1. യഹോവേ, രാജാവു നിന്റെ ബലത്തില് സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ രക്ഷയില് അവന് ഏറ്റവും ഉല്ലസിക്കുന്നു.

1. To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David. The king shall joy in thy strength, Jehovah; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice.

2. അവന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിലെ ആഗ്രഹം നീ അവന്നു നല്കി; അവന്റെ അധരങ്ങളുടെ യാചന നിഷേധിച്ചതുമില്ല. സേലാ.

2. Thou hast given him his heart's desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah.

3. നന്മയുടെ അനുഗ്രഹങ്ങളാല് നീ അവനെ എതിരേറ്റു, തങ്കക്കിരീടത്തെ അവന്റെ തലയില് വെക്കുന്നു.

3. For thou hast met him with the blessings of goodness; thou hast set a crown of pure gold on his head.

4. അവന് നിന്നോടു ജീവനെ അപേക്ഷിച്ചു; നീ അവന്നു കൊടുത്തു; എന്നെന്നേക്കുമുള്ള ദീര്ഘായുസ്സിനെ തന്നേ.

4. He asked life of thee; thou gavest [it] him, length of days for ever and ever.

5. നിന്റെ രക്ഷയാല് അവന്റെ മഹത്വം വലിയതു; മാനവും തേജസ്സും നീ അവനെ അണിയിച്ചു.

5. His glory is great through thy salvation; majesty and splendour hast thou laid upon him.

6. നീ അവനെ എന്നേക്കും അനുഗ്രഹസമൃദ്ധിയാക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ സന്നിധിയിലെ സന്തോഷംകൊണ്ടു അവനെ ആനന്ദിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

6. For thou hast made him to be blessings for ever; thou hast filled him with joy by thy countenance.

7. രാജാവു യഹോവയില് ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നു; അത്യുന്നതന്റെ കാരുണ്യംകൊണ്ടു അവന് കുലുങ്ങാതിരിക്കും.

7. For the king confideth in Jehovah: and through the loving-kindness of the Most High he shall not be moved.

8. നിന്റെ കൈ നിന്റെ സകലശത്രുക്കളെയും കണ്ടുപിടിക്കും നിന്റെ വലങ്കൈ നിന്നെ പകെക്കുന്നവരെ പിടിക്കുടും.

8. Thy hand shall find out all thine enemies; thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.

9. നിന്റെ പ്രത്യക്ഷതയുടെ കാലത്തു നീ അവരെ തീച്ചൂളയെപ്പോലെയാക്കും; യഹോവ തന്റെ ക്രോധത്തില് അവരെ വിഴുങ്ങിക്കളയും; തീ അവരെ ദഹിപ്പിക്കും.

9. Thou shalt make them as a fiery furnace in the time of thy presence; Jehovah shall swallow them up in his anger, and the fire shall devour them:

10. നീ അവരുടെ ഫലത്തെ ഭൂമിയില്നിന്നും അവരുടെ സന്തതിയെ മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരുടെ ഇടയില്നിന്നും നശിപ്പിക്കും.

10. Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.

11. അവര് നിനക്കു വിരോധമായി ദോഷംവിചാരിച്ചു; തങ്ങളാല് സാധിക്കാത്ത ഒരു ഉപായം നിരൂപിച്ചു.

11. For they intended evil against thee; they imagined a mischievous device, which they could not execute.

12. നീ അവരെ പുറം കാട്ടുമാറാക്കും അവരുടെ മുഖത്തിന്നുനേരെ അസ്ത്രം ഞാണിന്മേല് തൊടുക്കും.

12. For thou wilt make them turn their back; thou wilt make ready thy bowstring against their face.

13. യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ ശക്തിയില് ഉയര്ന്നിരിക്കേണമേ; ഞങ്ങള് പാടി നിന്റെ ബലത്തെ സ്തുതിക്കും.

13. Be thou exalted, Jehovah, in thine own strength: we will sing and celebrate thy power.
