1. Now these are the divisions of the sons of Aaron. The sons of Aaron: Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

2. നാദാബും അബീഹൂവും അവരുടെ അപ്പന്നു മുമ്പെ മരിച്ചുപോയി; അവര്ക്കും പുത്രന്മാര് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നതുമില്ല; അതുകൊണ്ടു എലെയാസാരും ഈഥാമാരും പൌരോഹിത്യം നടത്തി.

2. But Nadab and Abihu died before their father and had no children; therefore Eleazar and Ithamar executed the priest's office.

3. ദാവീദ് എലെയാസാരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരില് സാദോക്, ഈഥാമാരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരില് അഹീമേലെക്ക്, എന്നിവരുമായി അവരെ അവരുടെ ശുശ്രൂഷയുടെ മുറപ്രകാരം വിഭാഗിച്ചു.

3. And David assigned them, both Zadok of the sons of Eleazar and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, according to their offices in their service.

4. ഈഥാമാരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരിലുള്ളതിനെക്കാള് എലെയാസാരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരില് അധികം തലവന്മാരെ കണ്ടതുകൊണ്ടു എലെയാസാരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരില് പതിനാറു പിതൃഭവനത്തലവന്മാരും ഈഥാമാരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരില് എട്ടു പിതൃഭവനത്തലവന്മാരുമായി വിഭാഗിച്ചു.

4. And there were more chief men found of the sons of Eleazar than of the sons of Ithamar, and thus were they divided. Among the sons of Eleazar there were sixteen chief men of the house of their fathers, and eight among the sons of Ithamar according to the house of their fathers.

5. എലെയാസാരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരിലും ഈഥാമാരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരിലും വിശുദ്ധസ്ഥലത്തിന്റെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും ദൈവാലയത്തിന്റെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും ഉള്ളതുകൊണ്ടു അവരെ തരഭേദം കൂടാതെ ചീട്ടിട്ടു വിഭാഗിച്ചു.

5. Thus were they divided by lot, one sort with another, for the governors of the sanctuary and governors of the house of God were of the sons of Eleazar and of the sons of Ithamar.

6. ലേവ്യരില് നെഥനയേലിന്റെ മകനായ ശെമയ്യാശാസ്ത്രി രാജാവിന്നും പ്രഭുക്കന്മാര്ക്കും പുരോഹിതനായ സാദോക്കിന്നും അബ്യാഥാരിന്റെ മകനായ അഹീമേലെക്കിന്നും പുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെയും ലേവ്യരുടെയും പിതൃഭവനത്തലവന്മാര്ക്കും മുമ്പാകെ ഒരു പിതൃഭവനം എലെയാസാരിന്നും മറ്റൊന്നു ഈഥാമാരിന്നുമായി ചീട്ടുവന്നതു എഴുതിവെച്ചു.

6. And Shemaiah the son of Nethaneel the scribe, one of the Levites, wrote them in the presence of the king and the princes, and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and before the chief of the fathers of the priests and Levites: one principal household being taken for Eleazar and one taken for Ithamar.

7. Now the first lot came forth to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah,

8. മൂന്നാമത്തേതു ഹാരീമിന്നും നാലാമത്തേതു ശെയോരീമിന്നും

8. the third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,

9. അഞ്ചാമത്തേതു മല്ക്കീയാവിന്നും ആറാമത്തേതു മീയാമിന്നും

9. the fifth to Malchijah, the sixth to Mijamin,

10. the seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah,

13. the thirteenth to Huppah, the fourteenth to Jeshebeab,

14. the fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer,

15. പതിനേഴാമത്തേതു ഹേസീരിന്നും പതിനെട്ടാമത്തേതു ഹപ്പിസ്സേസിന്നും

15. the seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Happizzez,

16. പത്തൊമ്പതാമത്തേതു പെതഹ്യാവിന്നും ഇരുപതാമത്തേതു യെഹെസ്കേലിന്നും

16. the nineteenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Jehezekel,

17. ഇരുപത്തൊന്നാമത്തേതു യാഖീന്നും ഇരുപത്തിരണ്ടാമത്തേതു ഗാമൂലിന്നും

17. the one and twentieth to Jachin, the two and twentieth to Gamul,

18. ഇരുപത്തിമൂന്നാമത്തേതു ദെലായാവിന്നും ഇരുപത്തിനാലാമത്തേതു മയസ്യാവിന്നും വന്നു.

18. the three and twentieth to Delaiah, the four and twentieth to Maaziah.

19. യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ അവരുടെ പിതാവായ അഹരോനോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ അവന് അവര്ക്കും കൊടുത്ത നിയമപ്രകാരം അവരുടെ ശുശ്രൂഷെക്കായിട്ടു യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലേക്കു അവര് വരേണ്ടുന്ന ക്രമം ഇതു ആയിരുന്നു.

19. These were the orderings of them in their service to come into the house of the LORD, according to their manner under Aaron their father, as the LORD God of Israel had commanded him.

20. And the rest of the sons of Levi were these: of the sons of Amram, Shubael; of the sons of Shubael, Jehdeiah.

21. രെഹബ്യാവോരെഹബ്യാവിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരില് തലവന് യിശ്യാവു.

21. Concerning Rehabiah, of the sons of Rehabiah, the first was Isshiah.

22. യിസ്ഹാര്യ്യരില് ശെലോമോത്ത്; ശലോമോത്തിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരില് യഹത്ത്.

22. Of the Izharites, Shelomoth; of the sons of Shelomoth, Jahath.

23. ഹെബ്രോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്യെരിയാവു തലവന് ; അമര്യ്യാവു രണ്ടാമന് ; യഹസീയേല് മൂന്നാമന് ; യെക്കമെയാം നാലാമന് .

23. And the sons of Hebron, Jeriah the first, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth.

24. ഉസ്സീയേലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്മീഖ; മീഖയുടെ പുത്രന്മാര്

24. Of the sons of Uzziel, Michah; of the sons of Michah, Shamir.

25. ശാമീര്, മീഖയുടെ സഹോദരന് യിശ്ശ്യാവുയിശ്ശ്യാവിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരില് സെഖര്യ്യാവു.

25. The brother of Michah was Isshiah; of the sons of Isshiah, Zechariah.

26. മെരാരിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാര്മഹ്ളി, മൂശി, യയസ്യാവിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്ബെനോ.

26. The sons of Merari were Mahli and Mushi: the son of Jaaziah, Beno.

27. മെരാരിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാര്യയസ്യാവില്നിന്നുത്ഭവിച്ച ബെനോ, ശോഹം, സക്കൂര്, ഇബ്രി.

27. The sons of Merari by Jaaziah: Beno, and Shoham, and Zaccur, and Ibri.

28. Of Mahli came Eleazar, who had no sons.

29. Concerning Kish: the son of Kish was Jerahmeel.

30. മൂശിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാര്മഹ്ളി, ഏദെര്, യെരീമോത്ത്; ഇവര് പിതൃഭവനം പിതൃഭവനമായി ലേവിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാര്.

30. The sons also of Mushi; Mahli, and Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites after the house of their fathers.

31. അവരും അഹരോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരായ തങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരെപ്പോലെ തന്നേ ദാവീദ് രാജാവിന്നും സാദോക്കിന്നും അഹീമേലെക്കിന്നും പുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെയും ലേവ്യരുടെയും പിതൃഭവനത്തലവന്മാര്ക്കും മുമ്പാകെ അതതു പിതൃഭവനത്തില് ഔരോ തലവന് താന്താന്റെ ഇളയസഹോദരനെപ്പോലെ തന്നേ ചീട്ടിട്ടു.

31. These likewise cast lots even as their brethren the sons of Aaron, in the presence of David the king, and Zadok, and Ahimelech, and the chief of the fathers of the priests and Levites; even the principal fathers did as their younger brethren.
