1. എന്നോടു സംസാരിക്കുന്ന ദൂതന് പിന്നെയും വന്നു, ഉറക്കത്തില്നിന്നു ഉണര്ത്തുന്നതു പോലെ എന്നെ ഉണര്ത്തി.

1. And the angel who was talking to me came again, awaking me as a man out of his sleep.

2. നീ എന്തു കാണുന്നു എന്നു എന്നോടു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു ഞാന് മുഴുവനും പൊന്നുകൊണ്ടുള്ളോരു വിളകൂതണ്ടും അതിന്റെ തലെക്കല് ഒരു കുടവും അതിന്മേല് ഏഴു വിളക്കും അതിന്റെ തലെക്കലുള്ള ഏഴു വിളക്കിന്നു ഏഴു കുഴലും

2. And he said to me, What do you see? And I said, I see a light-support, made all of gold, with its cup on the top of it and seven lights on it; and there are seven pipes to every one of the lights which are on the top of it;

3. അതിന്നരികെ കുടത്തിന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു ഒന്നും ഇടത്തുഭാഗത്തു ഒന്നും ഇങ്ങനെ രണ്ടു ഒലിവുമരവും ഞാന് കാണുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

3. And two olive-trees by it, one on the right side of the cup and one on the left.

4. എന്നോടു സംസാരിക്കുന്ന ദൂതനോടു ഞാന് യജമാനനേ, ഇതു എന്താകുന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

4. And I made answer and said to the angel who was talking to me, What are these, my lord?

5. എന്നോടു സംസാരിക്കുന്ന ദൂതന് എന്നോടുഇതു എന്താകുന്നു എന്നു നീ അറിയുന്നില്ലയോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നുഇല്ല, യജമാനനേ, എന്നു ഞാന് പറഞ്ഞു.

5. Then the angel who was talking to me, answering me, said, Have you no knowledge of what these are? And I said, No, my lord.

6. അവന് എന്നോടു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാല്സെരുബ്ബാബേലിനോടുള്ള യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടാവിതുസൈന്യത്താലല്ല, ശക്തിയാലുമല്ല, എന്റെ ആത്മാവിനാലത്രേ എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

6. This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel, saying, Not by force or by power, but by my spirit, says the Lord of armies.

7. സെരുബ്ബാബേലിന്റെ മുമ്പിലുള്ള മഹാപര്വ്വതമേ, നീ ആര്? നീ സമഭൂമിയായ്തീരും; അതിന്നു കൃപ, കൃപ എന്ന ആര്പ്പോടുകൂടെ അവന് ആണിക്കല്ലു കയറ്റും.

7. Who are you, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel you will become level: and he will let all see the headstone, with cries of Grace, grace, to it.

8. യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

8. Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

9. സെരുബ്ബാബേലിന്റെ കൈ ഈ ആലയത്തിന്നു അടിസ്ഥാനം ഇട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ കൈ തന്നേ അതു തീര്ക്കും; സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ എന്നെ നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നീ അറിയും.

9. The hands of Zerubbabel have put the base of this house in place, and his hands will make it complete; and it will be clear to you that the Lord of armies has sent me to you.

10. അല്പകാര്യങ്ങളുടെ ദിവസത്തെ ആര് തുച്ഛീകരിക്കുന്നു? സര്വ്വഭൂമിയിലും ഊടാടിച്ചെല്ലുന്ന യഹോവയുടെ ഈ ഏഴു കണ്ണു സെരുബ്ബാബേലിന്റെ കയ്യിലുള്ള തുക്കുകട്ട കണ്ടു സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നു.

10. For who has had a poor opinion of the day of small things? for they will be glad when they see the weighted measuring-line in the hand of Zerubbabel. Then he said in answer to me, These seven lights are the eyes of the Lord which go quickly up and down through all the earth.

11. അതിന്നു ഞാന് അവനോടുവിളകൂതണ്ടിന്നു ഇടത്തു ഭാഗത്തും വലത്തുഭാഗത്തും ഉള്ള രണ്ടു ഒലിവു മരം എന്താകുന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

11. And I made answer and said to him, What are these two olive-trees on the right side of the light-support and on the left?

12. ഞാന് രണ്ടാം പ്രാവശ്യം അവനോടുപൊന്നുകൊണ്ടുള്ള രണ്ടു നാളത്തിന്നരികെ പൊന് നിറമായ എണ്ണ ഒഴുക്കുന്ന രണ്ടു ഒലിവുകൊമ്പു എന്തു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

12. And answering a second time, I said to him, What are these two olive branches, through whose gold pipes the oil is drained out?

13. അവന് എന്നോടുഇതു എന്താകുന്നു എന്നു നീ അറിയുന്നില്ലയോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നുഇല്ല, യജമാനനേ, എന്നു ഞാന് പറഞ്ഞു.

13. And he said in answer to me, Have you no knowledge what these are? And I said, No, my lord.

14. അതിന്നു അവന് ഇവര് സര്വ്വഭൂമിയുടെയും കര്ത്താവിന്റെ സന്നിധിയില് നിലക്കുന്ന രണ്ടു അഭിഷിക്തന്മാര് എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

14. And he said, These are the two sons of oil, whose place is by the Lord of all the earth.
