1. ഇങ്ങനെ അവര് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പെട്ടകം കൊണ്ടുവന്നു ദാവീദ് അതിന്നായിട്ടു അടിച്ചിരുന്ന കൂടാരത്തിന്നകത്തു വെച്ചു; പിന്നെ അവര് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സന്നിധിയില് ഹോമയാഗങ്ങളും സമാധാനയാഗങ്ങളും കഴിച്ചു.

1. Therfor thei brouyten the arke of God, and settiden it in the myddis of the tabernacle, that Dauid hadde araied therto; and thei offriden brent sacrifices and pesible sacrifices bifor the Lord.

2. ദാവീദ് ഹോമയാഗവും സമാധാനയാഗങ്ങളും കഴിച്ചുതീര്ന്നശേഷം ജനത്തെ യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തില് അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചു.

2. And whanne Dauid offrynge brent sacrifices and pesible sacrifices hadde fillid, he blesside the puple in the name of the Lord;

3. അവന് യിസ്രായേലില് ഔരോ പുരുഷന്നും സ്ത്രീക്കും ആളൊന്നിന്നു ഒരു അപ്പവും ഒരു ഖണ്ഡം ഇറച്ചിയും ഒരു മുന്തിരിങ്ങാക്കട്ടവീതം വിഭാഗിച്ചുകൊടുത്തു.

3. and departide to alle to ech bi hym silf fro a man til to a womman o cake of breed, and a part of rostid fleisch of a bugle, and flour fried in oile.

4. അവന് യഹോവയുടെ പെട്ടകത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പില് യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേക്കു കീര്ത്തനവും വന്ദനവും സ്തോത്രവും ചെയ്വാന് ലേവ്യരില്നിന്നു ശുശ്രൂഷകന്മാരെ നിയമിച്ചു.

4. And he ordeynede bifor the arke of the Lord, of the Leuytis, that schulden mynystre, and haue mynde of the werkis of the Lord, and glorifie and preyse the Lord God of Israel;

5. ആസാഫ് തലവന് ; രണ്ടാമന് സെഖര്യ്യാവു; പിന്നെ യെയീയേല്, ശെമീരാമോത്ത്, യെഹീയേല്, മത്ഥിഥ്യാവു, എലീയാബ്, ബെനായാവു, ഔബേദ്-എദോം, യെയീയേല് എന്നിവര് വീണയും കിന്നരവും വായിച്ചു; ആസാഫ് കൈത്താളം കൊട്ടി.

5. `he ordeynede Asaph the prince, and Zacharie his secounde; forsothe `he ordeynede Jahiel, and Semiramoth, and Jahel, and Mathathie, and Eliab, and Banaye, and Obededom, and Jehiel, on the orguns, on the sautrie, and on the harpis; but he ordeynede Asaph to sowne with cymbalis;

6. പുരോഹിതന്മാരായ ബെനായാവും യെഹസീയേലും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നിയമപെട്ടകത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പില് നിരന്തരം കാഹളം ഊതി.

7. അന്നു, ആ ദിവസം തന്നേ, ദാവീദ് ആസാഫും അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരും മുഖാന്തരം യഹോവേക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു ആദ്യം നിയമിച്ചതെന്തെന്നാല്

7. In that dai Dauid made Asaph prince, and hise britheren, for to knowleche `to the Lord.

8. യഹോവേക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്തു; അവന്റെ നാമത്തെ ആരാധിപ്പിന് ; ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില് അവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ അറിയിപ്പിന് ;

8. Knowleche ye to the Lord, and inwardli clepe ye his name; make ye hise fyndyngis knowun among puplis.

9. അവന്നു പാടി കീര്ത്തനം ചെയ്വിന് ; അവന്റെ അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെ ഒക്കെയും വര്ണ്ണിപ്പിന് .

9. Synge ye to hym, and seie ye salm to hym, and telle ye alle his merueylis.

10. അവന്റെ വിശുദ്ധനാമത്തില് പുകഴുവിന് ; യഹോവയെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവരുടെ ഹൃദയം സന്തോഷിക്കട്ടെ.

10. Preise ye his hooli name; the herte of men sekynge the Lord be glad.

11. യഹോവയെയും അവന്റെ ശക്തിയെയും തേടുവിന് ; അവന്റെ മുഖം നിരന്തരം അന്വേഷിപ്പിന് .

11. Seke ye the Lord and his vertu; seke ye euere his face.

12. അവന്റെ ദാസനായ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ സന്താനമേ, അവന്റെ വൃതന്മാരായ യാക്കോബ് പുത്രന്മാരേ,

12. Haue ye mynde of hise merueilis whiche he dide; of hise signes, and of the domes of his mouth.

13. അവന് ചെയ്ത അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത അടയാളങ്ങളും വിധികളും ഔര്ത്തുകൊള്വിന് .

13. The seed of Israel, his seruaunt, preise thou God; the sones of Jacob, his chosun, preise ye God.

14. അവനല്ലോ നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ; അവന്റെ ന്യായവിധികള് സര്വ്വഭൂമിയിലുമുണ്ടു.

14. He is `oure Lord God; hise domes ben in ech lond.

15. അവന്റെ വചനം ആയിരം തലമുറയോളവും അവന്റെ നിയമം എന്നേക്കും ഔര്ത്തുകൊള്വിന് .

15. Haue ye mynde with outen ende of his couenaunt; of the word whiche he couenauntide `in to a thousynde generaciouns.

16. അബ്രാഹാമോടു അവന് ചെയ്ത നിയമവും യിസ്ഹാക്കിനോടു ചെയ്ത സത്യവും തന്നേ.

16. Which word he couenauntide with Abraham; and of his ooth to Ysaac.

17. അതിനെ അവന് യാക്കോബിന്നു ഒരു പ്രമാണമായും യിസ്രായേലിന്നൊരു ശാശ്വതനിയമമായും ഉറപ്പിച്ചു.

17. And he ordeynede that to Jacob in to a comaundement; and to Israel in to euerlastynge couenaunt.

18. ഞാന് നിനക്കു അവകാശമായി കനാന് ദേശത്തെ തരും എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

18. And seide, To thee Y schal yyue the lond of Canaan; the part of youre erytage.

19. നിങ്ങള് എണ്ണം കുറഞ്ഞു ചുരുക്കംപേരും അവിടെ പരദേശികളും ആയിരിക്കുമ്പോഴും

19. Whanne thei weren fewe in noumbre; litle, and pilgrims therof.

20. അവര് ഒരു ജാതിയെ വിട്ടു മറ്റൊരു ജാതിയിലേക്കും ഒരു രാജ്യം വിട്ടു മറ്റൊരു വംശത്തിലേക്കും പോകുമ്പോഴും

20. And thei passiden fro folk in to the folk; and fro a rewme to another puple.

21. ആരും അവരെ പീഡിപ്പിപ്പാന് അവന് സമ്മതിച്ചില്ല; അവര്നിമിത്തം രാജാക്കന്മാരെയും ശാസിച്ചതു

21. He suffride not ony man falseli chalenge hem; but he blamyde kyngis for hem.

22. എന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തന്മാരെ തൊടരുതു; എന്റെ പ്രവാചകര്ക്കും ദോഷം ചെയ്കയുമരുതു.

22. Nyle ye touche my cristis; and nyle ye do wickidli ayens my prophetis.

23. സര്വ്വഭൂവാസികളേ, യഹോവേക്കു പാടുവിന് ; നാള്ക്കുനാള് അവന്റെ രക്ഷയെ പ്രസ്താവിപ്പിന് .

23. Al erthe, singe ye to the Lord; telle ye fro dai into dai his helthe.

24. ജാതികളുടെ നടുവില് അവന്റെ മഹത്വവും സര്വ്വവംശങ്ങളുടെയും മദ്ധ്യേ അവന്റെ അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും കഥിപ്പിന് .

24. Telle ye among hethen men his glorie; hise merueylis among alle puplis.

25. യഹോവ വലിയവനും അത്യന്തം സ്തുത്യനും സര്വ്വദേവന്മാരിലും അതിഭയങ്കരനുമല്ലോ.

25. For the Lord is greet, and worthi to be preisid ful myche; and he is orible, `ethir griseful, ouer alle goddis.

26. ജാതികളുടെ സകലദേവന്മാരും വിഗ്രഹങ്ങള് അത്രേ; യഹോവയോ ആകാശത്തെ ചമെച്ചവന് .

26. For alle the goddis of puplis ben idols; but the Lord made heuenes.

27. യശസ്സും തേജസ്സും അവന്റെ സന്നിധിയിലും ബലവും ആനന്ദവും അവന്റെ വാസസ്ഥലത്തിലും ഉണ്ടു.

27. Knoulechyng and greet doyng ben bifor hym; strengthe and ioy ben in the place of hym.

28. ജാതികളുടെ കുലങ്ങളേ, യഹോവേക്കു കൊടുപ്പിന് ;

28. Ye meynees of puplis, `bringe ye to the Lord; brynge ye to the Lord glorie and empire.

29. യഹോവേക്കു അവന്റെ നാമത്തിന്റെ മഹത്വം കൊടുപ്പിന് ; കാഴ്ചയുമായി അവന്റെ സന്നിധിയില് ചെല്ലുവിന് ; വിശുദ്ധഭൂഷണം ധരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവയെ നമസ്കരിപ്പിന് .

29. Yyue ye glorie to his name, reise ye sacrifice, and come ye in his siyt; and worschipe ye the Lord in hooli fairnesse.

30. സര്വ്വഭൂമിയേ, അവന്റെ സന്നിധിയില് നടുങ്ങുക; ഭൂതലം കുലങ്ങാതവണ്ണം സ്ഥാപിതമാകുന്നു.

30. Al erthe be mouyd fro his face; for he foundide the world vnmouable.

31. സ്വര്ഗ്ഗം ആനന്ദിക്കട്ടെ; ഭൂമി ഉല്ലസിക്കട്ടെ; യഹോവ വാഴുന്നു എന്നു ജാതികളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ ഘോഷിക്കട്ടെ.

31. Heuenes be glad, and the erthe `ioy fulli; and seie thei among naciouns, The Lord schal regne.

32. സമുദ്രവും അതിന്റെ പൂര്ണ്ണതയും മുഴങ്ങട്ടെ. വയലും അതിലുള്ളതൊക്കെയും ആഹ്ളാദിക്കട്ടെ.

32. The see thundre, and his fulnesse; the feeldis fulli ioye, and alle thingis that ben in tho.

33. അന്നു വനത്തിലെ വൃക്ഷങ്ങള് യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പില് ആര്ക്കും; അവന് ഭൂമിയെ വിധിപ്പാന് വരുന്നുവല്ലോ.

33. Thanne the trees of the forest schulen preyse bifor the Lord; for he cometh to deme the erthe.

34. യഹോവേക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്വിന് ; അവന് നല്ലവനല്ലോ; അവന്റെ ദയ എന്നേക്കുമുള്ളതു.

34. Knouleche ye to the Lord, for he is good; for his mersi is withouten ende.

35. ഞങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷയായ ദൈവമേ, ഞങ്ങളെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ; തിരുനാമത്തെ വാഴ്ത്തി നിന്റെ സ്തുതിയില് പുകഴുവാന് ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില്നിന്നു വിടുവിച്ചു ശേഖരിക്കേണമേ എന്നു പറവിന് .

36. യിസ്രായേലിന് ദൈവമായ യഹോവ എന്നും എന്നേക്കും വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെട്ടവന് . സകലജനവും ആമേന് എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിച്ചു.

36. Blessid be the Lord God of Israel fro with oute bigynnyng and til `in to with outen ende; and al the puple seie, Amen, and seie heriyng to God.

37. ഇങ്ങനെ പെട്ടകത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പില് ദിവസംപ്രതിയുള്ള വേലയുടെ ആവശ്യംപോലെ നിത്യം ശുശ്രൂഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ആസാഫിനെയും അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരെയും

37. Therfor Dauid lefte there, bifor the arke of boond of pees of the Lord, Asaph and hise britheren, for to mynystre in the siyt of the arke contynueli bi alle daies and her whilis.

38. ഒബേദ്-എദോമിനെയും അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരായ അറുപത്തെട്ടുപേരെയും യഹോവയുടെ പെട്ടകത്തിന്മുമ്പിലും യെദൂഥൂന്റെ മകനായ ഔബേദ്-എദോമിനെയും ഹോസയെയും വാതില്കാവല്ക്കാരായും നിര്ത്തി.

38. Forsothe he ordeynede porteris, Obededom and hise britheren, eiyte and sixti, and Obededom, the sone of Idithum, and Oza.

39. പുരോഹിതനായ സാദോക്കിനെയും അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരായ പുരോഹിതന്മാരെയും ഗിബെയോനിലെ പൂജാഗിരിയില് യഹോവയുടെ തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്മുമ്പില് യഹോവ യിസ്രായേലിനോടു കല്പിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള

39. Sotheli `he ordeynede Sadoch preest, and hise britheren, preestis bifor the tabernacle of the Lord, in the hiy place that was in Gabaon,

40. അവന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തില് എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്ന പ്രകാരമൊക്കെയും രാവിലെയും വൈകുന്നേരവും നിത്യം ഹോമപീഠത്തിന്മേല് യഹോവേക്കു

40. for to offre brent sacrifices to the Lord on the auter of brent sacrifice contynueli, in the morwetid and euentid, bi alle thingis that ben writun in the lawe of the Lord, which he comaundide to Israel.

41. ഹോമയാഗം കഴിപ്പാനും അവരോടുകൂടെ ഹേമാന് , യെദൂഥൂന് മുതലായി പേര്വിവരം പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന ശ്രേഷ്ഠന്മാരെയും അവന്റെ ദയ എന്നേക്കുമുള്ളതു എന്നിങ്ങനെ യഹോവേക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്വാനും നിയമിച്ചു.

41. And aftir hym Dauyd ordeynede Eman, and Idithum, and other chosene, ech man bi his name, for to knowleche to the Lord; for his mercy is withouten ende.

42. അവരോടുകൂടെ ഹേമാനെയും യെദൂഥൂനെയും കാഹളം, കൈത്താളം എന്നിങ്ങനെ ദിവ്യസംഗീതത്തിന്നായുള്ള വാദ്യങ്ങളെ ധ്വനിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിയമിച്ചു; യെദൂഥൂന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര് വാതില്കാവല്ക്കാര് ആയിരുന്നു;

42. Also he ordeynede Eman, and Idithum, trumpynge, and schakynge cymbalis, and alle orguns of musikis, for to synge to God; forsothe he made the sones of Idithum to be portours, `ether bereris.

43. പിന്നെ സര്വ്വജനവും ഔരോരുത്തന് താന്താന്റെ വീട്ടിലേക്കു പോയി; ദാവീദും തന്റെ കുടുംബത്തെ അനുഗ്രഹിപ്പാന് മടങ്ങിപ്പോയി.

43. And al the puple turnede ayen in to her hows, and Dauid turnede ayen, to blesse also his hows.
