1. യഹോവേ, നിങ്കലേക്കു ഞാന് മനസ്സു ഉയര്ത്തുന്നു;

1. By David: I lift my inner being to you, ADONAI;

2. എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, നിന്നില് ഞാന് ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് ലജ്ജിച്ചു പോകരുതേ; എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കള് എന്റെമേല് ജയം ഘോഷിക്കരുതേ.

2. I trust you, my God. Don't let me be disgraced, don't let my enemies gloat over me.

3. നിന്നെ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരുത്തനും ലജ്ജിച്ചു പോകയില്ല; വെറുതെ ദ്രോഹിക്കുന്നവര് ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകും.

3. No one waiting for you will be disgraced; disgrace awaits those who break faith for no reason.

4. യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ വഴികളെ എന്നെ അറിയിക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ പാതകളെ എനിക്കു ഉപദേശിച്ചു തരേണമേ!

4. Make me know your ways, ADONAI, teach me your paths.

5. നിന്റെ സത്യത്തില് എന്നെ നടത്തി എന്നെ പഠിപ്പിക്കേണമേ; നീ എന്റെ രക്ഷയുടെ ദൈവമാകുന്നുവല്ലോ; ദിവസം മുഴുവനും ഞാന് നിങ്കല് പ്രത്യാശവെക്കുന്നു.

5. Guide me in your truth, and teach me; for you are the God who saves me, my hope is in you all day long.

6. യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ കരുണയും ദയയും ഔര്ക്കേണമേ; അവ പണ്ടുപണ്ടേയുള്ളവയല്ലോ.

6. Remember your compassion and grace, ADONAI; for these are ages old.

7. എന്റെ ബാല്യത്തിലെ പാപങ്ങളെയും എന്റെ ലംഘനങ്ങളെയും ഔര്ക്കരുതേ; യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ കൃപപ്രകാരം നിന്റെ ദയനിമിത്തം എന്നെ ഔര്ക്കേണമേ.

7. Don't remember my youthful sins or transgressions; but remember me according to your grace for the sake of your goodness, ADONAI.

8. യഹോവ നല്ലവനും നേരുള്ളവനും ആകുന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ടു അവന് പാപികളെ നേര്വ്വഴികാണിക്കുന്നു.

8. ADONAI is good, and he is fair; this is why he teaches sinners the way [[to live]],

9. സൌമ്യതയുള്ളവരെ അവന് ന്യായത്തില് നടത്തുന്നു; സൌമ്യതയുള്ളവര്ക്കും തന്റെ വഴി പഠിപ്പിച്ചു കൊടുക്കുന്നു.

9. leads the humble to do what is right and teaches the humble [[to live]] his way.

10. യഹോവയുടെ നിയമവും സാക്ഷ്യങ്ങളും പ്രമാണിക്കുന്നവര്ക്കും അവന്റെ പാതകളൊക്കെയും ദയയും സത്യവും ആകുന്നു.

10. All ADONAI's paths are grace and truth to those who keep his covenant and instructions.

11. യഹോവേ, എന്റെ അകൃത്യം വലിയതു; നിന്റെ നാമംനിമിത്തം അതു ക്ഷമിക്കേണമേ.

11. For the sake of your name, ADONAI, forgive my wickedness, great though it is.

12. യഹോവാഭക്തനായ പുരുഷന് ആര്? അവന് തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കേണ്ടുന്ന വഴി താന് അവന്നു കാണിച്ചുകൊടുക്കും.

12. Who is the person who fears ADONAI? He will teach him the way to choose.

13. അവന് സുഖത്തോടെ വസിക്കും; അവന്റെ സന്തതി ദേശത്തെ അവകാശമാക്കും.

13. He will remain prosperous, and his descendants will inherit the land.

14. യഹോവയുടെ സഖിത്വം തന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാര്ക്കും ഉണ്ടാകും; അവന് തന്റെ നിയമം അവരെ അറിയിക്കുന്നു.

14. ADONAI relates intimately with those who fear him; he makes them know his covenant.

15. എന്റെ കണ്ണു എപ്പോഴും യഹോവയിങ്കലേക്കാകുന്നു; അവന് എന്റെ കാലുകളെ വലയില്നിന്നു വിടുവിക്കും.

15. My eyes are always directed toward ADONAI, for he will free my feet from the net.

16. എങ്കലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞു എന്നോടു കരുണയുണ്ടാകേണമേ; ഞാന് ഏകാകിയും അരിഷ്ടനും ആകുന്നു.

16. Turn to me, and show me your favor; for I am alone and oppressed.

17. എനിക്കു മന:പീഡകള് വര്ദ്ധിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ സങ്കടങ്ങളില്നിന്നു എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കേണമേ.

17. The troubles of my heart are growing and growing; bring me out of my distress.

18. എന്റെ അരിഷ്ടതയും അതിവേദനയും നോക്കേണമേ; എന്റെ സകലപാപങ്ങളും ക്ഷമിക്കേണമേ.

18. See my affliction and suffering, and take all my sins away.

19. എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ നോക്കേണമേ; അവര് പെരുകിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അവര് കഠിനദ്വേഷത്തോടെ എന്നെ ദ്വേഷിക്കുന്നു;

19. Consider my enemies, how many there are and how cruelly they hate me.

20. എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ കാത്തു എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കേണമേ; നിന്നെ ശരണമാക്കിയിരിക്കയാല് ഞാന് ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകരുതേ.
