1. ദൈവം തന്റെ പുത്രനും നമ്മുടെ കര്ത്താവുമായ യേശു ക്രിസ്തുവിനെക്കുറിച്ചു

1. From: Sha'ul, a slave of the Messiah Yeshua, an emissary because I was called and set apart for the Good News of God.

2. വിശുദ്ധരേഖകളില് തന്റെ പ്രവാചകന്മാര് മുഖാന്തരം മുമ്പുകൂട്ടി വാഗ്ദത്തം ചെയ്ത സുവിശേഷത്തിന്നായി വേര്തിരിച്ചു വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ട അപ്പൊസ്തലനും യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ദാസനുമായ പൌലൊസ്

2. God promised this Good News in advance through his prophets in the [Tanakh].

3. റോമയില് ദൈവത്തിന്നു പ്രയരും വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ട വിശുദ്ധന്മാരുമായ എല്ലാവര്ക്കും എഴുതുന്നതു

3. It concerns his Son- he is descended from David physically;

4. നമ്മുടെ പിതാവായ ദൈവത്തിങ്കല് നിന്നും കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്നും നിങ്ങള്ക്കു കൃപയും സമാധാനവും ഉണ്ടാകട്ടെ.

4. he was powerfully demonstrated to be Son of God spiritually, set apart by his having been resurrected from the dead; he is Yeshua the Messiah, our Lord.

5. ജഡം സംബന്ധിച്ചു ദാവീദിന്റെ സന്തതിയില്നിന്നു ജനിക്കയും മരിച്ചിട്ടു ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേല്ക്കയാല് വിശുദ്ധിയുടെ ആത്മാവു സംബന്ധിച്ചു ദൈവ പുത്രന് എന്നു ശക്തിയോടെ നിര്ണ്ണയിക്കപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നവനാലല്ലോ ഞങ്ങള്

5. Through him we received grace and were given the work of being an emissary on his behalf promoting trust-grounded obedience among all the Gentiles,

6. അവന്റെ നാമത്തിന്നായി സകലജാതികളുടെയും ഇടയില് വിശ്വാസത്തിന്നു അനുസരണം വരുത്തേണ്ടതിന്നു കൃപയും അപ്പൊസ്തലത്വവും പ്രാപിച്ചതു.

6. including you, who have been called by Yeshua the Messiah.

7. അവരില് യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്നായി വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ട നിങ്ങളും ഉള്പ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

7. To: All those in Rome whom God loves, who have been called, who have been set apart for him: Grace to you and [shalom] from God our Father and the Lord Yeshua the Messiah.

8. നിങ്ങളുടെ വിശ്വാസം സര്വ്വലോകത്തിലും പ്രസിദ്ധമായിരിക്കുന്നതിനാല് ഞാന് ആദ്യം തന്നേ എന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്നു യേശുക്രിസ്തുമുഖാന്തരം നിങ്ങള്ക്കെല്ലാവര്ക്കും വേണ്ടി സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യുന്നു.

8. First, I thank my God through Yeshua the Messiah for all of you, because the report of your trust is spreading throughout the whole world.

9. ഞാന് ഇടവിടാതെ നിങ്ങളെ ഔര്ത്തുകൊണ്ടു ദൈവേഷ്ടത്താല് എപ്പോള് എങ്കിലും നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കല് വരുവാന് സാധിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു എന്റെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥനയില് എപ്പോഴും യാചിക്കുന്നു

9. For God, whom I serve in my spirit by spreading the Good News about his Son, is my witness that I regularly remember you

10. എന്നുള്ളതിന്നു അവന്റെ പുത്രനെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള സുവിശേഷഘോഷണത്തില് ഞാന് എന്റെ ആത്മാവില് ആരാധിക്കുന്ന ദൈവം എനിക്കു സാക്ഷി.

10. in my prayers; and I always pray that somehow, now or in the future, I might, by God's will, succeed in coming to visit you.

11. നിങ്ങളുടെ സ്ഥിരീകരണത്തിന്നായി ആത്മികവരം വല്ലതും നിങ്ങള്ക്കു നല്കേണ്ടതിന്നു,

11. For I long to see you, so that I might share with you some spiritual gift that can make you stronger-

12. അതായതു നിങ്ങള്ക്കും എനിക്കും ഒത്തൊരുമിച്ചുള്ള വിശ്വാസത്താല് നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ എനിക്കും ആശ്വാസം ലഭിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ കാണ്മാന് വാഞ്ഛിക്കുന്നു.

12. or, to put it another way, so that by my being with you, we might, through the faith we share, encourage one another.

13. എന്നാല് സഹോദരന്മാരേ, എനിക്കു ശേഷം ജാതികളില് എന്നപോലെ നിങ്ങളിലും വല്ല ഫലവും ഉണ്ടാകേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കല് വരുവാന് പലപ്പോഴും ഭാവിച്ചു എങ്കിലും ഇതുവരെ മുടക്കം വന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയാതിരിക്കരുതു എന്നു ഞാന് ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു.

13. Brothers, I want you to know that although I have been prevented from visiting you until now, I have often planned to do so, in order that I might have some fruit among you, just as I have among the other Gentiles.

14. യവനന്മാര്ക്കും ബര്ബരന്മാര്ക്കും ജ്ഞാനികള്ക്കും ബുദ്ധിഹീനര്ക്കും ഞാന് കടക്കാരന് ആകുന്നു.

14. I owe a debt to both civilized Greeks and uncivilized people, to both the educated and the ignorant;

15. അങ്ങനെ റോമയിലുള്ള നിങ്ങളോടും സുവിശേഷം അറിയിപ്പാന് എന്നാല് ആവോളം ഞാന് ഒരുങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

15. therefore I am eager to proclaim the Good News also to you who live in Rome.

16. സുവിശേഷത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു എനിക്കു ലജ്ജയില്ല; വിശ്വസിക്കുന്ന ഏവന്നും ആദ്യം യെഹൂദന്നും പിന്നെ യവനവന്നും അതു രക്ഷെക്കായി ദൈവശക്തിയാകുന്നുവല്ലോ.

16. For I am not ashamed of the Good News, since it is God's powerful means of bringing salvation to everyone who keeps on trusting, to the Jew especially, but equally to the Gentile.

17. അതില് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നീതി വിശ്വാസം ഹേതുവായും വിശ്വാസത്തിന്നായിക്കൊണ്ടും വെളിപ്പെടുന്നു. “നീതിമാന് വിശ്വാസത്താല് ജീവിക്കും” എന്നു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

17. For in it is revealed how God makes people righteous in his sight; and from beginning to end it is through trust- as the [Tanakh] puts it, 'But the person who is righteous will live his life by trust.'

18. അനീതികൊണ്ടു സത്യത്തെ തടുക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യരുടെ സകല അഭക്തിക്കും അനീതിക്കും നേരെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കോപം സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില് നിന്നു വെളിപ്പെടുന്നു.

18. What is revealed is God's anger from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people who in their wickedness keep suppressing the truth;

19. ദൈവത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു അറിയാകുന്നതു അവര്ക്കും വെളിവായിരിക്കുന്നു;

19. because what is known about God is plain to them, since God has made it plain to them.

20. ദൈവം അവര്ക്കും വെളിവാക്കിയല്ലോ. അവന്റെ നിത്യശക്തിയും ദിവ്യത്വവുമായി അവന്റെ അദൃശ്യലക്ഷണങ്ങള് ലോകസൃഷ്ടിമുതല് അവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളാല് ബുദ്ധിക്കു തെളിവായി വെളിപ്പെട്ടുവരുന്നു; അവര്ക്കും പ്രതിവാദമില്ലാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ.

20. For ever since the creation of the universe his invisible qualities- both his eternal power and his divine nature- have been clearly seen, because they can be understood from what he has made. Therefore, they have no excuse;

21. അവര് ദൈവത്തെ അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടും അവനെ ദൈവമെന്നു ഔര്ത്തു മഹത്വീകരിക്കയോ നന്ദി കാണിക്കയോ ചെയ്യാതെ തങ്ങളുടെ നിരൂപണങ്ങളില് വ്യര്ത്ഥരായിത്തീര്ന്നു, അവരുടെ വിവേകമില്ലാത്ത ഹൃദയം ഇരുണ്ടുപോയി.

21. because, although they know who God is, they do not glorify him as God or thank him. On the contrary, they have become futile in their thinking; and their undiscerning hearts have become darkened.

22. ജ്ഞാനികള് എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു കൊണ്ടു അവര് മൂഢരായിപ്പോയി;

22. Claiming to be wise, they have become fools!

23. അക്ഷയനായ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ തേജസ്സിനെ അവര് ക്ഷയമുള്ള മനുഷ്യന് , പക്ഷി, നാല്ക്കാലി, ഇഴജാതി എന്നിവയുടെ രൂപ സാദൃശ്യമായി മാറ്റിക്കളഞ്ഞു.

23. In fact, they have exchanged the glory of the immortal God for mere images, like a mortal human being, or like birds, animals or reptiles!

24. അതുകൊണ്ടു ദൈവം അവരെ തങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളിലെ മോഹങ്ങളില് സ്വന്തശരീരങ്ങളെ തമ്മില് തമ്മില് അവമാനിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അശുദ്ധിയില് ഏല്പിച്ചു.

24. This is why God has given them up to the vileness of their hearts' lusts, to the shameful misuse of each other's bodies.

25. ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സത്യം അവര് വ്യാജമാക്കി മാറ്റിക്കളഞ്ഞു, സൃഷ്ടിച്ചവനെക്കാള് സൃഷ്ടിയെ ഭജിച്ചു ആരാധിച്ചു; അവന് എന്നേക്കും വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെട്ടവന് , ആമേന് .

25. They have exchanged the truth of God for falsehood, by worshipping and serving created things, rather than the Creator- praised be he for ever. [Amen].

26. അതുകൊണ്ടു ദൈവം അവരെ അവമാനരാഗങ്ങളില് ഏല്പിച്ചു; അവരുടെ സ്ത്രീകള് സ്വാഭാവികഭോഗത്തെ സ്വഭാവവിരുദ്ധമാക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു.

26. This is why God has given them up to degrading passions; so that their women exchange natural sexual relations for unnatural;

27. അവ്വണ്ണം പുരുഷന്മാരും സ്വാഭാവികസ്ത്രീഭോഗം വിട്ടു അന്യോന്യം കാമം ജ്വലിച്ചു ആണോടു ആണ് അവലക്ഷണമായതു പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചു. ഇങ്ങനെ അവര് തങ്ങളുടെ വിഭ്രമത്തിന്നു യോഗ്യമായ പ്രതിഫലം തങ്ങളില് തന്നേ പ്രാപിച്ചു.

27. and likewise the men, giving up natural relations with the opposite sex, burn with passion for one another, men committing shameful acts with other men and receiving in their own persons the penalty appropriate to their perversion.

28. ദൈവത്തെ പരിജ്ഞാനത്തില് ധരിപ്പാന് ഇഷ്ടമില്ലാഞ്ഞതിന്നു തക്കവണ്ണം ദൈവം അവരെ ഉചിതമല്ലാത്തതു ചെയ്വാന് നികൃഷ്ടബുദ്ധിയില് ഏല്പിച്ചു.

28. In other words, since they have not considered God worth knowing, God has given them up to worthless ways of thinking; so that they do improper things.

29. അവര് സകല അനീതിയും ദുഷ്ടതയും അത്യാഗ്രഹവും ദുര്ബ്ബുദ്ധിയും നിറഞ്ഞവര്; അസൂയ, കുല, പിണക്കം, കപടം, ദുശ്ശീലം എന്നിവ തിങ്ങിയവര്,

29. They are filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and vice; stuffed with jealousy, murder, quarrelling, dishonesty and ill-will; they are gossips,

30. കുരളക്കാര്, ഏഷണിക്കാര്, ദൈവദ്വേഷികള്, നിഷ്ഠൂരന്മാര്, ഗര്വ്വിഷ്ഠന്മാര്, ആത്മപ്രശംസക്കാര്, പുതുദോഷം സങ്കല്പിക്കുന്നവര്, മാതാപിതാക്കന്മാരെ അനുസരിക്കാത്തവര്,

30. slanderers, haters of God; they are insolent, arrogant and boastful; they plan evil schemes; they disobey their parents;

31. ബുദ്ധി ഹീനര്, നിയമലംഘികള്, വാത്സല്യമില്ലാത്തവര്, കനിവറ്റവര്

31. they are brainless, faithless, heartless and ruthless.

32. ഈ വക പ്രവൃത്തിക്കുന്നവര് മരണയോഗ്യര് എന്നുള്ള ദൈവന്യായം അവര് അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടും അവയെ പ്രവര്ത്തിക്ക മാത്രമല്ല പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നവരില് പ്രസാദിക്കയുംകൂടെ ചെയ്യുന്നു.

32. They know well enough God's righteous decree that people who do such things deserve to die; yet not only do they keep doing them, but they applaud others who do the same.
