1. അതിന്റെ ശേഷം യേശു ഗലീലയില് സഞ്ചരിച്ചു; യെഹൂദന്മാര് അവനെ കൊല്ലുവാന് അന്വേഷിച്ചതു കൊണ്ടു യെഹൂദ്യയില് സഞ്ചരിപ്പാന് അവന്നു മനസ്സില്ലായിരുന്നു.

1. After these things, Iesus walked in Galile, and woulde not walke in Iudea: for the Iewes sought to kill him.

2. എന്നാല് യെഹൂദന്മാരുടെ കൂടാരപ്പെരുനാള് അടുത്തിരുന്നു.

2. Nowe the Iewes feast of the Tabernacles was at hande.

3. അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാര് അവനോടുനീ ചെയ്യുന്ന പ്രവൃത്തികളെ നിന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരും കാണേണ്ടതിന്നു ഇവിടം വിട്ടു യെഹൂദ്യയിലേക്കു പോക.

3. His brethren therefore sayde vnto him, Depart hence, and goe into Iudea, that thy disciples may see thy woorkes that thou doest.

4. പ്രസിദ്ധന് ആകുവാന് ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവന് ആരും രഹസ്യത്തില് ഒന്നും ചെയ്യുന്നില്ലല്ലോ; നീ ഇതു ചെയ്യുന്നു എങ്കില് ലോകത്തിന്നു നിന്നെത്തന്നേ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

4. For there is no man that doeth any thing secretely, and hee himselfe seeketh to be famous. If thou doest these things, shewe thy selfe to the worlde.

5. അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരും അവനില് വിശ്വസിച്ചില്ല.

5. For as yet his brethren beleeued not in him.

6. യേശു അവരോടുഎന്റെ സമയം ഇതുവരെ വന്നിട്ടില്ല; നിങ്ങള്ക്കോ എല്ലയ്പോഴും സമയം തന്നേ.

6. Then Iesus saide vnto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is alway readie.

7. നിങ്ങളെ പകെപ്പാന് ലോകത്തിന്നു കഴിയുന്നതല്ല; എന്നാല് അതിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികള് ദോഷമുള്ളവ എന്നു ഞാന് അതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു സാക്ഷ്യം പറയുന്നതു കൊണ്ടു അതു എന്നെ പകെക്കുന്നു.

7. The world can not hate you: but me it hateth, because I testifie of it, that the workes thereof are euill.

8. നിങ്ങള് പെരുനാളിന്നു പോകുവിന് ; എന്റെ സമയം ഇതുവരെ വന്നിട്ടില്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് ഈ പെരുനാളിന്നു ഇപ്പോള് പോകുന്നില്ല.

8. Go ye vp vnto this feast: I wil not go vp yet vnto this feast: for my time is not yet fulfilled.

9. ഇങ്ങനെ അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞിട്ടു ഗലീലയില് തന്നേ പാര്ത്തു.

9. These things he sayde vnto them, and abode still in Galile.

10. അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാര് പെരുനാളിന്നു പോയശേഷം അവനും പരസ്യമായിട്ടല്ല രഹസ്യത്തില് എന്നപോലെ പോയി.

10. But assoone as his brethren were gone vp, then went hee also vp vnto the feast, not openly, but as it were priuilie.

11. എന്നാല് യെഹൂദന്മാര് പെരുനാളില്അവന് എവിടെ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു അവനെ അന്വേഷിച്ചു.

11. Then the Iewes sought him at the feast, and saide, Where is hee?

12. പുരുഷാരത്തില് അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു വളരെ കുശുകുശുപ്പു ഉണ്ടായി; അവന് നല്ലവന് എന്നു ചിലരും അല്ല, അവന് പുരുഷാരത്തെ വഞ്ചിക്കുന്നു എന്നു മറ്റു ചിലരും പറഞ്ഞു.

12. And much murmuring was there of him among the people. Some said, He is a good man: other sayd, Nay: but he deceiueth the people.

13. എങ്കിലും യെഹൂദന്മാരെ പേടിച്ചിട്ടു ആരും പ്രസിദ്ധമായി അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു സംസാരിച്ചില്ല

13. Howbeit no man spake openly of him for feare of the Iewes.

14. പെരുനാള് പാതി കഴിഞ്ഞശേഷം യേശു ദൈവാലയത്തില് ചെന്നു ഉപദേശിച്ചു.

14. Nowe when halfe the feast was done, Iesus went vp into the Temple and taught.

15. വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം ചെയ്യാത്ത ഇവന് ശാസ്ത്രം അറിയുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ എന്നു യെഹൂദന്മാര് അറിയുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ എന്നു യെഹൂദന്മാര് പറഞ്ഞു ആശ്ചര്യപ്പെട്ടു.

15. And the Iewes marueiled, saving, Howe knoweth this man the Scriptures, seeing that hee neuer learned!

16. യേശു അവരോടു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതുഎന്റെ ഉപദേശം എന്റേതല്ല, എന്നെ അയച്ചവന്റേതത്രേ.

16. Iesus answered them, and saide, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.

17. അവന്റെ ഇഷ്ടം ചെയ്വാന് ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നവന് ഈ ഉപദേശം ദൈവത്തില് നിന്നുള്ളതോ ഞാന് സ്വയമായി പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നതോ എന്നു അറിയും.

17. If any man will doe his will, he shall knowe of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speake of my selfe.

18. സ്വയമായി പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നവന് സ്വന്തമഹത്വം അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നു; തന്നെ അയച്ചവന്റെ മഹത്വം അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവന് സത്യവാന് ആകുന്നു; നീതികേടു അവനില് ഇല്ല.

18. Hee that speaketh of himselfe, seeketh his owne glorie: but hee that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no vnrighteousnes is in him.

19. മോശെ നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ന്യായപ്രമാണം തന്നിട്ടില്ലയോ? എങ്കിലും നിങ്ങളില് ആരും ന്യായപ്രമാണം ആചരിക്കുന്നില്ല. നിങ്ങള് എന്നെ കൊല്ലുവാന് അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നതു എന്തു?

19. Did not Moses giue you a Law, and yet none of you keepeth the lawe? Why goe ye about to kill me?

20. അതിന്നു പുരുഷാരംനിനക്കു ഒരു ഭൂതം ഉണ്ടു; ആര് നിന്നെ കൊല്ലുവാന് അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

20. The people answered, and said, Thou hast a deuil: who goeth about to kill thee?

21. യേശു അവരോടു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതുഞാന് ഒരു പ്രവൃത്തി ചെയ്തു; അതിങ്കല് നിങ്ങള് എല്ലാവരും ആശ്ചര്യപ്പെടുന്നു.

21. Iesus answered, and saide to them, I haue done one worke, and ye all maruaile.

22. മോശെ നിങ്ങള്ക്കു പരിച്ഛേദന നിയമിച്ചിരിക്കയാല്--അതു മോശെയുടെ കാലത്തല്ല പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ കാലത്തത്രെ തുടങ്ങിയതു--നിങ്ങള് ശബ്ബത്തില് മനുഷ്യനെ പരിച്ഛേദന കഴിക്കുന്നു.

22. Moses therefore gaue vnto you circumcision, (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers) and ye on the Sabbath day circumcise a man.

23. മോശെയുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്നു നീക്കം വരാതിരിപ്പാന് ശബ്ബത്തിലും മനുഷ്യന് പരിച്ഛേദന ഏലക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് ഞാന് ശബ്ബത്തില് ഒരു മനുഷ്യനെ മുഴുവനും സൌഖ്യമാക്കിയതിനാല് എന്നോടു ഈര്ഷ്യപ്പെടുന്നുവോ?

23. If a man on the Sabbath receiue circumcision, that the Lawe of Moses should not be broken, be ye angrie with me, because I haue made a man euery whit whole on the Sabbath day?

24. കാഴ്ചപ്രകാരം വിധിക്കരുതു; നീതിയുള്ള വിധി വിധിപ്പിന് .

24. Iudge not according to the appearance, but iudge righteous iudgement.

25. യെരൂശലേമ്യരില് ചിലര്അവര് കൊല്ലുവാന് അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവന് ഇവന് അല്ലയോ?

25. Then saide some of them of Hierusalem, Is not this he, whom they goe about to kill?

26. അവന് ധൈര്യത്തോടെ സംസാരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ; അവര് അവനോടു ഒന്നും പറയുന്നില്ല; ഇവന് ക്രിസ്തു ആകുന്നു എന്നു പ്രമാണികള് യഥാര്ത്ഥമായി ഗ്രഹിച്ചുവോ?

26. And beholde, he speaketh openly, and they say nothing to him: doe the rulers know in deede that this is in deede that Christ?

27. എങ്കിലും ഇവന് എവിടെനിന്നു എന്നു നാം അറിയുന്നു; ക്രിസ്തു വരുമ്പോഴോ അവന് എവിടെനിന്നു എന്നു ആരും അറികയില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

27. Howbeit we know this man whence he is: but when that Christ commeth, no man shall knowe whence he is.

28. ആകയാല് യേശു ദൈവാലയത്തില് ഉപദേശിക്കുമ്പോള്നിങ്ങള് എന്നെ അറിയുന്നു; ഞാന് എവിടെനിന്നെന്നും അറിയുന്നു. ഞാന് സ്വയമായിട്ടു വന്നവനല്ല, എന്നെ അയച്ചവന് സത്യവാന് ആകുന്നു; അവനെ നിങ്ങള് അറിയുന്നില്ല.

28. Then cried Iesus in the Temple as hee taught, saying, Ye both knowe mee, and knowe whence I am: yet am I not come of my selfe, but he that sent me, is true, whome ye knowe not.

29. ഞാന് അവന്റെ അടുക്കല് നിന്നു വന്നതുകൊണ്ടും അവന് എന്നെ അയച്ചതുകൊണ്ടും ഞാന് അവനെ അറിയുന്നു എന്നു വിളിച്ചുപറഞ്ഞു.

29. But I knowe him: for I am of him, and he hath sent me.

30. ആകയാല് അവര് അവനെ പിടിപ്പാന് അന്വേഷിച്ചു എങ്കിലും അവന്റെ നാഴിക വന്നിട്ടില്ലായ്കയാല് ആരും അവന്റെ മേല് കൈ വെച്ചില്ല.

30. Then they sought to take him, but no man layde handes on him, because his houre was not yet come.

31. പുരുഷാരത്തില് പലരുംക്രിസ്തു വരുമ്പോള് ഇവന് ചെയ്തതില് അധികം അടയാളം ചെയ്യുമോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവനില് വിശ്വസിച്ചു.

31. Now many of the people beleeued in him, and said, When that Christ commeth, will he doe moe miracles then this man hath done?

32. പുരുഷാരം അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു ഇങ്ങനെ കുശുകുശുക്കുന്നു എന്നു പരീശന്മാര് കേട്ടാറെ അവനെ പിടിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരും പരീശന്മാരും ചേവകരെ അയച്ചു.

32. The Pharises heard that the people murmured these thinges of him, and the Pharises, and high Priestes sent officers to take him.

33. യേശുവോഞാന് ഇനി കുറെനേരം നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; പിന്നെ എന്നെ അയച്ചവന്റെ അടുക്കല് പോകുന്നു.

33. Then saide Iesus vnto them, Yet am I a little while with you, and then goe I vnto him that sent mee.

34. നിങ്ങള് എന്നെ അന്വേഷിക്കും കണ്ടെത്തുകയില്ലതാനും; ഞാന് ഇരിക്കുന്നേടത്തു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു വരുവാന് കഴികയുമില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

34. Ye shall seeke me, and shall not finde me, and where I am, can ye not come.

35. അതു കേട്ടിട്ടു യെഹൂദന്മാര്നാം കണ്ടെത്താതവണ്ണം ഇവന് എവിടേക്കു പോകുവാന് ഭാവിക്കുന്നു? യവനന്മാരുടെ ഇടയില് ചിതറിപ്പാര്ക്കുംന്നവരുടെ അടുക്കല് പോയി യവനരെ ഉപദേശിപ്പാന് ഭാവമോ? നിങ്ങള് എന്നെ അന്വേഷിക്കും, എന്നെ കണ്ടെത്തുകയില്ലതാനും; ഞാന് ഇരിക്കുന്നേടത്തു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു വരുവാന് കഴികയുമില്ല എന്നു ഈ പറഞ്ഞ വാക്കു എന്തു എന്നു തമ്മില് തമ്മില് പറഞ്ഞു.

35. Then saide the Iewes amongs themselues, Whither will he goe, that we shall not finde him? Will he goe vnto them that are dispersed among the Grecians, and teache the Grecians?

36. ഉത്സവത്തിന്റെ മഹാദിനമായ ഒടുക്കത്തെ നാളില് യേശുനിന്നുകൊണ്ടു ദാഹിക്കുന്നവന് എല്ലാം എന്റെ അടുക്കല് വന്നു കുടിക്കട്ടെ.

36. What saying is this that hee saide, Ye shall seeke mee, and shall not finde mee? and where I am, cannot ye come?

37. എന്നില് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവന്റെ ഉള്ളില് നിന്നു തിരുവെഴുത്തു പറയുന്നതുപോലെ ജീവജലത്തിന്റെ നദികള് ഒഴുകും എന്നു വിളിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു.

37. Nowe in the last and great day of the feast, Iesus stoode and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come vnto me, and drinke.

38. അവന് ഇതു തന്നില് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവര്ക്കും ലഭിപ്പാനുള്ള ആത്മാവിനെക്കുറിച്ചു ആകുന്നു പറഞ്ഞതു; യേശു അന്നു തേജസ്കരിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടില്ലായ്കയാല് ആത്മാവു വന്നിട്ടില്ലായിരുന്നു.

38. Hee that beleeueth in mee, as saith the Scripture, out of his bellie shall flowe riuers of water of life.

39. പുരുഷാരത്തില് പലരും ആ വാക്കു കേട്ടിട്ടുഇവന് സാക്ഷാല് ആ പ്രവാചകന് ആകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

39. (This spake hee of the Spirite which they that beleeued in him, should receiue: for the holy Ghost was not yet giuen, because that Iesus was not yet glorified.)

40. വേറെ ചിലര്ഇവന് ക്രിസ്തു തന്നേ എന്നും മറ്റു ചിലര്ഗലീലയില് നിന്നോ ക്രിസ്തു വരുന്നതു? ദാവീദിന്റെ സന്തതിയില് നിന്നും ദാവീദ് പാര്ത്ത ഗ്രാമമായ ബേത്ത്ളേഹെമില്നിന്നും ക്രിസ്തു വരുന്നു എന്നു തിരുവെഴുത്തു പറയുന്നില്ലയോ എന്നും പറഞ്ഞു.

43. So was there dissension among the people for him.

44. ഈ മനുഷ്യന് സംസാരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ആരും ഒരുനാളും സംസാരിച്ചിട്ടില്ല എന്നു ചേവകര് ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

44. And some of them would haue taken him, but no man layde handes on him.

45. പരീശന്മാര് അവരോടുനിങ്ങളും തെറ്റിപ്പോയോ?

45. Then came the officers to the hie Priests and Pharises, and they said vnto them, Why haue ye not brought him?

46. പ്രമാണികളില് ആകട്ടെ പരീശന്മാരില് ആകട്ടെ ആരെങ്കിലും അവനില് വിശ്വസിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടോ?

46. The officers answered, Neuer man spake like this man.

47. ന്യായപ്രമാണം അറിയാത്ത പുരുഷാരമോ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരാകുന്നു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

47. Then answered them the Pharises, Are yee also deceiued?

48. അവരില് ഒരുത്തനായി, മുമ്പെ അവന്റെ അടുക്കല് വന്നിരുന്ന നിക്കൊദേമൊസ് അവരോടു

48. Doeth any of the rulers, or of the Pharises beleeue in him?

49. ഒരു മനുഷ്യന്റെ വാമൊഴി ആദ്യം കേട്ടു, അവന് ചെയ്യുന്നതു ഇന്നതു എന്നു അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടല്ലാതെ നമ്മുടെ ന്യായ പ്രമാണം അവനെ വിധിക്കുന്നുവോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

49. But this people, which know not the Law, are cursed.

50. അവര് അവനോടുനീയും ഗലീലക്കാരനോ? പരിശോധിച്ചുനോക്കുക; ഗലീലയില് നിന്നു പ്രവാചകന് എഴുന്നേലക്കുന്നില്ലല്ലോ എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

50. Nicodemus said vnto them, (he that came to Iesus by night, and was one of them.)

51. അങ്ങനെ ഔരോരുത്തന് താന്താന്റെ വീട്ടില് പോയി.

51. Doth our Law iudge a man before it heare him, and knowe what he hath done?
