1. യഹോവേക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്വിന് ; അവന് നല്ലവനല്ലോ; അവന്റെ ദയ എന്നേക്കുമുള്ളതു.

1. O GIVE thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

2. അവന്റെ ദയ എന്നേക്കുമുള്ളതു എന്നു യിസ്രായേല് പറയട്ടെ.

5. ഞെരുക്കത്തില് ഞാന് യഹോവയെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിച്ചു, യഹോവ ഉത്തരമരുളി എന്നെ വിശാലസ്ഥലത്താക്കി.

6. The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?

7. The LORD is on my side among them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.

8. മനുഷ്യനില് ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നതിനെക്കാള് യഹോവയില് ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നതു നല്ലതു.

8. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

9. പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരില് ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നതിനേക്കാള് യഹോവയില് ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നതു നല്ലതു.

9. It is better to trust in the LORD, than to put confidence in princes.

10. സകലജാതികളും എന്നെ ചുറ്റിവളഞ്ഞു; യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തില് ഞാന് അവരെ ഛേദിച്ചുകളയും.

10. All nations compassed me about: in the name of the LORD I will cut them off.

11. അവര് എന്നെ വളഞ്ഞു; അതേ, അവര് എന്നെ വളഞ്ഞു; യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തില് ഞാന് അവരെ ഛേദിച്ചുകളയും.

11. They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about: in the name of the LORD I will cut them off.

12. അവര് തേനീച്ചപോലെ എന്നെ ചുറ്റിവളഞ്ഞു; മുള്തീപോലെ അവര് കെട്ടുപോയി; യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തില് ഞാന് അവരെ ഛേദിച്ചുകളയും.

12. They compassed me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: in the name of the LORD I will cut them off.

13. ഞാന് വീഴുവാന് തക്കവണ്ണം നീ എന്നെ തള്ളി; എങ്കിലും യഹോവ എന്നെ സഹായിച്ചു.

13. Thou didst thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the LORD helped me.

14. യഹോവ എന്റെ ബലവും എന്റെ കീര്ത്തനവും ആകുന്നു; അവന് എനിക്കു രക്ഷയായും തീര്ന്നു.

14. The LORD is my strength and song; and he is become my salvation.

15. ഉല്ലാസത്തിന്റെയും ജയത്തിന്റെയും ഘോഷം നീതിമാന്മാരുടെ കൂടാരങ്ങളില് ഉണ്ടു; യഹോവയുടെ വലങ്കൈ വീര്യം പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നു.

15. The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.

16. യഹോവയുടെ വലങ്കൈ ഉയര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; യഹോവയുടെ വലങ്കൈ വീര്യം പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നു.

16. The right hand of the LORD is exalted: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.

17. ഞാന് മരിക്കയില്ല; ഞാന് ജീവനോടെയിരുന്നു യഹോവയുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ വര്ണ്ണിക്കും.

17. I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.

18. യഹോവ എന്നെ കഠിനമായി ശിക്ഷിച്ചു; എന്നാലും അവന് എന്നെ മരണത്തിന്നു ഏല്പിച്ചിട്ടില്ല.

18. The LORD hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.

19. നീതിയുടെ വാതിലുകള് എനിക്കു തുറന്നു തരുവിന് ; ഞാന് അവയില്കൂടി കടന്നു യഹോവേക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യും.

19. Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will enter into them, I will give thanks unto the LORD.

20. യഹോവയുടെ വാതില് ഇതു തന്നേ; നീതിമാന്മാര് അതില്കൂടി കടക്കും.

20. This is the gate of the LORD; the righteous shall enter into it.

21. നീ എനിക്കു ഉത്തരമരുളി എന്റെ രക്ഷയായി തീര്ന്നിരിക്കയാല് ഞാന് നിനക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യും.

21. I will give thanks unto thee, for thou hast answered me, and art become my salvation.
