3. Lord, they have killed Your prophets and torn down Your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life.

4. But what does the Divine response say to him? I have reserved to Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.

5. Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

6. And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace no longer becomes grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

7. What then? Israel has not obtained what it seeks; but the elect have obtained it, and the rest were hardened.

8. Just as it is written: God has given them a spirit of deep sleep, eyes that they should not see and ears that they should not hear, to this very day.

10. Let their eyes be darkened, so that they do not see, and bow down their back always.

14. if by any means I may provoke to jealousy those who are my flesh and save some of them.

15. അവരുടെ ഭ്രംശം ലോകത്തിന്റെ നിരപ്പിന്നു ഹേതുവായി എങ്കില് അവരുടെ അംഗീകരണം മരിച്ചവരുടെ ഉയിര്പ്പെന്നല്ലാതെ എന്താകും?

15. For if their being cast away is the reconciling of the world, what will their reception be but life from the dead?

16. ആദ്യഭാഗം വിശുദ്ധം എങ്കില് പിണ്ഡം മുഴുവനും അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ; വേര് വിശുദ്ധം എങ്കില് കൊമ്പുകളും അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ.

16. For if the firstfruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches.

17. And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree,

18. കൊമ്പുകളുടെ നേരെ പ്രശംസിക്കരുതു; പ്രശംസിക്കുന്നുവെങ്കില് നീ വേരിനെ അല്ല വേര് നിന്നെയത്രേ ചുമക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഔര്ക്ക.

18. do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you.

19. എന്നാല് എന്നെ ഒട്ടിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു കൊമ്പുകളെ ഒടിച്ചു കളഞ്ഞു എന്നു നീ പറയും.

19. You will say then, The branches were broken off that I might be grafted in.

20. ശരി; അവിശ്വാസത്താല് അവ ഒടിച്ചുപോയി; വിശ്വാസത്താല് നീ നിലക്കുന്നു; ഞെളിയാതെ ഭയപ്പെടുക.

20. Well, because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be highminded, but fear.

21. സ്വാഭാവികകൊമ്പുകളെ ദൈവം ആദരിക്കാതെ പോയെങ്കില് നിന്നെയും ആദരിക്കാതെ വന്നേക്കും.

21. For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either.

22. ആകയാല് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ദയയും ഖണ്ഡിതവും കാണ്ക; വീണവരില് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ഖണ്ഡിതവും; നിന്നിലോ നീ ദയയില് നിലനിന്നാല് ദയയും തന്നേ; അല്ലെങ്കില് നീയും ഛേദിക്കപ്പെടും.

22. Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: On those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off.

23. അവിശ്വാസത്തില് നിലനില്ക്കാഞ്ഞാല് അവരെയും കൂടെ ഒട്ടിക്കും; അവരെ വീണ്ടും ഒട്ടിപ്പാന് ദൈവം ശക്തനല്ലോ.

23. And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.

24. സ്വഭാവത്താല് കാട്ടുമരമായതില്നിന്നു നിന്നെ മുറിച്ചെടുത്തു സ്വഭാവത്തിന്നു വിരോധമായി നല്ല ഒലിവുമരത്തില് ഒട്ടിച്ചു എങ്കില്, സ്വാഭാവികകൊമ്പുകളായവരെ സ്വന്തമായ ഒലിവുമരത്തില് എത്ര അധികമായി ഒട്ടിക്കും.

24. For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, who are natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree.

25. സഹോദരന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങള് ബുദ്ധിമാന്മാരെന്നു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തന്നേ തോന്നാതിരിപ്പാന് ഈ രഹസ്യം അറിയാതിരിക്കരുതു എന്നു ഞാന് ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു; ജാതികളുടെ പൂര്ണ്ണ സംഖ്യ ചേരുവോളം യിസ്രായേലിന്നു അംശമായി കാഠിന്യം ഭവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

25. For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, that you not be wise within yourselves, that hardness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles comes in.

28. Indeed, concerning the gospel they are enemies because of you, but concerning the election they are beloved because of the fathers.

29. ദൈവം തന്റെ കൃപാവരങ്ങളെയും വിളിയെയും കുറിച്ചു അനുതപിക്കുന്നില്ലല്ലോ.

29. For the gifts and the calling of God are without regret.

30. നിങ്ങള് മുമ്പെ ദൈവത്തെ അനുസരിക്കാതിരുന്നിട്ടു അവരുടെ അനുസരണക്കേടിനാല് ഇപ്പോള് കരുണ ലഭിച്ചതുപോലെ,

30. For as you were once disobedient to God, yet have now obtained mercy through their disobedience,

31. നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ലഭിച്ച കരുണയാല് അവര്ക്കും കരുണ ലഭിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവരും ഇപ്പോള് അനുസരിക്കാതിരിക്കുന്നു.

31. even so these also have now been disobedient, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.

32. ദൈവം എല്ലാവരോടും കരുണ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു എല്ലാവരെയും അനുസരണക്കേടില് അടെച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

32. For God has enclosed everyone in disobedience, that He might have mercy on each one.

33. ഹാ, ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ധനം, ജ്ഞാനം, അറിവു എന്നിവയുടെ ആഴമേ! അവന്റെ ന്യായവിധികള് എത്ര അപ്രമേയവും അവന്റെ വഴികള് എത്ര അഗോചരവും ആകുന്നു.

33. Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!

35. Or who has first given to Him and it shall be repaid to him?

36. സകലവും അവനില് നിന്നു അവനാലും അവങ്കലേക്കും ആകുന്നുവല്ലോ; അവന്നു എന്നേക്കും മഹത്വം ആമേന് .

36. For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen.
