1. I commend unto you Phebe our sister (which is a minister of the congregation of Cencrea)

17. സഹോദരന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങള് പഠിച്ച ഉപദേശത്തിന്നു വിപരീതമായ ദ്വന്ദ്വപക്ഷങ്ങളെയും ഇടര്ച്ചകളെയും ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നവരെ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്ളേണമെന്നു ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ പ്രബോധിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. അവരോടു അകന്നു മാറുവിന് .

19. for your obedience is spoken of among(extendeth to)(published among) all men. I am glad no doubt of you.(Therefore am I glad) But yet I would have you wise unto that which is good. And to be innocent as concerning evil.

20. സമാധാനത്തിന്റെ ദൈവമോ വേഗത്തില് സാത്താനെ നിങ്ങളുടെ കാല്ക്കീഴെ ചതെച്ചുകളയും. നമ്മുടെ കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ കൃപ നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ.

25. To him that is of power to establish you according to my gospel,(gospell) where with I preach(gospell and preaching of) Jesus Christ, in opening(uttering) of the mystery which was kept close(secret) since the world began,
