1. ശെയല്തീയേലിന്റെ മകനായ സെരുബ്ബാബേലിനോടും യേശുവയോടുംകൂടെ വന്ന പുരോഹിതന്മാരും ലേവ്യരും ആവിതു

1. And these [are] the priests and the Levites who came up with Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua; Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra,

2. സെരായാവു, യിരെമ്യാവു, എസ്രാ, അമര്യ്യാവു,

2. Amariah, Malluch, Hattush,

3. മല്ലൂക്, ഹത്തൂശ്, ശെഖന്യാവു, രെഹൂം,

3. Shechaniah, Rehum, Meremoth,

4. മെരേമോത്ത്, ഇദ്ദോ, ഗിന്നെഥോയി,

4. Iddo, Ginnethoi, Abijah,

5. അബ്ബീയാവു, മീയാമീന് ; മയദ്യാവു, ബില്ഗാ,

5. Miamin, Maadiah, Bilgah,

6. ശെമയ്യാവു, യോയാരീബ്, യെദായാവു,

6. Shemaiah, and Joiarib, Jedaiah,

7. സല്ലൂ, ആമോക്, ഹില്ക്കീയാവു, യെദായാവു. ഇവര് യേശുവയുടെ കാലത്തു പുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെയും തങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരുടെയും തലവന്മാര് ആയിരുന്നു.

7. Sallu, Amok, Hilkiah, Jedaiah; these [are] heads of the priests and of their brethren in the days of Jeshua.

8. ലേവ്യരോ യേശുവ, ബിന്നൂവി, കദ്മീയേല്, ശേരെബ്യാവു, യെഹൂദാ എന്നിവരും സ്തോത്രഗാനനായകനായ മത്ഥന്യാവും സഹോദരന്മാരും. അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരായ ബക്ക്ബൂക്ക്യാവും ഉന്നോവും അവര്ക്കും സഹകാരികളായി ശുശ്രൂഷിച്ചുനിന്നു.

8. And the Levites [are] Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, Mattaniah, he [is] over the thanksgiving, and his brethren,

9. യേശുവ യോയാക്കീമിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; യോയാക്കീം എല്യാശീബിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; എല്യാശീബ് യോയാദയെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു;

9. and Bakbukiah and Unni, their brethren, [are] over-against them in charges.

10. യോയാദാ യോനാഥാനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; യോനാഥാന് യദ്ദൂവയെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

10. And Jeshua hath begotten Joiakim, and Joiakim hath begotten Eliashib, and Eliashib hath begotten Joiada,

11. യോയാക്കീമിന്റെ കാലത്തു പിതൃഭവനത്തലവന്മാരായിരുന്ന പുരോഹിതന്മാര് സെറായാ കുലത്തിന്നു മെരായ്യാവു; യിരെമ്യാകുലത്തിന്നുഹനന്യാവു;

11. and Joiada hath begotten Jonathan, and Jonathan hath begotten Jaddua.

12. എസ്രാകുലത്തിന്നു മെശുല്ലാം;

12. And in the days of Joiakim have been priests, heads of the fathers; of Seraiah, Meraiah; of Jeremiah, Hananiah;

13. അമര്യ്യാകുലത്തിന്നു യെഹോഹാനാന് ; മല്ലൂക് കുലത്തിന്നു യോനാഥാന് ; ശെബന്യാകുലത്തിന്നു യോസേഫ്;

13. of Ezra, Meshullam; of Amariah, Jehohanan;

14. ഹാരീംകുലത്തിന്നു അദ്നാ; മെരായോത്ത് കുലത്തിന്നു ഹെല്ക്കായി;

14. of Melicu, Jonathan; of Shebaniah, Joseph;

15. ഇദ്ദോകുലത്തിന്നു സെഖര്യ്യാവു; ഗിന്നെഥോന് കുലത്തിന്നു മെശുല്ലാം;

15. of Harim, Adna; of Meraioth, Helkai;

16. അബീയാകുലത്തിന്നു സിക്രി; മിന്യാമീന് കുലത്തിന്നും മോവദ്യാകുലത്തിന്നും പില്തായി;

16. of Iddo, Zechariah; of Ginnethon, Meshullam;

17. ബില്ഗാകുലത്തിന്നു ശമ്മൂവ; ശെമയ്യാകുലത്തിന്നു യെഹോനാഥാന് ;

17. of Abijah, Zichri; of Miniamin; of Moadiah, Piltai;

18. യോയാരീബ് കലത്തിന്നു മഥെനായി; യെദായാകുലത്തിന്നു ഉസ്സി;

18. of Bilgah, Shammua; of Shemaiah, Jehonathan;

19. സല്ലായി കുലത്തിന്നു കല്ലായി; ആമോക് കുലത്തിന്നു ഏബെര്;

19. and of Joiarib, Mattenai; of Jedaiah, Uzzi;

20. ഹില്ക്കീയാകുലത്തിന്നു ഹശബ്യാവു; യെദായാകുലത്തിന്നു നെഥനയേല്.

20. of Sallai, Kallai; of Amok, Eber;

21. എല്യാശീബ്, യോയാദാ, യോഹാനാന് , യദ്ദൂവ എന്നിവരുടെ കാലത്തു ലേവ്യരെയും പാര്സിരാജാവായ ദാര്യ്യാവേശിന്റെ കാലത്തു പുരോഹിതന്മാരെയും പിതൃഭവനത്തലവന്മാരായി എഴുതിവെച്ചു.

21. of Hilkiah, Hashabiah; of Jedaiah, Nethaneel.

22. ലേവ്യരായ പിതൃഭവനത്തലവന്മാര് ഇന്നവരെന്നു എല്യാശീബിന്റെ മകനായ യോഹാനാന്റെ കാലംവരെ ദിനവൃത്താന്തപുസ്തകത്തില് എഴുതിയിരുന്നു.

22. The Levites, in the days of Eliashib, Joiada, and Johanan, and Jaddua, are written, heads of fathers, and of the priests, in the kingdom of Darius the Persian.

23. ലേവ്യരുടെ തലവന്മാര്ഹശബ്യാവു, ശേരെബ്യാവു, കദ്മീയേലിന്റെ മകന് യേശുവ എന്നിവരും അവരുടെ സഹകാരികളായ സഹോദരന്മാരും ദൈവപുരുഷനായ ദാവീദിന്റെ കല്പനപ്രകാരം തരംതരമായി നിന്നു സ്തുതിയും സ്തോത്രവും ചെയ്തുവന്നു.

23. Sons of Levi, heads of the fathers, are written on the book of the Chronicles even till the days of Johanan son of Eliashib;

24. മത്ഥന്യാവും ബ്ക്കുബൂക്ക്യാവു, ഔബദ്യാവു, മെശുല്ലാം, തല്മോന് , അക്കൂബ്, എന്നിവര് വാതിലുകള്ക്കരികെയുള്ള ഭണ്ഡാരഗൃഹങ്ങള് കാക്കുന്ന വാതില്കാവല്ക്കാര് ആയിരുന്നു.

24. and heads of the Levites: Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua son of Kadmiel, and their brethren, [are] over-against them, to give praise, to give thanks, by command of David the man of God, charge over-against charge.

25. ഇവര് യോസാദാക്കിന്റെ മകനായ യേശുവയുടെ മകനായ യോയാക്കീമിന്റെ കാലത്തും ദേശാധിപതിയായ നെഹെമ്യാവിന്റെയും ശാസ്ത്രിയായ എസ്രാപുരോഹിതന്റെയും കാലത്തും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

25. Mattaniah, and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, Akkub, [are] gatekeepers, keeping charge in the gatherings of the gates.

26. യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ മതില് പ്രതിഷ്ഠിച്ച സമയം അവര് സ്തോത്രങ്ങളോടും സംഗീതത്തോടും കൂടെ കൈത്താളങ്ങളും വീണകളും കിന്നരങ്ങളും കൊണ്ടു സന്തോഷപൂര്വ്വം പ്രതിഷ്ഠ ആചരിപ്പാന് ലേവ്യരെ അവരുടെ സര്വ്വവാസസ്ഥലങ്ങളില്നിന്നും യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു അന്വേഷിച്ചു വരുത്തി.

26. These [are] in the days of Joiakim son of Jeshua, son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah the governor, and of Ezra the priest, the scribe.

27. അങ്ങനെ സംഗീതക്കാരുടെ വര്ഗ്ഗം യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള പ്രദേശത്തുനിന്നും നെതോഫാത്യരുടെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളില്നിന്നും

27. And at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites out of all their places, to bring them in to Jerusalem, to make the dedication even with gladness, and with thanksgivings, and with singing, [with] cymbals, psalteries, and with harps;

28. ബേത്ത്-ഗില്ഗാലില്നിന്നും ഗേബയുടെയും അസ്മാവെത്തിന്റെയും നാട്ടുപുറങ്ങളില്നിന്നും വന്നുകൂടി; സംഗീതക്കാര് യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ ചുറ്റും തങ്ങള്ക്കു ഗ്രാമങ്ങള് പണിതിരുന്നു.

28. and sons of the singers are gathered together even from the circuit round about Jerusalem, and from the villages of Netophathi,

29. പുരോഹിതന്മാരും ലേവ്യരും തങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ ശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചിട്ടു ജനത്തെയും വാതിലുകളെയും മതിലിനെയും ശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചു.

29. and from the house of Gilgal, and from fields of Geba and Azmaveth, for villages have the singers built for themselves round about Jerusalem;

30. പിന്നെ ഞാന് യെഹൂദാപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെ മതിലിന്മേല് കൊണ്ടു പോയി; സ്തോത്രഗാനം ചെയ്തുംകൊണ്ടു പ്രദക്ഷിണം ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു രണ്ടു വലിയ കൂട്ടങ്ങളെ നിയമിച്ചു; അവയില് ഒന്നു മതിലിന്മേല് വലത്തുഭാഗത്തുകൂടി കുപ്പവാതില്ക്കലേക്കു പുറപ്പെട്ടു.

30. and the priests and the Levites are cleansed, and they cleanse the people, and the gates, and the wall.

31. അവരുടെ പിന്നാലെ ഹോശയ്യാവും യെഹൂദാപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരില് പാതിപേരും നടന്നു.

31. And I bring up the heads of Judah upon the wall, and appoint two great thanksgiving companies and processions. At the right, on the wall, to the dung-gate;

32. അസര്യ്യാവും എസ്രയും മെശുല്ലാമും

32. and after them goeth Hoshaiah, and half of the heads of Judah,

33. യെഹൂദയും ബെന്യമീനും ശെമയ്യാവും

33. and Azariah, Ezra, and Meshullam,

34. യിരെമ്യാവും കാഹളങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ പുരോഹിതപുത്രന്മാരില് ചിലരും ആസാഫിന്റെ മകനായ സക്കൂരിന്റെ മകനായ മീഖായാവിന്റെ മകനായ മത്ഥന്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ ശെമയ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ യോനാഥാന്റെ മകന് സെഖര്യ്യാവും

34. Judah, and Benjamin, and Shemaiah, and Jeremiah;

35. ദൈവപുരുഷനായ ദാവീദിന്റെ വാദ്യങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരായ ശെമയ്യാവു അസരയേലും മീലലായിയും ഗീലലായിയും മായായിയും നെഥനയേലും യെഹൂദയും ഹനാനിയും നടന്നു; എസ്രാശാസ്ത്രി അവരുടെ മുമ്പില് നടന്നു.

35. and of the sons of the priests with trumpets, Zechariah son of Jonathan, son of Shemaiah, son of Mattaniah, son of Michaiah, son of Zaccur, son of Asaph,

36. അവര് ഉറവുവാതില് കടന്നു നേരെ ദാവീദിന്റെ നഗരത്തിന്റെ പടിക്കെട്ടില്കൂടി ദാവീദിന്റെ അരമനെക്കപ്പുറം മതിലിന്റെ കയറ്റത്തില് കിഴക്കു നീര്വ്വാതില്വരെ ചെന്നു.

36. and his brethren Shemaiah, and Azarael, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethaneel, and Judah, Hanani, with instruments of song of David the man of God, and Ezra the scribe [is] before them;

37. സ്തോത്രഗാനക്കാരുടെ രണ്ടാം കൂട്ടം അവര്ക്കും എതിരെ ചെന്നു; അവരുടെ പിന്നാലെ ഞാനും ജനത്തില് പാതിയും മതിലിന്മേല് ചൂളഗോപുരത്തിന്നു അപ്പുറം വിശാലമതില്വരെയും എഫ്രയീംവാതിലിന്നപ്പുറം

37. and by the gate of the fountain and over-against them, they have gone up by the steps of the city of David, at the going up of the wall beyond the house of David, and unto the water-gate eastward.

38. പഴയവാതിലും മീന് വാതിലും ഹനനേലിന്റെ ഗോപുരവും ഹമ്മേയാഗോപുരവും കടന്നു ആട്ടുവാതില്വരെയും ചെന്നു; അവര് കാരാഗൃഹവാതില്ക്കല് നിന്നു.

38. And the second thanksgiving company that is going over-against, and I after it, and half of the people on the wall from beyond the tower of the furnaces and unto the broad wall,

39. അങ്ങനെ സ്തോത്രഗാനക്കാരുടെ കൂട്ടം രണ്ടും ഞാനും എന്നോടുകൂടെയുള്ള പ്രമാണികളില് പാതിപേരും നിന്നു.

39. and from beyond the gate of Ephraim, and by the old-gate, and by the fish-gate, and the tower of Hananeel, and the tower of Meah, and unto the sheep-gate -- and they have stood at the prison-gate.

40. കാഹളങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ എല്യാക്കീം, മയസേയാവു, മിന്യാമീന് , മീഖായാവു, എല്യോവേനായി, സെഖര്യ്യാവു, ഹനന്യാവു, എന്ന പുരോഹിതന്മാരും മയസേയാവു,

40. And the two thanksgiving companies stand in the house of God, and I and half of the prefects with me,

41. ശെമയ്യാവു, എലെയാസാര്, ഉസ്സി, യെഹോഹാനാന് മല്ക്കീയാവു, ഏലാം, ഏസെര് എന്നിവരും ദൈവാലയത്തിന്നരികെ വന്നുനിന്നു; സംഗീതക്കാര് ഉച്ചത്തില് പാട്ടുപാടി; യിസ്രഹ്യാവു അവരുടെ പ്രമാണിയായിരുന്നു.

41. and the priests, Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Michaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, Hananiah, with trumpets,

42. അവര് അന്നു മഹായാഗങ്ങള് അര്പ്പിച്ചു സന്തോഷിച്ചു; ദൈവം അവര്ക്കും മഹാസന്തോഷം നല്കിയിരുന്നു; സ്ത്രീകളും പൈതങ്ങളുംകൂടെ സന്തോഷിച്ചു; അതുകൊണ്ടു യെരൂശലേമിലെ സന്തോഷഘോഷം ബഹുദൂരത്തോളം കേട്ടു.

42. and Masseiah, and Shemaiah, and Eleazar, and Uzzi, and Jehohanan, and Malchijah, and Elam, and Ezer, and the singers sound, and Jezrahiah the inspector;

43. അന്നു ശുശ്രൂഷിച്ചുനിലക്കുന്ന പുരോഹിതന്മാരെയും ലേവ്യരെയും കുറിച്ചു യെഹൂദാജനം സന്തോഷിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു അവര് പുരോഹിതന്മാര്ക്കും ലേവ്യര്ക്കും ന്യായപ്രമാണത്താല് നിയമിക്കപ്പെട്ട ഔഹരികളെ, പട്ടണങ്ങളോടു ചേര്ന്ന നിലങ്ങളില്നിന്നു ശേഖരിച്ചു ഭണ്ഡാരത്തിന്നും ഉദര്ച്ചാര്പ്പണങ്ങള്ക്കും ഉള്ള അറകളില് സൂക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ചില പുരുഷന്മാരെ മേല്വിചാരകന്മാരായി നിയമിച്ചു.

43. and they sacrifice on that day great sacrifices and rejoice, for God hath made them rejoice [with] great joy, and also, the women and the children have rejoiced, and the joy of Jerusalem is heard -- unto a distance.

44. അവര് തങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷയും ശുദ്ധീകരണശുശ്രൂഷയും നടത്തി; സംഗീതക്കാരും വാതില്കാവല്ക്കാരും ദാവീദിന്റെയും അവന്റെ മകനായ ശലോമോന്റെയും കല്പനപ്രകാരം ചെയ്തു.

44. And certain are appointed on that day over the chambers for treasures, for heave-offerings, for first-fruits, and for tithes, to gather into them out of the fields of the cities the portions of the law for priests, and for Levites, for the joy of Judah [is] over the priests, and over the Levites, who are standing up.

45. പണ്ടു ദാവീദിന്റെയും ആസാഫിന്റെയും കാലത്തു സംഗീതക്കാര്ക്കും ഒരു തലവനും ദൈവത്തിന്നു സ്തുതിയും സ്തോത്രവും ആയുള്ള ഗീതങ്ങളും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

45. And the singers and the gatekeepers keep the charge of their God, even the charge of the cleansing -- according to the command of David [and] Solomon his son,

46. എല്ലായിസ്രായേലും സെരുബ്ബാബേലിന്റെ കാലത്തും നെഹെമ്യാവിന്റെ കാലത്തും സംഗീതക്കാര്ക്കും വാതില്കാവല്ക്കാര്ക്കും ദിവസേന ആവശ്യമായ ഉപജീവനം കൊടുത്തുവന്നു. അവര് ലേവ്യര്ക്കും നിവേദിതങ്ങളെ കൊടുത്തു; ലേവ്യര് അഹരോന്യര്ക്കും നിവേദിതങ്ങളെ കൊടുത്തു.

46. for in the days of David and Asaph of old [were] heads of the singers, and a song of praise and thanksgiving to God.
