1. അതിന്റെ ശേഷം യേശു പിന്നെയും തിബെര്യ്യാസ് കടല്ക്കരയില് വെച്ചു ശിഷ്യന്മാര്ക്കും പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി; പ്രത്യക്ഷനായതു ഈ വിധം ആയിരുന്നു

1. After this, Jesus again showed Himself to His followers at the lake of Tiberias. It happened like this:

2. ശിമോന് പത്രൊസും ദിദിമൊസ് എന്ന തോമാസും ഗലീലയിലുള്ള കാനയിലെ നഥനയേലും സെബെദിമക്കളും അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരില് വേറെ രണ്ടുപേരും ഒരുമിച്ചു കൂടിയിരുന്നു.

2. Simon Peter and Thomas who was called the Twin and Nathanael from the town of Cana in the country of Galilee and the sons of Zebedee and two other followers were all together.

3. ശിമോന് പത്രൊസ് അവരോടുഞാന് മീന് പിടിപ്പാന് പോകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; ഞങ്ങളും പോരുന്നു എന്നു അവര് പറഞ്ഞു. അവര് പുറപ്പെട്ടു പടകു കയറി പോയി; ആ രാത്രിയില് ഒന്നും പിടിച്ചില്ല.

3. Simon Peter said to them, 'I am going fishing.' The others said, 'We will go with you.' They went out and got into a boat. That night they caught no fish.

4. പുലര്ച്ച ആയപ്പോള് യേശു കരയില് നിന്നിരുന്നു; യേശു ആകുന്നു എന്നു ശിഷ്യന്മാര് അറിഞ്ഞില്ല.

4. Early in the morning Jesus stood on the shore of the lake. The followers did not know it was Jesus.

5. യേശു അവരോടുകുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളേ, കൂട്ടുവാന് വല്ലതും ഉണ്ടോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു; ഇല്ല എന്നു അവര് ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

5. Then Jesus said to them, 'Children, do you have any fish?' They said, 'No.'

6. പടകിന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു വല വീശുവിന് ; എന്നാല് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു കിട്ടും എന്നു അവന് അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞു; അവര് വീശി, മീനിന്റെ പെരുപ്പം ഹേതുവായി അതു വലിപ്പാന് കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല.

6. He said to them, 'Put your net over the right side of the boat. Then you will catch some fish.' They put out the net. They were not able to pull it in because it was so full of fish.

7. യേശു സ്നേഹിച്ച ശിഷ്യന് പത്രൊസിനോടുഅതു കര്ത്താവു ആകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; കര്ത്താവു ആകുന്നു എന്നു ശിമോന് പത്രൊസ് കേട്ടിട്ടു, താന് നഗ്നനാകയാല് അങ്കി അരയില് ചുറ്റി കടലില് ചാടി.

7. Then the follower whom Jesus loved said to Peter, 'It is the Lord!' When Peter heard it was the Lord, he put on his fisherman's coat. (He had taken it off.) Then he jumped into the water.

8. ശേഷം ശിഷ്യന്മാര് കരയില് നിന്നു ഏകദേശം ഇരുനൂറു മുഴത്തില് അധികം ദൂരത്തല്ലായ്കയാല് മീന് നിറഞ്ഞ വല ഇഴെച്ചുംകൊണ്ടു ചെറിയ പടകില് വന്നു.

8. The other followers came in the boat. They were pulling the net with the fish. They were not far from land, only a little way out.

9. കരെക്കു ഇറെങ്ങിയപ്പോള് അവര് തീക്കനലും അതിന്മേല് മീന് വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതും അപ്പവും കണ്ടു.

9. When they came to land they saw fish and bread on a fire.

10. യേശു അവരോടുഇപ്പോള് പിടിച്ച മീന് ചിലതു കൊണ്ടുവരുവിന് എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

10. Jesus said to them, 'Bring some of the fish you have just caught.'

11. ശിമോന് പത്രൊസ് കയറി നൂറ്റമ്പത്തുമൂന്നു വലിയ മീന് നിറഞ്ഞ വല കരെക്കു വലിച്ചു കയറ്റി; അത്ര വളരെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നിട്ടും വല കീറിയില്ല.

11. Simon Peter went out and pulled the net to land. There were 153 big fish. The net was not broken even with so many.

12. യേശു അവരോടുവന്നു പ്രാതല് കഴിച്ചുകൊള്വിന് എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; കര്ത്താവാകുന്നു എന്നു അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടു ശിഷ്യന്മാരില് ഒരുത്തനുംനീ ആര് എന്നു അവനോടു ചോദിപ്പാന് തുനിഞ്ഞില്ല.

12. Jesus said to them, 'Come and eat.' Not one of the followers would ask, 'Who are You?' They knew it was the Lord.

13. യേശു വന്നു അപ്പം എടുത്തു അവര്ക്കും കൊടുത്തു; മീനും അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ യേശു മരിച്ചവരില് നിന്നു ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റശേഷം ഇങ്ങനെ മൂന്നാം പ്രാവശ്യം ശിഷ്യന്മാര്ക്കും പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി.

13. Jesus came and took bread and fish and gave it to them.

14. യേശു മരിച്ചവരില് നിന്നു ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റശേഷം ഇങ്ങനെ മൂന്നാംപ്രവാശ്യം ശിഷ്യന്മാര്ക്കും പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി.

14. This was the third time Jesus had shown Himself to His followers after He had risen from the dead.

15. അവര് പ്രാതല് കഴിച്ചശേഷം യേശു ശിമോന് പത്രൊസിനോടുയോഹന്നാന്റെ മകനായ ശിമോനേ, നീ ഇവരില് അധികമായി എന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നുവോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു. അതിന്നു അവന് ഉവ്വു, കര്ത്താവേ, എനിക്കു നിന്നോടു പ്രിയമുണ്ടു എന്നു നീ അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. എന്റെ കുഞ്ഞാടുകളെ മേയ്ക്ക എന്നു അവന് അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

15. When they were finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, 'Simon, son of John, do you love Me more than these?' Peter answered Jesus, 'Yes, Lord, You know that I love You.' Jesus said to him, 'Feed My lambs.'

16. രണ്ടാമതും അവനോടുയോഹന്നാന്റെ മകനായ ശിമോനേ, നീ എന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നുവോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു. അതിന്നു അവന് ഉവ്വു കര്ത്താവേ, എനിക്കു നിന്നോടു പ്രിയമുണ്ടു എന്നു നീ അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. എന്റെ ആടുകളെ പാലിക്ക എന്നു അവന് അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

16. Jesus said to Peter the second time, 'Simon, son of John, do you love Me?' He answered Jesus, 'Yes, Lord, You know that I love You.' Jesus said to him, 'Take care of My sheep.'

17. മൂന്നാമതും അവനോടുയോഹന്നാന്റെ മകനായ ശിമോനേ, നിനക്കു എന്നോടു പ്രിയമുണ്ടോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു. എന്നോടു പ്രിയമുണ്ടോ എന്നു മൂന്നാമതും ചോദിക്കയാല് പത്രൊസ് ദുഃഖിച്ചുകര്ത്താവേ, നീ സകലവും അറിയുന്നു; എനിക്കു നിന്നോടു പ്രിയമുണ്ടു എന്നും നീ അറിയുന്നു എന്നു അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞു. യേശു അവനോടുഎന്റെ ആടുകളെ മേയ്ക്ക.

17. Jesus said to Peter the third time, 'Simon, son of John, do you love Me?' Peter felt bad because Jesus asked him the third time, 'Do you love Me?' He answered Jesus, 'Lord, You know everything. You know I love You.' Jesus said to him, 'Feed My sheep.

18. ആമേന് , ആമേന് , ഞാന് നിന്നോടു പറയുന്നുനീ യൌവനക്കാരന് ആയിരുന്നപ്പോള് നീ തന്നേ അര കെട്ടി ഇഷ്ടമുള്ളേടത്തു നടന്നു; വയസ്സനായശേഷമോ നീ കൈ നീട്ടുകയും മറ്റൊരുത്തന് നിന്റെ അര കെട്ടി നിനക്കു ഇഷ്ടമില്ലാത്ത ഇടത്തേക്കു നിന്നെ കൊണ്ടുപോകയും ചെയ്യും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

18. For sure, I tell you, when you were young, you put on your belt and went wherever you wanted to go. When you get old, you will put out your hands and someone else will put on your belt and take you away where you do not want to go.'

19. അതിനാല് അവന് ഇന്നവിധം മരണം കൊണ്ടു ദൈവത്തെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തും എന്നു അവന് സൂചിപ്പിച്ചു; ഇതു പറഞ്ഞിട്ടുഎന്നെ അനുഗമിക്ക എന്നു അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

19. He said this to tell Peter what kind of death he would die to honor God. After Jesus said this, He said to Peter, 'Follow Me.'

20. പത്രൊസ് തിരിഞ്ഞു യേശു സ്നേഹിച്ച ശിഷ്യന് പിന് ചെല്ലുന്നതു കണ്ടു; അത്താഴത്തില് അവന്റെ നെഞ്ചോടു ചാഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടുകര്ത്താവേ, നിന്നെ കാണിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുന്നവന് ആര് എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതു ഇവന് തന്നേ.

20. Peter turned around. He saw the follower whom Jesus loved, following. This one had been beside Jesus at the supper. This is the one who had asked Jesus, 'Lord, who will hand You over?'

21. അവനെ പത്രൊസ് കണ്ടിട്ടുകര്ത്താവേ, ഇവന്നു എന്തു ഭവിക്കും എന്നു യേശുവിനോടു ചോദിച്ചു.

21. Peter saw him and said to Jesus, 'But Lord, what about this one?'

22. യേശു അവനോടുഞാന് വരുവോളം ഇവന് ഇരിക്കേണമെന്നു എനിക്കു ഇഷ്ടം ഉണ്ടെങ്കില് അതു നിനക്കു എന്തു? നീ എന്നെ അനുഗമിക്ക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

22. Jesus said, 'If I want this one to wait until I come, what is that to you? You follow Me.'

23. ആകയാല് ആ ശിഷ്യന് മരിക്കയില്ല എന്നൊരു ശ്രുതി സഹോദരന്മാരുടെ ഇടയില് പരന്നു. യേശുവോഅവര് മരിക്കയില്ല എന്നല്ല, ഞാന് വരുവോളം ഇവന് ഇരിക്കേണം എന്നു എനിക്കു ഇഷ്ടമുണ്ടെങ്കില് അതു നിനക്കു എന്തു എന്നത്രേ അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞതു.

23. So the news spread among the followers that this follower would not die. But Jesus did not say to him that he would not die. He said, 'If I want him to wait until I come, what is that to you?'

24. ഈ ശിഷ്യന് ഇതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു സാക്ഷ്യം പറയുന്നവനും ഇതു എഴുതിയവനും ആകുന്നു; അവന്റെ സാക്ഷ്യം സത്യം എന്നു ഞങ്ങള് അറിയുന്നു.

24. This is the follower who is telling of these things and who has written them. We know that his word is true.

25. യേശു ചെയ്തതു മറ്റു പലതും ഉണ്ടു; അതു ഔരോന്നായി എഴുതിയാല് എഴുതിയ പുസ്തകങ്ങള് ലോകത്തില് തന്നേയും ഒതുങ്ങുകയില്ല എന്നു ഞാന് നിരൂപിക്കുന്നു.

25. There are many other things which Jesus did also. If they were all written down, I do not think the world itself could hold the books that would be written.
