1. യഹോവേ, ഞാന് നിന്നെ ശരണം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് ഒരുനാളും ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകരുതേ; നിന്റെ നീതിനിമിത്തം എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കേണമേ.

1. For the end, A Psalm of David, [an utterance] of extreme fear. O Lord, I have hoped in You; let me never be ashamed; deliver me in Your righteousness and rescue me.

2. നിന്റെ ചെവി എങ്കലേക്കു ചായിച്ചു എന്നെ വേഗം വിടുവിക്കേണമേ. നീ എനിക്കു ഉറപ്പുള്ള പാറയായും എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു കോട്ടയായും ഇരിക്കേണമേ;

2. Incline Your ear to me; make haste to rescue me; be to me my protecting God, and a fortress of defense to save me.

3. നീ എന്റെ പാറയും എന്റെ കോട്ടയുമല്ലോ. നിന്റെ നാമംനിമിത്തം എന്നെ നടത്തി പാലിക്കേണമേ;

3. For You are my strength and my refuge; and You shall guide me for Your name's sake, and maintain me.

4. അവര് എനിക്കായി ഒളിച്ചുവെച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന വലയില്നിന്നു എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കേണമേ; നീ എന്റെ ദുര്ഗ്ഗമാകുന്നുവല്ലോ.

4. You shall bring me out of the snare which they have hidden for me; for You, O Lord, are my defender.

5. നിന്റെ കയ്യില് ഞാന് എന്റെ ആത്മാവിനെ ഭരമേല്പിക്കുന്നു; വിശ്വസ്തദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, നീ എന്നെ വീണ്ടെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

5. Into Your hands I commit my spirit; You have redeemed me, O Lord God of truth.

6. മിത്ഥ്യാമൂര്ത്തികളെ സേവിക്കുന്നവരെ ഞാന് പകെക്കുന്നു; ഞാനോ യഹോവയില് ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നു.

6. You have hated them that idly persist in vanities; but I have hoped in the Lord.

7. ഞാന് നിന്റെ ദയയില് ആനന്ദിച്ചു സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നു; നീ എന്റെ അരിഷ്ടതയെ കണ്ടു എന്റെ പ്രാണസങ്കടങ്ങളെ അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

7. I will exalt and be glad in Your mercy; for You have looked upon my affliction; You have saved my soul from distresses.

8. ശത്രുവിന്റെ കയ്യില് നീ എന്നെ ഏല്പിച്ചിട്ടില്ല; എന്റെ കാലുകളെ നീ വിശാലസ്ഥലത്തു നിര്ത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

8. And You have not shut me up into the hands of the enemy; You have set my feet in a wide place.

9. യഹോവേ, എന്നോടു കൃപയുണ്ടാകേണമേ; ഞാന് കഷ്ടത്തിലായിരിക്കുന്നു; വ്യസനംകൊണ്ടു എന്റെ കണ്ണും പ്രാണനും ഉദരവും ക്ഷയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

9. Pity me, O Lord, for I am afflicted; my eye is troubled with indignation, my soul and my belly.

10. എന്റെ ആയുസ്സു ദുഃഖംകൊണ്ടും എന്റെ സംവത്സരങ്ങള് നെടുവീര്പ്പുകൊണ്ടും കഴിഞ്ഞുപോയിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ അകൃത്യംനിമിത്തം എന്റെ ബലം ക്ഷീണിച്ചും എന്റെ അസ്ഥികള് ക്ഷയിച്ചും ഇരിക്കുന്നു.

10. For my life is spent with grief, and my years with groanings; my strength has been weakened through poverty, and my bones are troubled.

11. എന്റെ സകലവൈരികളാലും ഞാന് നിന്ദിതനായിത്തീര്ന്നു; എന്റെ അയല്ക്കാര്ക്കും അതിനിന്ദിതന് തന്നേ; എന്റെ മുഖപരിചയക്കാര്ക്കും ഞാന് ഭയഹേതു വായ്ഭവിച്ചു; എന്നെ വെളിയില് കാണുന്നവര് എന്നെ വിട്ടു ഔടിപ്പോകുന്നു.

11. I became a reproach among all my enemies, but exceedingly so to my neighbors, and a fear to my acquaintance; they that saw me outside fled from me.

12. മരിച്ചുപോയവനെപ്പോലെ എന്നെ മറന്നുകളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് ഒരു ഉടഞ്ഞ പാത്രംപോലെ ആയിരിക്കുന്നു.

12. I have been forgotten as a dead man out of mind; I have become as a broken vessel.

13. ചുറ്റും ഭീതി എന്ന അപശ്രുതി ഞാന് പലരുടെയും വായില്നിന്നു കേട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; അവര് എനിക്കു വിരോധമായി കൂടി ആലോചനചെയ്തു, എന്റെ ജീവനെ എടുത്തുകളവാന് നിരൂപിച്ചു.

13. For I heard the slander of many that dwelt round about; when they were gathered together against me, they took counsel to take my life.

14. എങ്കിലും യഹോവേ, ഞാന് നിന്നില് ആശ്രയിച്ചു; നീ എന്റെ ദൈവം എന്നു ഞാന് പറഞ്ഞു.

14. But I hoped in You, O Lord; I said, You are my God.

15. എന്റെ കാലഗതികള് നിന്റെ കയ്യില് ഇരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളുടെയും എന്നെ പീഡിപ്പിക്കുന്നവരുടെയും കയ്യില്നിന്നു എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കേണമേ.

15. My times are in Your hands; deliver me from the hand of my enemies,

16. അടിയന്റെമേല് തിരുമുഖം പ്രകാശിപ്പിക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ ദയയാല് എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ.

16. and from them that persecute me. Make Your face to shine upon Your servant; save me in Your mercy.

17. യഹോവേ, നിന്നെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകരുതേ; ദുഷ്ടന്മാര് ലജ്ജിച്ചു പാതാളത്തില് മൌനമായിരിക്കട്ടെ.

17. O Lord, let me not be ashamed, for I have called upon You; let the ungodly be ashamed, and brought down to Hades.

18. നീതിമാന്നു വിരോധമായി ഡംഭത്തോടും നിന്ദയോടും കൂടെ ധാര്ഷ്ട്യം സംസാരിക്കുന്ന വ്യാജമുള്ള അധരങ്ങള് മിണ്ടാതെയായ്പോകട്ടെ.

18. Let the deceitful lips become dumb, which speak iniquity against the righteous with pride and scorn.

19. നിന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാര്ക്കും വേണ്ടി നീ സംഗ്രഹിച്ചതും നിന്നില് ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നവര്ക്കും വേണ്ടി മനുഷ്യ പുത്രന്മാര് കാണ്കെ നീ പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചതുമായ നിന്റെ നന്മ എത്ര വലിയതാകുന്നു.

19. How abundant is the multitude of Your goodness, O Lord, which You have laid up for them that fear You! You have wrought [it] out for them that hope on You, in the presence of the sons of men.

20. നീ അവരെ മനുഷ്യരുടെ കൂട്ടുകെട്ടില്നിന്നു വിടുവിച്ചു നിന്റെ സാന്നിധ്യത്തിന്റെ മറവില് മറെക്കും. നീ അവരെ നാവുകളുടെ വക്കാണത്തില്നിന്നു രക്ഷിച്ചു ഒരു കൂടാരത്തിന്നകത്തു ഒളിപ്പിക്കും.

20. You will hide them in the secret of Your presence from the vexation of man; You will screen them in a tabernacle from the contradiction of tongues.

21. യഹോവ വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെട്ടവന് ; അവന് ഉറപ്പുള്ള പട്ടണത്തില് തന്റെ ദയ എനിക്കു അത്ഭുതമായി കാണിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

21. Blessed be the Lord, for He has magnified His mercy in a fortified city.

22. ഞാന് നിന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടിയില്നിന്നു ഛേദിക്കപ്പെട്ടുപോയി എന്നു ഞാന് എന്റെ പരിഭ്രമത്തില് പറഞ്ഞു. എങ്കിലും ഞാന് നിന്നെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിച്ചപ്പോള് എന്റെ യാചനയുടെ ശബ്ദം നീ കേട്ടു.

22. But I said in my extreme fear, I am cast out from the sight of Your eyes; therefore You listened, O Lord, to the voice of my supplication when I cried to You.

23. യഹോവയുടെ സകലവിശുദ്ധന്മാരുമായുള്ളോരേ, അവനെ സ്നേഹിപ്പിന് ; യഹോവ വിശ്വസ്തന്മാരെ കാക്കുന്നു; അഹങ്കാരം പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നവന്നു ധാരാളം പകരം കൊടുക്കുന്നു.

23. Love the Lord, all you His saints; for the Lord seeks [those that are] truthful, and He recompenses them that deal very proudly.

24. യഹോവയില് പ്രത്യാശയുള്ള ഏവരുമേ, ധൈര്യപ്പെട്ടിരിപ്പിന് ; നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയം ഉറെച്ചിരിക്കട്ടെ.

24. Be of good courage, and let your heart be strengthened, all you that hope in the Lord.
