1. അതുകൊണ്ടു വിധിക്കുന്ന ഏതു മനുഷ്യനുമായുള്ളോവേ, നിനക്കു പ്രതിവാദം പറവാന് ഇല്ല; അന്യനെ വിധിക്കുന്നതില് നീ നിന്നെത്തന്നെ കുറ്റം വിധിക്കുന്നു; വിധിക്കുന്ന നീ അതു തന്നേ പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

1. So you have no reason, whoever you are, for judging: for in judging another you are judging yourself, for you do the same things.

2. എന്നാല് ആവക പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നവരുടെ നേരെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വിധി സത്യാനുസരണയായിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നാം അറിയുന്നു.

2. And we are conscious that God is a true judge against those who do such things.

3. ആവക പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നവരെ വിധിക്കയും അതു തന്നേ പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്ന മനുഷ്യ, നീ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വിധിയില്നിന്നു തെറ്റി ഒഴിയും എന്നു നിനെക്കുന്നുവോ?

3. But you who are judging another for doing what you do yourself, are you hoping that God's decision will not take effect against you?

4. അല്ല, ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ദയ നിന്നെ മാനസാന്തരത്തിലേക്കു നടത്തുന്നു എന്നു അറിയാതെ നീ അവന്റെ ദയ, ക്ഷമ, ദീര്ഘക്ഷാന്തി എന്നിവയുടെ ഐശ്വര്യം നിരസിക്കുന്നുവോ?

4. Or is it nothing to you that God had pity on you, waiting and putting up with you for so long, not seeing that in his pity God's desire is to give you a change of heart?

5. എന്നാല് നിന്റെ കാഠിന്യത്താലും അനുതാപമില്ലാത്ത ഹൃദയത്താലും നീ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നീതിയുള്ള വിധി വെളിപ്പെടുന്ന കോപദിവസത്തേക്കു നിനക്കു തന്നേ കോപം ചരതിച്ചുവെക്കുന്നു.

5. But by your hard and unchanged heart you are storing up wrath for yourself in the day of the revelation of God's judging in righteousness;

6. അവന് ഔരോരുത്തന്നു അവനവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിക്കു തക്ക പകരം ചെയ്യും.

6. Who will give to every man his right reward:

7. നല്ല പ്രവൃത്തിക്കു വേണ്ടുന്ന സ്ഥിരത പൂണ്ടു തേജസ്സും മാനവും അക്ഷയതയും അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവര്ക്കും

7. To those who go on with good works in the hope of glory and honour and salvation from death, he will give eternal life:

8. നിത്യജീവനും, ശാഠ്യം പൂണ്ടു സത്യം അനുസരിക്കാതെ അനീതി അനുസരിക്കുന്നവര്ക്കും കോപവും ക്രോധവും കൊടുക്കും.

8. But to those who, from a love of competition, are not guided by what is true, will come the heat of his wrath,

9. തിന്മ പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്ന ഏതു മനുഷ്യാത്മാവിന്നും കഷ്ടവും സങ്കടവും ആദ്യം യെഹൂദന്നും പിന്നെ യവനന്നും വരും.

9. Trouble and sorrow on all whose works are evil, to the Jew first and then to the Greek;

10. നന്മ പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്ന ഏവന്നു മഹത്വവും മാനവും സമാധാനവും ആദ്യം യെഹൂദന്നും പിന്നെ യവനന്നും ലഭിക്കും.

10. But glory and honour and peace to all whose works are good, to the Jew first and then to the Greek:

11. ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പക്കല് മുഖപക്ഷം ഇല്ലല്ലോ.

11. For one man is not different from another before God.

12. ന്യായപ്രമാണം ഇല്ലാതെ പാപം ചെയ്തവര് ഒക്കെയും ന്യായപ്രമാണം കൂടാതെ നശിച്ചുപോകും; ന്യായപ്രമാണം ഉണ്ടായിട്ടു പാപം ചെയ്തവര് ഒക്കെയും ന്യായപ്രമാണത്താല് വിധിക്കപ്പെടും.

12. All those who have done wrong without the law will get destruction without the law: and those who have done wrong under the law will have their punishment by the law;

13. ന്യായപ്രമാണം കേള്ക്കുന്നവരല്ല ദൈവസന്നിധിയില് നീതിമാന്മാര്; ന്യായപ്രമാണം ആചരിക്കുന്നവരത്രേ നീതികരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നതു.

13. For it is not the hearers of the law who will be judged as having righteousness before God, but only the doers:

14. ന്യായപ്രമാണമില്ലാത്ത ജാതികള് ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിലുള്ളതു സ്വഭാവത്താല് ചെയ്യുമ്പോള് ന്യായപ്രമാണമില്ലാത്ത അവര് തങ്ങള്ക്കു തന്നേ ഒരു ന്യായപ്രമാണം ആകുന്നു.

14. For when the Gentiles without the law have a natural desire to do the things in the law, they are a law to themselves;

15. അവരുടെ മനസ്സാക്ഷിക്കുടെ സാക്ഷ്യം പറഞ്ഞും അവരുടെ വിചാരങ്ങള് തമ്മില് കുറ്റം ചുമത്തുകയോ പ്രതിവാദിക്കയോ ചെയ്തുംകൊണ്ടു അവര് ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തി തങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയത്തില് എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നതായി കാണിക്കുന്നു;

15. Because the work of the law is seen in their hearts, their sense of right and wrong giving witness to it, while their minds are at one time judging them and at another giving them approval;

16. ദൈവം യേശു ക്രിസ്തു മുഖാന്തരം മനുഷ്യരുടെ രഹസ്യങ്ങളെ എന്റെ സുവിശേഷപ്രകാരം ന്യായം വിധിക്കുന്ന നാളില് തന്നേ.

16. In the day when God will be a judge of the secrets of men, as it says in the good news of which I am a preacher, through Jesus Christ.

17. നീയോ യെഹൂദന് എന്നു പേര് കൊണ്ടും ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തില് ആശ്രയിച്ചും

17. But as for you who have the name of Jew, and are resting on the law, and take pride in God,

18. ദൈവത്തില് പ്രശംസിച്ചും ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തില് നിന്നു പഠിക്കയാല് അവന്റെ ഇഷ്ടം അറിഞ്ഞും ഭേദാഭേദങ്ങള് വിവേചിച്ചും

18. And have knowledge of his desires, and are a judge of the things which are different, having the learning of the law,

19. ജ്ഞാനത്തിന്റെയും സത്യത്തിന്റെയും സ്വരൂപം ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തില് നിന്നു നിനക്കു ലഭിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു നീ കുരുടര്ക്കും വഴി കാട്ടുന്നവന് ,

19. In the belief that you are a guide to the blind, a light to those in the dark,

20. ഇരുട്ടിലുള്ളവര്ക്കും വെളിച്ചം, മൂഢരെ പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്നവന് , ശിശുക്കള്ക്കു ഉപദേഷ്ടാവു എന്നു ഉറെച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നെങ്കില്-

20. A teacher of the foolish, having in the law the form of knowledge and of what is true;

21. ഹേ, അന്യനെ ഉപദേശിക്കുന്നവനേ, നീ നിന്നെത്തന്നെ ഉപദേശിക്കാത്തതു എന്തു? മോഷ്ടിക്കരുതു എന്നു പ്രസംഗിക്കുന്ന നീ മോഷ്ടിക്കുന്നുവോ?

21. You who give teaching to others, do you give it to yourself? you who say that a man may not take what is not his, do you take what is not yours?

22. വ്യഭിചാരം ചെയ്യരുതു എന്നു പറയുന്ന നീ വ്യഭിചാരം ചെയ്യുന്നുവോ? വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ വെറുക്കുന്ന നീ ക്ഷേത്രം കവര്ച്ച ചെയ്യുന്നുവോ?

22. You who say that a man may not be untrue to his wife, are you true to yours? you who are a hater of images, do you do wrong to the house of God?

23. ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തില് പ്രശംസിക്കുന്ന നീ ന്യായപ്രമാണലംഘനത്താല് ദൈവത്തെ അപമാനിക്കുന്നുവോ?

23. You who take pride in the law, are you doing wrong to the honour of God by behaviour which is against the law?

24. “നിങ്ങള് നിമിത്തം ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നാമം ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില് ദുഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു” എന്നു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

24. For the name of God is shamed among the Gentiles because of you, as it is said in the holy Writings.

25. നീ ന്യായപ്രമാണം ആചരിച്ചാല് പരിച്ഛേദന പ്രയോജനമുള്ളതു സത്യം; ന്യായപ്രമാണലംഘിയായാലോ നിന്റെ പരിച്ഛേദന അഗ്രചര്മ്മമായിത്തീര്ന്നു.

25. It is true that circumcision is of use if you keep the law, but if you go against the law it is as if you had it not.

26. അഗ്രചര്മ്മി ന്യായ പ്രമാണത്തിന്റെ നിയമങ്ങളെ പ്രമാണിച്ചാല് അവന്റെ അഗ്രചര്മ്മം പരിച്ഛേദന എന്നു എണ്ണുകയില്ലയോ?

26. If those who have not circumcision keep the rules of the law, will it not be credited to them as circumcision?

27. സ്വഭാവത്താല് അഗ്രചര്മ്മിയായവന് ന്യായപ്രമാണം അനുഷ്ഠിക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് അക്ഷരവും പരിച്ഛേദനയുമുള്ള ന്യായപ്രമാണലംഘിയായ നിന്നെ അവന് വിധിക്കയില്ലയോ?

27. And they, by their keeping of the law without circumcision, will be judges of you, by whom the law is broken though you have the letter of the law and circumcision.

28. പുറമെ യെഹൂദനായവന് യെഹൂദനല്ല; പുറമെ ജഡത്തിലുള്ളതു പരിച്ഛേദനയുമല്ല;

28. The true Jew is not one who is only so publicly, and circumcision is not that which may be seen in the flesh:

29. അകമെ യെഹൂദനായവനത്രേ യെഹൂദന് ; അക്ഷരത്തിലല്ല ആത്മാവിലുള്ള ഹൃദയപരിച്ഛേദനയത്രേ പരിച്ഛേദന; അവന്നു മനുഷ്യരാലല്ല ദൈവത്താല് തന്നേ പുകഴ്ച ലഭിക്കും.

29. But he is a Jew who is a secret one, whose circumcision is of the heart, in the spirit and not in the letter; whose praise is not from men, but from God.
