1. അതുനിമിത്തം പൌലൊസ് എന്ന ഞാന് ജാതികളായ നിങ്ങള്ക്കു വേണ്ടി ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിന്റെ ബദ്ധനായിരിക്കുന്നു.

1. For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles--

2. നിങ്ങള്ക്കായി എനിക്കു ലഭിച്ച ദൈവകൃപയുടെ വ്യവസ്ഥയെക്കുറിച്ചു

2. if indeed you have heard of the stewardship of God's grace which was given to me for you;

3. ഞാന് മീതെ ചുരുക്കത്തില് എഴുതിയതുപോലെ വെളിപ്പാടിനാല് എനിക്കു ഒരു ധര്മ്മം അറിയായ്വന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങള് കേട്ടിട്ടുണ്ടല്ലോ.

3. that by revelation there was made known to me the mystery, as I wrote before in brief.

4. നിങ്ങള് അതുവായിച്ചാല് ക്രിസ്തുവിനെ സംബന്ധിച്ചുള്ള മര്മ്മത്തില് എനിക്കുള്ള ബോധം നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ഗ്രഹിക്കാം.

4. By referring to this, when you read you can understand my insight into the mystery of Christ,

5. ആ മര്മ്മം ഇപ്പോള് അവന്റെ വിശുദ്ധ അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാര്ക്കും പ്രവാചകന്മാര്ക്കും ആത്മാവിനാല് വെളിപ്പെട്ടതുപോലെ പൂര്വ്വകാലങ്ങളില് മനുഷ്യര്ക്കും അറിയായ്വന്നിരുന്നില്ല.

5. which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed to His holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit;

6. അതോ ജാതികള് സുവിശേഷത്താല് ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവില് കൂട്ടവകാശികളും ഏകശരീരസ്ഥരും വാഗ്ദത്തത്തില് പങ്കാളികളും ആകേണം എന്നുള്ളതു തന്നേ.

6. [to be specific], that the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel,

7. ആ സുവിശേഷത്തിന്നു ഞാന് അവന്റെ ശക്തിയുടെ വ്യാപാരപ്രകാരം എനിക്കു ലഭിച്ച ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കൃപാദാനത്താല് ശുശ്രൂഷക്കാരനായിത്തീര്ന്നു.

7. of which I was made a minister, according to the gift of God's grace which was given to me according to the working of His power.

8. സകല വിശുദ്ധന്മാരിലും ഏറ്റവും ചെറിയവനായ എനിക്കു ജാതികളോടു ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ അപ്രമേയധനത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു

8. To me, the very least of all saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Christ,

9. പ്രസംഗിപ്പാനും സകലവും സൃഷ്ടിച്ച ദൈവത്തില് അനാദികാലം മുതല് മറഞ്ഞുകിടന്ന മര്മ്മത്തിന്റെ വ്യവസ്ഥ ഇന്നതെന്നു എല്ലാവര്ക്കും പ്രകാശിപ്പിപ്പാനുമായി ഈ കൃപ നല്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

9. and to bring to light what is the administration of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God who created all things;

10. അങ്ങനെ ഇപ്പോള് സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില് വാഴ്ചകള്ക്കും അധികാരങ്ങള്ക്കും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ബഹുവിധമായ ജ്ഞാനം,

10. so that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly [places].

11. അവന് നമ്മുടെ കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവില് നിവര്ത്തിച്ച അനാദിനിര്ണ്ണയ പ്രകാരം സഭമുഖാന്തരം അറിയായ്വരുന്നു.

11. [This was] in accordance with the eternal purpose which He carried out in Christ Jesus our Lord,

12. അവനില് ആശ്രയിച്ചിട്ടു അവങ്കലുള്ള വിശ്വാസത്താല് നമുക്കു ധൈര്യവും പ്രവേശനവും ഉണ്ടു.

12. in whom we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him.

13. അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കുവേണ്ടി സഹിക്കുന്ന കഷ്ടങ്ങള് നിങ്ങളുടെ മഹത്വമാകയാല് അവനിമിത്തം അധൈര്യപ്പെട്ടുപോകരുതു എന്നു ഞാന് അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.

13. Therefore I ask you not to lose heart at my tribulations on your behalf, for they are your glory.

14. അതുനിമിത്തം ഞാന് സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തിലും ഭൂമിയിലുമുള്ള സകല കുടുംബത്തിന്നും

14. For this reason I bow my knees before the Father,

15. പേര് വരുവാന് കാരണമായ പിതാവിന്റെ സന്നിധിയില് മുട്ടുകുത്തുന്നു.

15. from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name,

16. അവന് തന്റെ മഹത്വത്തിന്റെ ധനത്തിന്നു ഒത്തവണ്ണം അവന്റെ ആത്മാവിനാല് നിങ്ങള് അകത്തെ മനുഷ്യനെ സംബന്ധിച്ചു ശക്തിയോടെ ബലപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നും

16. that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man,

17. ക്രിസ്തു വിശ്വാസത്താല് നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളില് വസിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും വരം നല്കേണം എന്നും നിങ്ങള് സ്നേഹത്തില് വേരൂന്നി അടിസ്ഥാനപ്പെട്ടവരായി

17. so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; [and] that you, being rooted and grounded in love,

18. വീതിയും നീളവും ഉയരവും ആഴവും എന്തു എന്നു സകല വിശുദ്ധന്മാരോടുംകൂടെ ഗ്രഹിപ്പാനും

18. may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth,

19. പരിജ്ഞാനത്തെ കവിയുന്ന ക്രിസ്തുവിന് സ്നേഹത്തെ അറിവാനും പ്രാപ്തരാകയും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ എല്ലാ നിറവിനോളം നിറഞ്ഞുവരികയും വേണം എന്നും പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കുന്നു.

19. and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.

20. എന്നാല് നാം ചോദിക്കുന്നതിലും നിനെക്കുന്നതിലും അത്യന്തം പരമായി ചെയ്വാന് നമ്മില് വ്യാപരിക്കുന്ന ശക്തിയാല് കഴിയുന്നവന്നു

20. Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us,

21. സഭയിലും ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിലും എന്നേക്കും തലമുറതലമുറയായും മഹത്വം ഉണ്ടാകട്ടെ ആമേന് .

21. to Him [be] the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.
