1. അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു കരുണ ലഭിച്ചിട്ടു ഈ ശുശ്രൂഷ ഉണ്ടാകയാല് ഞങ്ങള് അധൈര്യ്യപ്പെടാതെ

1. Therefore seeing we have this ministry, according to the mercy we have received, we fault not,

2. ലജ്ജാകരമായ രഹസ്യങ്ങളെ ത്യജിച്ചു ഉപായം പ്രയോഗിക്കാതെയും ദൈവവചനത്തില് കൂട്ടു ചേര്ക്കാതെയും സത്യം വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിനാല് ദൈവസന്നിധിയില് സകലമനുഷ്യരുടെയും മനസ്സാക്ഷിക്കു ഞങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ ബോദ്ധ്യമാക്കുന്നു.

2. but remove [from ourselves] every hidden shameful thing, not walking in craftiness, nor adulterating the word of God, but in the manifestation of the truth, commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

3. എന്നാല് ഞങ്ങളുടെ സുവിശേഷം മറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് നശിച്ചുപോകുന്നവര്ക്കത്രേ മറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

3. But if our gospel is hid, it is hid to those that are lost,

4. ദൈവപ്രതിമയായ ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ തേജസ്സുള്ള സുവിശേഷത്തിന്റെ പ്രകാശനം ശോഭിക്കാതിരിപ്പാന് ഈ ലോകത്തിന്റെ ദൈവം അവിശ്വാസികളുടെ മനസ്സു കുരുടാക്കി.

4. In whom the god of this age has blinded the understanding of those who do not believe, that the light of the gospel of the glory of the Christ, who is the image of God, should not shine [in] them.

5. ഞങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ അല്ല, ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിനെ കര്ത്താവു എന്നും ഞങ്ങളേയോ യേശു നിമിത്തം നിങ്ങളുടെ ദാസന്മാര് എന്നും അത്രേ ഞങ്ങള് പ്രസംഗിക്കുന്നതു.

5. For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

6. ഇരുട്ടില് നിന്നു വെളിച്ചം പ്രകാശിക്കേണം എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത ദൈവം യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ മുഖത്തിലുള്ള ദൈവതേജസ്സിന്റെ പരിജ്ഞാനം വിളങ്ങിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളില് പ്രകാശിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

6. For the God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our hearts to [bring forth] the light of the knowledge of the clarity of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

7. എങ്കിലും ഈ അത്യന്തശക്തി ഞങ്ങളുടെ സ്വന്തം എന്നല്ല, ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ദാനമത്രേ എന്നു വരേണ്ടതിന്നു ഈ നിക്ഷേപം ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു മണ്പാത്രങ്ങളില് ആകുന്നു ഉള്ളതു.

7. But we have this treasure in clay vessels that the excellency of the virtue may be of God, and not of us.

8. ഞങ്ങള് സകലവിധത്തിലും കഷ്ടം സഹിക്കുന്നവര് എങ്കിലും ഇടുങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നില്ല; ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുന്നവര് എങ്കിലും നിരാശപ്പെടുന്നില്ല;

8. [We are] troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are unsure [of our lives], but not in despair;

9. ഉപദ്രവം അനുഭവിക്കുന്നവര് എങ്കിലും ഉപേക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്നില്ല; വീണുകിടക്കുന്നവര് എങ്കിലും നശിച്ചുപോകുന്നില്ല;

9. persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

10. യേശുവിന്റെ ജീവന് ഞങ്ങളുടെ ശരീരത്തില് വെളിപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നു യേശുവിന്റെ മരണം ശരീരത്തില് എപ്പോഴും വഹിക്കുന്നു.

10. always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

11. ഞങ്ങളുടെ മര്ത്യശരീരത്തില് യേശുവിന്റെ ജീവന് വെളിപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നു ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ഞങ്ങള് എല്ലായ്പോഴും യേശുനിമിത്തം മരണത്തില് ഏല്പിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.

11. For we who live are always delivered unto death for Jesus' sake that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

12. അങ്ങനെ ഞങ്ങളില് മരണവും നിങ്ങളില് ജീവനും വ്യാപരിക്കുന്നു.

12. So then death works in us, but life in you.

13. “ഞാന് വിശ്വസിച്ചു, അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് സംസാരിച്ചു” എന്നു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നതു പോലെ വിശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ അതേ ആത്മാവു ഞങ്ങള്ക്കുള്ളതിനാല് ഞങ്ങളും വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു അതുകൊണ്ടു സംസാരിക്കുന്നു.
സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 116:10

13. We having the same Spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed and, therefore, I have spoken; we also believe and, therefore, speak;

14. കര്ത്താവായ യേശുവിനെ ഉയിര്പ്പിച്ചവന് ഞങ്ങളെയും യേശുവോടു കൂടെ ഉയിര്പ്പിച്ചു നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ തിരുസന്നിധിയില് നിറുത്തും എന്നു ഞങ്ങള് അറിയുന്നു.

14. knowing that he who raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise us up also by Jesus and shall present [us] with you.

15. കൃപ പലരിലും പെരുകി ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മഹിമെക്കായി സ്തോത്രം വര്ദ്ധിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു സകലവും നിങ്ങള്നിമിത്തമല്ലോ ആകുന്നു.

15. For [we suffer] all these things for your sakes that the grace abounding through many [may] in the thanksgiving redound to the glory of God.

16. അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞങ്ങള് അധൈര്യ്യപ്പെടാതെ ഞങ്ങളുടെ പുറമെയുള്ള മനുഷ്യന് ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോകുന്നു എങ്കിലും ഞങ്ങളുടെ അകമേയുള്ളവന് നാള്ക്കുനാള് പുതുക്കം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു.

16. Therefore we fault not; but though our outward man is wearing out, yet the inward [man] is renewed day by day.

17. നൊടിനേരത്തേക്കുള്ള ഞങ്ങളുടെ ലഘുവായ കഷ്ടം അത്യന്തം അനവധിയായി തേജസ്സിന്റെ നിത്യഘനം ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു കിട്ടുവാന് ഹേതുവാകുന്നു.

17. For our tribulation, which is momentary and light, prepares an exceeding [and] eternal weight of glory unto us;

18. കാണുന്നതിനെ അല്ല, കാണാത്തതിനെ അത്രേ ഞങ്ങള് നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; കാണുന്നതു താല്ക്കാലികം, കാണാത്തതോ നിത്യം.

18. while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen, for the things which are seen [are] temporal, but the things which are not seen [are] eternal.:
