1. നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ പക്കല് അസാരം ബുദ്ധിഹീനത പൊറുത്തുകൊണ്ടാല് കൊള്ളായിരുന്നു; അതേ, നിങ്ങള് എന്നെ പൊറുത്തുകൊള്ളുന്നുവല്ലോ.

1. I could wish ye would bear with me as to some little foolishness, Nay! do even bear with me!

2. ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ എരിവോടെ എരിയുന്നു; ഞാന് ക്രിസ്തു എന്ന ഏകപുരുഷന്നു നിങ്ങളെ നിര്മ്മലകന്യകയായി ഏല്പിപ്പാന് വിവാഹനിശ്ചയം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

2. For I am jealous over you with a jealousy, of God; for I myself betrothed you unto one husband, to present, a chaste virgin, unto the Christ,

3. എന്നാല് സര്പ്പം ഹവ്വയെ ഉപായത്താല് ചതിച്ചതുപോലെ നിങ്ങളുടെ മനസ്സു ക്രിസ്തുവിനോടുള്ള ഏകാഗ്രതയും നിര്മ്മലതയും വിട്ടു വഷളായിപ്പോകുമോ എന്നു ഞാന് ഭയപ്പെടുന്നു.

3. But I fear lest, by any means, as, the serpent, completely deceived Eve, in his craftiness, your minds should be corrupted from the singleness and the chasteness which are due unto the Christ.

4. ഒരുത്തന് വന്നു ഞങ്ങള് പ്രസംഗിക്കാത്ത മറ്റൊരു യേശുവിനെ പ്രസംഗിക്കയോ നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ലഭിക്കാത്ത വേറൊരു ആത്മാവെങ്കിലും നിങ്ങള് കൈക്കൊള്ളാത്ത വേറൊരു സുവിശേഷമെങ്കിലും ലഭിക്കയോ ചെയ്യുമ്പോള് നിങ്ങള് പൊറുക്കുന്നതു ആശ്ചര്യ്യം.

4. For, if, indeed, he that cometh, is proclaiming, another Jesus, whom we have not proclaimed, or, a different Spirit, ye are receiving, which ye had not received, or a different glad-message, which ye have never welcomed, ye are, well, bearing.

5. ഞാന് അതിശ്രേഷ്ഠതയുള്ള അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരെക്കാള് ഒട്ടും കുറഞ്ഞവനല്ല എന്നു നിരൂപിക്കുന്നു.

5. For I reckon not to have come a whit behind the exceeding overmuch apostles;

6. ഞാന് വാക്സാമര്ത്ഥ്യമില്ലാത്തവന് എങ്കിലും പരിജ്ഞാനമില്ലാത്തവനല്ല; ഞങ്ങള് അതു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു എല്ലായ്പോഴും എല്ലാവിധത്തിലും വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

6. And, even if uncultured in my discourse, certainly not in my knowledge, but, in every way, having made it manifest, in all things, unto you.

7. അല്ലെങ്കില് ഞാന് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സുവിശേഷം നിങ്ങള്ക്കു സൌജന്യമായി പ്രസംഗിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങള് ഉയരേണ്ടതിന്നു എന്നെത്തന്നേ താഴ്ത്തുകയാല് പാപം ചെയ്തുവോ?

7. Or, a sin, did I commit abasing, myself, that, ye, might be exalted, in that, free of charge, God's glad-message, I announced unto you?

8. നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്വാന് ഞാന് മറ്റു സഭകളെ കവര്ന്നു അവരോടു ചെലവിന്നു വാങ്ങി.

8. Other assemblies, I despoiled, receiving supplies that I might minister, unto you;

9. നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് ഇരുന്നപ്പോള് മുട്ടുണ്ടായാറെ ഞാന് ഒരുത്തനെയും ഭാരപ്പെടുത്തിയില്ല. മക്കെദോന്യയില്നിന്നു വന്ന സഹോദരന്മാര് അത്രേ എന്റെ മുട്ടു തീര്ത്തതു. ഞാന് ഒരുവിധേനയും നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ഭാരമായിത്തീരാതവണ്ണം സൂക്ഷിച്ചു, മേലാലും സൂക്ഷിക്കും.

9. And, being present with you, and having come short, I was not burdensome to anyone, for, my deficiency, the brethren, coming from Macedonia, helped to make up; and, in everything, without burden unto you, I kept, myself and will keep!

10. എന്നിലുള്ള ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ സത്യത്താണ അഖായപ്രദേശങ്ങളില് ഈ പ്രശംസ എനിക്കു ആരും ഇല്ലാതാക്കുകയില്ല.

10. Truth of Christ is in me, that, this boasting, shall not be silenced unto me, in the regions of Achaia.

11. അതു എന്തുകൊണ്ടു? ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ സ്നേഹിക്കായ്കകൊണ്ടോ? ദൈവം അറിയുന്നു.

11. Wherefore? Because I love you not? God, knoweth!

12. എന്നെ നിന്ദിപ്പാന് കാരണം അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവര്ക്കും കാരണം അറുത്തുകളയേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാന് ചെയ്യുന്നതു മേലാലും ചെയ്യും; അവര് പ്രശംസിക്കുന്ന കാര്യ്യത്തില് ഞങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ അവരെ കാണട്ടെ.

12. But, what I am doing, I also will do, that I may cut off the occasion of them who are wishing an occasion, that, wherein they are boasting themselves, they may be found even as also, we.

13. ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ളവര് കള്ളയപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാര്, കപടവേലക്കാര്, ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരുടെ വേഷം ധരിക്കുന്നവരത്രേ; അതു ആശ്ചര്യ്യവുമല്ല;

13. For, such as these, are false apostles, deceitful workers, transfiguring themselves into apostles of Christ.

14. സാത്താന് താനും വെളിച്ചദൂതന്റെ വേഷം ധരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

14. And no marvel! for, Satan himself, doth transfigure himself into a messenger of light!

15. ആകയാല് അവന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷക്കാര് നീതിയുടെ ശുശ്രൂഷക്കാരുടെ വേഷം ധരിച്ചാല് അതിശയമല്ല; അവരുടെ അവസാനം അവരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികള്ക്കു ഒത്തതായിരിക്കും.

15. No great thing, therefore, if, his ministers also, are transfiguring themselves as ministers of righteousness! whose end, shall be according to their works.

16. ആരും എന്നെ ബുദ്ധിഹീനന് എന്നു വിചാരിക്കരുതു എന്നു ഞാന് പിന്നെയും പറയുന്നു; വിചാരിച്ചാലോ ഞാനും അല്പം പ്രശംസിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ബുദ്ധിഹീനനെപ്പോലെയെങ്കിലും എന്നെ കൈക്കൊള്വിന് .

16. Again, I say let no one deem me to be, foolish; but, otherwise, at least, as foolish, give me welcome, that, I also, some little, may boast myself.

17. ഞാന് ഈ സംസാരിക്കുന്നതു കര്ത്താവിന്റെ ഹിതപ്രകാരമല്ല, പ്രശംസിക്കുന്ന ഈ അതിധൈര്യ്യത്തോടെ ബുദ്ധിഹീനനെപ്പോലെ അത്രേ സംസാരിക്കുന്നതു.

17. What I am saying, not according to the Lord, am I saying, but as in foolishness, in this my boastful confidence!

18. പലരും ജഡപ്രകാരം പ്രശംസിക്കയാല് ഞാനും പ്രശംസിക്കും.

18. Since, many, are boasting after the flesh, I also, will boast;

19. നിങ്ങള് ബുദ്ധിമാന്മാര് ആകയാല് ബുദ്ധിഹീനരെ സന്തോഷത്തോടെ പൊറുക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

19. For, gladly, do ye bear with the foolish, being yourselves , discreet,

20. നിങ്ങളെ ഒരുവന് അടിമപ്പെടുത്തിയാലും ഒരുവന് തിന്നുകളഞ്ഞാലും ഒരുവന് പിടിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുപോയാലും ഒരുവന് അഹംകരിച്ചാലും ഒരുവന് നിങ്ങളെ മുഖത്തു അടിച്ചാലും നിങ്ങള് പൊറുക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

20. For ye bear with it if anyone enslaveth you, if any devoureth, if anyone taketh, if anyone lifteth himself up, if anyone, on the face, doth smite you!

21. അതില് ഞങ്ങള് ബലഹീനരായിരുന്നു എന്നു ഞാന് മാനംകെട്ടു പറയുന്നു. എന്നാല് ആരെങ്കിലും ധൈര്യ്യപ്പെടുന്ന കാര്യ്യത്തില്--ഞാന് ബുദ്ധിഹീനനായി പറയുന്നു--ഞാനും ധൈര്യ്യപ്പെടുന്നു.

21. By way of disparagement, am I speaking, as though, we, had been weak! whereas, in whatsoever anyone dareth, in foolishness I speak, I also, dare:

22. അവര് എബ്രായരോ? ഞാനും അതേ; അവര് യിസ്രായേല്യരോ? ഞാനും അതേ; അവര് അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ സന്തതിയോ? ഞാനും അതേ;

22. Hebrews, are they? I also, Israelites, are they? I also, seed of Abraham, are they? I also,

23. ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷക്കാരോ?--ഞാന് ബുദ്ധിഭ്രമമായി സംസാരിക്കുന്നു--ഞാന് അധികം; ഞാന് ഏറ്റവും അധികം അദ്ധ്വാനിച്ചു, അധികം പ്രാവശ്യം തടവിലായി, അനവധി അടി കൊണ്ടു, പലപ്പോഴും പ്രാണഭയത്തിലായി;

23. Ministers of Christ, are they? As one deranged I am talking, I, above measure! in toils, superabundantly, in prisons, superabundantly, in stripes, to excess, in deaths, oft,

24. യെഹൂദരാല് ഞാന് ഒന്നു കുറയ നാല്പതു അടി അഞ്ചുവട്ടം കൊണ്ടു;

24. From Jews, five times, forty-save-one, have I received,

25. മൂന്നുവട്ടം കോലിനാല് അടികൊണ്ടു; ഒരിക്കല് കല്ലേറുകൊണ്ടു, മൂന്നുവട്ടം കപ്പല്ച്ചേതത്തില് അകപ്പെട്ടു, ഒരു രാപ്പകല് വെള്ളത്തില് കഴിച്ചു.

25. Thrice, have I been beaten with rods, once, have I been stoned, thrice, have I been shipwrecked, a day and night, in the deep, have I spent;

26. ഞാന് പലപ്പോഴും യാത്ര ചെയ്തു; നദികളിലെ ആപത്തു, കള്ളന്മാരാലുള്ള ആപത്തു, സ്വജനത്താലുള്ള ആപത്തു, ജതികളാലുള്ള ആപത്തു, പട്ടണത്തിലെ ആപത്തു, കാട്ടിലെ ആപത്തു, കടലിലെ ആപത്തു, കള്ളസ്സഹോദരന്മാരാലുള്ള ആപത്തു;

26. In journeyings oft, in perils of rivers, in perils of robbers, in perils from my own race, in perils from Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the desert, in perils by the sea, in perils among false brethren,

27. അദ്ധ്വാനം, പ്രയാസം, പലവട്ടം ഉറക്കിളപ്പു, പൈദാഹം, പലവട്ടം പട്ടിണി, ശീതം, നഗ്നത

27. in toil and hardship, in watchings, oft, in hunger and thirst, in fasting, oft, in cold and nakedness:

28. എന്നീ അസാധാരണസംഗതികള് ഭവിച്ചതു കൂടാതെ എനിക്കു ദിവസേന സര്വ്വസഭകളെയും കുറിച്ചുള്ള ചിന്താഭാരം എന്ന തിരക്കും ഉണ്ടു.

28. Apart from the things without, my daily care, my anxiety for all the assemblies;

29. ആര് ബലഹീനനായിട്ടു ഞാന് ബലഹീനനാകാതെ ഇരിക്കുന്നു? ആര് ഇടറിപ്പോയിട്ടു ഞാന് അഴലാതിരിക്കുന്നു?

29. Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is caused to stumble, and, I, am not burning?

30. പ്രശംസിക്കേണമെങ്കില് എന്റെ ബലഹീനതസംബന്ധിച്ചു ഞാന് പ്രശംസിക്കും.

30. If, to boast, is needful, in the things that concern my weakness, will I boast.

31. നമ്മുടെ കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ദൈവവും പിതാവുമായി എന്നേക്കും വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെട്ടവന് ഞാന് ഭോഷ്കല്ല പറയുന്നതു എന്നറിയുന്നു.

31. The God and Father of our Lord Jesus, knoweth He who is blessed unto the ages that I am not speaking falsely:

32. ദമസ്കൊസിലെ അരേതാരാജാവിന്റെ നാടുവാഴി എന്നെ പിടിപ്പാന് ഇച്ഛിച്ചു, ദമസ്കപട്ടണത്തെ കാവല് വെച്ചു കാത്തു.

32. In Damascus, the governor under Aretas the king, was guarding the city of Damascenes, to apprehend me,

33. എന്നാല് അവര് എന്നെ മതിലിലുള്ള ഒരു കിളിവാതില്വഴിയായി ഒരു കൊട്ടയില് ഇറക്കിവിട്ടു, അങ്ങനെ ഞാന് അവന്റെ കയ്യില്നിന്നു തെറ്റി ഔടിപ്പോയി.

33. And, through a window, was I let down by the wall, and escaped his hands.
