1. പതിനൊന്നാം ആണ്ടു ഒന്നാം തിയ്യതി യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

1. And it came to pass in the eleventh year, on the first [day] of the month, [that] the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

2. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, യെരൂശലേമിനെക്കുറിച്ചുനന്നായി, ജാതികളുടെ വാതിലായിരുന്നവള് തകര്ന്നുപോയി; അവര് എങ്കലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; അവള് ശൂന്യമായ്തീര്ന്നിരിക്കയാല് ഞാന് നിറയും എന്നു സോര് പറയുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു

2. Son of man, because Tyre has said against Jerusalem, Aha, she is crushed- the nations are destroyed; she has turned to me; she that was full is made desolate.

3. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുസോരേ, ഞാന് നിനക്കു വിരോധമായിരിക്കുന്നു; സമുദ്രം തന്റെ തിരകളെ കയറിവരുമാറാക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ഞാന് അനേകം ജാതികളെ നിന്റെ നേരെ പുറപ്പെട്ടുവരുമാറാക്കും.

3. Therefore thus says the Lord: Behold, I am against you, O Tyre, and I will bring up many nations against you, as the sea comes up with its waves.

4. അവര് സോരിന്റെ മതിലുകളെ നശിപ്പിച്ചു, അതിന്റെ ഗോപുരങ്ങളെ ഇടിച്ചുകളയും; ഞാന് അതിന്റെ പൊടി അടിച്ചുവാരിക്കളഞ്ഞു അതിനെ വെറും പാറയാക്കും.

4. And they shall cast down the walls of Tyre, and shall cast down your towers: and I will scrape her dust from off her, and make her a bare rock.

5. അതു സമുദ്രത്തിന്റെ നടുവില് വലവിരിക്കുന്നതിന്നുള്ള സ്ഥലമായ്തീരും; ഞാന് അതു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു; അതു ജാതികള്ക്കു കവര്ച്ചയായ്തീരും.

5. She shall be in the midst of the sea a place for repairing nets, for I have spoken [it], says the Lord; and it shall be a spoil for the nations.

6. നാട്ടുപുറത്തുള്ള അതിന്റെ പുത്രിമാരെ വാള്കൊണ്ടു കൊല്ലും; ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു അവര് അറിയും.

6. And her daughters [which are] in the field shall be slain with the sword, and they shall know that I am the Lord.

7. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന് വടക്കുനിന്നു രാജാധിരാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ്നേസര് എന്ന ബാബേല്രാജാവിനെ കുതിരകളോടും രഥങ്ങളോടും കുതിരച്ചേവകരോടും ജനസമൂഹത്തോടും വളരെ പടജ്ജനത്തോടും കൂടെ സോരിന്നുനേരെ വരുത്തും.

7. For thus says the Lord: Behold, I [will] bring up against you, O Tyre, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the north: he is a king of kings, with horses, and chariots, and horsemen, and a concourse of very many nations.

8. അവന് നാട്ടുപുറത്തുള്ള നിന്റെ പുത്രിമാരെ വാള്കൊണ്ടു കൊല്ലും; അവന് നിന്റെ നേരെ കൊത്തളം പണിതു വാടകോരി നിന്റെ നേരെ ഒരു മറ നിര്ത്തും.

8. He shall slay your daughters that are in the field with the sword, and shall set a watch against you, and build forts around you, and carry a rampart round against you, and set up warlike works, and array his spears against you.

9. അവന് നിന്റെ മതിലുകളുടെ നേരെ യന്ത്രമുട്ടികളെ വെച്ചു കോടാലികൊണ്ടു നിന്റെ ഗോപുരങ്ങളെ തകര്ത്തുകളയും.

9. He shall cast down with his swords your walls and your towers.

10. അവന്റെ കുതിരകളുടെ പെരുപ്പംകൊണ്ടു കിളരുന്ന പൊടി നിന്നെ മൂടും; മതില് ഇടിഞ്ഞുകിടക്കുന്ന പട്ടണത്തിലേക്കു കടക്കുന്നതുപോലെ അവന് നിന്റെ ഗോപുരങ്ങളില്കൂടി കടക്കുമ്പോള് കുതിരച്ചേവകരുടെയും ചക്രങ്ങളുടെയും രഥങ്ങളുടെയും മുഴക്കംകൊണ്ടു നിന്റെ മതിലുകള് കുലുങ്ങിപ്പോകും.

10. By reason of the abundance of his horses their dust shall cover you, and by reason of the sound of his horsemen and the wheels of his chariots your walls shall be shaken, when he enters into your gates, as one entering into a city from the plain.

11. തന്റെ കുതിരകളുടെ കുളമ്പുകൊണ്ടു അവന് നിന്റെ സകലവീഥികളെയും മെതിച്ചുകളയും; നിന്റെ ജനത്തെ അവന് വാള്കൊണ്ടു കൊല്ലും; നിന്റെ ബലമുള്ള തൂണുകള് നിലത്തു വീണുകിടക്കും.

11. With the hoofs of his horses they shall trample all your streets. He shall slay your people with the sword, and shall bring down to the ground the support of your strength.

12. അവര് നിന്റെ സമ്പത്തു കവര്ന്നു നിന്റെ ചരകൂ കൊള്ളയിട്ടു നിന്റെ മതിലുകള് ഇടിച്ചു നിന്റെ മനോഹരഭവനങ്ങള് നശിപ്പിക്കും; നിന്റെ കല്ലും മരവും മണ്ണും എല്ലാം അവര് വെള്ളത്തില് ഇട്ടുകളയും.

12. And he shall prey upon your power, and plunder your substance, and shall cast down your walls, and break down your pleasant houses; and he shall cast your stones and your timber and your dust into the midst of your sea.

13. നിന്റെ പാട്ടുകളുടെ ഘോഷം ഞാന് ഇല്ലാതാക്കും; നിന്റെ വീണകളുടെ നാദം ഇനി കേള്ക്കയുമില്ല.

13. And he shall destroy the multitude of your musicians, and the sound of your psalteries shall be heard no more.

14. ഞാന് നിന്നെ വെറുമ്പാറയാക്കും; നീ വലവിരിപ്പാനുള്ള സ്ഥലമായ്തീരും; നിന്നെ ഇനി പണികയില്ല; യഹോവയായ ഞാന് അതു കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

14. And I will make you a bare rock. You shall be a place to spread nets upon; you shall be built no more; for I the Lord have spoken [it], says the Lord.

15. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു സോരിനോടു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുനിഹതന്മാര് ഞരങ്ങുമ്പോഴും നിന്റെ നടുവില് സംഹാരം നടക്കുമ്പോഴും നിന്റെ വീഴ്ചയുടെ ഒച്ചയാല് ദ്വീപുകള് നടുങ്ങിപ്പോകയില്ലയോ?

15. For thus says the Lord God to Tyre: Shall not the isles shake at the sound of your fall, while the wounded are groaning, while they have drawn a sword in the midst of you?

16. അപ്പോള് സമുദ്രത്തിലെ സകലപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും സിംഹാസനം വിട്ടിറങ്ങി, അങ്കികളെ നീക്കി വിചിത്രവസ്ത്രങ്ങളെ അഴിച്ചുവേക്കും; അവര് വിറയല് പൂണ്ടു നിലത്തിരുന്നു മാത്രതോറും വിറെച്ചുകൊണ്ടു നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു സ്തംഭിച്ചുപോകും.

16. And all the princes of the nations of the sea shall come down from their thrones, and shall take off their crowns from their heads, and shall take off their embroidered garments; they shall be utterly amazed; they shall sit upon the ground, and fear their [own] destruction, and shall groan over you.

17. അവര് നിന്നെച്ചൊല്ലി ഒരു വിലാപം തുടങ്ങി നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു പറയുംസമുദ്രസഞ്ചാരികള് പാര്ത്തതും കീര്ത്തിപ്പെട്ടതുമായ പട്ടണമേ, നീ എങ്ങനെ നശിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; നീയും നിന്റെ നിവാസികളും സമുദ്രത്തില് പ്രാബല്യം പ്രാപിച്ചിരുന്നു അതിലെ സകലനിവാസികള്ക്കും നിങ്ങളെ പേടിയായിരുന്നുവല്ലോ!

17. And they shall take up a lamentation for you, and shall say to you, How are you destroyed from out of the sea, O renowned city, that brought her terror upon all her inhabitants!

18. ഇപ്പോള് നിന്റെ വീഴ്ചയുടെ നാളില് ദ്വീപുകള് വിറെക്കും; അതെ, സമുദ്രത്തിലെ ദ്വീപുകള് നിന്റെ നിര്യാണത്തിങ്കല് ഭ്രമിച്ചുപോകും.

18. And the isles shall be alarmed at the day of your fall.

19. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; ഞാന് നിന്നെ നിവാസികള് ഇല്ലാത്ത പട്ടണങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ ശൂന്യപട്ടണം ആക്കുമ്പോഴും ഞാന് നിന്റെമേല് ആഴിയെ വരുത്തി പെരുവെള്ളം നിന്നെ മൂടുമ്പോഴും,

19. For thus says the Lord God: When I shall make the city desolate, as the cities that shall not be inhabited, when I have brought the deep up upon you,

20. ഞാന് നിന്നെ കുഴിയില് ഇറങ്ങുന്നവരോടു കൂടെ പുരാതനജനത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കല് ഇറക്കുകയും നിനക്കു നിവാസികള് ഇല്ലാതെയിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും നീ ജീവനുള്ളവരുടെ ദേശത്തു നിലനില്ക്കാതെയിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും ഞാന് നിന്നെ ഭൂമിയുടെ അധോഭാഗങ്ങളില് പുരാതനശൂന്യങ്ങളില് തന്നേ, കുഴിയില് ഇറങ്ങുന്നവരോടുകൂടെ പാര്പ്പിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

20. and great waters shall cover you, and I shall bring you down to them that go down to the pit, to the people of old time, and shall cause you to dwell in the depths of the earth, as in everlasting desolation, with them that go down to the pit, that you may not be inhabited, nor stand upon the land of life;

21. ഞാന് നിന്നെ ശീഘ്രനാശത്തിന്നു ഏല്പിക്കും; നീ ഇല്ലാതെ ആയ്പോകും; നിന്നെ അന്വേഷിച്ചാലും ഇനി ഒരിക്കലും നിന്നെ കണ്ടെത്തുകയില്ല എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

21. I will make you a terror, and you shall be no more forever, says the Lord God.
