1. And this [is] the blessing, with which Moses the man of God blessed the sons of Israel before his death.

2. And he said, The LORD came from Sinai and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from Mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of holiness, at his right hand the law of fire for them.

3. Yea, he loved the peoples; all his saints [are] in thy hand; they also united at thy feet; they received thy words.

4. Moses commanded us law as inheritance unto the congregation of Jacob.

5. ജനത്തിന്റെ തലവന്മാരും യിസ്രായേല്ഗോത്രങ്ങളും കൂടിയപ്പോള് അവന് യെശൂരുന്നു രാജാവായിരുന്നു.

5. And he was king in Jeshurun when the heads of the people, the tribes of Israel, were gathered together as one.

6. രൂബേന് മരിക്കാതെ ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കട്ടെ; അവന്റെ പുരുഷന്മാര് കുറയാതിരിക്കട്ടെ

6. Let Reuben live and not die, and let [not] his men be few.

7. And this [blessing is] for Judah, and he said, Hear, LORD, the voice of Judah, and bring him unto his people; let his hands be sufficient for him, and be thou a help [to him] from his enemies.

8. ലേവിയെക്കുറിച്ചു അവന് പറഞ്ഞതുനിന്റെ തുമ്മീമും ഊറീമും നിന് ഭക്തന്റെ പക്കല് ഇരിക്കുന്നു; നീ മസ്സയില്വെച്ചു പരീക്ഷിക്കയും കലഹജലത്തിങ്കല് നീ പൊരുകയും ചെയ്തവന്റെ പക്കല് തന്നേ.

8. And to Levi he said, [Let] thy Thummim and thy Urim be with thy holy one, whom thou didst prove at Massah [and with] whom thou didst strive at the waters of Meribah,

9. who said unto his father and to his mother, I have not seen them; neither did he acknowledge his brethren nor know his own children; therefore, they shall keep thy word and guard thy covenant.

10. അവര് യാക്കോബിന്നു നിന്റെ വിധികളും യിസ്രായേലിന്നു ന്യായപ്രമാണവും ഉപദേശിക്കും; അവര് നിന്റെ സന്നിധിയില് സുഗന്ധ ധൂപവും യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല് സര്വ്വാംഗഹോമവും അര്പ്പിക്കും.

10. They shall teach Jacob thy judgments and Israel thy law; they shall put incense before thy nostrils and a perfect [sacrifice] upon thine altar.

11. യഹോവ, അവന്റെ ധനത്തെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കേണമേ; അവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിയില് പ്രസാദിക്കേണമേ. അവന്റെ എതിരികളും അവനെ ദ്വേഷിക്കുന്നവരും എഴുന്നേല്ക്കാതവണ്ണം അവരുടെ അരകളെ തകര്ത്തുകളയേണമേ.

11. Bless, O LORD, his ministry, and take pleasure in the work of his hands; smite through the loins of those that rise up against him and of those that hate him that they may never rise again.

12. ബെന്യാമിനെക്കുറിച്ചു അവന് പറഞ്ഞതുഅവന് യഹോവേക്കു പ്രിയന് ; തത്സന്നിധിയില് നിര്ഭയം വസിക്കും; താന് അവനെ എല്ലായ്പോഴും മറെച്ചുകൊള്ളുന്നു; അവന്റെ ഗിരികളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ അധിവസിക്കുന്നു.

12. And to Benjamin he said, The beloved of the LORD shall dwell in safety by him; [and the LORD] shall cover him all the day long, and he shall dwell between his shoulders.

13. And to Joseph he said, Blessed of the LORD [is] his land, for the gifts of the heavens, for the dew, and for the deep that is stretched out beneath,

14. സൂര്യനാല് ഉളവാകുന്ന വിശേഷഫലം കൊണ്ടും പ്രതിമാസികചന്ദ്രനാല് ഉളവാകും വിശിഷ്ടഫലംകൊണ്ടും

14. and for the gifts of the fruits of the sun and for the gifts of the influence of the moon,

15. പുരാതനപര്വ്വതങ്ങളുടെ ശ്രേഷ്ഠസാധനങ്ങള് കൊണ്ടും ശാശ്വതശൈലങ്ങളുടെ വിശിഷ്ടവസ്തുക്കള് കൊണ്ടും ഭൂമിയിലെ വിശേഷവസ്തുക്കളും സമൃദ്ധിയുംകൊണ്ടും അവന്റെ ദേശം യഹോവയാല് അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെടുമാറാകട്ടെ.

15. and for the summit of the ancient mountains and for the gifts of the everlasting hills,

16. മുള്പ്പടര്പ്പില് വസിച്ചവന്റെ പ്രസാദം യോസേഫിന്റെ ശിരസ്സിന്മേലും തന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരില് പ്രഭുവായവന്റെ നെറുകമേലും വരുമാറാകട്ടെ.

16. and for the gifts of the earth and fullness thereof, and may the grace of him that dwelt in the bush come upon the head of Joseph and upon the top of the head of him [that was] separated from his brethren.

17. അവന്റെ കടിഞ്ഞൂല്കൂറ്റന് അവന്റെ പ്രതാപം; അവന്റെ കൊമ്പുകള് കാട്ടുപോത്തിന്റെ കൊമ്പുകള്; അവയാല് അവന് സകലജാതികളെയും ഭൂസീമാവാസികളെയും വെട്ടി ഔടിക്കും; അവ എഫ്രയീമിന്റെ പതിനായിരങ്ങളും മനശ്ശെയുടെ ആയിരങ്ങളും തന്നേ.

17. His beauty [is like] the firstborn of his bullock, and his horns [are like] the horns of unicorns; with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth; these [are] the ten thousands of Ephraim, and these [are] the thousands of Manasseh.

18. സെബൂലൂനെക്കുറിച്ചു അവന് പറഞ്ഞതുസെബൂലൂനേ, നിന്റെ പ്രയാണത്തിലും, യിസ്സാഖാരേ, നിന്റെ കൂടാരങ്ങളിലും സന്തോഷിക്ക.

18. And to Zebulun he said, Rejoice, Zebulun, in thy going out; and thou, Issachar, in thy tents.

19. അവര് ജാതികളെ പര്വ്വതത്തിലേക്കു വിളിക്കും; അവിടെ നീതിയാഗങ്ങളെ കഴിക്കും. അവര് സമുദ്രങ്ങളുടെ സമൃദ്ധിയും മണലിലെ നിക്ഷേപങ്ങളും വലിച്ചു കുടിക്കും.

19. They shall call the people unto the mountain; there they shall offer sacrifices of righteousness; therefore they shall suck the abundance of the seas and hidden treasures of the sand.

20. ഗാദിനെക്കുറിച്ചു അവന് പറഞ്ഞതുഗാദിനെ വിസ്താരമാക്കുന്നവന് അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടവന് . ഒരു സിംഹിപോലെ അവന് പതുങ്ങിക്കിടന്നു ഭുജവും നെറുകയും പറിച്ചുകീറുന്നു.

20. And to Gad he said, Blessed [is] he that caused Gad to be enlarged; he shall dwell as a lion and shall tear the arm with the crown of the head.

21. അവന് ആദ്യഭാഗം തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു; അവിടെ നായകന്റെ ഔഹരി സംഗ്രഹിച്ചു വെച്ചിരുന്നു; അവന് ജനത്തിന്റെ തലവന്മാരോടുകൂടെ യഹോവയുടെ നീതിയും യിസ്രായേലുമായി അവന്റെ വിധികളും നടത്തി.

21. And he saw the best for himself because there the portion of the lawgiver was enclosed; and he came at the head of the people; he shall execute the righteousness of the LORD and his judgments with Israel.

22. ദാനെക്കുറിച്ചു അവന് പറഞ്ഞതുദാന് ബാലസിംഹം ആകുന്നു; അവന് ബാശാനില്നിന്നു ചാടുന്നു.

22. And to Dan he said, Dan is a lion's whelp; he shall leap from Bashan.

23. നഫ്താലിയെക്കുറിച്ചു അവന് പറഞ്ഞതുനഫ്താലിയേ, പ്രസാദംകൊണ്ടു തൃപ്തനും യഹോവയുടെ അനുഗ്രഹം നിറഞ്ഞവനുമായി പടിഞ്ഞാറും തെക്കും കൈവശമാക്കുക.

23. And to Naphtali he said, Naphtali, filled with grace and full of the blessing of the LORD, shall inherit the west and the Negev.

24. ആശേരിനെക്കുറിച്ചു അവന് പറഞ്ഞതുആശേര് പുത്രസമ്പത്തുകൊണ്ടു അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടവന് ; അവന് സഹോദരന്മാര്ക്കും ഇഷ്ടനായിരിക്കട്ടെ; അവന് കാല് എണ്ണയില് മുക്കട്ടെ.

24. And to Asher he said, Asher, more blessed than the sons, shall be acceptable unto his brethren and shall dip his foot in oil.

25. നിന്റെ ഔടാമ്പല് ഇരിമ്പും താമ്രവും ആയിരിക്കട്ടെ. നിന്റെ ബലം ജീവപര്യന്തം നില്ക്കട്ടെ.

25. Thy locks [shall be] iron and brass; and as thy days, [so shall] thy strength [be].

26. യെശൂരൂന്റെ ദൈവത്തെപ്പോലെ ഒരുത്തനുമില്ല; നിന്റെ സഹായത്തിന്നായി അവന് ആകാശത്തുടെ തന്റെ മഹിമയില് മേഘാരൂഢനായി വരുന്നു.

26. [There is] no [other] like unto the God of Jeshurun, [who] rides upon the heavens for thy help, in the clouds with his excellency.

27. പുരാതനനായ ദൈവം നിന്റെ സങ്കേതം; കീഴെ ശാശ്വതഭുജങ്ങള് ഉണ്ടു; അവന് ശത്രുവിനെ നിന്റെ മുമ്പില്നിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു. സംഹരിക്ക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

27. The habitation of God is eternal, and underneath the everlasting arms; he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee and shall say, Destroy [them].

28. ധാന്യവും വീഞ്ഞുമുള്ള ദേശത്തു യിസ്രായേല് നിര്ഭയമായും യാക്കോബിന് ഉറവു തനിച്ചും വസിക്കുന്നു; ആകാശം അവന്നു മഞ്ഞു പൊഴിക്കുന്നു.

28. Then Israel, the fountain of Jacob, shall dwell in safety alone in a land of grain and wine; also his heavens shall drop down dew.

29. യിസ്രായേലേ, നീ ഭാഗ്യവാന് ; നിനക്കു തുല്യന് ആര്? യഹോവയാല് രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ട ജനമേ, അവന് നിന്റെ സഹായത്തിന് പരിചയും നിന്റെ മഹിമയുടെ വാളും ആകുന്നു. നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കള് നിന്നോടു അനുസരണം നടിക്കും. നീ അവരുടെ ഉന്നതങ്ങളിന്മേല് നടകൊള്ളും.

29. Blessed [art] thou, O Israel, who [is] like unto thee, O people saved by the LORD, the shield of thy help and the sword of thy excellency? Thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee, and thou shalt tread upon their high places.:
