നോടു ചെയ്വാനിരിക്കുന്നതു ഭയങ്കരമായുള്ളതു തന്നേ.

10. And the Lord said to Moses, Behold, I establish a covenant with you in the presence of all your people. I will do glorious things which have not been done in all the earth, or in any nation; and all the people among you shall see the works of the Lord, that they are wonderful, which I will do with you.

11. ഇന്നു ഞാന് നിന്നോടു കല്പിക്കുന്നതു സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്ക; അമോര്യ്യന് , കനാന്യന് , ഹിത്യന് , പെരിസ്യന് , ഹിവ്യന് , യെബൂസ്യന് എന്നിവരെ ഞാന് നിന്റെ മുമ്പില് നിന്നു ഔടിച്ചുകളയും.

11. Take heed to all things whatsoever [that] I command you. Behold, I cast out before your face the Amorite and the Canaanite and the Perizzite and the Hittite and the Hivite and the Girgashite and the Jebusite.

12. നീ ചെല്ലുന്ന ദേശത്തിലെ നിവാസികളോടു നീ ഒരു ഉടമ്പടി ചെയ്യാതിരിപ്പാന് കരുതിക്കൊള്ക; അല്ലാഞ്ഞാല് അതു നിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യേ ഒരു കണിയായിരിക്കും.

12. Take heed to yourself, lest at any time you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land into which you are entering, lest it be to you a stumbling block among you.

13. നിങ്ങള് അവരുടെ ബലി പീഠങ്ങളെ ഇടിച്ചു വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ തകര്ത്തു അശേരപ്രതിഷ്ഠകളെ വെട്ടിക്കളയേണം.

13. You shall destroy their altars, and break in pieces their pillars, and you shall cut down their groves, and the graven images of their gods you shall burn with fire.

14. അന്യദൈവത്തെ നമസ്കരിക്കരുതു; യഹോവയുടെ നാമം തീക്ഷ്ണന് എന്നാകുന്നു; അവന് തീക്ഷ്ണതയുള്ള ദൈവം തന്നേ.

14. For you shall not worship strange gods, for the Lord God, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God;

15. ആ ദേശത്തിലെ നിവാസികളോടു ഉടമ്പടി ചെയ്കയും അവരുടെ ദേവന്മാരോടു അവര് പരസംഗം ചെയ്തു അവരുടെ ദേവന്മാര്ക്കും ബലി കഴിക്കുമ്പോള് നിന്നെ വിളിക്കയും നീ ചെന്നു അവരുടെ ബലികള് തിന്നുകയും

15. lest at any time you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and sacrifice to their gods, and they call you, and you should eat of their feasts,

16. അവരുടെ പുത്രിമാരില്നിന്നു നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്ക്കും ഭാര്യമാരെ എടുക്കയും അവരുടെ പുത്രിമാര് തങ്ങളുടെ ദേവന്മാരോടു പരസംഗം ചെയ്യുമ്പോള് നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരെക്കൊണ്ടു അവരുടെ ദേവന്മാരോടു പരസംഗം ചെയ്യിക്കയും ചെയ്വാന് ഇടവരരുതു.

16. and you should take of their daughters to your sons, and you should give of your daughters to their sons; and your daughters should go a whoring after their gods, and your sons should go a whoring after their gods.

17. ദേവന്മാരെ വാര്ത്തുണ്ടാക്കരുതു.

17. And you shall not make to yourself molded gods.

18. പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പത്തിന്റെ ഉത്സവം നീ ആചരിക്കേണം. ഞാന് നിന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ആബീബ് മാസത്തില് നിശ്ചയിച്ച സമയത്തു ഏഴു ദിവസം പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പം തിന്നേണം; ആബീബ് മാസത്തിലല്ലോ നീ മിസ്രയീമില്നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടുപോന്നതു.

18. And you shall keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread: seven days shall you eat unleavened bread, as I have commanded you, at the season in the month of [the] new [grain]; for in the month of [the] new [grain] you came out from Egypt.

19. ആദ്യം ജനിക്കുന്നതൊക്കെയും നിന്റെ ആടുകളുടെയും കന്നുകാലികളുടെയും കൂട്ടത്തില് കടിഞ്ഞൂലായ ആണ്ഒക്കെയും എനിക്കുള്ളതു ആകുന്നു.

19. The males [are] Mine, everything that opens the womb; every firstborn of oxen, and [every] firstborn of sheep.

20. എന്നാല് കഴുതയുടെ കടിഞ്ഞൂലിനെ ആട്ടിന് കുട്ടിയെക്കൊണ്ടു വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളേണം. വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളുന്നില്ലെങ്കില് അതിന്റെ കഴുത്തു ഒടിച്ചുകളയേണം. നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരില് ആദ്യജാതനെ ഒക്കെയും വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളേണം. വെറുങ്കയ്യോടെ നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ വരരുതു.

20. And the firstborn of a donkey you shall redeem with a sheep, and if you will not redeem it you shall pay a price: every firstborn of your sons shall you redeem. You shall not appear before Me empty-handed.

21. ആറു ദിവസം വേല ചെയ്യേണം; ഏഴാം ദിവസം സ്വസ്ഥമായിരിക്കേണം; വിതകാലമോ കൊയ്ത്തുകാലമോ ആയാലും സ്വസ്ഥമായിരിക്കേണം.

21. Six days you shall work, but on the seventh day you shall rest. [There shall be] rest in seed time and in harvest.

22. കോതമ്പുകെയ്ത്തിലെ ആദ്യഫലോത്സവമായ വാരോത്സവവും ആണ്ടറുതിയില് കായ്കനിപ്പെരുനാളും നീ ആചരിക്കേണം.

22. And you shall keep to Me the Feast of Weeks, the beginning of wheat-harvest; and the Feast of Ingathering in the middle of the year.

23. സംവത്സരത്തില് മൂന്നു പ്രാവശ്യം പുരുഷന്മാരൊക്കയും യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായി യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ വരേണം.

23. Three times in the year shall every male of yours appear before the Lord, the God of Israel.

24. ഞാന് ജാതികളെ നിന്റെ മുമ്പില്നിന്നു ഔടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു നിന്റെ അതൃത്തികളെ വിശാലമാക്കും; നീ സംവത്സരത്തില് മൂന്നു പ്രാവശ്യം നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ ചെല്ലുവാന് കയറിപ്പോയിരിക്കുമ്പോള് ഒരു മനുഷ്യനും നിന്റെ ദേശം മോഹിക്കയില്ല.

24. For when I have cast out the nations from before your face, and have enlarged your coasts, no one shall desire your land, whenever you may go up to appear before the Lord your God, three times in the year.

25. എന്റെ യാഗരക്തം പുളിപ്പുള്ള അപ്പത്തോടുകൂടെ അര്പ്പിക്കരുതു. പെസഹപെരുനാളിലെ യാഗം പ്രഭാതകാലംവരെ വെച്ചേക്കരുതു.

25. You shall not offer the blood of My sacrifices with leaven, neither shall the sacrifices of the Feast of the Passover remain till the morning.

26. നിന്റെ നിലത്തിലെ ആദ്യവിളവിന്റെ ആദ്യഫലം നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തില് കൊണ്ടുവരേണം. കോലാട്ടിന് കുട്ടിയെ അതിന്റെ തള്ളയുടെ പാലില് പാകം ചെയ്യരുതു.

26. The firstfruits of your land shall you put into the house of the Lord your God. You shall not boil a lamb in his mother's milk.

27. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടുഈ വചനങ്ങളെ എഴുതിക്കൊള്ക; ഈ വചനങ്ങള് ആധാരമാക്കി ഞാന് നിന്നോടും യിസ്രായേലിനോടും നിയമം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

27. And the Lord said to Moses, Write these words for yourself, for on these words I have established a covenant with you and with Israel.

28. അവന് അവിടെ ഭക്ഷണം കഴിക്കാതെയും വെള്ളം കുടിക്കാതെയും നാല്പതു പകലും നാല്പതു രാവും യഹോവയോടു കൂടെ ആയിരുന്നു; അവന് പത്തു കല്പനയായ നിയമത്തിന്റെ വചനങ്ങളെ പലകയില് എഴുതിക്കൊടുത്തു.

28. And Moses was there before the Lord forty days and forty nights; he did not eat bread, and he did not drink water; and He wrote upon the tablets these words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments.

29. അവന് തന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു നിമിത്തം തന്റെ മുഖത്തിന്റെ ത്വക്ക് പ്രകാശിച്ചു എന്നു മോശെ സാക്ഷ്യത്തിന്റെ പലക രണ്ടും കയ്യില് പടിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു സീനായിപര്വ്വതത്തില്നിന്നു ഇറങ്ങുമ്പോള് അറിഞ്ഞില്ല.
2 കൊരിന്ത്യർ 3:7-10

29. Now when Moses came down from the mountain ([there were] two tablets in Moses' hand as he came down from the mountain), Moses knew not that the appearance of the skin of his face was glorified, when God spoke to him.

30. അഹരോനും യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് എല്ലാവരും മോശെയെ നോക്കിയപ്പോള് അവന്റെ മുഖത്തിന്റെ ത്വക്ക് പ്രകാശിക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു; അതു കൊണ്ടു അവര് അവന്റെ അടുക്കല് ചെല്ലുവാന് ഭയപ്പെട്ടു.
2 കൊരിന്ത്യർ 3:7-10

30. And Aaron and all the elders of Israel saw Moses, and the appearance of the skin of his face was made glorious, and they feared to approach him.

31. മോശെ അവരെ വിളിച്ചു; അപ്പോള് അഹരോനും സഭയിലെ പ്രമാണികള് ഒക്കെയും അവന്റെ അടുക്കല് മടങ്ങി വന്നു; മോശെ അവരോടു സംസാരിചു.

31. And Moses called them, and Aaron and all the rulers of the synagogue turned towards him, and Moses spoke to them.

32. അതിന്റെ ശേഷം യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് ഒക്കെയും അവന്റെ അടുക്കല് ചെന്നു. സീനായി പര്വ്വതത്തില്വെച്ചു യഹോവ തന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതൊക്കെയും അവന് അവരോടു ആജ്ഞാപിച്ചു.

32. And afterwards all the children of Israel came to him, and he commanded them all things, whatsoever the Lord had commanded him in Mount Sinai.

33. മോശെ അവരോടു സംസാരിച്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോള് അവന് തന്റെ മുഖത്തു ഒരു മൂടുപടം ഇട്ടു.
2 കൊരിന്ത്യർ 3:13

33. And when he ceased speaking to them, he put a veil on his face.

34. മോശെ യഹോവയോടു സംസാരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന്റെ സന്നിധാനത്തില് കടക്കുമ്പോള് പുറത്തു വരുവോളം മൂടുപടം നീക്കിയിരിക്കും; തന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതു അവന് പുറത്തുവന്നു യിസ്രയേല്മക്കളോടു പറയും.
2 കൊരിന്ത്യർ 3:7-16

34. And whenever Moses went in before the Lord to speak to Him, he took off the veil till he went out, and he went forth and spoke to all the children of Israel whatsoever the Lord commanded him.

35. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് മോശെയുടെ മുഖത്തിന്റെ ത്വക്ക് പ്രകാശിക്കുന്നതായി കണ്ടതുകൊണ്ടു മോശെ അവനോടു സംസാരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അകത്തു കടക്കുവോളം മൂടുപടം പിന്നെയും തന്റെ മുഖത്തു ഇട്ടുകൊള്ളും.
2 കൊരിന്ത്യർ 3:13

35. And the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that it was glorified; and Moses put the veil over his face, till he went in to speak with Him.
