1. യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

1. The word of the LORD came again to me, saying,

2. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ സോരിനെക്കുറിച്ചു ഒരു വിലാപം തുടങ്ങി സോരിനോടു പറയേണ്ടതു

2. Now, thou son of man, take up a lamentation for Tyre;

3. തുറമുഖങ്ങളില് പാര്ക്കുംന്നവളും ഏറിയ ദ്വീപുകളിലെ ജാതികളുടെ വ്യാപാരിയും ആയുള്ളോവേ, യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുസോരേ, ഞാന് പൂര്ണ്ണസുന്ദരിയാകുന്നു എന്നു നീ പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

3. And say to Tyre, O thou that dwelleth at the entrance of the sea, [which art] a merchant of the people for many isles, Thus saith the Lord GOD; O Tyre, thou hast said, I [am] of perfect beauty.

4. നിന്റെ രാജ്യം സമുദ്രമദ്ധ്യേ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്നെ പണിതവര് നിന്റെ സൌന്ദര്യത്തെ പരിപൂര്ണ്ണമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

4. Thy borders [are] in the midst of the seas, thy builders have perfected thy beauty.

5. സെനീരിലെ സരളമരംകൊണ്ടു അവര് നിന്റെ പാര്ശ്വം ഒക്കെയും പണിതു; നിനക്കു പാമരം ഉണ്ടാക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവര് ലെബാനോനില്നിന്നു ദേവദാരുക്കളെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.

5. They have made all thy [ship] planks of fir trees of Senir: they have taken cedars from Lebanon to make masts for thee.

6. ബാശാനിലെ കരുവേലംകൊണ്ടു അവര് നിന്റെ തണ്ടുകളെ ഉണ്ടാക്കി; കിത്തീംദ്വീപുകളില്നിന്നുള്ള പുന്നമരത്തില് ആനക്കൊമ്പു പതിച്ചു നിനക്കു തട്ടുണ്ടാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

6. [Of] the oaks of Bashan have they made thy oars; the company of the Ashurites have made thy benches [of] ivory, [brought] out of the isles of Chittim.

7. നിനക്കു കൊടിയായിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിന്റെ കപ്പല്പായ് മിസ്രയീമില്നിന്നുള്ള വിചിത്രശണപടംകൊണ്ടു ഉണ്ടാക്കിയതായിരുന്നു; എലീശാദ്വീപുകളില്നിന്നുള്ള ധൂമ്രപടവും രക്താംബരവും നിന്റെ വിതാനമായിരുന്നു.

7. Fine linen with embroidered work from Egypt was that which thou spreadest forth to be thy sail; blue and purple from the isles of Elishah was that which covered thee.

8. സീദോനിലെയും സര്വ്വാദിലെയും നിവാസികള് നിന്റെ തണ്ടേലന്മാരായിരുന്നു; സോരേ, നിന്നില് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ജ്ഞാനികള് നിന്റെ മാലുമികള് ആയിരുന്നു.

8. The inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad were thy mariners: thy wise [men], O Tyre, [that] were in thee, were thy pilots.

9. ഗെബലിലെ മൂപ്പന്മാരും അതിലെ ജ്ഞാനികളും നിന്റെ ഔരായപ്പണിക്കാരായിരുന്നു; സമുദ്രത്തിലെ എല്ലാകപ്പലുകളും അവയുടെ കപ്പല്ക്കാരും നിന്റെ കച്ചവടം നടത്തേണ്ടതിന്നു നിന്നില് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

9. The ancients of Gebal and her wise [men] were in thee thy calkers: all the ships of the sea with their mariners were in thee to exchange thy merchandise.

10. പാര്സികളും ലൂദ്യരും പൂത്യരും യോദ്ധാക്കളായി നിന്റെ സൈന്യത്തില് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവര് പരിചയും തലക്കോരികയും നിന്നില് തൂക്കി നിനക്കു ഭംഗി പിടിപ്പിച്ചു.

10. They of Persia and of Lud and of Phut were in thy army, thy men of war: they hung the shield and helmet in thee; they set forth thy comeliness.

11. അര്വ്വാദ്യര് നിന്റെ സൈന്യത്തോടുകൂടെ ചുറ്റും നിന്റെ മതിലുകളിന്മേലും ഗമ്മാദ്യര് നിന്റെ ഗോപുരങ്ങളിലും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവര് നിന്റെ മതിലുകളിന്മേല് ചുറ്റും ചരിപ തൂക്കി നിന്റെ സൌന്ദര്യത്തെ പരിപൂര്ണ്ണമാക്കി.

11. The men of Arvad with thy army [were] upon thy walls on all sides, and the Gammadims were in thy towers: they hung their shields upon thy walls on every side; they have made thy beauty perfect.

12. തര്ശീശ് സകലവിധസമ്പത്തിന്റെയും പെരുപ്പംനിമിത്തം നിന്റെ വ്യാപാരിയായിരുന്നു; വെള്ളി, ഇരിമ്പു, വെള്ളീയം, കാരീയം എന്നിവ അവര് നിന്റെ ചരക്കിന്നു പകരം തന്നു.

12. Tarshish [was] thy merchant by reason of the multitude of all [kind of] riches; with silver, iron, tin, and lead, they traded in thy fairs.

13. യാവാന് , തൂബാല്, മേശക് എന്നിവര് നിന്റെ വ്യാപാരികള് ആയിരുന്നു; അവര് ആളുകളെയും താമ്രസാധനങ്ങളെയും നിന്റെ ചരക്കിന്നു പകരം തന്നു.

13. Javan, Tubal, and Meshech, they [were] thy merchants: they traded in the persons of men and vessels of brass in thy market.

14. തോഗര്മ്മാഗൃഹക്കാര് നിന്റെ ചരക്കിന്നു പകരം കുതിരകളെയും പടകൂതിരകളെയും കോവര്കഴുതകളെയും തന്നു.

14. They of the house of Togarmah traded in thy fairs with horses and horsemen and mules.

15. ദെദാന്യര് നിന്റെ വ്യാപാരികളായിരുന്നു; അനേകം ദ്വീപുകള് നിന്റെ അധീനത്തിലെ വ്യാപാരദേശങ്ങളായിരുന്നു; അവര് ആനക്കൊമ്പും കരിമരവും നിനക്കു കപം കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.

15. The men of Dedan [were] thy merchants; many isles [were] the merchandise of thy hand: they brought thee [for] a present horns of ivory and ebony.

16. നിന്റെ പണിത്തരങ്ങളുടെ പ്പെരുപ്പംനിമിത്തം അരാം നിന്റെ വ്യാപാരി ആയിരുന്നു; അവര് മരതകവും ധൂമ്രവസ്ത്രവും വിചിത്രവസ്ത്രവും ശണപടവും പവിഴവും പത്മരാഗവും നിന്റെ ചരക്കിന്നു പകരം തന്നു.

16. Syria [was] thy merchant by reason of the multitude of the wares of thy making: they traded in thy fairs with emeralds, purple, and embroidered work, and fine linen, and coral, and agate.

17. യെഹൂദയും യിസ്രായേല്ദേശവും നിന്റെ വ്യാപാരികളായിരുന്നു; അവര് മിന്നീത്തിലെ കോതമ്പും പലഹാരവും തേനും എണ്ണയും പരിമളതൈലവും നിന്റെ ചരക്കിന്നു പകരം തന്നു.

17. Judah, and the land of Israel, they [were] thy merchants: they traded in thy market in wheat of Minnith, and Pannag, and honey, and oil, and balm.

18. ദമ്മേശേക് നിന്റെ പണിത്തരങ്ങളുടെ പെരുപ്പം നിമിത്തവും സകലവിധസമ്പത്തിന്റെയും പെരുപ്പം നിമിത്തവും ഹെല്ബോനിലെ വീഞ്ഞും വെളുത്ത ആട്ടുരോമവുംകൊണ്ടു നിന്റെ വ്യാപാരി ആയിരുന്നു.

18. Damascus [was] thy merchant in the multitude of the wares of thy making, for the multitude of all riches; in the wine of Helbon, and white wool.

19. വെദാന്യരും ഊസാലിലെ യാവാന്യരും നിന്റെ ചരക്കുകൊണ്ടു വ്യാപാരം ചെയ്തു; മിനുസമുള്ള ഇരിമ്പും വഴനത്തോലും വയമ്പും നിന്റെ ചരക്കിന്റെ കൂട്ടത്തില് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

19. Dan also and Javan going to and fro traded in thy fairs: bright iron, cassia, and calamus, were in thy market.

20. ദെദാന് കുതിരപ്പുറത്തിടുന്ന വിശിഷ്ടപടം കൊണ്ടു നിന്റെ വ്യാപാരിയായിരുന്നു;

20. Dedan [was] thy merchant in precious clothes for chariots.

21. അരബികളും കേദാര്പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരൊക്കെയും നിനക്കധീനരായ വ്യാപാരികള് ആയിരുന്നു; കുഞ്ഞാടുകള്, ആട്ടുകൊറ്റന്മാര്, കോലാടുകള് എന്നിവകൊണ്ടു അവര് നിന്റെ കച്ചവടക്കാരായിരുന്നു;

21. Arabia, and all the princes of Kedar, they traded with thee in lambs, and rams, and goats: in these [were they] thy merchants.

22. ശെബയിലെയും രമയിലെയും വ്യാപാരികള് നിന്റെ കച്ചവടക്കാരായിരുന്നു; അവര് മേത്തരമായ സകലവിധ പരിമളതൈലവും സകലവിധ രത്നങ്ങളും പൊന്നും നിന്റെ ചരക്കിന്നു പകരം തന്നു.

22. The merchants of Sheba and Raamah, they [were] thy merchants: they traded in thy fairs with the best of all spices, and with all precious stones, and gold.

23. ഹാരാനും കല്നെയും ഏദെനും ശെബാവ്യാപാരികളും അശ്ശൂരും കില്മദും നിന്റെ കച്ചവടക്കാരായിരുന്നു.

23. Haran, and Canneh, and Eden, the merchants of Sheba, Asshur, [and] Chilmad, [were] thy merchants.

24. അവര് വിശിഷ്ടസാധനങ്ങളും ചിത്രത്തയ്യലുള്ള ധൂമ്രപ്പുതെപ്പുകളും പരവതാനികളും ബലത്തില് പിരിച്ച കയറുകളും നിന്റെ ചരക്കിന്നു പകരം തന്നു.

24. These [were] thy merchants in all sorts [of things], in blue clothes, and embroidered work, and in chests of rich apparel, bound with cords, and made of cedar, among thy merchandise.

25. തര്ശീശ് കപ്പലുകള് നിനക്കു ചരകൂ കൊണ്ടു വന്നു; നീ പരിപൂര്ണ്ണയും സമുദ്രമദ്ധ്യേ അതിധനികയും ആയിത്തീര്ന്നു.

25. The ships of Tarshish did sing of thee in thy market: and thou wast replenished, and made very glorious in the midst of the seas.

26. നിന്റെ തണ്ടേലന്മാര് നിന്നെ പുറങ്കടലിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടു പോയി; കിഴക്കന് കാറ്റു സമുദ്രമദ്ധ്യേവെച്ചു നിന്നെ ഉടെച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

26. Thy rowers have brought thee into great waters: the east wind hath broken thee in the midst of the seas.

27. നിന്റെ സമ്പത്തും ചരക്കും കച്ചവടവും കപ്പല്ക്കാരും മാലുമികളും ഔരായപ്പണിക്കാരും കുറ്റിക്കാരും നിന്നിലുള്ള സകല യോദ്ധാക്കളും നിന്റെ അകത്തുള്ള സര്വ്വജനസമൂഹത്തോടും കൂടെ നിന്റെ വീഴ്ചയുടെ നാളില് സമുദ്രമദ്ധ്യേ വീഴും.

27. Thy riches, and thy fairs, thy merchandise, thy mariners, and thy pilots, thy calkers, and the traders of thy merchandise, and all thy men of war, that [are] in thee, and in all thy company which [is] in the midst of thee, shall fall into the midst of the seas in the day of thy ruin.

28. നിന്റെ മാലുമികളുടെ നിലവിളികൊണ്ടു കപ്പല്കൂട്ടങ്ങള് നടുങ്ങിപ്പോകും.

28. The waves shall shake at the sound of the cry of thy pilots.

29. തണ്ടേലന്മാരൊക്കെയും കപ്പല്ക്കാരും കടലിലെ മാലുമികള് എല്ലാവരും കപ്പലുകളില്നിന്നു ഇറങ്ങി കരയില് നിലക്കും.

29. And all that handle the oar, the mariners, [and] all the pilots of the sea, shall come down from their ships, they shall stand upon the land;

30. അവര് കൈപ്പോടെ ഉറക്കെ നിലവിളിച്ചു തലയല് പൂഴി വാരിയിട്ടു ചാരത്തില് കിടന്നുരുളുകയും

30. And shall cause their voice to be heard against thee, and shall cry bitterly, and shall cast up dust upon their heads, they shall wallow themselves in the ashes:

31. നിന്നെച്ചൊല്ലി മൊട്ടയടിച്ച രട്ടുടുക്കയും നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു മനോവ്യസനത്തോടും കൈപ്പുള്ള വിലാപത്തോടും കൂടെ കരകയും ചെയ്യും.

31. And they shall make themselves utterly bald for thee, and gird themselves with sackcloth, and they shall weep for thee with bitterness of heart [and] bitter wailing.

32. തങ്ങളുടെ ദുഃഖത്തില് അവര് നിന്നെച്ചൊല്ലി ഒരു വിലാപം തുടങ്ങി നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു വിലപിക്കുന്നതുസമുദ്രമദ്ധ്യേ നശിച്ചുപോയ സോരിനെപ്പോലെ ഏതൊരു നഗരമുള്ളു?

32. And in their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and lament over thee, [saying], What [city is] like Tyre, like the destroyed in the midst of the sea?

33. നിന്റെ ചരകൂ സമുദ്രത്തില് നിന്നു കയറിവന്നപ്പോള്, നീ ഏറിയ വംശങ്ങള്ക്കു തൃപ്തിവരുത്തി നിന്റെ സമ്പത്തിന്റെയും വ്യാപാരത്തിന്റെയും പെരുപ്പംകൊണ്ടു ഭൂമിയിലെ രാജാക്കന്മാരെ സമ്പന്നന്മാരാക്കി.

33. When thy wares went forth out of the seas, thou didst fill many people; thou didst enrich the kings of the earth with the multitude of thy riches and of thy merchandise.

34. ഇപ്പോള് നീ സമുദ്രത്തില്നിന്നു തകര്ന്നു പൊയ്പോയി; നിന്റെ വ്യാപാരസമ്പത്തും നിന്റെ അകത്തുള്ള ജനസമൂഹമൊക്കെയും വെള്ളത്തിന്റെ ആഴത്തില് വീണിരിക്കുന്നു.

34. In the time [when] thou shalt be broken by the seas in the depths of the waters thy merchandise and all thy company in the midst of thee shall fall.

35. ദ്വീപുവാസികളൊക്കെയും നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു സ്തംഭിച്ചുപോകുന്നു; അവരുടെ രാജാക്കന്മാര് ഏറ്റവും ഭയപ്പെട്ടു മുഖം വാടി നിലക്കുന്നു.

35. All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at thee, and their kings shall be terribly afraid, they shall be troubled in [their] countenance.

36. ജാതികളിലെ വ്യാപാരികള് നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു ചൂളകുത്തുന്നുനിനക്കു ശീഘ്രനാശം ഭവിച്ചു നീ സദാകാലത്തേക്കും ഇല്ലാതെയാകും.

36. The merchants among the people shall hiss at thee; thou shalt be a terror, and never [shalt be] any more.
