1. ഞാന് വീണ്ടും തല പൊക്കി നോക്കിയപ്പോള്, പാറിപ്പോകുന്ന ഒരു ചുരുള് കണ്ടു.

1. I looked up again and saw--surprise!--a book on the wing! A book flying!

2. അവന് എന്നോടുനീ എന്തു കാണുന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നുപാറിപ്പോകുന്ന ഒരു ചുരുള് ഞാന് കാണുന്നു; അതിന്നു ഇരുപതു മുഴം നീളവും പത്തു മുഴം വീതിയും ഉണ്ടു എന്നു ഞാന് ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

2. The Messenger-Angel said to me, 'What do you see now?' I said, 'I see a book flying, a huge book--thirty feet long and fifteen wide!'

3. അവന് എന്നോടു പറഞ്ഞതുഇതു സര്വ്വദേശത്തിലേക്കും പുറപ്പെടുന്ന ശാപമാകുന്നു; മോഷ്ടിക്കുന്നവന് ഒക്കെയും അതുപോലെ ഇവിടെനിന്നു പാറിപ്പോകും; സത്യം ചെയ്യുന്നവന് ഒക്കെയും അതുപോലെ ഇവിടെനിന്നു പാറിപ്പോകും.

3. He told me, 'This book is the verdict going out worldwide against thieves and liars. The first half of the book disposes of everyone who steals; the second half takes care of everyone who lies.

4. ഞാന് അതിനെ പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചിട്ടു അതു കള്ളന്റെ വീട്ടിലേക്കും എന്റെ നാമത്തില് കള്ളസ്സത്യം ചെയ്യുന്നവന്റെ വീട്ടിലേക്കും ചെല്ലും; അതു അവന്റെ വീട്ടിന്നകത്തു താമസിച്ചു, അതിനെ മരവും കല്ലുമായി നശിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

4. I launched it'--Decree of GOD-of-the-Angel-Armies--'and so it will fly into the house of every thief and every liar. It will land in each house and tear it down, timbers and stones.'

5. അനന്തരം എന്നോടു സംസാരിക്കുന്ന ദൂതന് പുറത്തുവന്നു എന്നോടുനീ തലപൊക്കി ഈ പുറപ്പെടുന്നതു എന്താകുന്നു എന്നു നോക്കുക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

5. The Messenger-Angel appeared and said, 'Look up. Tell me what you see.'

6. അതെന്തെന്നു ഞാന് ചോദിച്ചതിന്നുപുറപ്പെടുന്നതായോരു ഏഫാ എന്നു അവന് പറഞ്ഞു; അതു സര്വ്വദേശത്തിലും ഉള്ള അവരുടെ അകൃത്യം എന്നും അവന് പറഞ്ഞു.

6. I said, 'What in the world is that?' He said, 'This is a bushel basket on a journey. It holds the sin of everyone, everywhere.'

7. പിന്നെ ഞാന് വട്ടത്തിലുള്ളോരു ഈയ്യപ്പലക പൊങ്ങിപ്പോകുന്നതും അവിടെ ഏഫയുടെ നടുവില് ഒരു സ്ത്രീ ഇരിക്കുന്നതും കണ്ടു.

7. Then the lid made of lead was removed from the basket--and there was a woman sitting in it!

8. ഇതു ദുഷ്ടതയാകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവന് അവളെ ഏഫയുടെ അകത്താക്കി ഈയ്യപ്പലകകൊണ്ടു അടെച്ചു.

8. He said, 'This is Miss Wicked.' He pushed her back down into the basket and clamped the lead lid over her.

9. ഞാന് പിന്നെയും തലപൊക്കി നോക്കിയപ്പോള്, രണ്ടു സ്ത്രീകള് പുറത്തു വരുന്നതു കണ്ടു; അവരുടെ ചിറകില് കാറ്റുണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവര്ക്കും പെരുഞ്ഞാറയുടെ ചിറകുപോലെ ചിറകുണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവര് ഭൂമിക്കും ആകാശത്തിന്നും മദ്ധ്യേ ഏഫയെ പൊക്കിക്കൊണ്ടുപോയി.

9. Then I looked up and to my surprise saw two women flying. On outstretched wings they airlifted the bushel basket into the sky.

10. എന്നോടു സംസാരിക്കുന്ന ദൂതനോടുഅവര് ഏഫയെ എവിടേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്നു എന്നു ഞാന് ചോദിച്ചു.

10. I said to the Messenger-Angel, 'Where are they taking the bushel basket?'

11. അതിന്നു അവന് ശിനാര്ദേശത്തു അവര് അവള്ക്കു ഒരു വീടു പണിവാന് പോകുന്നു; അതു തീര്ന്നാല് അവളെ സ്വസ്ഥാനത്തു പാര്പ്പിക്കും എന്നു എന്നോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

11. He said, 'East to the land of Shinar. They will build a garage to house it. When it's finished, the basket will be stored there.'
