1. അന്നാളില് അവര് യെഹൂദാദേശത്തു ഈ പാട്ടു പാടുംനമുക്കു ബലമുള്ളോരു പട്ടണം ഉണ്ടു; അവന് രക്ഷയെ മതിലുകളും കൊത്തളങ്ങളും ആക്കിവെക്കുന്നു.

1. In that day this song will be sung in the land of Judah: 'We have a strong city; [God] will appoint salvation [for] walls and bulwarks.

2. വിശ്വസ്തത കാണിക്കുന്ന നീതിയുള്ള ജാതി പ്രവേശിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു വാതിലുകളെ തുറപ്പിന് .

2. Open the gates, That the righteous nation which keeps the truth may enter in.

3. You will keep [him] in perfect peace, [Whose] mind [is] stayed [on You,] Because he trusts in You.

4. യഹോവയാം യാഹില് ശാശ്വതമായോരു പാറ ഉള്ളതിനാല് യഹോവയില് എന്നേക്കും ആശ്രയിപ്പിന് .

4. Trust in the LORD forever, For in YAH, the LORD, [is] everlasting strength.

5. അവന് ഉയരത്തില് പാര്ക്കുംന്നവരെ ഉന്നതനഗരത്തെതന്നേ താഴ്ത്തി തള്ളിയിട്ടു നിലംപരിചാക്കി പൊടിയില് ഇട്ടു കളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

5. For He brings down those who dwell on high, The lofty city; He lays it low, He lays it low to the ground, He brings it down to the dust.

6. കാല് അതിനെ ചവിട്ടിക്കളയും; എളിയവരുടെ കാലുകളും ദരിദ്രന്മാരുടെ കാലടികളും തന്നേ.

6. The foot shall tread it down -- The feet of the poor [And] the steps of the needy.'

7. നീതിമാന്റെ വഴി ചൊവ്വുള്ളതാകുന്നു; നീ നീതിമാന്റെ പാതയെ ചൊവ്വായി നിരത്തുന്നു.

7. The way of the just [is] uprightness; O Most Upright, You weigh the path of the just.

8. അതേ, യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ ന്യായവിധികളുടെ പാതയില് ഞങ്ങള് നിന്നെ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ നാമത്തിന്നായിട്ടും നിന്റെ സ്മരണക്കായിട്ടും ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഉള്ളം വാഞ്ഛിക്കുന്നു.

8. Yes, in the way of Your judgments, O LORD, we have waited for You; The desire of [our] soul [is] for Your name And for the remembrance of You.

9. എന്റെ ഉള്ളം കൊണ്ടു ഞാന് രാത്രിയില് നിന്നെ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചു ഉള്ളില് എന്റെ ആത്മാവുകൊണ്ടു തന്നേ ഞാന് ജാഗ്രതയോടെ നിന്നെ അന്വേഷിക്കും; നിന്റെ ന്യായവിധികള് ഭൂമിയില് നടക്കുമ്പോള് ഭൂവാസികള് നീതിയെ പഠിക്കും.

9. With my soul I have desired You in the night, Yes, by my spirit within me I will seek You early; For when Your judgments [are] in the earth, The inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

10. ദുഷ്ടന്നു കൃപ കാണിച്ചാലും അവന് നീതി പഠിക്കയില്ല; നേരുള്ള ദേശത്തു അവന് അന്യായം പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കും; യഹോവയുടെ മഹത്വം അവന് കാണുകയുമില്ല.

10. Let grace be shown to the wicked, [Yet] he will not learn righteousness; In the land of uprightness he will deal unjustly, And will not behold the majesty of the LORD.

11. യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ കൈ ഉയര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; അവരോ കാണുന്നില്ല; എങ്കിലും ജനത്തെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള നിന്റെ തീക്ഷണത അവര് കണ്ടു ലജ്ജിക്കും; നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ ദഹിപ്പിക്കുന്ന തീ അവരെ ദഹിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും.

11. LORD, [when] Your hand is lifted up, they will not see. But they will see and be ashamed For [their] envy of people; Yes, the fire of Your enemies shall devour them.

12. യഹോവേ, നീ ഞങ്ങള്ക്കായിട്ടു സമാധാനം നിയമിക്കും; ഞങ്ങളുടെ സകലപ്രവൃത്തികളെയും നീ ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു വേണ്ടി നിവര്ത്തിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

12. LORD, You will establish peace for us, For You have also done all our works in us.

13. ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, നീയല്ലാതെ വേറെ കര്ത്താക്കന്മാര് ഞങ്ങളുടെമേല് കര്ത്തൃത്വം നടത്തീട്ടുണ്ടു; എന്നാല് നിന്നെ മാത്രം, നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ തന്നേ, ഞങ്ങള് സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നു.

13. O LORD our God, masters besides You Have had dominion over us; [But] by You only we make mention of Your name.

14. മരിച്ചവര് ജീവിക്കുന്നില്ല; മൃതന്മാര് എഴുന്നേലക്കുന്നില്ല; അതിന്നായിട്ടല്ലോ നീ അവരെ സന്ദര്ശിച്ചു സംഹരിക്കയും അവരുടെ ഔര്മ്മയെ അശേഷം ഇല്ലാതാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തതു.

14. [They are] dead, they will not live; [They are] deceased, they will not rise. Therefore You have punished and destroyed them, And made all their memory to perish.

15. നീ ജനത്തെ വര്ദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചു; യഹോവേ, ജനത്തെ നീ വര്ദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചു; നീ മഹത്വപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; ദേശത്തിന്റെ അതിരുകളെയെല്ലാം നീ വിസ്താരമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

15. You have increased the nation, O LORD, You have increased the nation; You are glorified; You have expanded all the borders of the land.

16. യഹോവേ, കഷ്ടതയില് അവര് നിന്നെ നോക്കുകയും നിന്റെ ശിക്ഷ അവര്ക്കും തട്ടിയപ്പോള് ജപംകഴിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

16. LORD, in trouble they have visited You, They poured out a prayer [when] Your chastening [was] upon them.

17. യഹോവേ, പ്രസവം അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന ഗര്ഭണി നോവുകിട്ടി തന്റെ വേദനയില് നിലവിളിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ഞങ്ങള് നിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ ആയിരുന്നു.

17. As a woman with child Is in pain and cries out in her pangs, When she draws near the time of her delivery, So have we been in Your sight, O LORD.

18. ഞങ്ങള് ഗര്ഭം ധരിച്ചു നോവുകിട്ടി പ്രസവിച്ചാറെ, കാറ്റിനെ പ്രസവിച്ചതുപോലെ ഇരുന്നു; ദേശത്തു ഒരു രക്ഷയും ഞങ്ങള് പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചിട്ടില്ല; ഭൂവാസികള് പിറന്നുവീണതുമില്ല.

18. We have been with child, we have been in pain; We have, as it were, brought forth wind; We have not accomplished any deliverance in the earth, Nor have the inhabitants of the world fallen.

19. നിന്റെ മൃതന്മാര് ജീവിക്കും; എന്റെ ശവങ്ങള് എഴുന്നേലക്കും; പൊടിയില് കിടക്കുന്നവരേ, ഉണര്ന്നു ഘോഷിപ്പിന് ; നിന്റെ മഞ്ഞു പ്രഭാതത്തിലെ മഞ്ഞുപോലെ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; ഭൂമി പ്രേതന്മാരെ പ്രസവിക്കുമല്ലോ.

19. Your dead shall live; [Together with] my dead body they shall arise. Awake and sing, you who dwell in dust; For your dew [is like] the dew of herbs, And the earth shall cast out the dead.

20. എന്റെ ജനമേ, വന്നു നിന്റെ അറകളില് കടന്നു വാതിലുകളെ അടെക്ക; ക്രോധം കടന്നുപോകുവോളം അല്പനേരത്തേക്കു ഒളിച്ചിരിക്ക.

20. Come, my people, enter your chambers, And shut your doors behind you; Hide yourself, as it were, for a little moment, Until the indignation is past.

21. യഹോവ ഭൂവാസികളെ അവരുടെ അകൃത്യംനിമിത്തം സന്ദര്ശിപ്പാന് തന്റെ സ്ഥലത്തുനിന്നു ഇതാ, വരുന്നു. ഭൂമി താന് കുടിച്ച രക്തം ഒക്കെയും വെളിപ്പെടുത്തും; തന്നിലുള്ള ഹതന്മാരെ ഇനി മൂടിവെക്കയുമില്ല.

21. For behold, the LORD comes out of His place To punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity; The earth will also disclose her blood, And will no more cover her slain.
