1. അവന് തന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടു പറഞ്ഞതുഇടര്ച്ചകള് വരാതിരിക്കുന്നതു അസാദ്ധ്യം; എങ്കിലും അവ വരുത്തുന്നവന്നു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം.

1. And He said to the disciples, It is impossible but that offenses will come. But woe to him through whom they come!

2. അവന് ഈ ചെറിയവരില് ഒരുത്തന്നു ഇടര്ച്ച വരുത്തുന്നതിനെക്കാള് ഒരു തിരിക്കല്ലു അവന്റെ കഴുത്തില് കെട്ടി അവനെ കടലില് എറിഞ്ഞുകളയുന്നതു അവന്നു നന്നു.

2. It were better for him that a millstone were hanged around his neck and he were cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

3. സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്വിന് ; സഹോദരന് പിഴച്ചാല് അവനെ ശാസിക്ക; അവന് മാനസാന്തരപ്പെട്ടാല് അവനോടു ക്ഷമിക്ക.

3. Take heed to yourselves. If your brother trespasses against you, rebuke him. And if he repents, forgive him.

4. ദിവസത്തില് ഏഴുവട്ടം നിന്നോടു പിഴെക്കയും ഏഴുവട്ടവും നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് വന്നുഞാന് മാനസാന്തരപ്പെടുന്നു എന്നു പറകയും ചെയ്താല് അവനോടു ക്ഷമിക്ക.

4. And if he trespasses against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turns again to you, saying, I repent, you shall forgive him.

5. അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാര് കര്ത്താവിനോടുഞങ്ങള്ക്കു വിശ്വാസം വര്ദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചുതരേണമേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

5. And the apostles said to the Lord, Give us more faith.

6. അതിന്നു കര്ത്താവു പറഞ്ഞതുനിങ്ങള്ക്കു കടകുമണിയോളം വിശ്വാസം ഉണ്ടെങ്കില് ഈ കാട്ടത്തിയോടുവേരോടെ പറിഞ്ഞു കടലില് നട്ടുപോക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞാല് അതു നിങ്ങളെ അനുസരിക്കും.

6. And the Lord said, If you had faith as a grain of mustard seed, you might say to this sycamine tree, Be rooted up and be planted in the sea! And it would obey you.

7. നിങ്ങളില് ആര്ക്കെങ്കിലും ഉഴുകയോ മേയ്ക്കയോ ചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു ദാസന് ഉണ്ടെന്നിരിക്കട്ടെ. അവന് വയലില്നിന്നു വരുമ്പോള്നീ ക്ഷണത്തില് വന്നു ഊണിന്നു ഇരിക്ക എന്നു അവനോടു പറയുമോ? അല്ല

7. But which of you who has a servant plowing or feeding will say to him immediately after he has come from the field, Come, recline?

8. എനിക്കു അത്താഴം ഒരുക്കുക; ഞാന് തിന്നുകുടിച്ചു തീരുവോളം അരകെട്ടി എനിക്കു ശുശ്രൂഷചെയ്ക; പിന്നെ നീയും തിന്നു കുടിച്ചുകൊള്ക എന്നു പറകയില്ലയോ?

8. Will he not say to him, Prepare something so that I may eat, and gird yourself and serve me until I eat and drink. And afterward you shall eat and drink.

9. തന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതു ദാസന് ചെയ്തതുകൊണ്ടു അവന്നു നന്ദിപറയുമോ?

9. Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I think not.

10. അവ്വണ്ണം നിങ്ങളോടു കല്പിച്ചതു ഒക്കെയും ചെയ്തശേഷംഞങ്ങള് പ്രയോജനം ഇല്ലാത്ത ദാസന്മാര്; ചെയ്യേണ്ടതേ ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ളു എന്നു നിങ്ങളും പറവിന് .

10. So likewise you, when you shall have done all the things commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants, for we have done what we ought to do.

11. അവന് യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു യാത്രചെയ്കയില് ശമര്യക്കും ഗലീലെക്കും നടുവില്കൂടി കടക്കുമ്പോള്

11. And as He went to Jerusalem, it happened that he went through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.

12. ഒരു ഗ്രാമത്തില് ചെല്ലുന്നേരം കുഷ്ഠരോഗികളായ പത്തു പുരുഷന്മാര് അവന്നു എതിര്പെട്ടു

12. And as He entered into a certain village, ten leprous men met Him, who stood afar off.

13. അകലെ നിന്നുകൊണ്ടുയേശൂ, നായക, ഞങ്ങളോടു കരുണയുണ്ടാകേണമേ എന്നു ഉറക്കെ പറഞ്ഞു.

13. And they lifted voice and said, Jesus, Master, pity us!

14. അവന് അവരെ കണ്ടിട്ടുനിങ്ങള് പോയി പുരോഹിതന്മാര്ക്കും നിങ്ങളെ തന്നേ കാണിപ്പിന് എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; പോകയില് തന്നേ അവര് ശുദ്ധരായ്തീര്ന്നു.

14. And seeing them, He said to them, Go show yourselves to the priests. And it happened, as they went, that they were cleansed.

15. അവരില് ഒരുത്തന് തനിക്കു സൌഖ്യംവന്നതു കണ്ടു ഉച്ചത്തില് ദൈവത്തെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തിക്കൊണ്ടു മടങ്ങിവന്നു അവന്റെ കാല്ക്കല് കവിണ്ണു വീണു അവന്നു നന്ദി പറഞ്ഞു;

15. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back and glorified God with a loud voice.

16. അവനോ ശമര്യക്കാരന് ആയിരുന്നു

16. And he fell down on his face at His feet, thanking Him. And he was a Samaritan.

17. പത്തുപേര് ശുദ്ധരായ്തീര്ന്നില്ലയോ? ഒമ്പതുപേര് എവിടെ?

17. And answering, Jesus said, Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine?

18. ഈ അന്യജാതിക്കാരനല്ലാതെ ദൈവത്തിന്നു മഹത്വം കൊടുപ്പാന് മടങ്ങിവന്നവരായി ആരെയും കാണുന്നില്ലല്ലോ എന്നു യേശു പറഞ്ഞിട്ടു അവനോടു

18. Were none found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?

19. എഴുന്നേറ്റു പൊയ്ക്കൊള്ക; നിന്റെ വിശ്വാസം നിന്നെ രക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

19. And He said to him, Rise and go; your faith has cured you.

20. ദൈവരാജ്യം എപ്പോള് വരുന്നു എന്നു പരീശന്മാര് ചോദിച്ചതിന്നുദൈവരാജ്യം കാണത്തക്കവണ്ണമല്ല വരുന്നതു;

20. And being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered and said, The kingdom of God does not come with observation.

21. ഇതാ ഇവിടെ എന്നും അതാ അവിടെ എന്നും പറകയും ഇല്ല; ദൈവരാജ്യം നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് തന്നേ ഉണ്ടല്ലോ എന്നു അവന് ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

21. Nor shall they say, Lo here! or, behold, there! For behold, the kingdom of God is in your midst.

22. പിന്നെ അവന് തന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടു പറഞ്ഞതുനിങ്ങള് മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്റെ ഒരു ദിവസം കാണ്മാന് ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്ന കാലം വരും;

22. And He said to the disciples, The days will come when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you shall not see it.

23. കാണുകയില്ലതാനും. അന്നു നിങ്ങളോടുഇതാ ഇവിടെ എന്നും അതാ അവിടെ എന്നും പറയും; നിങ്ങള് പോകരുതു, പിന് ചെല്ലുകയുമരുതു.

23. And they shall say to you, Lo, here! or, behold, there! Do not go away, nor follow.

24. മിന്നല് ആകാശത്തിങ്കീഴെ ദിക്കോടുദിക്കെല്ലാം തിളങ്ങി മിന്നുന്നതുപോലെ മനുഷ്യപുത്രന് തന്റെ ദിവസത്തില് ആകും.

24. For as the lightning which lights up, flashing from the one part under heaven, and shines to the other part under heaven, so also shall the Son of Man be in His day.

25. എന്നാല് ആദ്യം അവന് വളരെ കഷ്ടം അനുഭവിക്കയും ഈ തലമുറ അവനെ തള്ളിക്കളകയും വേണം.

25. But first He must suffer many things and be rejected of this generation.

26. നോഹയുടെ കാലത്തു സംഭവിച്ചതുപോലെ മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്റെ നാളിലും ഉണ്ടാകും.

26. And as it was in the days of Noah, so it also shall be in the days of the Son of Man.

30. Even so it shall be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.

31. അന്നു വീട്ടിന്മേല് ഇരിക്കുന്നവന് വീട്ടിന്നകത്തുള്ള സാധനം എടുപ്പാന് ഇറങ്ങിപ്പോകരുതു; അവ്വണം വയലില് ഇരിക്കുന്നവനും പിന്നോക്കം തിരിയരുതു.

31. In that day he who shall be on the housetop, and his goods in the house, let him not come down to take them away. And likewise, he who is in the field, let him not return to the things behind.

32. Remember Lot's wife.

33. തന്റെ ജീവനെ നേടുവാന് നോക്കുന്നവനെല്ലാം അതിനെ കളയും; അതിനെ കളയുന്നവനെല്ലാം അതിനെ രക്ഷിക്കും.

33. Whoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it, and whoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.

34. ആ രാത്രിയില് രണ്ടുപേര് ഒരു കിടക്കമേല് ആയിരിക്കും; ഒരുത്തനെ കൈക്കൊള്ളും; മറ്റവനെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കും.

34. I tell you, in that night there shall be two in one bed, the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.

35. രണ്ടുപേര് ഒന്നിച്ചു പൊടിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കും; ഒരുത്തിയെ കൈക്കൊള്ളും;

35. Two shall be grinding together, one will be taken, and the other left.

36. മറ്റവളെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കും (രണ്ടുപേര് വയലില് ഇരിക്കും; ഒരുത്തനെ കൈക്കൊള്ളും; മറ്റവനെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കും) എന്നു ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

36. Two shall be in the field, one will be taken, and the other left.

37. അവര് അവനോടുകര്ത്താവേ, എവിടെ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നുശവം ഉള്ളേടത്തു കഴുക്കള് കൂടും എന്നു അവന് പറഞ്ഞു.

37. And they answered and said to Him, Where, Lord? And He said to them, Wherever the body is, there the eagles will be gathered together.
