1. Oh, thank GOD--he's so good! His love never runs out.

2. യഹോവേക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്വിന് ; അവന് നല്ലവനല്ലോ അവന്റെ ദയ എന്നേക്കുമുള്ളതു!

2. All of you set free by GOD, tell the world! Tell how he freed you from oppression,

3. യഹോവ വൈരിയുടെ കയ്യില്നിന്നു വീണ്ടെടുക്കയും കിഴക്കും പടിഞ്ഞാറും വടക്കും കടലിലും ഉള്ള

3. Then rounded you up from all over the place, from the four winds, from the seven seas.

4. ദേശങ്ങളില്നിന്നു കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്ക്കയും ചെയ്തവരായ അവന്റെ വിമുക്തന്മാര് അങ്ങനെ പറയട്ടെ.

4. Some of you wandered for years in the desert, looking but not finding a good place to live,

5. അവര് മരുഭൂമിയില് ജനസഞ്ചാരമില്ലാത്ത വഴിയില് ഉഴന്നുനടന്നു; പാര്പ്പാന് ഒരു പട്ടണവും അവര് കണ്ടെത്തിയില്ല.

5. Half-starved and parched with thirst, staggering and stumbling, on the brink of exhaustion.

6. അവര് വിശന്നും ദാഹിച്ചും ഇരുന്നു; അവരുടെ പ്രാണന് അവരുടെ ഉള്ളില് തളര്ന്നു.

6. Then, in your desperate condition, you called out to GOD. He got you out in the nick of time;

7. അവര് തങ്ങളുടെ കഷ്ടതയില് യഹോവയോടു നിലവിളിച്ചു; അവന് അവരെ അവരുടെ ഞെരുക്കങ്ങളില് നിന്നു വിടുവിച്ചു.

7. He put your feet on a wonderful road that took you straight to a good place to live.

8. അവര് പാര്പ്പാന് തക്ക പട്ടണത്തില് ചെല്ലേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന് അവരെ ചൊവ്വെയുള്ള വഴിയില് നടത്തി.

8. So thank GOD for his marvelous love, for his miracle mercy to the children he loves.

9. അവര് യഹോവയെ അവന്റെ നന്മയെ ചൊല്ലിയും മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരില് ചെയ്ത അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെ ചൊല്ലിയും സ്തുതിക്കട്ടെ.

9. He poured great draughts of water down parched throats; the starved and hungry got plenty to eat.

10. അവന് ആര്ത്തിയുള്ളവന്നു തൃപ്തിവരുത്തുകയും വിശപ്പുള്ളവനെ നന്മകൊണ്ടു നിറെക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

10. Some of you were locked in a dark cell, cruelly confined behind bars,

11. ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വചനങ്ങളോടു മത്സരിക്കയും അത്യുന്നതന്റെ ആലോചനയെ നിരസിക്കയും ചെയ്തിട്ടു ഇരുളിലും അന്ധതമസ്സിലും ഇരുന്നു

11. Punished for defying God's Word, for turning your back on the High God's counsel--

12. അരിഷ്ടതയാലും ഇരുമ്പുചങ്ങലയാലും ബന്ധിക്കപ്പെട്ടവര് -

12. A hard sentence, and your hearts so heavy, and not a soul in sight to help.

13. അവരുടെ ഹൃദയത്തെ അവന് കഷ്ടതകൊണ്ടു താഴ്ത്തി; അവര് ഇടറിവീണു; സഹായിപ്പാന് ആരുമുണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല.

13. Then you called out to GOD in your desperate condition; he got you out in the nick of time.

14. അവര് തങ്ങളുടെ കഷ്ടതയില് യഹോവയോടു നിലവിളിച്ചു; അവന് അവരുടെ ഞെരുക്കങ്ങളില്നിന്നു അവരെ രക്ഷിച്ചു.

14. He led you out of your dark, dark cell, broke open the jail and led you out.

15. അവന് അവരെ ഇരുട്ടില്നിന്നും അന്ധതമസ്സില്നിന്നും പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു; അവരുടെ ബന്ധനങ്ങളെ അറുത്തുകളഞ്ഞു.

15. So thank GOD for his marvelous love, for his miracle mercy to the children he loves;

16. അവര് യഹോവയെ, അവന്റെ നന്മയെ ചൊല്ലിയും മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരില് ചെയ്ത അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെ ചൊല്ലിയും സ്തുതിക്കട്ടെ.

16. He shattered the heavy jailhouse doors, he snapped the prison bars like matchsticks!

17. അവന് താമ്രകതകുകളെ തകര്ത്തു, ഇരിമ്പോടാമ്പലുകളെ മുറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

17. Some of you were sick because you'd lived a bad life, your bodies feeling the effects of your sin;

18. ഭോഷന്മാര് തങ്ങളുടെ ലംഘനങ്ങള് ഹേതുവായും തങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യങ്ങള്നിമിത്തവും കഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു.

18. You couldn't stand the sight of food, so miserable you thought you'd be better off dead.

19. അവര്ക്കും സകലവിധ ഭക്ഷണത്തോടും വെറുപ്പുതോന്നി; അവര് മരണവാതിലുകളോടു സമീപിച്ചിരുന്നു.

19. Then you called out to GOD in your desperate condition; he got you out in the nick of time.

20. അവര് തങ്ങളുടെ കഷ്ടതയില് യഹോവയോടു നിലവിളിച്ചു; അവന് അവരെ അവരുടെ ഞെരുക്കങ്ങളില്നിന്നു രക്ഷിച്ചു.

20. He spoke the word that healed you, that pulled you back from the brink of death.

21. അവന് തന്റെ വചനത്തെ അയച്ചു അവരെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കി; അവരുടെ കുഴികളില്നിന്നു അവരെ വിടുവിച്ചു.

21. So thank GOD for his marvelous love, for his miracle mercy to the children he loves;

22. അവര് യഹോവയെ അവന്റെ നന്മയെചൊല്ലിയും മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരില് ചെയ്ത അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെ ചൊല്ലിയും സ്തുതിക്കട്ടെ.

22. Offer thanksgiving sacrifices, tell the world what he's done--sing it out!

23. അവര് സ്തോത്രയാഗങ്ങളെ കഴിക്കയും സംഗീതത്തോടുകൂടെ അവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ വര്ണ്ണിക്കയും ചെയ്യട്ടെ.

23. Some of you set sail in big ships; you put to sea to do business in faraway ports.

24. കപ്പല് കയറി സമുദ്രത്തില് ഔടിയവര്, പെരുവെള്ളങ്ങളില് വ്യാപാരം ചെയ്തവര്,

24. Out at sea you saw GOD in action, saw his breathtaking ways with the ocean:

25. അവര് യഹോവയുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെയും ആഴിയില് അവന്റെ അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെയും കണ്ടു.

25. With a word he called up the wind-- an ocean storm, towering waves!

26. അവന് കല്പിച്ചു കൊടുങ്കാറ്റു അടിപ്പിച്ചു, അതു അതിലെ തിരകളെ പൊങ്ങുമാറാക്കി.

26. You shot high in the sky, then the bottom dropped out; your hearts were stuck in your throats.

27. അവര് ആകാശത്തിലേക്കു ഉയര്ന്നു, വീണ്ടും ആഴത്തിലേക്കു താണു, അവരുടെ പ്രാണന് കഷ്ടത്താല് ഉരുകിപ്പോയി.

27. You were spun like a top, you reeled like a drunk, you didn't know which end was up.

28. അവര് മത്തനെപ്പോലെ തുള്ളി ചാഞ്ചാടിനടന്നു; അവരുടെ ബുദ്ധി പൊയ്പോയിരുന്നു.

28. Then you called out to GOD in your desperate condition; he got you out in the nick of time.

29. അവര് തങ്ങളുടെ കഷ്ടതയില് യഹോവയോടു നിലവിളിച്ചു; അവന് അവരെ അവരുടെ ഞെരുക്കങ്ങളില് നിന്നു വിടുവിച്ചു.

29. He quieted the wind down to a whisper, put a muzzle on all the big waves.

30. അവന് കൊടുങ്കാറ്റിനെ ശാന്തമാക്കി; തിരമാലകള് അടങ്ങി.

30. And you were so glad when the storm died down, and he led you safely back to harbor.

31. ശാന്തത വന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അവര് സന്തോഷിച്ചു; അവര് ആഗ്രഹിച്ച തുറമുഖത്തു അവന് അവരെ എത്തിച്ചു.

31. So thank GOD for his marvelous love, for his miracle mercy to the children he loves.

32. അവര് യഹോവയെ അവന്റെ നന്മയെ ചൊല്ലിയും മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരില് ചെയ്ത അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെ ചൊല്ലിയും സ്തുതിക്കട്ടെ.

32. Lift high your praises when the people assemble, shout Hallelujah when the elders meet!

33. അവര് ജനത്തിന്റെ സഭയില് അവനെ പുകഴ്ത്തുകയും മൂപ്പന്മാരുടെ സംഘത്തില് അവനെ സ്തുതിക്കയും ചെയ്യട്ടേ.

33. GOD turned rivers into wasteland, springs of water into sunbaked mud;

34. നിവാസികളുടെ ദുഷ്ടതനിമിത്തം അവന് നദികളെ മരുഭൂമിയും

34. Luscious orchards became alkali flats because of the evil of the people who lived there.

35. നീരുറവുകളെ വരണ്ട നിലവും ഫലപ്രദമായ ഭൂമിയെ ഉവര്ന്നിലവും ആക്കി.

35. Then he changed wasteland into fresh pools of water, arid earth into springs of water,

36. അവന് മരുഭൂമിയെ ജലതടാകവും വരണ്ട നിലത്തെ നീരുറവുകളും ആക്കി.

36. Brought in the hungry and settled them there; they moved in--what a great place to live!

37. വിശന്നവരെ അവന് അവിടെ പാര്പ്പിച്ചു; അവര് പാര്പ്പാന് പട്ടണം ഉണ്ടാക്കുകയും നിലം വിതെക്കയും

37. They sowed the fields, they planted vineyards, they reaped a bountiful harvest.

38. മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടം നട്ടുണ്ടാക്കുകയും നമൃദ്ധിയായി ഫലങ്ങളെ അനുഭവിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

38. He blessed them and they prospered greatly; their herds of cattle never decreased.

39. അവന് അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചിട്ടു അവര് അത്യന്തം പെരുകി; അവരുടെ കന്നുകാലികള് കുറഞ്ഞുപോകുവാന് അവന് ഇടവരുത്തിയില്ല.

39. But abuse and evil and trouble declined

40. പീഡനവും കഷ്ടതയും സങ്കടവും ഹേതുവായി അവര് പിന്നെയും കുറഞ്ഞു താണുപോയി.

40. as he heaped scorn on princes and sent them away. He gave the poor a safe place to live,

41. അവന് പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരുടെമേല് നിന്ദപകരുകയും വഴിയില്ലാത്ത ശൂന്യപ്രദേശത്തു അവരെ ഉഴലുമാറാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

41. treated their clans like well-cared-for sheep.

42. അവന് ദരിദ്രനെ പീഡയില്നിന്നു ഉയര്ത്തി അവന്റെ കുലങ്ങളെ ആട്ടിന് കൂട്ടംപോലെ ആക്കി.

42. Good people see this and are glad; bad people are speechless, stopped in their tracks.

43. നേരുള്ളവര് ഇതു കണ്ടു സന്തോഷിക്കും; നീതികെട്ടവര് ഒക്കെയും വായ്പൊത്തും.

43. If you are really wise, you'll think this over-- it's time you appreciated GOD's deep love.
