1. എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ കയ്യില്നിന്നു എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കേണമേ; എന്നോടു എതിര്ക്കുംന്നവരുടെ വശത്തുനിന്നു എന്നെ ഉദ്ധരിക്കേണമേ.

1. Deliver me from my enemies, O my God; defend me from those that rise up against me.

2. നീതികേടു പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നവരുടെ കയ്യില് നിന്നു എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു രക്തപാതകന്മാരുടെ പക്കല്നിന്നു എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ.

2. Deliver me from the workers of iniquity and save me from bloodthirsty men.

3. ഇതാ, അവര് എന്റെ പ്രാണന്നായി പതിയിരിക്കുന്നു; യഹോവേ, ബലവാന്മാര് എന്റെ നേരെ കൂട്ടം കൂടുന്നതു എന്റെ അതിക്രമം ഹേതുവായിട്ടല്ല, എന്റെ പാപം ഹേതുവായിട്ടുമല്ല.

3. For, behold, they lie in wait for my soul; the strong are gathered against me; I [am] not in rebellion, nor [in] sin, O LORD.

4. എന്റെ പക്കല് അകൃത്യം ഇല്ലാതെ അവര് ഔടി ഒരുങ്ങുന്നു; എന്നെ സഹായിപ്പാന് ഉണര്ന്നു കടാക്ഷിക്കേണമേ.

4. They run and prepare themselves when [I] have committed no iniquity; awake to help me and behold.

5. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമേ, സകലജാതികളെയും സന്ദര്ശിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ ഉണരേണമേ; നീതികെട്ട ദ്രോഹികളില് ആരോടും കൃപ ഉണ്ടാകരുതേ. സേലാ.

5. Thou, therefore, O LORD God of the hosts, the God of Israel, awake to visit all the Gentiles; be not merciful to any rebellious [workers of] iniquity. Selah.

6. സന്ധ്യാസമയത്തു അവര് മടങ്ങിവരുന്നു; നായെപ്പോലെ കുരച്ചുംകൊണ്ടു അവര് പട്ടണത്തിന്നു ചുറ്റും നടക്കുന്നു.

6. They will return at evening; they will bark like dogs and go round about [outside] the city.

7. അവര് തങ്ങളുടെ വായ്കൊണ്ടു ശകാരിക്കുന്നു; വാളുകള് അവരുടെ അധരങ്ങളില് ഉണ്ടു; ആര് കേള്ക്കും എന്നു അവര് പറയുന്നു.

7. Behold, they belch out with their mouth; swords [are] in their lips; for who, [say they], doth hear?

8. എങ്കിലും യഹോവേ, നീ അവരെച്ചൊല്ലി ചിരിക്കും; നീ സകലജാതികളെയും പരിഹസിക്കും.

8. But thou, O LORD, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the Gentiles in derision.

9. എന്റെ ബലമായുള്ളോവേ, ഞാന് നിന്നെ കാത്തിരിക്കും; ദൈവം എന്റെ ഗോപുരമാകുന്നു.

9. I will reserve his strength unto thee, for God [is] my defence.

10. എന്റെ ദൈവം തന്റെ ദയയാല് എന്നെ എതിരേലക്കും; ദൈവം എന്നെ എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ കണ്ടു രസിക്കുമാറാക്കും.

10. The God of my mercy shall meet me [on the way]; God shall let me see [my desire] upon my enemies.

11. അവരെ കൊന്നുകളയരുതേ; എന്റെ ജനം മറക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ; ഞങ്ങളുടെ പരിചയാകുന്ന കര്ത്താവേ, നിന്റെ ശക്തികൊണ്ടു അവരെ ഉഴലുമാറാക്കി താഴ്ത്തേണമേ.

11. Slay them not lest my people forget; scatter them by thy power and bring them down, O Lord our shield.

12. അവരുടെ വായിലെ പാപവും അധരങ്ങളിലെ വാക്കുകളും നിമിത്തവും അവര് പറയുന്ന ശാപവും ഭോഷകുംനിമിത്തവും അവര് തങ്ങളുടെ അഹങ്കാരത്തില് പിടിപ്പെട്ടുപോകട്ടെ.

12. [For] the sin of their mouth [and] the words of their lips, let them even be taken in their pride; they shall be subject to weakness and to a curse.

13. കോപത്തോടെ അവരെ സംഹരിക്കേണമേ; അവര് ഇല്ലാതെയാകുംവണ്ണം അവരെ സംഹരിച്ചുകളയേണമേ; ദൈവം യാക്കോബില് വാഴുന്നു എന്നു ഭൂമിയുടെ അറ്റംവരെ അറിയുമാറാകട്ടെ. സേലാ.

13. Consume [them] in wrath, consume [them] that they [may] not [be] and let them know that God rules in Jacob unto the ends of the earth. Selah.

14. സന്ധ്യാസമയത്തു അവര് മടങ്ങിവരുന്നു; നായെപ്പോലെ കുരെച്ചുംകൊണ്ടു അവര് നഗരത്തിന്നു ചുറ്റും നടക്കുന്നു.

14. And at evening let them return [and] let them bark like dogs and go round about [outside] the city.

15. അവര് ആഹാരത്തിന്നായി ഉഴന്നുനടക്കുന്നു, തൃപ്തിയായില്ലെങ്കില് അവര് രാത്രിമുഴുവനും താമസിക്കുന്നു.

15. Let them wander up and down for food and murmur if they are not satisfied.

16. ഞാനോ നിന്റെ ബലത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു പാടും; അതികാലത്തു ഞാന് നിന്റെ ദയയെക്കുറിച്ചു ഘോഷിച്ചാനന്ദിക്കും. കഷ്ടകാലത്തു നീ എന്റെ ഗോപുരവും അഭയസ്ഥാനവും ആയിരുന്നു.

16. But I will sing of thy power; I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning, for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.

17. എന്റെ ബലമായുള്ളോവേ, ഞാന് നിനക്കു സ്തുതിപാടും; ദൈവം എന്റെ ഗോപുരവും എന്നോടു ദയയുള്ള ദൈവവും അല്ലോ. 17. Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing, for God [is] my defence [and] the God of my mercy.:
