1. മരുഭൂമിയും വരണ്ട നിലവും ആനന്ദിക്കും; നിര്ജ്ജനപ്രദേശം ഉല്ലസിച്ചു പനിനീര്പുഷ്പം പോലെ പൂക്കും.

1. Bvt the deserte & wildernesse shal reioyse, ye waist grounde shal be glad, and florish as the lilly.

2. അതു മനോഹരമായി പൂത്തു ഉല്ലാസത്തോടും ഘോഷത്തോടും കൂടെ ഉല്ലസിക്കും; ലെബാനോന്റെ മഹത്വവും കര്മ്മേലിന്റെയും ശാരോന്റെയും ശോഭയും അതിന്നു കൊടുക്കപ്പെടും; അവര് യഹോവയുടെ മഹത്വവും നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ തേജസ്സും കാണും.

2. She shal florish pleasauntly, and be ioyful, and euer be geuynge of thankes more and more. For ye glory of libanus, the bewty of Charmel & Saro shalbe geuen her. These shal knowe the honoure of the LORDE, and the magesty of oure God.

3. തളര്ന്ന കൈകളെ ബലപ്പെടുത്തുവിന് ; കുഴഞ്ഞ മുഴങ്കാലുകളെ ഉറപ്പിപ്പിന് .

3. And therfore strength ye weake hodes, and conforte the feble knees.

4. മനോഭീതിയുള്ളവരോടുധൈര്യപ്പെടുവിന് , ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ; ഇതാ, നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവം! പ്രതികാരവും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പ്രതിഫലവും വരുന്നു! അവന് വന്നു നിങ്ങളെ രക്ഷിക്കും എന്നു പറവിന് .

4. Saye vnto them that are of a fearful hert: Be of good chere, and feare not. Beholde: youre God cometh, to take vengeaunce & to rewarde, God cometh his owne self, and wil delyuer you.

5. Then shal the eyes of the blinde be lightned, and the eares of the deaff opened.

6. അന്നു മുടന്തന് മാനിനെപ്പോലെ ചാടും; ഊമന്റെ നാവും ഉല്ലസിച്ചു ഘോഷിക്കും; മരുഭൂമിയില് വെള്ളവും നിര്ജ്ജനപ്രദേശത്തു തോടുകളും പൊട്ടി പുറപ്പെടും.

6. Then shal the lame man leape as an herte, & the domme mas tuge shal geue thankes. In the wildernesse also there shal welles springe, and floudes of water in the deserte.

7. മരീചിക ഒരു പൊയ്കയായും വരണ്ടനിലം നീരുറവുകളായും തീരും; കുറുക്കന്മാരുടെ പാര്പ്പിടത്തു, അവ കിടന്ന സ്ഥലത്തുതന്നെ, പുല്ലും ഔടയും ഞാങ്ങണയും വളരും.

7. The drie grounde shal turne to ryuers, and the thurstie to springes of water. Where as dragons dwelt afore, there shal growe swete floures and grene russhes.

8. അവിടെ ഒരു പെരുവഴിയും പാതയും ഉണ്ടാകും; അതിന്നു വിശുദ്ധവഴി എന്നു പേരാകും; ഒരു അശുദ്ധനും അതില്കൂടി കടന്നുപോകയില്ല; അവന് അവരോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കും; വഴിപോക്കര്, ഭോഷന്മാര്പോലും, വഴിതെറ്റിപ്പോകയില്ല.

8. There shalbe footpathes & comon stretes, this shalbe called the holywaye. No vnclene person shal go thorow it, for the LORDE himself shal go with the that waye, and the ignoraut shal not erre.

9. ഒരു സിംഹവും അവിടെ ഉണ്ടാകയില്ല; ഒരു ദുഷ്ടമൃഗവും അവിടെ കയറി വരികയില്ല; ആ വകയെ അവിടെ കാണുകയില്ല; വീണ്ടെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടവര് അവിടെ നടക്കും.

9. There shalbe no lyon, and no rauyshinge beast shall come therin nor be there, but men shal go there fre and safe.

10. അങ്ങനെ യഹോവയാല് വീണ്ടെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടവര് മടങ്ങി ഉല്ലാസഘോഷത്തോടെ സീയോനിലേക്കു വരും; നിത്യാനന്ദം അവരുടെ തലമേല് ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കും; അവര് ആനന്ദവും സന്തോഷവും പ്രാപിക്കും; ദുഃഖവും നെടുവിര്പ്പും ഔടിപ്പോകും.

10. And the redemed of the LORDE shal conuerte, and come to Sion with thankesgeuinge. Euerlastinge ioye shal they haue, pleasure & gladnesse shalbe amoge them, And as for all sorow and heuynes, it shal vanish awaye.
